Nice location, walking distance to boardwalk, nice size kitchenette with Microwave, sink & fridge, clean looked like it had just been painted found some paint tape near the border, beds were okay not horrible, no bugs or anything yucky, staff is average, checked in & used key drop. Paid 112$, which was alot less for a clam festival weekend, other motels were 200+ online
The heater was very dry for air quality came home sick, and no pool or amenities. Also weird people around the area, one person walking a cat. Parking lot is very visible, no gate so cars could easily be broken into. Floor was loud I felt bad I had 2 kids so every step was loud.

The TV remote complicated and not user friendly. Hard to turn on and off or find right channels.
Quick walk to pier and boardwalk! Quiet hotel, super friendly front desk. We would stay again.
the location and parking
a little overpriced for what you received...however, it was the July 4th weekend
Staff was very friendly. Room had a comfy bed with 4 pillows, small but very clean bathroom, nice TV and a fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and smelled great.
There were a few stains on the chair and bed skirt. Location was a bit farther from the boardwalk than I though but that was my lack of knowledge about Santa Cruz. Still definitely in walking distance just up a hill and around a corner a bit.
The location is great! Just one block from the wharf and the beach. Parking available at the hotel so no need to pay for parking at the beach.
The parking lot of the hotel is on a steep hill. The hotel was older, but the bathrooms had newer tile.
I liked the location the best. It was so close to the beach and close to everything I wanted to do.
It was dirty. The lamp shades were stained and not straight. The drawers were broken and stained inside. The bathroom had someone else's hair in it. It was the dirtiest place I had ever stayed. I seriously thought I was going to end up sick after. I just wish they look the time to clean and replace things that clearly were stained. I wouldn't recommend this motel to a friend.
