The building is under construction and there was some noise. There was a strange smell in our room. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and the price is reasonable.
Pros. Close to airport (5km from NAIA, but still took over 2 hrs by taxi on a Fri afternoon at 1pm... unbelievable Manila traffic!), clean sheets, bed comfortable, fairly clean (except carpet), staff generally helpful. Low price.
Cons. Room reeked of unpleasant smelling deodorizer, dirty stained carpet, thin walls (like ship-cabin walls) and could hear everything in the next adjacent rooms and hallways, bathroom tiny, water in shower with sudden long periods of cold then hot water, no business center or computer available, no coffee/tea in room, every single dish of the breakfast buffet was stone cold, and to top it off, loud, obnoxious guests in multiple rooms right opposite our room with their doors open all night and into the wee hours of the morning, partying, yelling and running down the corridors, absolutely no sense of awareness of anyone else but themselves. No effort by hotel staff to control this whatsoever. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.
