Cons: Pricy, especially for Battle Creek area
Also about 3 am there were other guests in our hallway whom were very very loud for 10-15 min or do. Woke myself and my 14 month old granddaughter up. Very rude and disruptive on their part
Pros: Nice staff, clean rooms.
Cons: Expensive snacks and coffee. Wish there was free breakfast.
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful with directions. Clean, nice rooms.
Cons: Kind of pricey.

Pros: It was next to the casino for a reasonable price and there was a walking path.
Pros: I liked that the room was convenient to nearby attractions... It was very clean, and loved that it had so many electrical outlets...Room was nice and quiet, as we had wanted to sleep in, and were able to do this! Would come back to this nice hotel!
Pros: Staff was great! Sent me some items I forgot in my room. Also, the location was right next to the casino.
Pros: free breakfast
Pros: Price is fair. Continental breakfast is better than similarly priced hotels. Staff is wonderful.
Pros: I loved the breakfast and all of the staff I spoke with was very helpful.
Cons: That path through the bean patch though... talk about soaked!!!
Pros: I loved how close it was to the casino.
Cons: Unable to check in early/ no clean rooms @ 11:00am; daughter handicapped and wanted to freshen her up. When room was ready, we had to go down a ramp to a door that had to be manually opened. It was hard rolling her chair, and pulling the luggage at onc
Pros: Close to the casino and expressway
Cons: Awkward way to pull into the building. We entered in the back of the hotel because there was confusing road that ran parallel with the ramp that goes onto the e-way so you have to be careful to turn onto the skinny road that's adjacent to it.
Pros: it was at a great location & clean
Pros: The location when we got there, a little earlier than the 2:00. Maybe about an hour. We were told to go do something and then come back.
Cons: Not really
Cons: It was an average hotel, overpriced....I'm sure it's because its next to the casino...
Pros: Comfortable bed,clean,very good breakfast
Cons: Ice machine too far from room and no microwave or refrigerator in room

Pros: It was in the area where I needed. Close to the freeway
Cons: For a three star hotel and the restaurant was not open when we arrive and we had to go somewhere else to get food at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Also it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in our room.
Pros: very clean
Cons: a little more room options and some color bland color kinda depressing
Pros: Person working front desk when we checked in was very cordial even though it was 1:00 in the morning. Free internet was appreciated.
Pros: Clean and vibrant.
Cons: The good news is that there is a nice restaurant in the hotel. The surprise news was that there was not a complimentary breakfast for patrons. The listing talks about 'breakfast' which is true yet I anticipated a free one like most others. My fault?
Pros: This is a new hotel that is very clean. Most importantly, the staff was awesome.
Pros: Very nice hotel.
Pros: Situated next to malls and food and shopping and stuff.
Cons: No free breakfast. It's a Holiday Inn, not a Hilton.
You need to make sure you make a first impression on guest
Pros: We pick the hotel, because, it was a 3 star
Cons: When we walked into the hotel, there was ton of people partying in the lobby. Beer bottles and food every where. Kids running around until 3 am. Very poor first impression. We paid good money for the hotel,---. We had already paid for the room.
Everyone was very friendly the room was very spacious just a all around great experience for our first time to Michigan.
Pros: Location to anything you would need, (food, shopping, gas, etc)
Cons: The lounge closes very early on the weekends
Great shopping nearby.
Pros: Comfortable beds. Clean rooms.
Cons: Hot breakfast could be better.

Pros: Really appreciated the care and efficiency of cleaning staff. Also very responsive to requests. And thoughtfully quiet as they did their work in the morning.
Also, one desk staff member, April, was particularly helpful when I requested information.
Cons: There is need for greater efforts at hospitality when quests first arrived. No one mentioned the pool or the workout room. I had to discover them myself. The complimentary breakfast was also not mentioned at my arrival. Finally, my room had an unpleasent odor, (i.e., human perspiration), as if the previous guests had used the room as a "workout room."
Pros: Good location for Hwy 94
Cons: Breakfast was fair at best
Pros: Clean comfortable good staff
Cons: Breakfast was a bit lacking. Also had rice cooker with different toppings that I didn't know what they were
Pros: I would highly recommend this motel for a single person or couple. The pillows and bed were comfortable. The price was right for a retired couple. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was, also, happy that the exercise room and pool were opened early since I'm a morning person.
Cons: My husband and I had difficulty using our motel keys to get into our room. We had to insert our keys 3 or 4 times before the green light would go on.

Cons: room 416 had a bad musty/moldy smell to it. The air conditioner was not clean(filters and fins). The shower controls were backwards. The hot water was right and the cold water was left..with no markings.. I would not stay here again.

Pros: House cleaning staff was awesome!! Access to the Kellogg Arena was exceptional.
Cons: Did not like the way my family was treated at the restaurant inside the hotel. The staff was unorganized and unfriendly. Also, did not like the security guards in the pool area.
Pros: Most everything was fine. I've stayed here many times when visiting family in Battle Creek. The valet parking is fine, the rooms are okay, and I usually have few complaints.
Cons: BUT - the noise can be really bad during large events at the attached convention center. Idiot midwestern families occupying multiple rooms seem to like to shout down the hallways as if they were in their own home instead of a shared facility.
The worst, though, is that the staff apparently don't bother to reprogram the alarm clocks on the nightstands between guests. Cue me getting woken up out of a deep sleep at 5 a.m., having to yank the damn clock out of the wall to get it to shut up, and never getting back to sleep. UNACCEPTABLE.
Pros: Staff was so helpful and friendly. Room was clean and very comfortable. Close to everything .. Walkable downtown .
Pros: Hotel is a bit run down, but I was just staying for one night and could put up with run down so long as clean. The minute we entered the hall way of the 6th floor where we stayed, we couldn't get past the musty chemical smell. We arrived late, and were leaving for another engagement so didn't really have time to change our plans. Room was adequate but had the same smell. If it weren't for the smell wouldn't have been too bad. They also meessed up my reservation, had requested a king bed but got two queen bed room instead. Again, we were in a bit of a hurry so didn't tell front desk as it wasn't a huge deal. On positive note, the staff was very nice,
Cons: On website of hotel, mentions that they have a shuttle service to the casino. The day we were there, there was no shuttle service so we took a cab to casino. $15 cab ride, so not that big of deal.
McCamly Plaza is conveniently located in downtown Battle Creek next to the Kellogg Arena with Kellogg's and the Full Blast Family Water Park Entertainment Center nearby. Our deluxe newly-renovated rooms feature brand new beds and linens, telephones, complimentary high-speed internet access, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, in-room coffee service, cable TV and in-room movies. The heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, business center and fitness center are complimentary during your stay.
Cons: Don't think the air conditioning was on in the public areas, after showering I didn't want to set in the warm area to eat breakfast. Had a small problem with a panhandler.
Pros: Rented a Jacuzzi suite with king bed. Front desk people were very kind. Room was nice and clean. There was no trouble at all getting service during the day. Room was quite spacious, had a microwave, a very large refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. The breakfast area is very small but has all the basics. The beds in this hotel are very soft and comfortable, and the sheets nice and warm even when I turn the A/C on to 68 with constant fan.
Cons: Service ground to a halt at night with only one person on staff. Any extra pillows or towels needed to be picked up and could not be delivered due to lack of personnel. The Jacuzzi in the suite was small and only could really fit one person, and it leaked. After use, the carpet around the jacuzzi was drenched and sopping wet for about two feet. The fitness room was very small and only had three machines crammed in without much room to get between them, the hotel pool was murky/cloudy. The iron in the room did not work when I attempted to iron a shirt. The power light simply didn't even go on when plugged in. The coffee pot was dirty in the water reservoir area. There were plenty of loud noises at 1:30am during the week (I rented from Tues-Sat) including banging, running up and down the hall, and what sounded like jumping off the bed on the second floor above me. The environment that the hotel is in can be described as 'shady'. Not a bad neighborhood, but not a very nice one either. Someone in a white car parked next to mine at some point during the night attempted to back out and took out my left rear quarter panel, taking a gouge out of it and leaving a nice foot and a half long white scrape. There are no cameras on the parking lot, just the entry door. If you have a nice car, beware here. I wouldn't leave anything of value in the car. Definitely feels "downtown" in the hood. All in all though, with considering the price for the amenities, it was a good value.

The spacious guest rooms feature refrigerator and microwave, ideal for extended stays. Bring the whole family, as there is no charge for kids 17 and under when accompanied by adults.
Cons: Room was not was expected. No bedding for our pull out bed.
Pros: Location. Bedding was good
Pros: The location was great
Cons: The pool & hot tub were ridiculously hot & the water was cloudy
Pros: Had a lovely stay! Have no complaints. Suggestion, more fresh fruit options. I have food alergies and cannot eat anything containing wheat. My husband and i enjoy breakfast included hotels but find when there is a lack of fruit or yogurt, I get coffee. The staff was very nice and friendly
Cons: the pool needed chemical treatment. It was very cloudy.
Pros: That the clerk Jenni was very helpful ,friendly and made me feel very welcome .
Pros: The room was clean and the night was quiet. That's really the only good we expierenced while we stayed here.
Cons: Rooms were clean, but the lady working behind the desk was extremely rude. I came to the front desk to check in and she obviously knew I was there. She just kept doing what she was doing for about 5 mins then walked over and said "Name." So I told her my name then she turned around to grab stuff and said "credit card and ID." She said nothing more to me about anything. Not even when she handed me paperwork to sign. When all was said and done I got my keys and asked where is my room, she just said down there and walked away. I later went back to ask if we could get some towels for the pool because they were out and there was a line of at least 5 people and she continued to sit behind that little wall and not helping customers. The next morning I went back to again ask for towels for the pool since we did not get any last night and they were still out. After standing at the desk for several minutes again while the same girl hid in her corner she finally walked up to help me. When I asked for towels she said " we ain't got none, they being washed". Then she walked away. This girl is seriously one of the rudest customer service workers I've ever met.
Pros: The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The price was good
Cons: The shower head was pretty clogged and it took forever for the hot water to get to the shower.
Pros: Our room was nice. Temp control worked, which so often is not the case. Fairly quiet.
Cons: Though the entire hotel is supposed to be nonsmoking, we had to walk through a lobby that smelled of smoke, and then our hallway was full of smoke. It was thick enough that it made my child sick.
Pros: I found it very comfortable - I had no complaints at all .
Everything was clean - I didn't feel like I had to worry.
We even had fresh baked cookies downstairs at midnight - it was wonderful. and a perfect breakfast in the morning :)
Pros: Price was right.
Cons: Construction going on, started a bit early in our hallway.
Pros: Location, front desk guy & breakfast were all solid.
Cons: Little loud from constant train related travelers.

Pros: Nothing good to say about this nasty dump. Gross, smelly, and all together horrible. Should be a law for places like this.
Pros: The motel was quiet. know one bothered me. I came back and my room was clean every day. The pool is open and clean. Breakfast is more of a grab and go. But hot coffee was available. I'm returning in August because I can't beat the price.
Cons: The bathroom smelled like urine when I arrived. But they cleaned it when I told them about it. People living in the hotel but apparently it's not the only one they live at. They also live in the area hotels. I wasn't bothered by anyone. I will stay again.
Cons: Large nest bumblebees outside
Pros: Nothing fancy but clean rooms nice staff. We had a nice weekend and will come back if in the area
Pros: It was close to are places
Pros: I was looking for the cheapest place I could find to rest my head for the night. This place was absolutely fine for that. The bed had nice, clean white linens that looked very inviting and it was quite comfy as well.
Pros: Very clean, no problems.
Cons: Battle Creek sucks. Not the hotels fault though.
Pros: I loved the room. It had a couch fridge and microwave
Cons: Some of the staff was not friendly
Pros: bed was comfy.
Cons: holes in doors and walls needs painted and updated bad coffee in the lobby was so weak it was like water the powder cream in the packet was hard as could be, the orange juice had a red tint to it we wouldn't even drink it we went to mcdonalds
Cons: The price for the room was way too high. The place was a dump.
Location not the greatest
Cons: Recliner chair broken. Bed not confortable. Breakfast area congestive.
Pros: carpet and bedding were satisfactory
Cons: needs considerable maintainance and updating

Cons: There was a crack in our door so the cold air was able to come in. We put a blanket over the door so the wind could not come in. The juice machine for the continential breakfast did not work properly.
Pros: evening check in person was very friendly
Cons: day time check out person was very unfriendly

Binder Park, Beadle Lake, Leila Arboretum, and Ott Biological Preserve are all nearby to the Red Roof Inn & Suites Battle Creek. Enjoy family fun at Full Blast Water Park which is also just a short drive away.
Cons: Very old and outdated, can tell linings and towels are very old.
Pros: The only things it has going for it is location and pool.
Cons: The motel needs upgrades, bathrooms need attention.
Pros: Close to the highway, lots of outlets in the room. Close to a nice convenience store. Lots of parking, has a pool. Microwave and refrigerator in every room. Beds were okay. AC/heat worked. Manager was kind enough to move me when I asked.
Cons: The first room I stayed in smelled like someone had chain smoked in there for weeks and was dirty. The toilet had a leaky valve and wouldn't flush unless it ran 5 minutes or so. The windows don't open. The place is falling apart.
Cons: There was very little hot water for a shower and had to run water for about 20 to 15 minutes to get any hot water.
Pros: Obviously older building, but remarkably well kept and clean. Appeared to have been freshly remodeled. Did not go to pool, but kids and adults seemed to enjoy. Good bang for bucks and was impressed with cleanliness of room. A/c unit ran quietly.
way too much for $--- a night! if I paid $---- I wont complain. I should have stayed in comfort inn in Marshall for $--- a night, 20 min away.
Pros: close to college
Cons: noisy. people talking 5 am in the hall way can be heard in the room.
Cons: 1st room was smelly...we had to move. Second room did not have refrigerator or microwave. We will not stay there again.
Pros: Good location. Clean rooms.
Cons: Very limited variety of breakfast food. Toilet didn't flush properly.
Pros: The only good thing was the location with respect to where in Michigan we needed to go
Cons: The room had damaged walls. We had to unplug lamps in order to charge phones and computers due to low number of outlets available. The employee (possibly the manager) initially charged me double what I was supposed to pay (was corrected though)
Cons: Checking in was slow. No elevator. We had to wait for our room to be cleaned after checking in. Our window had a huge crack in it.

Cable television Televisions come with cable channels. Guestrooms also feature air conditioning, welcome amenities, and coffee/tea makers. Rollaways/Extra Bed available with an additional charge. Microwaves and Refrigerators are available upon request.
Pros: Super easy to get too off the highway. Fast check in! If you just want a cheap place to sleep this place is it. Very bare bones but lots of hot water, rooms smell clean, and the beds are very comfy. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: No tv remote, phone, hair dryer, or alarm clock. Really most everyone uses a cell phone now instead of a phone or alarm. The missing remote was fine because we just went to bed as it was late. I never use a hair dryer but others might.

Pros: The beds were great. The room was clean. The tv worked the air conditioning worked. it was a low priced older hotel. it probably did not offer what a $----- plus hotel would have, but we paid less that 1/4 th of that, so we were very happy.
Cons: Considering the cost, this motel met all of our expectations.
Pros: Free wi-fi
Cons: The staff was making the bed when my husband went back for a lost item just a few minutes after leaving, to see them not changing the sheet, just making the bed. Wow, bad.
Cons: It smelled and was not clean.
Cons: Everything. The room was not what I reserved. I found a dead flea on a towel that was still hanging in our room. They were not pet friendly we ended up being charged for our tiny dog. There was hair under our sheets. It was really disgusting.
It's not a very cleanly place.
Cons: The bed sheets were not cleaned from the person who was in the room prior to me.
Pros: The pricing was the only positive for this facility
Cons: Entering the lobby your nose is insulted by unpleasant odors. There is a strong physical need for cleaning and maintenance in all public spaces, due to the lack of cleanliness, I refused to have the continental breakfast supplied. Place needs work.
Staff was friendly and the hotel was really clean. The hotel explained there was a resturant, there was, however when I arrived at 5:45PM it was closed, needed to get dinner from the service station across the street. Not sure I would stay again, maybe in warmer weather. Room didn't get warm until the next morning.
Pros: Large size room, bed really comfy and lots of pillows. It was very close to the Amtrak Station and the price was good.
Cons: The heater wasn't turned on when I arrived in the room, there wasn't any place to hang clothing.
Cons: No breakfast like stated when I reserved the room, hotel was falling apart due to poor maintence
The front desk staff was courteous, despite my late hour of arrival--it was exactly what I needed...a cheap, clean place to stay. My stay was only a single night, and I didn't get a chance to use the pool--perhaps these would've yielded negatives? The restaurant next door cooks up a wonderful breakfast (phenomenal coffee, eggs done just right).
Pros: It wasn't the hotel I'd stayed in the night prior...it's likely that this is skewing my perception a little
Cons: No, it was just what the doctor ordered.
Priceline should not list this hotel.
Pros: The staff was curteous.
Cons: No internet at the hotel. My truck was vandalized and some one stole a suitcase I had in the back.
Terrible hotel. Would not recommend.
Cons: We didn't like the poor staff cooperation and service. As well as the bed bug bites!
Will not stay here again. I think the price was high for what we received.
Pros: The staff was nice
Cons: Suppose to be a continental breakfast but, at 6:30 am that staff was sleeping and no breakfast was available. The bed was leaning and sagged in the middle and struggled all night to stay on the bed and not fall off.

Pool closed until further notice.
Pros: It was cheap, the location was good, and no bed bugs.
Cons: Old/ stained mattresses; queen size fitted sheets on a double mattress; found a pair of dirty socks behind the refrigerator; sink was incredibly old and disgusting; toilet did not have lid on the tank or a handle to flush (you had put your hand inside the tank and push a button to flush); there was blood (yes, blood) on the underside of the toilet seat; walls must have been paper thin as I heard people talking outside and in the next room (normal conversation volume – not yelling); “breakfast” was a loaf of bread/toaster/ jam/ dry cereal/ no coffee. I can’t believe this place hasn’t been condemned. I have stayed in some pretty bad places but this place was #1.
Cons: Crack house vibe.
Pros: Not one thing.
Cons: Not as pictured in the photos. Office was separated by plexiglass. The clerk talked to us through the wall of glass. The room did not have parking outside the door. This was one of the reasons we chose this motel. The walkway to our room was dark and round-about. The door lock was sketchy. The room smelled overwhelmingly like cheap floral air freshener. Bed covers slightly turned down to reveal saggy pillows with very wrinkled linens. The noise from the freeway was so loud and could be heard inside the room. This reservation was a complete disaster. We are still working out the refund.
