Pros: All....host & staff are perfect, fresh air, food...
Pros: Swimming pool area is very nice. Great views and locations to discover the wine area and villages around.
Pros: Beautiful garden setting, lovely staff. Dinner was typical Cretan cuisine, very reasonable price. Room very well equipped. Even had an iron!!!
Cons: Pillows not very comfortable. No fly wire on windows despite lots of mosquitoes so could not leave windows open overnight. Aircon did not seem to be working... too early in the season??? Consequently room too warm overnight.
Pros: Great pool, super friendly staff, very comfortable app, delicious breakfast. Short drive to Archanes village.
Cons: Location close to higway.
Pros: Or was fanrastix!
Pros: Delicious breakfasts were provided every morning. We especially enjoyed the omelettes! In addition, the staff were welcoming and most helpful bringing us extra supplies.
Cons: The hot water in the bath was not always reliable.

Pros: Perfect place! Very kind crew! We will visit for sure again!
Pros: Great Breakfust, nice staff
Cons: The Gym was not good, most machines did not work and it was very small and basic stuff were missing. The inside pool was too cold and shopuld have been open longe3r than 19pm.
Pros: The extremely nice and friendly staff and amazing food!! All the services provided!! Loved staying there and would highly recommend it!
Cons: The cleanliness of the bedrooms.
Pros: The food was the only let down
Pros: Very good facilities - we enjoyed the pool and the beach access. The restaurants were also incredibly good and reasonably priced - the staff working at the Greek and Italian restaurants in particular were lovely.
Cons: I found that there were never enough people working at reception, which made it frustrating when we had to wait for over 20mins for a brief question. The staff in the breakfast area were also quite rude - they were more obsessed with clearing tables than actually noticing that we had left stuff at our table to go and get more food. We were not particularly impressed to come back to find another couple sitting there. We were also supposed to get a free 15min massage but were unable to do so as no one was there to actually help us book.
Pros: The place is very nice. It has everything you need for a good vacation: Sun, sea, amazing food, bar, garden. Very welcoming staff. The food is so great! The beds were comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.
Cons: A lot of families with kids there, so if you want a quiet and romantic time spend with your partner it is not quite a place for you in this occasion.
Pros: The food here was pretty good. The pool was nice and deep. Our room was huge.
Cons: We booked a day at the spa and were forced to cancel with plenty of notice. The spa clerk began berating us about how bad it is for them that we cancelled. She then proceeded to yell at us and accused us of not having enough money for the spa. (We had already paid...) I brought this matter to the front desk and they did not care. That is not the mentality of a 5 star hotel. Then again, I don’t believe that this is a true 5 star. I would say it rates at a solid 4 star. Most definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here due to the attitude of the staff.

Cons: Rooms were rather small
Cons: Air conditioning was noisy

Pros: Staff were very attended
Cons: The transparent shower cubicle
Pros: The staff were exceptional. The location is perfect for exploring Heraklion on foot. Breakfast was excellent - a good selection of foods.
Cons: The rooms need some tlc. The flooring in the bedroom and bathroom needs replacing. The shower floor and the wash basin also need replacing. Better duvets would also be good. No body lotion which is highly unusual, especially for a 5* hotel.
Pros: Room was good quality
Cons: Breakfast room was not particularly attractive
Pros: This is an excellent hotel in a very convenient location for sight-seeing. Everything is nearby and close to the waterfront. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: A bit pricey bu you would probably expect that for a five-star hotel.
Pros: Everything. Breakfast was especially good. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Nothing negative. A bit pricey but that is what you expect for a five star hotel.
Pros: View is ok
Cons: Some things in the room is broken. No free water, only water from minibar. For 5* hotel it's funny. The breakfast not so good, small variations.
Pros: Closeness to the Heraklio Archaeological Museum, very clean and efficient rooms, super friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: There were no complimentary drinking water so you must purchase mineral water from the minibar. Is this standard in Crete?
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: Nothing. All good
Pros: Breakfast , and room comfortness and cleanliness
Cons: Room design and pool. The view ...
Pros: Good location - easy to reach from the national road and airport very close to the heart of the city. Very clean. Large shower. Private parking, but very limited.
Cons: This was a very dissapointing stay for us. I would say this is a good 4* hotel, definitely not 5*. Overpriced for what you get. Pools closed in december, you could not even go to the rooftop for views. The bathroom was really bad and small - it had no door. Slow wifi. Breakfast was very dissapointing. Food waas evry average and the person who was supposed to make eggs to order was never there (we stayed 5 nights). Coffee was made to order but some mornings it was jsut terrible. Noisy - you can hear the airport in the harbour view rooms.

Pros: Everything Especially delicious breakfast
Cons: Noise from nearby restaurant
Pros: Very good location, clean room and friendly staff
Cons: We requested room with double bed. We received an email confirming the request. When we arrived we found out that the room had 2 single beds and was smaller from what we expected. Reception informed us before checking in that the room was upgraded but it was smaller than the one from our previous stay and without the large double bed.
Pros: very comfortable beds , the staffs were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Very noise location.
Pros: The convenience to town, Superb Breakfast. Easy parking.
Cons: Better lighting in the shower area, and more secure entrance from the street, anyone can come in and up lift to room.
Pros: Really good breakfast and the service was great
Cons: To much noise from the hideous bar/club / what ever it was, I couldn't sleep the first night and changed rooms after midnight. The receptionist did the best but he couldn't do anything for the next building noise. Next day we had an upgrade to a great quite room
A stay at GDM Megaron Historical Monument Hotel places you in the heart of Heraklion, within a 10-minute walk of Heraklion Port and Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was fine. Keep up good work !
Pros: Located across from the ferry terminal and nearby to some nice dining. The hotel is really modern and rooms are nicely done. The bed is very comfortable. Great shower and amenities. Breakfast is a buffet with make your own orange juice and option for omelettes to be made to order. Very good breakfast.
Cons: We just passed through Heraklion from Chania to get to Santorini. Did not stay there long but did not seem to be a vacation hotspot. Would prefer to not make my own orange juice.
Pros: Great service, nice room.
Cons: Noisy at times as located in the proximity of the airport. Then again so is almost all of Heraklion and the windows keep out most of the noise. The step up chair provided in front of the bathtub to climb in and use as a shower is a nice touch but I prefer a separate shower without the climbing exercise.
Pros: Loved the cookies at check in, amazing breakfast, confy bed and ammensties and modern decor. Fluffiest towels, robes and slippers! We only stayed for one night to be nearby the ferry (which we walked to)
Cons: The area didnt seem that safe - tons of grafitti and a few beggars, but We didnt feel threatened in any way.
Pros: a warm welcoming place I found here in the days of the corona lockdown on Crete. Hope to be back under better circumstances. Wonderful staff, reception and a BEAUTIFUL room.
Pros: Stellar quality of Breakfast, plenty of choices, located just 5 mins walking from city center, room was pretty clean, elegant and comfortable. Great for work purposes with comfortable office space. Bathroom was excellent as well, very clean and spacious.
Cons: Not the most spacious room ever used during travel for work. Considering that everything was of high standards I would expect a slightly better bed. Still very good but If I would rate everything else (atmosphere, design, breakfast, staff politeness, clean areas) with ten (10), I would rate the bed with eight (8)
Pros: Great welcome. Breakfast in room was great. Room excellent.
Pros: Enjoyed our stay here, just a shame that the pool wasn’t open, hadn’t realised that when we booked. No obvious air con or water in the small gym area. Staff are lovely, happy to help and extremely pleasant. Rooms were great, bed comfortable.
Pros: They say never go back,we should not have
Cons: There are better far mor guest friendly hotels to stay in when you go to hereklion More concerned with taking your money they keeping you happy You will only get 1 milk per person per day for your tea/coffee after that they will charge you(have to order from room service) They did refund money for milk but charged 3 euros to bring bottle of sprite to room ,cost more than the sprite ,never had anything like it ,when we complained just got a shrug of the shoulder!!! Unless you have pots and pots of money don’t go Also the air conditioning was total rubbish
Pros: Great service
Located in Malevizi, this beachfront property is in the entertainment district and within 3 mi (5 km) of Ammoudara Beach, Pankritio Stadium, and Theodoros Vardinogiannis Stadium. Hania Gate and Kapetan Mihalis Korakas are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Cons: the bathroom, comfort of the beds and smell of the entire place. The lighting in the hallways was dark. The bathrooms were extremely small and the photos highlighted were for the deluxe bungalows which was falsely advertising what to expect.
Pros: Modern eating area, very nice staff. Food was good
Cons: Bathroom smelled like sewer, we had to have the door closed. In the dinning area the “children’s “ corner only had fried food, didn’t have vegetables soup for kids and the soups they had during our stay (mushrooms and fish) were too salty. The pool bar food area closed at 5pm but if the food finished earlier, they wouldn’t refill it.
Pros: - The staff are brilliant. Not only are they some of the friendliest I’ve ever met, but they also seem to have a genuine enthusiasm for their jobs. - the food was really good. They always had such a great selection for every taste. - there’s a lot of options of things to do and activities. - the massage was really good! And I thought, decently priced. - the evening entertainment was always fun. They got some great acts and the resident performers were absolutely lovely, and very good to watch. We loved their Disney themed night!!
Cons: - The cocktails need a lot of work. I never thought you could get a Cuba Libre so wrong until I went to Agapi... - the room was very outdated. I felt like I was on a cruise ship in the 70s (and not in a cool stylish way...)
Pros: - nice staff - great location - nice hotel area - rich offer within all inclusive
Cons: - the choice of food practically did not change - water in the children's pool was too cold
Pros: We arrived at 2 in the morning, sandwiches and a bottle of water in our room. Charming atmosphere. Excellent abundant food. Friendly happy staff. And a Cat Cafe. All the essentials for a very happy, relaxing stay.
Cons: Bed was a little firm.
Pros: Amazing location Food very good Service very good
Cons: There is no room service 24/7 But anyway I received good service .

Pros: Friendly staff and a good location in town for our visit to Heraklion.
Pros: Excellent Hospitality
Cons: It is unacceptable not to have a shower curtain
Pros: Breakfast, quietness and location
Cons: The fitness room could be better.
Pros: The location is with walking distance of the port, bus station, and local attractions. The staff was helpful in arranging an extra night there, and they were helpful in every way.
Cons: The bed was not as soft as I need with a sore back, but the room had lots of extra pillows.
Pros: Lovely hotel in a great location to all amenities. Great staff. Clean and comfortable room.
Pros: Astoria Capsis is located in the heart of Heraklion near major sites and shopping opportunities. You can easily walk to a lot of archaeological sites like the former fortress docks & harbours. There are a lot places to eat and shopping close by.
Cons: No fitness center for exercise. There weren't a lot of choice for their breakfast. Can be noisy. My room had a noticeable sway for no apparent reason, possibly the foundation of the building was not stable.

Pros: Stay often. Always nice friendly staff. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Steps to the front door!
Pros: Perfect location and very nice personal - they were really friendly and helped us with any question we had. Huge breakfast buffet - everyone could choose from it!
Pros: Fantastic breakfast in panoramic terrace. Indoor parking nearby included.
Cons: Absolute value for money! Good location, great staff! Highly recommend.
Pros: Good location, value for money, less than 10 mins on foot away for the center, good breakfast with variety of choices. 2d time there, parking is not an issue, lots of eateries and coffee shops around. We'll be back again soon.
Pros: Always stay when in heraklo as I have done for past ten hears...what's there not to like?
Pros: Loved the powerful showers.
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Very good location, walking distance from the city center, bus and taxi station in front of the hotel. The room was very spacious with a very large (and confortable !) bed. The room is very quiet, when the window is closed you don't hear anything from the outside. All was very clean. Very friendly staff; we checked in quite early and managed to get our room ready in 10 minutes. As we were also leaving too early for breakfast they insisted on preparing for us a basket with fruits, sandwiches and drinks. Very good for the price compared to other hotels in Heraklion. We will definitely come back.
Pros: Ι liked everything! the food was so tasty and the staff really pleasant and helpfull! i would come back soon for much longer time!
Pros: the hotel was completely amazing! very warm welcomg! the staff always very helpfull and smiling! delicious food and big variety every time! room cleaned every day!
Pros: Breakfast (the food generally) was very good. Location was less so.
Cons: The bathroom facilities were rather poor and very outdated.
Pros: Outside and downstairs bars very good but rooms all need refurbishing and choice and quality of food was very poor.
Cons: Food very poor
Pros: Nice swimming pool and perfect location for kids near the beach & aquatic park. Bus available in front of the Hotel with line to Heraklion city and airport for less than 3 eur per person. Hotel is also good for single parents.
Cons: Warm drinks such as coffee , ice cream or cocktail are not incl. in the all inclusive package. The buffet menu is nice but not always adapted for children Hotel had many customers mainly from Russia and eastern countries so better to prepare some vocabulary if you plan to socialize a bit. TV room is too small (but I did not care).
Pros: The staff was very nice and very helpful, especially the receptionist! The amount of food you can eat is great and the quality is also quite good. You can easily eat more than you paid for the property. Very good and fast wireless internet!
Cons: The location is not ideal. You need to rent a car or maybe a scooter as the hotel is in a suburban area where not much to do besides eat, drink every few hours in your own hotel. Bad free drinks selection (worthless, junk) - the food is pretty good though. The bathroom has that sewage smell coming up which isn't too bad but not ideal.

Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. Planning an event in Gouves? This hotel features 8181 square feet (760 square meters) of event facilities. Pros: This is the definition for a resort that supplies anything you need. The food is great, the bar is also serving plenty of drinks and the beach & pool areas are amazing. Thank you for a weekend that we will never forget!
Pros: Great hotel with all what you need! The best food with a lot of variety, every time fresh and delicious. The rooms are very beautiful, big and clean (we had 3 rooms). The beach is wonderful with calm and crystal water. The staff is very friendly and nice. The WiFi runs very smoothly in all places. We checked in at 3.00 am and they waited for us with a delicious buffet and drinks. Also, we checked out at 5.00 am and they organized a great buffet. It was very beautiful and we enjoyed every second! Thank you very much for the best holiday and we will be back for sure!!
Cons: The animation team didn’t do anything to entertain guests. They had a program but unfortunately they did not respect it. It is very unfortunate since it’s a wonderful hotel with wonderful people.
Pros: We stayed in the annex building which was very modern and our room opened out onto the pool. The food was excellent and offered lots of variety. The pool and beach areas were clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Cons: We felt slightly ripped off with some of the spa prices - they were dramatically reduced the day after we purchased a treatment.
Pros: The staff were all so friendly, the food was tasty and plentiful. Even my husband, who eats mostly protein, had plenty of food to choose from. Sunrise and sunset was beautiful every day, and there were always beach chairs available.
Pros: Food and room very nice.
Cons: Bit noisy to have airport nearby hotel.
Pros: The staff were so nice and friendly at reception. They facilitated an early check in and on our last day were more than happy to let us have all inclusive all day if desired. All staff were friendly. The proximity to the beach was brilliant. It's a great little hotel.
Cons: The corridor was was dark during the day but that could have been due to an electric problem. The view and generator was bothersome.
Pros: Good place with all the amenities you would expect. Good place to relax.
Cons: The main hotel need a modernisation. Just a two stars hotel
With a stay at Blue Aegean Hotel & Suites in Gouves, you'll be in the entertainment district, a 5-minute walk from Ekklisia Agios Konstantinos and a 3-minute drive from Gouves Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: The crew was king, helpful, understanding and welcoming all the time. Adding to the fact that the food was good and versital and the location close to the beach, we couldn't ask for more (:
Cons: There were no nets on the doors and windows.
Pros: Comfortable stay, good location. Food good for A.I. Most staff were excellent but tall young barman had bit of an attitude issue at times.
Pros: I travel a lot and this was AWESOME for that money. We had all in. DELICIOUS FOOD since morning till night. Personal was very nice, they helped me with bus connection searching, baggage, parking of my quad, there was no problem with nothing - appreciate receptionist Despina oh my god she was superawesome. Really. About personal really best hotel I have ever met. Room was nice as you can see in the pictures. There are lot of shops and pubs, restaurants nearby. Two pretty beaches just next to the hotel (and others just 10 minutes of walk) or you can take bus or rent moto and go wherever you want like we did. I do recomend this hotel very much and I will come back I swear.
Cons: I liked it a lot as you can see but there are some little things which could be easily better for my next stay :-) We had apartment number 54 I think - just above sitting spot of hotel boss :-) - AC goes off if you open balcony door for few seconds.. ti would be good to set for example 5 minutes interval - Toilet seat does not stand vertically so you have to sit every time and its still falling on your back, omg :-) - When you go to balcony there is next balcony on the left and there is some spray left and rubbish from history - Too little rubish bin in the room - there is space for literally nothing - Blue/white bulbs in the room feel like hospital sometimes, warm bulbs are much more comfortable - Wooden ceiling is little bit dirty from the colour of walls, it would be good to clean it
Pros: The chef IS something to write home about!
Cons: Great staff and food. Wonderful beach right next to the property. Loved it!
Pros: Nice staff, especially waiters - super nice, friendly, always helping with smile! Good food (can't say healthy, but good), especially pizza, just amazing! There is a lot to choose from, you can always find something that will amaze you. Lots of desserts, including fruits, cakes and ice creams. Good coffee, I really liked it! The drinks like rum & coke also good, however each one had a different amount of alcohol in it. The wifi is accessible in most of the places. The entertainments were nice, during our 4 days stay we experienced two dance shows and a live concert, it was great to just sit and chill with a drink. Very nice all inclusive, lots of food and drinks, there is no way you are gonna be hungry there! Very comfortable beds!
Cons: Starting from the beginning, when we arrived the room was not ready yet. We were offered a lunch and still had to wait around one more hour. After that the lady showed us our room, the door was open. When we walked in we were disappointed. It looked like it was older than my grandma and didn't smell nice. We just left our things and went to the beach. When we came back the odor was killing (then I understood why the door was opened when we arrived)! It smelled terribly bad like MOLD, after a closer look we could see lots of mold in the bathroom, dead insects on the walls, dirty coach and curtains (with something that I guess was blood), DIRT EVERYWHERE. We even checked what we booked on booking.com, because it was unbelievable. We went to reception to complain, the lady didn't seem surprised or bothered. She wasn't even sure what mold is in the first place! Just told us to come in the morning. I couldn't sleep that night, it was so uncomfortable, the air conditioning was not working, the window was very small so very little of fresh air was coming in, with the feeling that some insects may come from underneath the bed. Terrible!!! The next day different lady at the reception kindly apologized and promised another room asap. We were moved to newly renovated room (the one we actually saw and booked on booking.com). There was less mold in the bathroom and air conditioning was working, the room itself looked cleaner than the previous one. Even though my boyfriend considers this stay pleasant, I wouldn't go there anymore. All that situation was nothing like relaxing holidays. Beside that, some general drawbacks: Overcrowded pool, with sunbeds "booked" with towels and other belonging by fatty Brits as early as 8 a.m. Freaking annoying! Food aiming at satisfy Brits, with all that fatty and unhealthy snacks, fries, bacon, "baked" potatoes drowning in oil, sausages, desserts with unreasonable amounts of sugar.
Pros: It was calm and nice
Cons: There was a little antisemitism from the reception
Pros: I liked that there was a more family oriented area of the resort and an area of the resort that was quieter and primarily without children. The coffee was really good and the maids were very sweet and did little extra things with the room that made me smile!
Cons: One of the bartenders was a bit abrasive and could brush up on his language and people skills.
Pros: The hotel looks good, and new. Staff was great
Cons: Our room was a bit hidden and slightly older (NOT OLD)than expected, but all in good and clean condition
Pros: The staff was very polite. The room was spacious we had nice garage and the food was great.
Located in Malevizi, Civitel Creta Beach is by the sea, within a 5-minute drive of Pankritio Stadium and Hania Gate. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff, the pool, the quiet in all the resort
Cons: There is no normal wifi in all rooms as writed Not close to city center, beach is not so clean and inviting.
Pros: We had a half board package , there was one night when the buffet was very good , the other nights and breakfast were not of a good quality ... coffee was barely drinkable
Cons: Beds were very uncomfortable , ...could be cleaner ... bathrooms very run down
Pros: Every thing was perfect for us, great food, lovely sea on your door step . Not crowded, long expanse of sandy beach which was clean. All staff bending over backwards for us. We will be back next year for longer!
Cons: absolutely nothing. any one who finds fault is a git!
Pros: Very taste food. Friendly staff. Good location...
Cons: Animation in the evenings was only 2 times per week. Poor wi-fi anywhere in the hotel area.
Pros: The location was superb. The bus is right in front of it so you can go anywhere from there if you want to. The food is awesome. Everything is delicious, lots of choice as well, both, food and drinks. Overall would definitely visit again.
Pros: Very polite, genuinely helpful and kind reception and restaurant staff
Pros: Very nicely located to beach and city
Cons: The bed needs to be softer
With a stay at Hotel Lena in Heraklion, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Heraklion Port and Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
Pros: Location of the hotel is very good for a short stay. The room is small but clean.
Cons: Because the room was small it was extremely hot so we used air-conditioning almost constantly.
Pros: - shower is clean - no foul smell - overall experience excellent !
Cons: - parking was a bit tough. Had to pay for parking.
Pros: Low cost stay close to the centre. Walked around plenty of food outlets. The room was clean, hot water in the shower. Added bonus of an extension lead and a kettle.
Pros: Excellent hospitality, location very central and quiet at the same time, very spacious room.
Cons: I would like a bigger size bedlinen that goes under the blanket.
Pros: We were exhausted when we arrived so the front desk let us choose between 2 different rooms to decide which would be the most quiet and comfortable. Very kind of him. Great location, quiet but still close to everything.
Pros: Room and breakfast were great, there is always someone on the reception and the hotel is placed just near the harbour, all that makes the stay very easy and comfortable.
Pros: Breakfast not too good
Located in Heraklion, Legacy Gastro Suites is a 3-minute walk from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 5 minutes by foot from Morosini Fountain. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Friendly staff and amazing rooms. The breakfast served in the room is amazing. Home away from home.
Cons: Room serves could be better.
Pros: Suite 402 had this room on 4th floor before love it will cone back very soon xxx
Pros: Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, good Location to explore Heraklion, parking besides the hotel for 5 euro per day.
Cons: From our point of view the floor in the room was not very clean, too noisy for us (due to traffic) as we like to sleep with open windows.
Pros: Great location, got everywhere by foot. Amazing breakfast, large selection. Very nice staff, pointed out activities on a map and suggested parking options. The room was large and came with a dining area. Many restaurants around the hotel. Right by a shopping street and a market. Right by a taxi station (across the street from the hotel, near the roundabout- no need to order taxi service ahead of time, cost us 12 euro to get to the airport).
Cons: *The room faces the street and we could hear everything from the room, every evening until 22:00 there were events and live music and it was difficult to rest. *Difficult to find parking near the hotel (paid 15 euro at a parking lot 800 meters away)
With a stay at Knossos Beach Bungalows Suites Resort & Spa in Gouves, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Crete Golf Club and Karteros Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, extensive, delicious and beautifully laid out. The best part of our stay overall.
Cons: The room was a little "tired" but definitely acceptable, nothing some paint and some new touches couldn't fix. We reported a defective phone.
Pros: Large private beach. Breakfast is very good. Staff super helpful and friendly. We love the beach pavilion, it's perfect!
Cons: The room that we have was little bit old. Everything is working but need to be renovated some day. There is renovated rooms also.
Pros: Beautiful setting right on the beach. Excellent staff. We were there in November so it was the low season. Good setting and only minutes away from the airport but away far enough. Many restaurants were closed but we had no trouble finding good Greek food close to the resort. The food at the resort was excellent.
Pros: The beach is beautiful and not crowded. The staff and the lady that serves at the Si La restaurant is lovely. Generally the rest of the kitchen staff are good people and work hard.
Cons: The room was dated and smelt of urine on the bed even after asking for the mattress to be changed. They need to renovate the rooms and buy new mattresses. We couldn't wait to leave and kept thinking of our lovely bed at home. The room was stuffy and smelt of damp even after spraying their room scents. Internet did not work. There was no hot water in the morning and sometimes at night. We couldn't wait to leave. This spoilt our holiday.
Pros: Relaxing and quiet, beach was beautiful and food was good.
Cons: Staff could be a little bit abrupt and rude, male waiters at the restaurant being loud and joking around at breakfast. And some of the staff at the beach were quite rude and would rather chat then tend to people that were waiting. Cleanliness also could be improved. There was an empty corona bottle in the wardrobe on arrival and dust.
Pros: Beautiful seaside, bungalow with beautiful view
Cons: Slightly musty smell in the room, minimal bathroom amenities soap/shampoo only.

Pros: Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and balcony view was fabulous. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay... amazing selection of Cretan and Mediterranean dishes! I’ll be thinking about that breakfast for a long time. Also cannot say enough nice things about the staff at this hotel. Everyone that we encountered went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed everything that Crete had to offer for the short time we were on the island. One of the front desk receptionists (apologies I did not get her name) arranged for a taxi to take us to nearby villages and Knossos for a day trip for a very fair price. We received excellent recommendations from the front desk staff throughout our stay and they were all extremely friendly and helpful. We rented a car one day and all we had to do was inform the hotel when we arrived and they had someone park our car for us... no extra fee for this service. An overall positive and pleasant experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Heraklion.
Cons: Just a few things for me personally that probably will not apply to all guests however I world have liked to have lotion as a part of the toiletries available. Also, the shower pressure was not strong enough for my standards.
Pros: Very nice and clean room!
Cons: The staff was rude.
Cons: The best with the best person
Pros: The location was fantastic. Close to the city center. The staff was exceptional and the reception was hospitable and informative. The breakfast provided was always plentiful. Highly recommend this hotel.
Pros: Cozy room, harbor view, balcony, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Cons: A bit self-consciously overdesigned
Cons: Few vegetarian options on the room service menu or for the breakfast, apart from bread and cold eggs. The toiletries and TV channels could have been better.
Cons: Poor variety of available drinks at the bar compered to the relevant list eg beers !!
Pros: Service was good. Free parking in downtown Heraklion!
Cons: Decor is strange. Towels we're old (but clean).
Pros: We were in Heraklion for a professional meeting. The Lato was lovely and located perfectly to walk 5 minutes to the venue and also to be tourists in the city. The room was well appointed though smallish. We had a balcony that overlooked the port and Venetian fortress - a beautiful view. We ate one evening at Herbs', the rooftop restaurant and it was lovely in every way. The food, the service and the view were wonderful. The hotel parked our car and saw to it for the duration of our visit, at no extra cost.
Cons: Everything was very nice and there was nothing unexpected.
With a stay at Olive Green Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Heraklion, steps from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 12 minutes by foot from Heraklion Port. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out.
Pros: Very nice hotel, environmentally friendly (evident bioclimatic solutions), clean, modern, practical, at in ideal location at the city center. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very kind and helpful. In the ground floor, there is very cosy all-day bar restaurant were locals enjoy their brunch, meal or cocktails. There is also a nice, cool square in front of it, with several cafes.
Cons: They charged me for late checkout despite the fact that I had also arrived late (on Friday at 22:00 and left on Sunday at 21:00). The shower, the toilet and the sink are located at different spots in the room and this seemed a bit awkward. However, someone could find it practical since it allows two people being served at the same time. Sometimes, although we closed the air-conditioning, it went on after a while. Perhaps there was a reason related with automation and energy efficiency but it would be nice if we were informed about it.
Pros: delicious and abundant breakfast. extremely helpful and friendly staff
Cons: appreciate the technology of the room, but often didn't work.
Pros: Great location and staff
Cons: No swimming pool :(
Pros: Large room with modern look and feel. Welcome pack included Raki and snacks. Reception area is nice and radiates luxury. Nice bar right next to reception area, which was open (often not in January in Crete).
Cons: Bathroom clean but did feel dated compared to room. Breakfast good but not exceptional. The shutters that protect the room and balcony from the intense sun in the summer do limit the view in wintertime.
Pros: Funky decor
Cons: Would have been nice to have been offered espresso at breakfast
Pros: The smart concept
Cons: No own parking
Cons: No balcony

Pros: It was very close to what we needed and to Public transport. Stella is amazing. What a lovely person to have at Hotel! Stella was a star! We liked Stella a lot! Enjoyed air con and the cat George. Loved our view. Loved the balcony.
Cons: Not cleaning our room. Poor giving us toilette paper, tea, cups, glasses. Curtains hung poorly. Poor breakfast. For a hotel to be open all year good service should be given in rooms and breakfast. Sorry
Pros: The breakfast was good and offered a good variety to choose from. The staff was friendly. The hotel is close to the beach and one particular restaurant really made our stay worth it. This is the "Nikoloudis" which has amazing local food for very affordable prices, great see view and very friendly staff.
Cons: I booked the first night as a separate booking (because the superior double room with see view was not available that day). This first night was cancelled the day before our holiday without warning and therefore we had to rebook something else in a panic. When we arrived at the hotel (the second night), the room we were given was not as described in the pictures, and it had a two single beds instead of a double bed which we specifically booked. We were offered to move to the room we actually booked but only the next day. The shower in the first room had mold and it was not appealing to use it at all. In the second room we got, there was still hair on the floor and the overall cleanliness was quite poor. The balcony door was broken and did not close (neighbors could theoretically come in via the balcony). We were promised that this would be fixed the next day but this was only fixed two days later. At least we were offered to use the safe for free (normally 2€/day) as a compensation. The walls are very thin and we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms. The cleaning was not done every day but I don't blame the cleaning lady as she is alone for 15 rooms or more and is clearly overworked. One day she had to prepare 10 rooms for new customers so did not clean ours. When it was serviced, the bed sheets were simply put on the bed, still folded and we had to make our bed ourselves. Moreover, all the towels we got were stained. I cannot understand how this hotel has such high grades even considering the good breakfast and nice garden and friendly staff. Quite a few other customers seemed to have complaints too.
Pros: The room, the food and the owners, staff, and the cleaness
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean room, well maintained. Beautiful bathroom with easy access to shower. Proximity to beach and shops. Great bar and restaurant below. Beautifully maintained garden and parking available. Too cool to use the pool when I was there but it looked very inviting.
Cons: Nothing it was all good.
Pros: The best cocktails!!
Pros: I’m impressed by the way they run this small Hotel, They truly love their Job, I never seen anything like it, Keep it up guys, All of You, even George, lol !!!
Cons: It’s hard to find a week spot, just because you’re overwhelmed by the great service, All this people do their chores, so well that if there’s something wrong, You just don’t notice!!!
Pros: We only stayed one night but it was if the staff had known us for a lot longer!

Pros: I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport
Pros: Comfortable and convenient for the airport.
Pros: Convenient airport hotel with everything needed at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, especially for winter with few guests.
Pros: We wanted a hotel that was located near the airport. It was very convenient. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The room was clean. Great value
Cons: The neighborhood was a bit hinky, as can be expected near an airport. Difficult to find decent food, especially if you didn't care to drive.
Pros: Pleasant receptionist. Very good breakfast. Good sized ,clean room. Good value
Cons: Thin walls and ,because it's so near the airport, people coming and going at strange times. Women with clacking high heels.
Pros: We wanted to stay one night en route to rethymon and the hotel met all expectations. 5 mins drive from airport and walkable to the old town if you are fit.
Pros: I liked that service was sooo sweet and caring.
Pros: Location. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Lovely staff.
Cons: Very little. Maybe that you have to go out to eat in winter but that's OK.
