Pros: Lovely bed and breakfast experience off the beaten path in Maine. Within walking distance of the picturesque Clary Lake and short drive from Maine's beautiful coast. The continental breakfast was refreshing and filling with blueberries fresh from the garden and warm homemade muffins. Our hosts Linda and Rick were friendly, helpful, and welcoming!
Pros: The accommodations were very nice

When you stay at Blueberry Fields Bed and Breakfast in Washington, you'll be 9 minutes by car from Damariscotta Lake. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was so clean. My wife has unusual senses for smell and she said all she could smell was the "smell of new wood" even though the building was eight years old.
Cons: Couldn't find anything I did not like.
Pros: Clyde and Debbie were so warm and friendly. The setting was so peaceful, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. A very special B&B for sure! Carolle-Ann
Pros: Everything was excellant and perfect.
Pros: Deb is the best! Blueberry coffee cake is the best!!!!! Definitely will be back!!
Pros: Comfortable; immaculate; excellent food; great hospitality!
Cons: No negative comments.
Pros: The house and grounds were beautiful. large porch to sit and watch the hummingbirds, wild turkeys and cows in the distance. breakfast was fantastic, fresh muffins with your coffee while you wait for your made-to-order breakfast. fresh baked cookies always available! tourist attractions and coastal towns are within easy reach as well.
Cons: The sounds of our voices seemed to be amplified in the main greatroom and on the porch, so we needed to take extra care in being a little quieter. the weather was fantastic however, so all the windows were open as well. (small price to pay for great weather!)
Pros: Very quiet and comfortable. Food was great too! Washington, ME is easy to get to but seems very remote. The stars were unbelievable with no light pollution to interfere. The Inn sits directly in front of a blueberry field as the name infers and the blueberry's we're ready for picking! We'd go back.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: Wonderful place. Very nice hosts, felt like home. The property was beautiful. Have to thank Cyd again for getting me out of a hole with my boat and trailer, poor judgement on my part navigating the entrance. You must get some of Debs blueberry jam and maple syrup.
Pros: Everything from the food to the room and the owners was great.
With a stay at Le Vatout in Waldoboro, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Damariscotta Lake and Frances Perkins Center. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Domenick and Linda are the most perfect hostesses, very friendly and knowledgeable about things to see and places to go in the area.
Cons: The decaf coffee tasted weird — sort of metallic. Could be because it was brand New and we were the first ever to use it.
Pros: I loved everything about this B&B. If you are looking for same old hotel room, with tv this is not your place. This place has history, personality, incredible food, amazing people, labryths of endless gardens, intellectual conversations, local used foods, and food grown right out back. I cannot say enough about this place. Dominika is an amazing cook, historian of maine, great stories, teach all about organic gardening, and never tries of helping people find exact places, events etc..to help people make the most of their stay. The house has an old beauty that only is found in Maine. Once inside you can feel its warmth, like your at home,it just has you looking at the endless nicnacs, shells, plants, herbs, books,on and on the stuff flows. You never get tired of venturing all over this lovely house to see all its uniqueness. But it doesn't end here. Once you step outside those amazing doors you encounter a one of a kind garden. You will find food, herbs, sunflowers, hastas that are 40 yrs old, black dahlias, omg every type of lily, evergreens, and flowers I've never seen and flowers you will fall in love with. The flower garden is a labryth of trails you follow lined with trees, flowers, butterflies, birds, bees an endless flow that you never know what's at the end. I found tables, firepits, greenhouses, hammocks, lounge chairs, and a one of a kind tree house with an extraordinary view of the gardens and overlooking valley. We got lost for 2 hours in this amazing garden. We also found Linda hidden at the end of one of these trails. She is a library of intellect, history, flowers etc.. I'm not going to reveal all about these amazing ladies cause I want you to find out for yourselves. Once done with the garden we entered the kitchen to meet people from Germany,Texas, Kentucky. Along with incredible smells of food, fresh made jams, jellies, gravies, tea, coffee. The conversations are never ending.
Cons: Our only thing was next time we are getting the room with the bathroom but it's our own fault for booking last minute in the high tourist season. Didnt get to stay longer.
Pros: The house and grounds were really interesting and Danica the host was warm and friendly.
Pros: Ambiance and owners were great. Beautiful flower gardens and places to "chill" behind the house as well. Especially enjoyed the company of the very friendly dog and cat. Will return.
