We were offered an upgrade at no cost then when we brought the car back, that information was not entered into the computer so the counter person tied to charge us more until the manager came and remembered that he gave us a free upgrade.4.8 Mediocre

Cons:
Insurance is a scam. I have coverage through my credit card however they claimed I needed to present WRITTEN evidence of coverage in Mexico or would have to pay for their insurance. This was never disclosed in advance via reservation or when I called Budget to confirm reservation and any special insurance requirements.2.0 Poor

Cons:
Having the vehicle I reserved. I reserved a SUV and when I arrived at 3:30 they only had 2 vehicles available (compacts) , I refused to accept either one and had to wait and hour for the next suitable vehicle a full size sedan to be returned, fueled and cleaned. Budget and I was lucky that I didn’t slice open the oil pan or dropped the transmission on the rutted and rocky dirt roads to my destination of Cerritos Beach north of Cabo. That office needs more inventory of vehicles with basic safety features like back up camera, blind spot warning or any sensors period not available on even their premium vehicles. Then replace some of the indifferent and drag-*ss employees who contributed to the hour long wait!Sixt

Cons:
Even though I already had an 11-day reservation and insurance covered by my own personal policy, they tried forcing me to either accept a $2000 deposit taken on my card or scam me into getting their insurance which was twice the amount per day of the rental itself. Given those choices, I refused the rental altogether and made alternate arrangements.2.0 Poor

Pros:
Price was good, staff was helpful. Car was clean. Mexico 3rd Party insurance was included. Able to decline CDW with credit card coverage as long as a hold was placed on credit card.Cons:
Make sure you fill out the paper to mark all dings, dents and scrapes on the car before taking the car.Payless

Long waits to get vehicle. We waited about an hour to get our vehicle and there were only 3 people in front of us. They attempted to charge us for a scratch on the vehicle but we took photos of all the original scratches.CarWiz
