It was convenient to shopping areas - close to motor way. Fitness room and pool were a joke - I would not even call it a fitness room. Air conditioning did not work unless you were in your room, so your room got hot all day then never cooled down at night.
Convenient location and friendly staff Too much heating so that room was always too warm. Sound proofing to Boadilla road is also very weak so that traffic wakes you up in the morning.
The room was a good size with a large bathroom. Things were basic and clean. I had many problems accessing the wireless internet, but they at least had a computer guests could use at no charge. The address information provided on the website could be better, including giving the name proper name of the hotel, "Hotel Majadahonda." The only upside to this problem is that they are the only hotel in the area, so it is fairly easy for someone to tell you where it is.
There was no hot water and after 6pm only one english speaking staff at the hotel
Breakfast Some of the staffmembers where not helpfull/ willing to solve a problem at first.
Convenient, clean, friendly staff. Air Conditioning not up to requirements-was never cool enough.
Nice quiet location with very friendly staff. Hotel appeared to have high standards. Very limited choice of menu especially as I am a vegetarian and the meals were the same as last year.
Nice hotel, comfortable room The room was quite noisy as it was facing the road; the taxi driver had some problems in finding the hotel as there are no indications or signs in Majadahonda
the entree is not very nice
value for money budget hotel in convenient location for shops, restaurants and transport. no internet facilities.
A very clean & well run establishment. Good location. Helpfull staff. Good price Local parking is a nightmare
its location in the heart of the town the complete and utter lack of the understanding of even basic english not even hello from reception
Very clean and functional rooms, friendly efficient staff and ideal location for our needs. Excellent value for money. No
Room was very comfortable and kept clean. Staff were able to comunicate fairly well in English as my Spanish is very limited. Very close to the Gran Via which would be good for visiting on other circunstances to mine. parking facilities
very helpful staff
close to shopping , nice neighborhood
I like the sympathy of the hotel staff and the to has a place to park the car in front The water was brown and sometimes there was a strange smell inside the room
Perfect location, quiet area as well as central.
Restaurant did not open for evening meals and no other restaurant within walking distance. Only food available was order a Telepizza for delivery to your room. Airconditioning in bedroom dripped water constantly and wash basin wiuld not drain Reported the faulto to reception.
The hotel was quiet. There were no loud parties. 1. For a foreign visitor like me, it would help if most of your front desk staff could speak English. sometimes it was difficult to communicate. 2. Nowadays most hotels provide wifi in each room free of charge. To have to pay for this, or to use a free system only in the lobby and breakfast room for 1/2 hour at a time is very inconvenient.
Free wi-fi. Quite difficult to find, not in walking distance from anything, no restaurant for dinner, bar not open for drinks in the evening, breakfast unacceptable.
The hotel has not enough light in the corridor. The breakfast is poor.
Clean, comfortable, english speaking staff, good restaurant A little out of the way
Noises coming from the toilet forced us to close the water line ourselves in order to get some sleep. Our room had an extra pull-out bed we hadn't asked for, and that took up much space. One look at their 'breakfast buffet' and we quickly headed out to get some food; expect very little from it.
Super quality rooms, made very welcome on arrival, excellent breakfast choice. Impersonal, poor service in bar/rest.
This is actually more than 4 star hotel (close to 5). It is excellent if you travel by car and want to go to Nothern part from Madrid (Segovia, Avila, El Escorial, Valle de Los Caidos). It is by the highway, and the parking is free.
We've got double which was actually kind of suite with 2 rooms and some spacious corners. Such room should be comfortable to stay for several days, visit Madrid getting it by train or by car. Place is convenient to rich from/to airport. Parking, internet are available.
everthing the hotel is very good indeed and we would not hesitate to recomend the hotel and we would love to stay there again it could only be improved by the addition of an outdoor seating / relaxation area
Nice large room. Friendly peoples. Free parking.Easy to find. Inside is the hotel nice and quiet. Not a nice location. To close to the highway(100 meter). You can smell it when you open the windows. You can hear the traffic off the busy highway during the night.
Easy to find if northbound on M50/A6 therefore good for overnight stop. Although my stay was on a fiesta day and the resturnt was closed the bar food and service was good. A comfortable stay and I would use this hotel again. Exit from the hotel during AM peak hour can be a problem.
100% happy No
Very convenient situation on A6 highway. Excellent room and nicely fitted What about adding a swimming pool ?
Very good and fast wireless internet connection. Even calling with Skype over the wireless was no problem at all (is a real problem in most hotels).
Very well located as a stopover going between southern Spain and Santander. Very clean and comfortable with a secure underground car park. Restaurant and mini bar rather expensive but more reasonable places to eat close by.
The price No free breakfast.
fixed breakfast, no weekend service for dinner
Staff very friendly & helpful location not easy to find & lack of directions from motorway . Did have a restaurant , but food not of particuarly good standard. Location was in a bit of a waste land , rooms not welcoming & too minimalistic - no shampoo/shower gels, towels very small & thin .No kettle in room which woudl be standard in o ther travel lodges branded hotels
New, clean, convenient to the factory outlets. The shower runs cold (zero hot water) for about 5 seconds every minute. This was shocking. The hotel staff could not figure out why this was so. We had to time it and get out of the shower ever 45 seconds to avoid the 5 seconds of freezing cold water. At least it happened in regular intervals. They really should fix this.
Friendly and helpfull service, appropriate standard of room, good price location 20 km from the city centre. Parking nearby but it can be difficult to find a free place when you come very late. Without a car there are some bus lines it's not complicated to go travel to Marid. However the way back can make some troubles.
It was basic but clean and friendly. There is no drink making facilities in the room
clean, comfortable accomodation no kettle in room. credit card charged in £s, although I asked for Euros.
The relationship price / quality The noise in the rooms
Comfortable but bed was creeky and a little lumpy. meals ok but basic, good value.
The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was exactly as shown on the web site. Very clean.
It is quite a new hotel so everything is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. The airconditioning was not cold enough, so not sure if it will be really effective on hot days. During my stay temp were mid 20's and I had to sleep au natural, without sheets to stay cool with the aircon on its coolest setting and fan full blast.
improving communication on english language could be beneficial.
Hotel is conveniently situated outside the city off the hiway making access to madrid city very easy.Stress free parking at the hotel unlike hotels in the city.
The hotel claimed to be 10 minutes from the centre, but in fact was much much further, and was literally in a dead area in the midde of nowhere. The bus stop was quite far as well, and the metro station was at least 2 km away. By taxi, it took 15 - 20 mins to arrive into the centre of town, and would cost about 13 to 15 euros, which all in all made our trip terribly inconvenient.
They had American shows on two channels. When I asked for a top ten list the receptionist wrote one out for me. It was a half mile from the metro stop so I always went back before 22:00. Not a bad area but no one was around. You had to buy to metro tickets into the city center.
Comfortable modern room with free wifi.
it was very clean, the breakfast was good, very quiet. A good hotel if you travel by car, no long to Madrid's center if you take the metro. No to much variation of the menu of restaurant
A quiet hotel which is nice if you're a business traveller and need to sleep at a reasonable time of night, helpful (English speaking) staff overall Wireless internet did not work, (though wired did), room quite small, no comfortable chair, muzak in hallways (although not audible from room) was a bit too much for my taste
The hotel is rather good if you stay for business, nothing is really luxurious, but it's comfortable and clean for a reasonnable price The shower either hot or cold, not intermediate
the only good thing was that the room was big first of all the staff were not proffesional. they did not know what are the events in madrit they were not communicated ..the room when we arrived was not clean the breakfast was extremelous poor and it was not for a 4star hotel.also even it is near metro this is not the undreground and you have to change 3 metro stations in order to go the center
Great price and parking. If you have a car it is the best place to stay around Madrid. Awesome breakfast for €5
the staff was very professional and friendly. I've liked everything!
Clean, good location next to station. Could do with another blanket in room. No fridge in room. No tea or coffee making facilities
I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent facilities, very good staff, friendly but the amenities of a large hotel No
I found the location very pleasant. The greeting was friendly and the rooms where comfortable. One thing that I would say is that as a business traveller it would be good to have an Iron and a Ironing Borad available! other than that the Hotel was very good. NA
Very comfortable bed. We did not want to get up! Room is extremely hot, we had to leave the window open.
The staff was very friendly & helpfull all the time. The breakfast open buffet was not reach. But still you can get additional dish (like omelet) with no extra charge.
Decent and friendly hotel room temperature controls are slow to respond to change
Peace and quite and, of course, comfort and cleanliness. Food good too. Professional and friendly staff. No
The staff were very friendly. The ffod was nice ' good selection for breakfast. Poor choice of english language TV channels - all you ever get in these hotels is BBC News and CNN.
Convenient for business meetings at the Parque Empresarial Room was too warm: I was unable to reduce the temperature other than by opening the window.
Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Rooms and common areas are sparkling clean, quiet and pleasant. Breakfast and internet service are a bit expensive. So is parking if you don't find space in the front. Hotel is hard to find.
The interior design of the hotel No tea making facilities in the room
Very spacious rooms, friendly and helpful (English speaking) staff Rooms can be very noisy, walls between rooms are very thin, rooms are fitted with stereo equipment which cannot be normally used if you do not want to disturb your neighbours, also phone conversations in the nextdoor room can be literally heard
Quite place - very simple. Very limited services - Wi-fi no longer free of charge in the rooms and only available in the lobby with password.
Very practical in order to reach the Escorial on the other day.
Location To noisy, and I did not like that it is between a gas station and a wedding salon.
I loved the mattress, it is very comfortable! Excellent to relax from a hard day at work! I don't like the elevator, it's a bit slow and takes a lot of time to open.
staff very helpful, good shopping and restaurants, half hour to airport all motorway and good food and price
The staff was very kind, the rooms are excellent and the hotel's location is perfect!
Friendly employees, particularly the night clerk, breakfast OK.
Good modern hotel, nice rooms, wifi in room worked well and good breakfast
There was no evening meal on the Saturday and nowhere to even get a drink there was no coffee or beer the cafeteria and restaurant was closed for the weekend and on returning home we found they had charged us 7 euros for a breakfast we did not have.
The location was very good for where I needed to go and had very easy access to down-town Madrid as well (at least during this time of the year) The breakfast could be improved.
We were a party of 50 people from Ireland in Madrid for a Wedding and our needs were not catered for regarding food and drink services The Hotel could have made more money from our party if services were provided at the weekends -also we could have done with a swimming pool as it was so hot during our stay - also the surrounding landscape would not be the most attractive sceanery to look at .Bussiness wise you should look at your weekend services if you want to make more money in this time of world recession. Yours sincerely Patricia Doyle We would all have liked to spend our last night at the Husa but on account of no evening meals or after drinks we had to take our business into the nearest town(Boadilla del Monte). You could have done with one extra Barperson for better service for a crowd of people like ourselves.Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Husa Madrid Hotel
Free internet access, cheap underground parking. Location isn't great, but metro access looked to be good (I didn't use it however).
Hotel facilities Relativly small room!
The cleanliness inside the hotel The air conditioner was a bit noisy, except for that everything was good
bathroom in the hotel The bar was not open throughout our stay and there were no shops nearby so we we're unable to get a drink (even a bottle water) or any food at the hotel. If they are not going to provide the bar/restaurant facilities they should at least have a vending machine.
The hotel was well placed in Pozuelo which was fine for where I was working. This is not a 4 star hotel - more like a 2/3 star. The rooms were very clean but the wireless was not a good signal in the room I stayed in.
The unhurried simplicity of the organisation and the proximity to our family who live within two miles. I found the breakfast coffee rather too strong and stewed. The fresh fruit could be a little more imaginative.
We choose this hotel because we visited a concert from Amaral in Pozuelo...
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The waiting staff were also friendly but struggled with English If was much more basic than I was expecting. The rooms were very basic and I found the bed uncomfortable
THe staff were very friendly The location, it was miles away from the city
Good staff and clean hotel Parking garage is very confusing and difficult to understand.
Friendly staff Too expencive breakfast for the buffet choice. Window opening not suitable to ventilate the room.
Very pleasant and attentive staff. Good location for A6 and Madrid ring roads. Good evening menu.
Relaxed atmosphere, close to El Pinar train station with easy access to Madrid city centre and nearby mountains. Close to Las Rosas and Madjahonda. Mint tea bags.
Very helpful friendly staff. Nice clean hotel Bit far from madrid city
Staff are friendly and welcoming Maintenance of room, bathroom is appalling for a new hotel. Management need to check rooms daily to fix. Our last experience of your so called buffet food gives Campanile a bad name. Fire the chef and the manager
Very helpful receptionist & barman. Comfortable room, good air conditioning, good bathroom facilities. Secure garage parking. Very poor & overpriced breakfast & inadequate breakfast staff.
Everything satisfactory for our needs . . . passing through by car to Southern Spain.
Well trained efficient staff, fair selection on restaurant menu. Very difficult to find, no facilities for smokers anywhere in the public areas, poor breakfast selection for price.
Lovely hotel, room a good size, tea and coffee making facilities, nice little bar and relaxing areas. Nice and modern hotel. Room was a double but we took two inflatable beds for the kids, easily fitted in room - bargain, would recommend. Internet connection poor, ok though in the lobby. The hotel is in a good position, if a little tricky to find - the Madrid road signs are the worst!
Good location, only 15 min on foot to city centre Breakfast too basic, poor choice of TV channels
Claimed to be an apartment but none of the facilities in kitchen(actually a cupboard!) worked. Not possible to prepare food.
Accomodations were very comfortable.
localization the front rooms are too noisy
location of the apartments is very convenient for sightseeing and shopping, the metro station where 3 lines cross is located near. Staff is very polite and ready to help but only in Spanish language. we've ordered a non-smoking room but there was an ash-tray in the room and the smell of smoking though the receptionist ensured us the room is non-smoking. Breakfasts consist of pastry only, no vegetables, fruits, cheese or ham. But as there is a cooking area in the room you can prepare breakfast you wish by yourself.
The central location, next to Alonso Martínez underground station, with immediate connection to Barajas Airport and to Madrid's city centre. The kindness of the afternoon and evening employess. The noisy Air Conditioning system. The rudeness of the morning receptionist. The lack of variety at Breakfast.
really good location, by walk to downtown anywhere, close to the metro station, great connection with airposrt, nice spacious rooms, great variety of TV channels (like most "aprende ingles TV chanel"), fridge, good price. Really recommend.! overpriced interned in lobby (1€/15min), poor breakfast,
The localization is really good, the prize and the breakfast included The clean of the room. The staff of the hotel don't change the towels in second night
Location was fine. Very near metro, 15-20 min walk to Gran Via through lively streets with shops, cafes, bars. Staff were fine (although limited English). Room was large enough, bigger than some 3 or 4 star hotels I stayed in before. Kitchenette facilities limited, basically a 2-ring hob. Breakfast poor, just tea/coffee,bread,croissant. Breakfast room very small, had to wait/queue 10 mins to be seated. Hot water for shower/wash limited at various times, sometimes just lukewarm. Window in room would not open fully as blocked by curtain rail. A/C did not seem to function. Whilst overall the stay was fine, expected more for price paid.
Nice facilities, well located.
