Location is ideal. Been staying there for the last several years when visiting a client. Stayed for 4 nights. There was beoken glass in the parking lot the entire time. The carpets in the common areas filthy. The hallways smelled of cigarettes despite it being a smoke free hotel. The toilet handle was broken. Mold in the shower under the faucet & water diverter on the faucet in the shower was not working. Sad considering the rooms were remodeled recently.
Dirty sheets Broken vending machine Charged me again at the front desk despite my having prepaid thru priceline
Friendly staff. Although my room was dry, the hallways and rooms smelled from water damage,. The mattresses are old and need to be replaced. Otherwise the room is attractive and spacious enough.
Hot water, location Disgustingly dirty bedspreads and carpet, not remodeled like it said, bedbugs, uncomfortable mattresses, outdated electrical, too many plugs in the outlets, unfriendly check in staff, terrible decor, smelly, broken hair dryer, shower was a trickle, this hotel was totally disgusting, broken lamp.
walking distance to university and town.
This hotel is dog friendly centrally located. The rooms are standard for a two star hotel, so I wasn't surprised or disappointed in that sense. For me this place was hands down an unfortunate experience. First, they shouldn't advertise "free internet" because it doesn't reach all rooms. I wasn't able to get a connection ALL night. The work I needed to complete was on my Ipad and it doesn't have wifi, so that was a total bust. It also would have been nice if the clerk had told me the office would be closed at night. It was unfortunate that I locked myself out of my room at this place. Without a cell phone the only thing I could do is walk down to the corner store and beg to use their phone. The number listed was for a HJ in Hadley. There wasn't anyone free to come help me out, but Jamal offered to send a cab and put me up in their hotel for the night. Thanks Jamal!! Out of desperation (my dog's food and all my money was in my hotel) I scaled the wall and broke into my room. Yes, it was crazy easy to break into my own hotel room. Good news if you're a dumbass and lock yourself out, bad news if you don't want to get robbed or worse. This place is a two star hotel, so I wasn't expecting anything special.
Location and price. Staff was nice. All power cords were unplugged when we arrived: lights, TV, clock, coffee maker, everything!
This hotel is conveniently located near some decent food places. There was also relatively easy highway access. The biggest complaint was the noise level in the halls. 15 minutes of a woman screaming, up and down the hallway, banging on doors, threatening to fight someone... All this at 2 AM! The water in the shower barely drained, the key card to get into my room stopped working twice. Even though I had a reservation, I had to wait in the lobby 20 minutes while they found a clean room available. (it was Thanksgiving so the cleaning staff were off) In general, it was a very unpleasant stay.
