10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely the best host ever. Extremely helpful and friendly and prepared homemade lemon muffins for breakfast. The place is very clean and well kept and is in a perfect location.
Cons: Only that we wish we could have spent more time there. There is nothing to complain about regarding the hosts or the facilities! They even saved us a parking spot right in front of the hotel!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel on the main street of the city. The breakfast was lovely. As we stayed during the off-season, we were the only guests:)
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had a very good location, in the center, short walk to the Castello aragonese. Even to the beach is it not far. The room was comfortable, beds nice, wifi worked good. The bathroom was nice also. Everything was clean and nice. Comfortable sitting on the terrace while breakfast. Signora was very nice and helpful.
Cons: It was not the hotel's fault of course, but because of the central location there was a lot of noise from the street and it was quite annoying at night when there was music coming from several different places around. One night there was no restaurant that played until 4 o'clock in the morning. Unfortunately all rooms on the other side were busy so we were able to change rooms only last night. It was nice then. So if you are going to book a room, do not ask the room toward the street.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location, really clean and helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were so welcomed here that we have returned another two nights

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were very nice. We felt there as part of the family. This accomodation is in very good location, all attractions are close. After our stay in Le Castella we were traveling to Tropea and our host took us to train station which was really helpful as we were traveling with two years old baby.
Cons: Everything was fantastic!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The mattress and the pillow were very comfortable. Our room had air con in bathroom and bedrooms. The staff at the property was very pleasant and polite.
Cons: You technically can't use electricity (for charging your phone for example) while staying outside of the room, unless you leave the room with lock doors open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room (big size), the bathroom (very big size, compared to other rooms I was in the past). The kindness of the owners (very friendly and helpful).
Cons: Nothing. The breakfast was good, but on a little less score with respect to the rest...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ilaria was a great host, she really does everything to help you and make sure you have a great stay! Highlight was when she and her sister took us to a festival in another village. Thank you for the experience!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a friendly and welcoming hostess who couldn't do enough for us. The is is a new building set in lovely grounds a 2-minute walk.from the local free beach and 3 minutes in the other direction to the town centre. Breakfast was served al fresco in the garden. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the bathroom spacious modern and light. Top marks all round. Wish I'd have stayed longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I recently spent two nights here at Le Castella B&B. After talking to other guests at the wedding I soon discovered I had booked the best accommodation in Le Castella. I absolutely agree. The place is brand new and modern. It is very clean, there is plenty of room and the beds are extremely comfortable. The shower has lots of water pressure, there is air conditioning and a tv. The B&B is in a great location with the beach at the end of the road (approx 2 mins away) and the shops, restaurants and bars only a little bit further than that (approx 3 mins). Very little English is spoken in Le Castella but Illaria and Valentino really went out of their way to make sure that I was having a good stay. I really appreciated that and their English is way better than my Italian! Each day I was provided with an enormous croissant and there were plenty of drinks that I could help myself to. As I was in Le Castella for a wedding I spent a lot of my time going out for breakfast, lunch, dinner with other wedding guests but I would have loved to have spent more time at their B&B relaxing in their hammock or having a meal in their great outdoor dining space. Thank you so much Ilaria and Valentino. I wish you every success with this venture.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff are very friendly ⁃ Complimentary upgrade on arrival (undisclosed initially) ⁃ The room was clean, modern and stylish with an outside seating area and bath as well as modern Bluetooth speakers to stream your own music ⁃ Molton Brown toiletries replaced most days ⁃ The bistro food is nice (when it turns up) especially the evening meal, desert and cocktails ⁃ The beach is a big positive. Large enough to accommodate guests, free loungers, parasols and towels, very close to the bistro/pool and with hammocks in the sea. ⁃ The pool/bar/bistro area is very attractive
Cons: The hotel is situated in amongst a busy Italian holiday resort not a tranquil setting ⁃ No clear signage to reception resulting in getting lost upon arrival - if you are walking from the pool back to reception it is signposted but why would you be approaching from that side first time? ⁃ There are insufficient parking spaces provided: ~6 spaces for many more rooms so it’s a total lottery where you park outside ⁃ In all of the newest block of rooms the showers flood meaning you need to use towels to trap yourself into the cubicle to make it watertight. It took over a day before any member of staff was honest about this and admitted the problem stems back to the architects ⁃ Restaurant service is highly inconsistent at the bistro with lots of mistakes being made including: ham cooked in a vegetarian omelette; pots of tea with no tea bag; drinks arriving with a 15 minute delay; staff completely ignoring you and clearing other tables whilst you and many others are waiting for service; 2 salt and pepper sellers for 20 tables; inconsistent process for signing the bill at the table or walking to the bar; food supplies at breakfast such as pastries and fruit running out over and hour before the end of breakfast and not being replenished ⁃ On the first night the beachside restaurant was open but only offered fish or meat grill. They offered no vegetarian options and the bistro was shut meaning either don’t eat, leave the hotel or visit the Michelin star restaurant and foot the bill ⁃ Settling the bill was challenging due to language barriers. The hotel was unable to provide change when paying in Euro notes. Additionally, when checking if breakfast would be available for a 07.15 departure we were informed that it doesn’t start until 07.30. No alternative arrangements were offered.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The Bistro Staff, Claudio very personable, friendly, helpful, fun and breakfast. Other staff members Emilio, Marko were also friendly. The beach is a plus for this property, and the fact that the lounge chairs and umbrella's were part of the offering on the private beach. Our room 111 was the closest to the beach.
Cons: Upon check in around 10:00 pm, we were a bit tired after our flight, and we actually got a bit turned around, got lost, even with the navigator we rented with the car. Very difficult to find the resort in the night/darkness. Upon check in, we were guided through a tour of the resort, perhaps this could be done in the morning for late arrivals. Perhaps being sensitive with late arrivals, invite back the next morning for orientation. There was no information in the room about the facilities, possibilities, other areas we could eat, check in/out times, general information would be helpful. The location is beautiful, fixed right in to a conglomeration of a mixed housing area. There could be bigger signs at the top of the road to direct guests to the resort. Our room which was 111, it did not look like all the other photos of the rooms on the web site. It was located behind the restaurant bistro, you could hear the fan exhaust system coming from the kitchen. Also, below our room felt like residents, and the feeling was separate from the resort. The bed was close to the wall, to get to the other side of the bed, you needed to walk sideways, or be very thin in volume. The cleaning was sometimes inconsistent, and the amenities for the shower bath area were sometimes refilled. The AC would not get colder than probably 71 degrees Fahrenheit, as it can be very hot and humid during July. Our stay was 9 nights, so there could be a little more variety in the food selection. We discovered the amazing Calabrian food available in the town 10 minutes away, La Castella, and how reasonable the prices were and how delicious the varieties of Italian and Mediterranean foods. We feel these things would enhance each guests stay, as not to be afraid to share other possibilities for eating. At check out, we had to wait about 30 minutes before being helped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful beach and wonderful Mitchelin star restaurant
Cons: No other dinner options so we had to drive to the local village which was fun but it would have been nice to have had another option of a more casual restaurant on site. Our shower leaked very badly during our stay which is apparently a design flaw with some of the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Room with outside courtyard was excellent. The Michelin starred restaurant was fantastic and the informal restaurant by the pool was great. The staff in both were extremely helpful and friendly.
Cons: The complex is surrounded with poor quality apartments in a run down state. The principle thing that spoiled the trip was the poor quality taxi they arranged for us at an exhorbitant price
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality was amazing- from the first moment till check out, we were treated like royalty. The room was very spacious and clean. The restaurant and facilities were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. This is truly a luxury getaway. Relaxing, personalized service that I can’t fault. The design of the hotel and rooms are amazing. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.
Cons: Nothing- only that we couldn’t stay longer! It’s expensive but worth it. Private beach! The Michelin Star restaurant on site is very good but not somewhere you would want to eat every night but they have two more casual restaurants as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible design - and even better service! I didn't want to leave. The rooms exceeded our expectations. Great facilities (beach, pool, restaurants). But above all the service was superb!
Cons: It was ALL great!

Pros: we've been to Villa Aurora 3 times, we've noticed an improvement in the breakfast choices, much appreciated. The home-made cakes are really good!!!! The staff has been caring, friendly and nice as usual. It's a very relaxing environment.
Cons: The soap in the bathroom. Bring your own shower gel and shampoo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is good. Price is okay.
Cons: nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: On arrival & walking through the gates, it had that country villa charm which was inviting which continued when entering the front door. The breakfast was simple but ample to start the day ahead with the cornetti being fresh & delicious. It was only a nights stay but would of liked to of stayed longer...maybe next time.
Cons: The room provided for a family of four was small & tight. No on site parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and answered any question we may have had. Room was very clean and they even cleaned it for us when we slept in quite late. Would stay there again anytime especially at the price they offered. Property is beautiful aswell highly reccomend.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Medium sized, modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nice room with balcony, big shower room. There is a bar, outside seating area. Lovely coffee. Good location because it’s set back a bit from the town but only a 5 minute walk into the fairly touristy, pretty town of Le Castella with many restaurants, beach, beautiful Arogonese Castle. Superb long stretches of white sandy beach are a short drive away.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a value for the money. It is just a short walk to the main street and attractions. Le Castella is a wonderful area and we enjoyed every moment there; our family own two villas and we are looking forward to more frequent returns to Le Castella
Cons: Since the main street is closed to vehicle traffic to accommodate pedestrian traffic the Government of Le Castella needs to improve the lighting, walkways and area leading from hotels to main street. Part of a vacation is leaving the vehicle behind, we walked nightly to the main street and attractions but were apprehensive walking back to the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and it was close to the city center.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners very polite and friendly, excellent position of the hotel for relaxation, perfect beach, very clean
Cons: I bit far from shops and restaurants
7.9 Good
Pros: The view with pool and terrace is lovely. Place was clean, room cleaned every day, but not really sure if it´s worth the money. For half of the price you can get in Crotone whole apartment.
Cons: Nobody spoke any English, so hard to communicate. Breakfast was missing some eggs or ham, but otherwise good. What we really didn´t like, was intentionally holding our ID and passport. We had to be really persuasive to get them back after checkin (and next day again, so twice actually). Owners have no right to do that! One time, we had to travel to the city without our IDs, would be fun for sure, to be inspected by Italian Police and explain to them, why we dont have any ID...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful view on the sea - unbelievable. Very pleasant owner and staff working there. Very calm. Goo gor your relax! Price is a bit too high, could be just a bit lower.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Incredible location in front of one of the best beach of the entire Calabria region.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing position in a natural maritime park. 3 min walk to the sea by a nice step way. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner home made with amazing fish. Once you arrived there you have everything you might need. Also the family based hosting make everything so great.
Cons: Messy living room and kitchen maybe? But nothing you have to worry about.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The beach it’s amazing and the breakfast really good!
Cons: The person who made us the check in was really inconvenient! Even they accept check out until midnight and we inform and arrived at 23 on time , it was a bad experience !

Pros: Excellent location - only 10 minutes walk to the town, castle and beach. If you decide to drive into town there is plenty of parking available at no cost. Excellent under cover parking on the property. The owners of the hotel were so friendly and helpful, even with our lack of knowledge of the Italian language. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: We instantly fell in love with the place. After Italy, South East Asia is our favourite place to visit and this accommodation gave us the best of both world. We had a fabulously practical kitchen with everything you could wish for, plenty hot water in a fabulous bathroom with walk in shower, fluffy towels, peace and quiet - occasional farm and airport noise but nothing to be concerned about. Balinese picture, statues, furniture and a reclining Buddha by the pool rounded off this wonderful place. It exceeded our expectations and only wish we could have stayed longer. If you are self catering, ensure you take everything you need as the closest supermarket is a little way off.
Cons: Sadly the wifi was a little bit hit and miss but we weren't there to spend our time on the internet, although I did have some work to do and G4 covered it. One or two things need addressing around the grounds but am sure they are in hand.
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet countryside location. Complete new rooms and facilities. Good restaurant. Very friendly host Francesco. Secured parking. Good air conditioning installation.
Cons: Not well-maintained pool & garden, messy. Only once a week change of towels (1 large and 1 small per person). No new towels received after asking for it. Stores/cities/sea side at least 15km by car. Very thin walls in the shared residence.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Self contained, spacious, secure parking and a good view of the countryside. Toiletries were lovely. Very quiet countryside location.
Cons: I had booked this place in order to use the wifi, but it was not working at all. I requested for it to be fixed, and after 3 requests they advised it would not be available. If you need it, check that WiFi is available here before you book! Cooking pots and pans are low quality. Breakfast supplied was the poorest we've had in Italy so far :-(

Cons: I cannot complain about anything for 20 Euros per person! But attention for those with disabilities: no elevator, and the property is on the third floor. Not an issue for us, but for someone may be
