Pros: room was small but comfortable and clean. staff was very efficient.
Cons: steps up to each room door for the car would have been helpful when bringing things in and out. liked having a window to open but people sat right outside to smoke so we had to close it
Pros: Very clean, staff very good, room clean and modern with everything we needed. Great location for shopping and food.
Cons: Hard to get out of the driveway turning left , traffic wait can be long to make left hand turn.
Pros: Complimentary water bottles in fridge and air conditioning
Cons: bed had fleece sheets which were too warm for summer time
Pros: Super clean motel, way above 2 star, will stay there again
Pros: family owned, friendly and clean. The room we chose had two double beds and was larger with a patio door, with a bench to sit outside. We could not believe how comfortable the beds were .Walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
Cons: No ice machine.
Pros: The front desk was as good as people had written. We would return.
Pros: Location was central, close to amenities downtown and in the Kent St. business area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Television, microwave, coffee-maker available/workable. Quiet area.
Cons: I found the water for the shower/bath not as hot as I would like, but otherwise everything was very good.
Pros: Tiny rooms but well decorated and maintained inside.
Cons: Paper thin walls - could hear everything next door and from parking lot.
Set atop an expansive ridge, our heritage estate overlooks scenic Sturgeon Lake in the heart of the Trent-Severn Waterway. Towering pines shade an historic, square-timbered manor house. Loon calls echo in the morning air. Lakefront sunsets bring a warm glow to the dining room. Through careful design we blend heritage romance with contemporary luxury. Our premier spa, scenic golf course and fine dining ensure a memorable visit.
Cons: There was a lot of ants all over the bed and the floor
Not impressed with suite in adjoined building. You may have better luck with a room actually inside the hotel. Way to expensive for what you are getting. I paid xxx plus tax (total xxx) for one night. Their regular price was xxx plus tax. Definitely not even worth half of that.
Pros: It was only steps from the event I was attending
Cons: My room was in an adjoined building. Other guests were having their own tailgate parties outside of their rooms. TV didn't work. Furniture was really old. Door rug was disgusting. Carpet was stained. Curtaining only half hung.
Pros: The staff was very nice, The hotel was a DUMP... how this rates as a 2 star is beyond me.
Cons: The rooms are very small, there is extra charge for my dog. The room was poorly maintained , the walls in the bathroom were patched.Painted over wallpaper, you can see where it is lifting.Air conditioner is melting from baseboard heater a fire hazard!
Pros: Honestly- nothing.
Cons: I am horrified- the comforter had questionable stains on it, there was hair on the night table, the bathroom wall had brown drips on it, and the worst- the remnants of feces in the toilet, upon arrival. The continental breakfast had no fruit or juice.
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful and checked in to see if we had everything we needed. I had to upgrade as I did not understand that a double room did not mean two double beds. I had to pay a small increase for this but the staff were accommodating
The cleaning needs to be improved as there was dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The sink taps were also loose and need to be repaired. The supplies of towels were good. We did need an extra blanket for the bed as the one on the bed was just too thin and some extra pillows would of been nice too. We used some of our own stuff under the one pillow each to make them higher.
Pros: It's in town and close to visit family.
Cons: The smell of our room was no good, we aired it out by opening the window.
