It was by far the most affordable in the downtown area, so our expectations were not high, however the hotel was beautiful, with a great bar/restaurant and delicious food. Our suite was gorgeous, comfortable and beautifully appointed.
There was no guest services book in the room, and we couldn't get guest services on the phone...busy signal over & over. However when we called the hotel operator they hooked us up right away.
The lobby is very nice. The staff are generally friendly. The location was a short cab ride from the convention center.
Noisy; walls were paper thin. Bed was uncomfortable. Cockroach seen in hallway. Bathrooms were so dirty that I kept flip flops on in the shower.
this hotel was on the low end of decent hotels downtown, and had last minute availability. no ants in october, not even on upper floor. nice decor. great to be downtown, decent view, convenient to metro (4 blocks). staff was honest! mailed us a lost jacket with everything still in the pockets.
Room was not well stocked with coffee or towels. bed wasn't that comfortable: sagging mattress that seemed once firm with luxury padding. shower door did not close properly, which left pool of water on bathroom floor. no tub in our room. smart tv didn't work, just typical hotel cable channels, music channels did not work. dim halogen lights everywhere, especially in the bathroom where you'd expect bright lighting. lobby smelled like the perfume counter in a department store.
I loved the bed! It was extremely comfortable. There is a $50 incidental fee that is placed on your card upon check-in. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Donna (?) at the front desk even gave us a map of things that were within walking distance of the hotel and that was very helpful. Overall good stay.
You have to pay to use the Wi-Fi. The elevators were a bit sketchy, it seemed that they were struggling whenever we used them.
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
During our stay only one elevator worked. With the amount of people staying for the event down the street the wait time to use the elevator was about 10 minutes which I think is comepletely unacceptable. Fix your elevators!
Staff was nice and friendly with responsive service. The lobby was nice and rooms were clean.
Three of the four elevators were broken almost the entire duration of our stay. There were large groups of people waiting all the time to get into an elevator. Elevators were crowded all the time and stopped on every floor.
Loved the room - it's very well decorated, doesn't feel cheap or like they're phoning it in. The materials in the room feel solid and expensive. Fridge in the room is available to use rather than filled with expensive snacks - yay!
Valet service was slow and not up to speed with the level of service that the rest of the hotel exudes. Shower door design is crumby - every shower resulted in a puddle on the bathroom floor.
