Car rental at Limoges Bellegarde Airport

Finding your rental vehicle at the airport is as simple as can be. Once you've arrived, you'll make your way through customs, security and baggage claim before finally making your way to the Arrivals hall. At the Arrivals hall, you'll exit the airport building and walk directly across the road to the parking lot where you'll find the various car agencies. All you need to do then is find the company you made your booking with and get the process started.

Generally, to hire a vehicle in France, you will need to be at least 21 to drive a Mini or Economy class car. Cargo Vans require that you're 23 or older, while Compacts, Intermediates, Standards, 4x4 and SUVs require you to be at least 24. Please keep in mind that if you or any of your additional drivers are younger than 25, you may be subject to a surcharge for each driver that isn't 25. You will also need to have had a licence for at least one year before being able to rent a vehicle.

Before arriving, make sure you print out the confirmation email from KAYAK that has your reference details on it and keep it with you. At the car rental centre, you will need to produce a valid driving licence that you've held for a year or more, as well as a credit card with the same name used to make the booking, if you booked online. You will also be asked to provide proof of identity like a passport or ID document. In rare cases, you may be asked for proof of address, so keep this with you just in case.
