Cons: food service (both in room and at the pool lunch) was slow, inaccurate and not as expected. although the food quality was very good.
Pros: Much better than the Ritz @ Laguna Nigel or Montage.
Pros: EVERYTHING was Amazing. The view, service, room service, amenities and the room was perferct
Cons: We loved everything
Pros: Beautiful resort! Loved our room. Food was amazing! Love the boutique on site.
Cons: Front desk was great. Had an early check in. Staff overall was very slow and not to experienced when it came to bellman and room service. Every time we called for something we sat on hold for a period of time. Then when we left the resort i couldn't see out of my car windows. I had hard water spots all over my beautiful clean mercedes. The sprinklers covered my car and when i asked the valet to help with windex they looked at me like I was crazy.
Pros: The place is awesome and we really enjoyed it
Cons: The place is 5stars but the service and the employees are 0 stare

Cons: The cleanliness. The room was not cleaned. The staff were poor and not many spokeEnglish. The room service was very slow. We waited over an hour for breakfast. Thefront of house staff were over-familiar.
Perched atop a seaside bluff, surrounded by panoramic views of the Pacific and the sandy shores of Salt Creek Beach below, The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel is a coastal haven of new experiences. Located halfway between LA and San Diego, along the coast of Dana Point, the resort awakens the senses with its vibrant beachfront locale and celebrated Five Diamond service. Sprawling shoreline vistas create awe-inspiring memories from the moment of arrival. Dine on Southern California coastal cuisine, explore your surfside surroundings on an eco-adventure, or soothe with a spa escape. The California coast is calling.
Pros: Great staff that are super friendly and accommodate your every need! The rooms are breathtaking! You can't beat the view from your bed! It's just exceptional when you can lay in bed and have a complete view of the ocean! I love hearing the the sounds of the waves splashing under the hotel through the night. It's quite beautiful. It's so easy to jump around back and forth from the room to the beach to the pool and jacuzzi. There is so much to do here. I am absolutely in love with this place! Also the bathtubs are great with jets that completely relax your muscles. I slept like a baby! The beds are super soft with satin sheets and pillow cases. I can't wait to come back soon!!! Real soon!
Pros: Hotel is directly on the beach, and I mean, at high tide, 15 feet from the surf. All rooms face the ocean. Romantic dining restaurant with views of the ocean. There are floodlights illuminating the surf so you can see the ocean while you dine. Below the restaurant is a very cool bar, also, directly on the beach. Excellent location as they say. The pool sundeck is nice and the valet service was good. pool was heated and there is a jacuzzi.
Cons: The property is older and they can charge the money because of their location. You wouldn't pay this amount if the property wasn't on the beach. Byzantine design and labyrinth of hallways makes for a confusing layout and difficult to get anywhere on the property. The pool is not a resort pool and is only the size and shape of something you would encounter at any discount chain motel. There is no separation of brats from the spa and pool so peace and quiet in those areas with your honey will be difficult.
Pros: Location, rooms.
Cons: Customer service could be better, we requested an early check in which they said was not a problem, we got there around 11am their regular check in is at 4:00pm, they told us our room wasn't ready yet but it would be ready soon. 4 hours later and still wasn't, they finally call us around 3:15pm to tell us that our room was ready, so we went to check in and when we said our name they told us it was a mistake that our room wasn't ready yet! So finally we check in at 3:50 pm, I guess still an early check in right? To top it off, when we received our bill, they charged us for a wrong service for almost $100 more! I don't know if we will be back.
Pros: The views
Cons: No air conditioning
Cons: Booked an ocean-front room. It was 1/2 level above the pool and walkway to rooms. No way you could leave the blinds open to enjoy the view without people staring in. Asked for another room and was told none available; this at 3:40 pm. There we still lots of people checking in later. I believe that because I did not book directly, I was not given priority on this and below.
And, arrived at 2:00 pm and told we could not check in until 4:00 pm. We were not offered a hospitality room and found later that they had them. When we did check in, were informed that check out was by noon. So, though rented a room for a day...it was really 20 hrs.
We were given a dining credit, but in no way made up for the room.
And then.....there was the non-operating elevator.
After staying at the hotel 20+ times in the past on business, I will not return.
Located in Laguna Beach, this beachfront hotel is in the city center, 1.1 mi (1.8 km) from Main Beach Park, and 3 mi (4.8 km) from 1,000 Steps Beach. Victoria Beach and Diver's Cove are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: wonderful facilities, large and comfortable villas, lots of activities
Cons: low water pressure and the hot water took a long time to warm up.
Pros: The location was great
Cons: We booked this hotel for one night, thought we'd have a calm, relaxing day by the pool and enjoy the ocean view. We didn't realize just how family oriented this hotel is. There were kids everywhere, running and screaming, not what we were looking for and certainly not what we paid for. We should have paid a little extra and gone across the street to pelican hill. Bit, once we have a family of our own, we'll know where to go.

Pros: Clean and friendly staff. Need in room upgrades on amenities and bathroom shower. Price point just above the value based on location and other luxury hotels.
Cons: Too crowded from the sport gym guests. Can't find a quite corner in public areas.parking fees are excessive.
Pros: Great service efficient, knowledgeable Valet. Jason at front desk, Friendly...quick Check In...great room with view! Helpful room service staff! Beautiful lobby with nice bar...and a overall feeling of health and well being throughout the hotel...something for the whole family!
Pros: It was clean and the staff was very professional. Plus for the Wi-Fi being included.
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: It's kid oriented.
Cons: Our room was not ready at check in, only to be told hours later we were being given a room with one king. If a room is booked for 4 people, why would you give them one king? Then we were given a rollaway, but told they were out of blankets. Are you kidding me? Had to order more towels and coffee. Then we ordered room service for breakfast, but were told they were out of just about everything we ordered. After having to visit or call the front desk multiple times during our stay, you would think they would have offered us something for all their apologies, but we were given no compensation. I don't think I have ever been so dissapointed in a place I spent over $200 a night on.

Pros: The front door man Mike was excellent, always had the best smile and attitude each time we went in and out. Our bell hops to and from the hotel were also wonderful. Our server at the lounge was also excellent and attentive. This location is perfect since it has easy access to dining, shops and the freeway. We will definitely be back!
Cons: No negatives
Pros: Location. Starbucks inside hotel. Great bath amenities.
Cons: There was one issue with the bedding upon arrival. Other than that, was a very nice experience.
Pros: Maids never knocked, great black out curtains
Had a 5 night stay and everything was perfect
Unless they wanted me to get a free stay ????
Pros: Just steps away from the Segerstrom Theatre and across the street from South Coast Plaza. Well kept, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room was very comfortable and quiet.
Cons: We enjoyed the entire experience. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Pros: I love the Area and the building and its surroundings
Pros: Loved that I was able to do early check in and was offered complimentary late check out. Enjoyed the elegant atmosphere. The heated pool was our favorite. Walking distance to dinner and to the mall to do some shopping.
Cons: Parking was a bit expensive $27.00 to be exact.
Pros: It was clean, upper scale, and was treated well.
Cons: The staff at Check in was not exactly accommodating to the people in line. The gentlemen behind the counter was having a conversation about non work related subjects with a guest, although claiming it to be hotel and check in related, while we stood in line for 15-20 minutes. For a 4 star hotel, the check in process was not that of a 4 star rating. The check in process is more of a 1 star.
Pros: Love the incentive to forgo Housekeeping daily in exchange $5 voucher.
Cons: Some aspects seemed a little dates (ie the elevator, room furniture).
Pros: We paid $158 per night plus taxes and $20 per night self parking. It was convenient, clean, and comfortable. Front door staff and housekeeping were helpful and friendly.

Pros: We come back regularly. The hotel is well appointed and the staff is very professional. Rooms are comfortable and view to ocean side over fashion island is super. Oak Grill Room on the deck for breakfast is a treat.
Pros: Very nice & comfortable rooms
Wonderful staff. Very helpful & personable
Cons: Nothing. All was good
Pros: Excellent customer service.
Cons: Everything was great!
Pros: The location was perfect close to shops, restaurant with easy access. The hotel rooms were very comfortable & roomy. The staff was excellent, exceeded any expectations.
Cons: My toilet had some trouble flushing but aside from that no problems.
Please do not print that for public use.
Pros: everything except the HOT, HOT, HOT weather.
Cons: could not get hotel room cool enough in face of heat wave (25 degrees above expected temperature).
Pros: Great location - right across from Fashion Island shopping center. Easy access to restaurants, movies, shopping. Staff was very courteous and friendly. This was my second stay here. I would come back.
Cons: I think the valet parking fee was too high. There wasn't any options provided to self parking. You had no choice but to pay $32 parking fee.

Cons: They are charging you for a bottle of red wine that is in your room. They tell you as they are giving you the key that it's included in the price - well we didn't drink the wine nor did we want to pay for it. It doesn't matter that if you don't want it - you are paying for it anyway, how ridiculous!
Cons: Heat didn't work. Charged $28 for parking without alerting us in advance. Room was completely standard of any hotel. Room service forgot our dressing, and the food was subpar
Pros: Great room on marina.
Cons: It took over an hour to check in. Hotel did not have my Kayak reservation right and I had to spend a lot of time on the phone getting it straight.
Also, make sure you get a room with a water view.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating at the front desk, restaurants, housekeeping, and pool. Room was big and it was nice getting bottled water every day. Food at the restaurant (lunch) was surprisingly good and sitting outside by the bay was enjoyable.
Cons: Overall, the facility was "tired" and is in need of renovations. Especially, the pool area lounges and chairs were old and stained. We prefer fitted sheets (which these were not) and carpets throughout the hotel (room, elevator, halls) need attention. We were told by one of the maintenance personnel who was in our room to fix a sliding shutter door, that the hotel was be remodeled within the next 3 months which is encouraging.
Location was somewhat of a catch-22. It was nice being on the harbor but you really couldn't walk anywhere to shop or eat. Must have car if you want to go anywhere off site. Overall, we had a good time.
Pros: Our room had such a great view of the bay. It was very relaxing and quiet. We kept the balcony doors open almost the whole time! The staff was very polite and accommodating whenever we asked for anything.
Cons: The first room we were put in, the shutters were broken and would not close for privacy. As soon as I called down, they had someone come up and move us 5 doors down within minutes. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Pros: Rooms are very nice with 4 star amenities. mix of families, locals and travelers
Cons: First night room was noisy due to being close to event space. They switched rooms for me next night with an upgrade and waved resort fee. Very professional and accommodating staff.

Pros: From the excellent staff to the well appointed rooms, we enjoyed our stay The check in was easy. The staff gave us excellent information about the hotel and area. The room was comfortable and the mini bar and selections were great. We enjoyed the cookie time The pool and spa were clean and easily assessible. The fire pit was warm with great music playing.
Pros: Great staff, comfortable rooms. A little noisy off of 101 but not too bad.
Pros: We only stayed one night but felt so comfortable the moment we walked in. You can park right in the hotel for only $15 a day and it is just a few steps into the hotel from the parking garage! There are only 36 rooms so it feels more comfortable then a large hotel. The rooms are so cute and fit the beach vibe. The staff are very nice and helpful. They had a bunch of great amenities like, milk and cookies at the end of the night, wine hour, a fire pit down by the pool to hang out by, and coffee/yogurt & granola in the morning. We will be coming back for a longer stay!
Pros: The staff is very friendly and accommodating
Cons: The housekeeping in the room was not very good. The robe was not hung up. The bathtub and basin did not drain very well. The room was a bit noisy from people sitting out by the pool. The air conditioning was very loud and not very effective. The room had a stale air from lack of circulation.
Pros: Awesome location, great value. The whole "surf hotel" vibe is well done. You can walk right into town along the beachfront promenade. As a added bonus, the hotel coffee is actually pretty good.
Pros: Wonderful location near Heisler Park and walk to town, beach, restaurants. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and happy. Loved being greeted so positively! Rooms were clean and luxurious - loved balcony for morning coffee. Truly wished we stayed longer.
Pros: The renovations really turned LB House into something special. Staff are great people. Location is amazing. Rooms are great. I grew up in Laguna Beach and often the hotels seem to assume that Laguna will "sell itself" and they don't have to put the effort in, but this hotel isn't like that.
Cons: Nothing I don't like about LB House. Place is sweet.
Pros: The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean
Cons: The tub needs to be replaced. It was old and looked like it seen better days.
Pros: Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was big and gorgeous, the pool and amenities were lovely, and the staff was very warm. The homemade milk and cookies at night and yogurt and granola in the morning sealed the deal. We missed the wine hour but I'm sure it was lovely. For a birthday getaway, this place was wonderful. We would definitely come back again! Thank you!
Pros: The Laguna Beach House was recently renovated by new owners, so everything was very clean, white and bright, with excellent beach décor, comfortable beds and a hip vibe. The people at the front desk were so kind and helpful, making restaurant suggestions and offering to make reservations. They even offer an umbrella, towels and chairs to take down to the beach a short 5 minute walk away. We will be back!
Cons: Nothing. Stay was fantastic.
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff upgraded my teenage son and I to 2 queen beds (only 1 King was available online when I booked). The rooms were lovely and clean, very comfy beds. Located walking distance to beach. Great pool, hot tub, fire pit for evening/afternoon use. Had a great time.
Cons: Had a downstairs room and the ceiling/floor above was very squeaky so when occupants above moved around you could hear every step...difficult to sleep through.
Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff! No microwave in the room but the staff was able to heat something for me. I love their bed and pillows. I haven't slept that well in months! Thank you!
Cons: The price of the room did not include parking. No breakfast options available besides coffee. Plus I incurred several road tolls traveling to and from the location because there was only one way to get there.
Chic coastal décor and vintage furniture create the look and feel of an open, airy beach cottage with a palette of natural, warm colors with vibrant pops. Our convenient location is within a short walking distance to Main Beach and downtown Laguna Beach. Personalized service and attention to detail provide for the ultimate Laguna Beach Resort getaway. Beginning with coffee at daybreak, a complimentary nightly wine hour at sunset to cookies and milk before bedtime, guests of Laguna Beach House are treated to all the comforts of home amidst the calming breeze of the Pacific Ocean.
Pros: The hotel is steps away from the beach, the cleanliness of the hotel, the staff were very pleasant.
Pros: Very close to the main area of town, close to the beach and shops. Friendly staff, quiet, jacuzzi tub was relaxing, basic continential breakfast, good 'beach' decor and atmosphere.
Cons: Rooms felt smaller than the photo, floors felt sandy when we arrived. Very busy in front of hotel with cars, people, traffic, being right across the street of beach-goers. Overall nice hotel
Pros: Near the beach
Cons: Very small room, very small bathroom. Unconforable bed. No windows
Newport Beach Hotel, A Four Sisters Inn puts you within a 10-minute drive of Huntington State Beach and Newport Pier. Rooms at this Art Deco bed & breakfast offer up nice touches like premium bedding, down comforters, and designer toiletries.
Pros: Good location. Even though you can see it right off the toll road, it we didn't notice any freeway noise.
Cons: Have stayed there many times but this time was not up to par. The noisy A/C smelled like mildew and was unable to make the room comfortable. We heard lots of noise from room above. Ordered room service and the food was not good. Disappointed.
Pros: I liked the fact the hotel had free parking and parking spots available which were not too far from the door into the hotel. Free breakfast was also a great option, but as I did not attend it, I cannot speak for the quality of the food.
Cons: The front desk staff was not friendly or attentive. When inside the rooms, it was very noisy. I could clearly hear vacuums, children running down the hall, and guests on the floor above in the morning when I was trying to sleep. There was also a bad smell
Pros: Cleanliness the Breakfast.
Cons: The deposit for incidentials.
Pros: VERY NICE AND CLEAN CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT WOULD LOVE TO STAY THERE AGAIN CLOSE TO MY GRANDSON DOCTORS
Pros: Stayed in Ayres Laguna Woods over the weekend and loved it! Had thought this would be a similar experience. Appreciate the adjoining rooms.
Cons: Staff attitude - felt like lesser service due to lesser price. Called twice before travel to confirm 2 beds/4 people. Arrived to no bedding for 2nd bed. When we received, it was stained and dirty. Toiletries missing. Pool at next property over.
Cons: I had booked two double beds but got one King. I was told for two double beds I had to pay extra $12.00 per night.
Pros: This hotel has a lot of options and amanatiesties including gym Spa study area and a full bar with dinner and breakfast
Cons: No, except the location was a little bit too far inland from Freeway 5 but that was not to be filled because it was next to the Beautiful lake
Pros: It was a nice new, clean hotel with a friendly staff, good food at the bar and grill, plus the breakfast in the morning was good. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The rooms were clean and comfortable, they had a lot of plugs for charging deviv
Cons: Not really, other than it was not real close to anything but sometimes that is a plus.
Pros: Good size suite. Nice breakfast. Delicious evening cookies. Great location for 241 freeway travel.
Pros: Wonderful hotel. This is our second stay in the last 6 months. Clean rooms, friendly staff and very good breakfast. Thank you!
Pros: This is an outstanding hotel -- highly recommended.
When visiting Mission Viejo, Ayres Hotel & Spa Mission Viejo is a great choice to consider. Guests can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or body scrubs, and Modjeksa Bar and Grill serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An outdoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like MP3 docks, designer toiletries, and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: The hotel was very lovely and recently redecorated, but...
Cons: By far THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE bed I've slept on in a hotel. Couldn't believe how horribly hard and springy the mattress was considering how nicely redone the room was. We tossed and turned all night and were sore and tired in the morning. I would've traded the nice paintings on the wall for a softer bed and good night sleep...I mean the whole reason for staying in a hotel is to sleep so it has to be good. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
Pros: We were only there for 1 night and we throughly enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the hotel; from the front entrance to our room. We loved the complimentary breakfast served in the morning. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Would do definitely go again. Price was also reasonable and we'll worth it.
Pros: room was setup in a unique way allowing 1 person to sleep and another to do work and/or watch TV without being disturbed - ice cold AC was great - toilet and shower were separated which was also nice - good size TV and channel selection - free HBO - easy access to room - plenty of available parking - close to major freeways
Cons: shower leaked all over the floor due to a bad seal on shower door

Pros: My first encounter was the best impression ever. I believe her name is Mika. She was outstanding and with a warm smile to boot. Very attentive to detail and she was prompt. Excellent job.
Pros: The room was great. The bed was super comfortable. Food at the restaurant was delicious and the servers were fun and friendly.
Cons: Not too happy that we had to pay for overnight parking- I feel there should have been some sort of compensation for this as a guest. Perhaps free breakfast?
Pros: Doubles Tree by Hilton Hotel Irvine meet all of our needs. The
staff is very courteous!!!
Cons: $19 charge per day for guest parking.
Pros: Could not enjoy anything because of the parking fee.
Cons: Mandatory $18 parking fee for all paying guests. What a trap. There is no excuse for a scam like that.
Pros: The lobby was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean.
Cons: My only negative comment would be that the carpert needed to be cleaned in the room. Everything else in the hotel was so clean that the dirty carpet in the room stood out. But this was very minor and should not deter anyone from staying here.
Pros: Very friendly check in. Location for shopping and business meeting was good. Parking fees were comped after reporting an issue with our room not being cleaned during one of the days of our stay.
Cons: Room had an odor. Room was not cleaned during one of the days as we were missed according to their schedule as a result of having our privacy sign on the door until about 10:00 am. When reported to the front desk, the room was cleaned and we were comped for our parking fees. Parking is $10.00 which we were fully aware of but we question why the extra charge. Our room was located right next to the elevator which we could hear continually. We did not ask for a room change but the next time we book a room that will be one of my requests to not be near an elevator.

Pros: The layout of the bathrooms and sleeping areas were very good for an extended stay. The bathroom had enough shelf space for toiletries, and the closet and dresser were sufficient for clothes. The layout of the living room and kitchen made it very comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom does need to have at least one addition towel rack. Hotels now ask that you hang your towel to dry rather than replace it each day - which is wonderful. However, there is no place to hang it... That is a problem. I decided to place my towel on a hanger and hang it in the doorway. Not the best, but it worked.
A few more pots would have been nice also. There were enough items for the microwave, but not the stove.
A small dish soap would be helpful as well so as not to run the dishwasher for a few items. I used a small bar of soap and a face cloth.

Pros: The staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great. The beds are comfortable. The place is generally quite cozy, as well as clean. The USB outlets are a nice modern touch.
Cons: Pretty much my only complaint is that the hotel is very close to the John Wayne Airport and you get woken up promptly at 7am by the first departing flights, which continue to make noise until around 11pm. Otherwise the hotel is nice and quiet.
Pros: Everything about the hotel was really really good. It is such a good value for the money. The beds were very comfortable the room was very clean and the staff was very friendly wouldn't hesitate to stay there again anytime.
Cons: I'm a Pastor and I asked for a 1pm checkout due to a wedding ceremony I was performing in Huntington Beach at 4pm. Initially I was told no problem. I called on Saturday morning to confirm and my request was denied. Staff did not apologize, offer any solutions and I was very disappointed.
Pros: liked the restaurant in the courtyard
Cons: There were large bugs in our bathroom -- unacceptable
Pros: The room was very large and very comfortable. The facilities were very clean and aesthetically pleasing, although I was unable to spend much time there due to a business conference I was attending. I read good things about the restaurant, however, was unable to check it out for the same reasons.
Cons: I was given the opportunity to check-in before noon and to request additional towels, both of which I selected. However, upon arrival I was told that I was unable to check-in early AND that, even if possible, it would cost an additional $40. Furthermore, I did not receive additional towels. So, my question became, why even offer these things if you're not going to provide them upon request.
Pros: I didn't like much. My experience was horrible here.
Cons: We were lied to by the staff. Due to their lies, we ended up stranded at the event we were attending. We booked this hotel specifically for the free shuttle, and even made sure of times and venue location that it would all work out. Well, it didn't and the customer service desk did NOTHING to resolve. What an awful experience! I will never stay there again!
Pros: I was a beautiful place to stay, clean and the staff was great. I would surely go back and stay longer for pleasure this time!!!!!
Pros: Reliable excellent service and accommodations! We are always impressed with our experience at Ayres!
Located in the heart of Orange County, guests will enjoy relaxing in pristine old-world comfort and modern conveniences complete with a fully equipped business center, 12,000 square feet of meeting/event space, and a modern fitness center. Complimentary amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi and parking.
Cons: Long wait for checking in and room availability; wifi did not work for our iPhones and computer. These devices worked in all hotels preceding this one.
Pros: The hotel is centrally located and six minutes from the airport, making it a great choice if you've an early morning departure or late night arrival. Our room was very quiet. The Marketplace was great for snacks and provided a good selection of tasty foods. The staff was friendly and the bed comfortable.
Cons: The parking fee of $22-24 per night seems excessive for a suburb like Irvine which is pretty much made of concrete, shopping malls and parking lots. The sink drain didn't work properly, one of my pet peeves in a hotel in any price category and unexpected in this type of hotel.
Cons: TOO LARGE THROUGHT IT WAS A BOUTIQU
Pros: Pool was great! Lots of space and fun games around the pool. Rooms were nice, good breakfast and fun bar/lounge
Cons: Music at the bar was so loud you couldn't hold a conversation. In addition the check-in attendant never told me details, such check-out time or that a continental breakfast was included ( I had to ask the next morning). They seemed rushed and ready for the next customer. Another issue was non-smoking on a designated non-smoking floor. I smelled smoke as I slept and saw butts on the carpet in the hallway. Lastly, breakfast was limited to toast, cold cereal, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs.
Cons: No room service
Weird shower stall that is made so its hard to reach handles
Pros: I had a problem with another room being extremely loud and disruptive,, the front desk and security took care of the situation, quickly. Also, the GM comped my valet charges...still not what I expected from a hotel like this.
Pros: I stayed a long weekend here with my friend and the lovely people at hotel Irvine really made us feel like welcome guests! From the complimentary bikes, to the Friday night movie on the lawn, to the friendly and delightful staff, every minute here was relaxing and stress-free. My friend has severe food allergies which the staff graciously and professionally worked arround for her. It really meant a lot to be able to enjoy my mini-vacation knowing that everything we needed was being taken care of. Thank you so much!
Pros: Good hotel, excellent location. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: The music in the lobby is a bit loud.
Pros: I liked the pool, room size, little market downstairs with reasonable prices, location to where I was going and the feel of the hotel. There is a mini refrigerator that you can fill up. I like the concept, instead of an overpriced minibar.
Cons: The front desk was confused as to when breakfast ended. (We were told 8am which is ridiculous, but it was actually 9:30.) we missed a few days due to thinking we missed it. The carpet and little features could be updated, but for the most part it was clean. We would stay again.
Pros: We loved our room with a view. Even though the hotel was busy with dance competition and softball teams, our room was quiet and service was great. We will definitely be back soon!
Pros: Loved the market place and the Dj at the bar in the evenings!

Flat-panel 42-inch televisions have premium satellite channels. Free WiFi. Pets up to 50 pounds are welcome, with some restrictions.
Pros: Friendly staff that always followed up to make sure that we were doing well. Dorothy was absolutely amazing! Love the remodel of the facility and would highly recommend.
Cons: Parking was not free but to be expected when your staying in the city.
Pros: Complimentary breakfast, snacks in the evening along with a two hour complimentary beer and mixed drink happy hour free for all. Complimentary shuttle to the very close airport. 7 miles from the beach a running trail about a mile from the hotel that goes all the way to the beach. Shuttle delivered me to my office within the 3 mile max radius. Staff helped with a mildly exceptional request of providing me with a screw driver from maintenance so I could repair my luggage. The key card opens doors with proximity so I could keep my key in my wallet and put my wallet next to the sensor.
Cons: I should have complained about the heat / air vent. Watching TV it was fine but going to bed it was just loud enough that I slept with a pillow on both sides of my head.
Oh and after the two hour happy hour the prices for drinks become a bit unreasonable an interesting strategy they have.
Pros: Great overall experience
Cons: Paying for parking
Cons: Could hear the service elevator from my room went until late at night and started early in the morning. Loud squeal and banging doors made it impossible to sleep. The front desk offered no help they said it should stop by 11:00 pm which it did not and they did not tell me it would start again at 6:00 am.
Pros: Nice, just recently renovated hotel rooms. Everything was in pristine condition. Comfortable beds, good breakfast (made to order eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal etc).
Cons: Housekeeping woke us up at 8:00 am. Not happy about that. Also pillows are not that good.
Pros: Nice hotel, good service, comfortable beds, great breakfast
Cons: Hotel is doing construction and they gave us a room directly under the floor they were working on. To their credit they did stop working at a reasonable time and did not start working till 9am.
Pros: Clean facilities, comfortable bed and free drinks
Cons: Expected larger suite for the high price. Few amenities close by
Pros: Most everything was perfect
Cons: We would have much preferred to be on the same floor as family we were with!!! We made reservations at least 2-3 weeks prior and requested 2 rooms together. Thankfully we were with young adult and 2 teenagers that could be on different floor but it was u settling and inconvenient
Pros: The staff was very helpful. Our truck did not fit in the parking garage so they made sure there was a spot for us in the short term parking lot for our whole stay. Very friendly helpful staff. Complementary breakfast was perfect way to start our day. Clean nice sized rooms.
The location of the hotel was close to everything! Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and balboa all 20-30 min away. Dinning and activities for the family only 7-10 min away. Great hotel!!
Pros: I mostly try and stay at Embassy Suites when I travel. This hotel was clean, friendly staff and great accommodations.
Cons: Parking at $15 dollars a day seems a little excessive. Other than the parking everything else was good.
Pros: The room was big! The pub area was a fun, breakfast and managers cocktail/snack time are always a plus. Gym was small, but worked for my needs.
Cons: Laundry facility was kind of janky, just one chair, maybe a TV or more than one chair or something would help.
Pros: The room was nice. Clean. Comfortable.
Cons: Parking is an extra $15 ridiculous. Room service dishes sat outside of rooms all day kinda gross. Maid service asked if we were gone yet way before check out kinda rude. 3 candy bars cost us $9 way too expensive

Pros: I have religiously stayed at this Laguna Cliff Marriott for close to 20 years . But on several occasions , this last trip was the worst , where your check out experience ruins the wonderful memories of the entire stay . Most customers would never come back , but the reason I keep coming back only to encounter check out nightmares .
For instance . I book my room there through Kyyack who send my reservation and payment on to Expedia , who email me my confirmation number and itenerary for my 2 nights.
Because of a flight councilation by AA.com I am forced to just move my 2 nights forward 1 day and notify both Expedia and the Laguna Cliff's , and they both confirm no problem no change in rates . So at check out my $159.00 all inclusive rate per night had changed a little less than $900 including my payment to Expedia for one night , and because the airlines had lost my luggage and my money and medicines and all my clothes I didn't have sufficient funds to pay the inflated rate and refused to allow me to pay by check even with my bank president on the phone garrateeing available funds . So I had told the manager I had $300 in cash for an emergency , to which she said use your emergency cash or don't leave the property . So I left with $25 dollars to get to San Jose to meet with Ebay and then back to LA for my flight home . I was able to sell my $1200 iPhone for $550 to enable me to have a place to sleep the next night , and in Silicon Valley $550 doesn't get you much of a room . AA.com still has not found my luggage with my billfold medicine , keep in mind I was just recovering for 2 complete hip replacements . So with no money to drive back to LA to turn my car into Hertz and fly home , I was forced to turn my car into Hertz at the San Francisco International Airport which changed my Hotwire rate of $10.95 per day for 6 days into an $895 dollar charge that included the payment I had already paid Hotwire for the entire week . Finally at AA.com's counter I explain I have no options , no money to drive back to LA to fly home and that I pleaded with her to change my ticket at no charge to fly back from San Francisco to home and she reluctantly agreed but only if I took the red eye . I explained I had not eating almost 2 days , she said do you want this deal take it or get out of my line and contact
AA.com/Customer Relationships .
Cons: Resort fee. Valet parking not answering phone. No alternative for overnight parking besides valet of $37/night. No free bottled water for Marriott silver member, nor included in resort fee. No refrigerator. No slippers.
Cons: Extra daily resort fee. No slippers or free bottled water for Marriott member. Valet parking not answering phone. Only valet parking available. Bathroom cabinetry old and worn out. Poor water pressure for shower.
Pros: Beautiful view, great amenities.
Cons: Mattress not as comfortable as you'd expect from a resort of this caliber.
Pros: The location was nice.
Cons: Don't book this room thinking you will be getting the price you see. It will be about $100 more a night than the listed price. There is an extra fee for everything. I am just waiting for the 2 weeks after checkout fee because I am sure it's coming.
Pros: It's a beautiful hotel perfect for weddings and events. I was very happy with the upgrade to an executive suite.
Cons: It's a first come first serve policy for free 2 hour bike rentals but I wish they had more than two smaller bikes out of the several bikes they had.
Pros: Thank you to Nicole at the front desk. Awesome Babymoon.
Pros: I like a customer service. Great service. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We will come back.
Pros: Very comfortable bed and bedding.
Cons: Bed and view of the harbor.
Pros: I enjoyed the hotel because the location is spectacular and dana harbor is nearby. This is a great weekend getaway because of the numerous shops and restaurants as well as activities that people could enjoy! I love the options of renting kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boarding. People can even go whale watching.
Cons: I wishes the pools were open later, at least till 10:00 pm ( to swim ). I also wish the trees in the park didn't block the view of the harbor, but I suspect that's a city thing. I just remember about 10 years ago a friend of mine married at the hotel. I remembered the spectacular view of the boats sailing in the background . The trees from lantern park block the view now.

Pros: The location was wonderful and they took us in last minute, which saved our trip! We had a nice room that was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: The hotel was nothing spectacular (no extras), more like an inn than an actual hotel.
Cons: Stuck in one of five rooms that are located on highway. All others look at ocean
Gardener starting clipping bushes in front of my room at 7am
Room was no better than motel 6.
Pros: I loved the location. The staff provided chairs, umbrellas, etc. For the beach. Loved the happy hour on the roof overlooking the ocean!
Pros: The guy who poured our wine was great! That's a great thing to have. The staff was great too
Pros: Friendly staff. Great location for town, beach, and roads. Excellent breakfast en suite.
Cons: Room was small. Rooms on 100 level kind of loud.
Pros: The staff went above & beyond to make our stay fabulous!!
Pros: It was a WONDERFUL place. Quaint. Warm, lovely pool. Sunset view, terrific walking/running path along oceanfront. We loved the "green" mindset too. Enjoyed the ambience of the lobby: pleasant morning jazz music as they offered free Starbucks.
And for the price...can't beat it all.
Cons: I would have liked a heads up on the $29 a day parking fee. Most other hotels/Inns will give you that up front. The receptionist just asked if we had a car (I should have asked I guess), gave me a parking tag and it seemed easy. But we paid less in San Diego downtown to park at the Bristol where there was no parking to be had elsewhere.
Pros: Room was very comfortable. Perfect location and beautiful views
