Cons (-) Rooms were not good. Beds were terrible. Possibly the worst hotel beds I have slept in. Noisy and kept the kids up as they are light sleepers. The hotel itself smelled old and the rooms did as well. There was mold in the inside bath/shower unit. We left the hotel as soon as we could. Staff were fantastic. The employees in the hotel did a great job.
Cons (-) We found that the noise from the highway can be very loud and make it challenging for children to sleep at night. We also found cockroaches in the bathroom and that is not good indication of cleanliness. We raised the fact that we found the cockroaches to the hotel staff and their response was okay we will inform the housekeeping.
Pros (+) The staff was really personable from the valets to Jorge to the counter staff. The hotel has a very appealing luxury façade but wait until you get to the room.
Cons (-) The room air conditioner did not cool the room. The ceiling had what looked like "black mold" but at closer look may be lent from the air conditioner vent. The room area that housed the ice maker looked very neglected which made me feel that the hotel was beautiful on the surface only.
