Fun, fun, fun!
We loved the theme and atmosphere of the room and Theo common spaces. Our room had a balcony complete with rocking chairs, and we loved the big jet tub and other amenities.
The room was not very quiet. We could clearly hear our neighbors when they were speaking, and they started setting up in one or the meeting spaces across the hall at 6 am and it was loud enough that we couldn’t go back to sleep.
Big Cypress Lodge was our favorite hotel ever! Rooms and Bathrooms were big and beautiful! Balcony overlooking the Bass Pro Shop was amazing! Very warm and welcoming. We will be back for sure!
We had dinner at Fishbowl, the food was very good, and our waitress was nice but it seemed understaffed. She was the only waitress in the entire seating area where we were, we felt bad for her.
Disappointed
The lodge was beautiful and the amenities top notch.
The staff charged us a parking fee (per day) for both rooms when we only had ONE VEHICLE. When we tried to explain this to the staff, her reply was that she couldn't do anything because the room was booked thru hotel.com. This to me was unacceptable. A rip off.
