Delightful architect-designed modern facilities in a semi-rustic, peaceful setting; charming "traditional" ambience, complemented by friendly and efficient staff, wonderful food and music.
The meals were lovely. The receptionist was a little disoganised.
Quaint hotel, great view, excellent location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The outside of the building was being painted, and there were paint specks on the front of our car when we were leaving.
Hotel has a nice big bar on the ground floor, which was very much alive at night. Reception staff was nice, breakfast staff not so much. A big warning letter in the room, that we will have to pay 50 EUR if we soil it, was off-putting. Random shower curtain forgotten in the hallway was there for two days.
Ard Einne is in a lovely situation with beautiful views and very quiet. Clodagh and the other staff were charming and helpful. The breakfast was very good indeed. The heating is put on in the evening if it is needed. It is a little bit out of town but Clodagh will always try to organize a lift. We enjoyed it very much!
The homely atmosphere of the hotel and the fact that Carna Bay was not a real tourist town No
have stayed several times always find it relaxing and very welcoming no
excellent food,friendly staff,very relaxing
Pleasent and welcoming staff and good standard of food available. At the present time €100 euro for a standard double room is above average.
Was made feel really at home, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Food excellent.

the service level of the owner and the employees is very good; the hotel infrastructure reflects recent investments, nevertheless the rooms are cosy and old-fashioned style, the site is in roughly equal distance to Kylemore Abbey, Cleggan, Clifden, (air)port to the Aran Islands, Galway (on the way Glengowla mine and Aughnanure castle) => just perfect in Connemara you have to accept the remoteness of Carna Bay itself (it's more a '+' than a '-')
It is a very friendly hotel staff are very helpful, food is very good they seemed to cater for our needs sa we were staying for five nights we were given a larger room so we were pleased all round. the alochol was a bit expensive .
I could bring my dog into the common areas of the hotel The breakfast and it not served in the main dining room.
