Pros (+) I like the proximity to the subway and the modern design of furnishings and finishes.
Cons (-) I was disappointed by the view from the eighth floor east end, which overlooked the rooftop of the apartment building next door--and almost into the windows of the apartments. Also, the desk chair was too low because of broken springs, causing the cushion to sag.

Pros (+) The Commisary staff, environment, and food were amazing. The room itself was well designed and had amazing views. Valet was quick and attentive.
Cons (-) The elevators were slow and crowded. The brass handles in the shower were molded and rusty. The mattress was one of the worst I've slept on. The rooms were missing essentials like a coffee machine and toothpaste. I would have rather had both than the optional t-shirts for purchase.

Pros (+) Lived in K-town for 4 years and left 10 years ago. Even though area has changed a bit, love the area. Lots of GREAT restaurants, bars, nightlife. The hotel is trendy, urban and a great overall feel.
Cons (-) I wish they had specials more often.
