Courtesy and friendliness of employees. No problems
I liked the fact that the price was good and that it was within walking distance to stores like Walgreens and Ross Dress for Less. It also was near a few restaurants. The staff at the hotel was great. The restaurant at the hotel wasn't working at all or wasn't working for most of the day. The fact is that I never could get a meal as room service and I actually did not see any guests eating there.
Excellent staff, friejdly, competent, professional. The ownership, managment and staff all appeared to be good examples of people. From all aroind the world who were respectful of the Land of Oppprtinity and striving - by hard work - to make a good life for themselves. Plus the Facility was tops. Great value.
Nada, it was HORRIBLE The rooms are dirty, loud air conditioner, Very Rude Staff! For the amount for one room 141.00 three star!!!! Please!!! Then had the audacity to not offer free breakfast. To insult me even more I was given 5% of ticket for my meal!!! Wow!!!
The staff was very professional and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping was the best.
Location and staff Price was very high for Best Western and the amenities at this particular hotel.
Very nice staff Washer dryer good $6.00 to wash and dry $12:00 if you need to split colors and whites. Asked for balcony and king size bed. Thought would have nice view from balcony, yet looked at back carpark and back of shops, lock on sliding door is broken so they have rod to stop door. Just ok, yet I will say the staff are excellent, very friendly and very kind 10/10 for the staff. Comfortable yet do not expect too much.
Staff were very freindly and accommodating. Room was clean and bed was great. Close proximity to shopping and beaches. Best part is the free onsite self parking. On the beach you are relegated to valet park with fees. Good value for the money Nothing
We enjoyed the very helpful and friendly staff. The location is about 6 miles north of downtown and south beach. The next beach is 2 miles away. Perfect for visitors, who want to escape the spring break crouded south beach hotels and who want better quality and service for a less money compared to South beach hotels. Two Busses go frequently to center of Miami for 2$ a ride or 5$ for a dayticket, that you can get at the airport. As other hotels we stayed in while traveling in the US the furnitures are a little old, but I would not describe the hotel as run down. The WiFi signal was weak or very weak in our room and unstable. There is no save in the room.
It was not too far from the centre...but a part from this it was really a poor hotel The musty smell
Hotel staff is very friendly and competent. Good location near to convenience stores, restaurants, supermarkets and beaches. First floor hall carpets are a little bit dirty. Food cooking smell is terrible in this area.
The room is almost noise proof, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is not really worthy it.
front desk service was friendly, helpful
We stayed in a Biscayne Bay view room, with balcony. Excellent choice. A nice lively bayside bar/restaurant is just downstairs.
Very well located to visit Miami and Miami beach. Free car parking differentiates it from other hotels in the area. Included breakfast is good.
Clean bath room, good breakfast, great staff, the money I paid it's worth it
Very convenient and good restaurant on the bay.
Noisy bikers till the late evening
very nice renovated rooms! WiFi access in rooms weak
The view on the beach/breakfast were great. No complaints
Reasonable price, clean, convenient location and parking. Breakfast included. Requires renovation work. Breakfast could have more variety than plain eggs and sausage.
Lovely staff. So convenient to have the pool and Shuckers restaurant right on premises. Good breakfast provided in lobby area. Easy access to all parts of Miami. This appears to be an older hotel perhaps in need of some updates. Lack of outlets in room was supplemented by power strips. Shower water turned cool before finished.
Rooms are very clean
Nothing It was a pimp hotel , drug house! They had about 5 pimps and hoes all night in the lobby the housekeepers are rude they barely clean and want you to leave the room so they can put the SAME sheets on the bed sweep and lift the toilet seat up so You think they did something NEVER AGIN
Housekeeping was accommodating. Location/neighborhood. Safety is not on my list.
The breakfast wasn't too bad my kids enjoyed it. There were random people alway hanging around in the lobby and out in the parking lot. I'm assuming that they live there. Each morning it would smell like weed in the bathroom I don't know if the people next to me were smoking it or what.
Olía a mariguana
The bed was very comfortable. The first night there I walked out of the elevator into a huge cloud of pot smoke and several highly intoxicated people running and yelling in the hallway. As my stay progressed I learned that those "guests" had actually been living there in the hotel for some time. The staff did nothing to take control of the situation. Furthermore, in the evenings, there were several people just hanging around outside the buildings... I felt very uncomfortable any time that I had to go out to my car or to dinner...
El tamaño de las habitaciones, limpieza y comodidad de las camas. No controlan el fumado de marihuana en las habitaciones, al menos en el 6to piso. Desayuno poco suculento.
The hotel is well located, but has an unpleasant odor. With some problems in the bathroom which were then fixing. On the other all right
Decent wifi. Room was comfortable and quiet The room seemed a bit old. Could use refurbishment. The extractor in the bathroom wasn't working
Smelled horrible. Grime on floors. Crackheads fighting in other rooms
It was located a few miles from my shool, which was a big plus for me. Parking lot in front of the hotel. That is about it. Internet service was very inconsistent and slow throughout my stay (and I stayed there for 5 days). Water pressure in the shower - weak, while the temperature of the water was flactuating during my shower. The sheets barely fit the bed and would consistently come out, which was annoying to me personally. Choice of TV channels is poor. No ESPN. The little fridge in the room barely keeps things cold. Cooler and ice did a better job for me. Bottom line is that it is a relatively cheap place to stay. A roof over yournhead and a bed to sleep on. That is it. And be ready to do a lot if sacrifices.
I was impressed rooms extremely ckean. Hotel personal very pleasant. Nice hotel for your money. Needs an updated ice machine does not look very clean and ice comes out watery.
The fact that I had to beg for towels and Wash clothes real poor staff services I don't recommend it by no means the carpet was dirty and nasty.
Location was great, Room sizes Staffing, Prices, Attitudes and room quality.....
Nothing The room was dirty had a bad smell like some dead in it asked for a better room the second room was worst
Ver bad don't go not claen
Location Dirty, old nasty.
Staff was really kind and very very helpful The smell like cigarettes, the room was not clean enough. The walls were dirty and there were holes in them. It looked like motel from movies where hookers and dealers come together I do not recommend to anyone
Location was convenient but rough neighborhood Nothing like advertised. Dirty and disgusting. Rough crowd. I would not recommend. Try the Vagabond instead. Much nicer.
NOTHING Motel blue is so dirty! Beds are brown all stained sheets have burn holes and stains all over them the ac was duct taped sealed The bathroom was nasty no toilet paper the wifi does not work bugs everywhere in the room no breakfast very rude staff DO NOT STAY HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
It was da worst hotel ever basers carpet was a mess floor was stains everywhere ac don't work bathroom was a mess
Nothing It's dirty I have to walk with plastic on my feet because I was scared !!!!!! I can't believe this hotel can receive poeple !!!!and the worst was more than 300 for 3 days !!!
It's very quiet,no one interrupts you. It's good its good side to staying there. Theres a guy that works in reservaton (sorry I forgot you name) he gives great customer service and he smiles. Which is good because makes us feel like a good environment to stay for some time. The carport when you walk puts your feet all black, the breakfast its just cafe and mcmuffin. I know they could do better.
Nothing Awful place. It was full of people from the hood hanging out in the pool area. Cancelled my stay eventhough I didn't get a refund for the night I paid for. Definetly not a safe place, especially for families
Very good rate for a nice and big room with kitchen amenities and good bathroom. There were ants in the bathroom and kitchen.
a little bit far from south beach, however this hotel was confortable, clean, and very cheap !
Front desk guy was friendly. Paid nearly $300 for a dank, humid, musky room.
Location and parking space included Noise
Great location everything is close by !! Very clean rooms! The beds were so comfortable! ! great place to stay for a day or to and thq staff was great! !
ok, good location, near the beach small room
The hotel is situated directly at Harding Ave (3Lanes)what is a very busy road where all the traffic from North Miami Beach to South and downtown passes. Windows are simple awning no insulation at all! Very very noisy. AC is an old window type noisy too. Bathroom with loose tiles on the floor. Mostly young people who sleep in the morning and go out very late coming home early morning with a lot of noise..
free parking space in front of the hotel
Other than a view stains in the carpet, the room is perfect. Both the room and the bathroom are big and clean. The matrass is in good condition. The pool is perfect and has no time limit. You need a car to visit the comercial zones. The kitchen is a totaly waste of space. It has no equiptment for cooking, completely empty! We had a room in the back of the building. On Sundaymorning (5AM) the garbage containers were emptied which made a terrible noise. We can't blame the hotel, but be aware if you have a room in the back during the weekends.
The owner was rude, rooms were dirty
The people who run it were very helpful,
I enjoyed my stay and had a good experience, I will ask my travel agent to recommend this hotel to others. the transportation to the city and other events must be better organized better
It's difficult to say. Actually the hotel location is good for the rate. A lot of things. The room was not clean when we checked in. The lavatory basin was very durty and the floor also. There was a cockroach inside the fridge. The hotel says there is a continental brealfast but there is only coffe, juice, milk e some bread over a kind of a workbench. There is no table/chair in the 'breakfast area'. The hotel staff was actually friendly.
Did not have reservation available and refused to refund back to me.
Location The Inn is in a good location. Near to the main stretch that takes you to South Beach (2 short buses there). There is a swimming pool that looks nice (never went in). The place however stunk of cannabis. The breakfast consisted of stale bagels and donuts. Okay for a cheap overnighter
Absolutly nothing Bad service, high prices, uncomfort
The location was fairly central although there was nothing much around there and you still needed a car. On the plus side, the parking was free. It's a pretty dingy place.Although I was not expecting much for the price it was one of the grimmest places I stayed in a long time. I was put in room 101 which was disabled guests. It smelled horribly of stale cigarette smoke. The main light switch did not work so I had to fumble around in the dark to find a lamp that worked. The carpet was very worn and the bed uncomfortable. Luckily I'm a good sleeper as the noise from the nearby road was quite loud. I just about tolerated it for a night and spent the money I saved on a nice dinner. It's really a motel and had a definite seediness about it.
For me it is the best location to go to the design district. The hotel has the free parking, even the swimming pool :) The personall are very nice and friendly. You can have 24 hours tee and coffe in the lobby. I was a little scared in the beginning, since it is a motel but then i realised it is very secure.
I liked that there was always a clean room awaiting when I returned from being out all day.
Nothing, just terrible, dirt, i reserved for 4 nights and just slept 1 night, i do not reccomend this hotel at all, simply the worst................
Expensive for the value, very old furniture and room, filthy
if your motivated you can be standing in the water in under a minute. The bar looked nice but I didn't use it. Staff did a good job. What everyone says. A very dated property that has seen better days. But that why were there, your not spending $350 a night on south beach. That whole area of north beach is run down and needs a complete rehab.
Location Hotel/AC Quality (noisy). I've got a package sent to it and had to go back after check out since I wasn't notified. Had to insist on looking up and the frontdesk kept me waiting a lot for it.
I liked the location and the affordability. It also included continental breakfast (although with limited options) which was a nice feature. The bathroom looked like it needed some TLC. Also through the air duct you could hear people showering. There were even people smoking somewhere in the hall and/or rooms because I could smell the smoke in my room.
Beachfront Easy access good location some of the staff was friendly staff's willingness to help with issues low price 'free' breakfast was ok but not many options had loaner beach towels and beach chairs which was a major plus First day was disastrous because they did not have my reservation in their system, along with about 8 others before and after me. Went through Amoma, although they tried to help, I didn't they were not successful. took me more than 2 hours to finally get my room AFTER MIDNIGHT First room I was given was dirty, bathroom was smelly and tiny, ceiling had either mold or dust. It was not a clean facility, maybe a 2 star simply because of the location and the ability to upgrade to a beach front view with dirty windows. GM, who was on the phone was making things much more difficult for us to get a room. Very thin walls. You can hear everything on the rooms next door and the pools.
It was right across the street from the beach and I picked it because I had some business nearby. The breakfast was continential and in a dark room with no chairs or tables. The beds were very very bad. This place was built in possibly 1930's and it still looks that way with only small changes. The street has many other places not repaired and boarded up.
Dirty, smelled, pool was filthy , breakfast consisted of rotten apples and bread to toast. Never again.
Customer Service experience was absolutely horrendous.
The staff was awesome. We wanted a "street view". We got a nice view of the roof. A lot of broken glass & sludge to look at. In order to take a shower we had to lodge 1 of the complimentary shampoo bottles in the drain. We are only 5'5" in height & our feet hung off the bed while laying down. No blankets. Had to ask for them. The towels, bed sheets & the blankets didn't smell clean at all. The restrooms in the lobby smelled like someone cleaned with a dirty rag. Being a historical hotel, one would think it would be well taken care of.
The view from our hotel room was spectacular, right in front of the ocean Very long wait to check in AND out
I just like the view but i had to pay extra for it. Over charges, hotel fee, pool fee, beach fee. For everything they have a fee. One of the worst customer service. The sink was cloak and call for to fix, that happend the very first hour we got to the hotel, by check out the sink was not uncloak yet, and we last 3 days 2 nights.
How the cleaning staff took my towel.
I liked how close the beach was to the hotel I didn't like how when I arrived to the hotel, my boyfriend and I checked in and the room that was given to us was a double queen bedroom. On the site I booked the room from, it has the option on a double queen or single king bedroom and we weren't offered a choice. We ended up complaining to the front desk about it and they gave us a single King room.
This place has history and location. They have done some nice updates to furnishings and the rooms and common areas are spacious. Tiki bar was our favorite. Customer service was polite but seemed to be disorganzied and advantageous. We had issues both with check in and check out. We paid for a deluxe room and was given a less then standard room. The upgrades are minimal to the room and in need of new paint and trim. Room smelled musty. Bathroom counter was stained, the one blanket in the room was old and crusty feeling. Was very disappointed in lack of furnishings in our room, poor use of space. As well as the noise. Tweens and teens were running and laughing up and down the halls at all hours. We called security. Still no change. Had to turn on music as a distraction to sleep. Noise did not stop till almost 3am. Also there was a 3 inch space between our door and threshold and we could hear everything. Worst night sleep ever. I hope they get some money to become what they could be and all I am sure they want to be. Highly suggest they do some two tone painting on the main structure to create some depth to the architectural details around the window, a large mural on the wall to the farthest right of the pool. A concrete stain to the patio area would be a great upgrade as well.
No blankets on beds, costs $30 per night to park your car off site. Rooms are very run down. Nothing is maintained like it should be. Don't waste your money here.
The bed was comfortable\ I liked the indoor bar Waterview was good Shower was small and lacked basic amenities
It was conveniently close to stores and other bars. I love the music (jazz) station on one of the TV channels. This hotel has seen better days in its heyday and its living off of the legacy of what it used to be. There weren't any happy hours at the poolside bar. Towel station shuts down at 6 pm. Plus, a none refundable $25.00 resort fee per day. Guess what, I didn't use any of the amenities. This hotel needs a major overhaul and I'm not talking about a fresh coat of paint and a new conforter.
There was a gay convention in the hotel and they were drinking smoking marijuana and there behavior was horrible I had two young kids and they got really scared . I was about to cancel reservation but it was too late for that . But I had the most horrible experience . The staff wasn't friendly either . Too expensive to have such low a poor customer service like they do . I didn't feel safe at all with all those people walking around drugged and drunk . Not going back
Right on the beach.. Big plus Misleading...extra charges for everything $19 for breakfast $30 each day for parking $25 a day for resort services.. Rooms very dirty.. Will never go there again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy..!!!
Beach front location The room service is inexistant. The facilities are in a very bad status.
Main haul way carpeting filthy. Everything. Extremely dirty. Staff was honest and allowed us to cancel with no fee. Website tried not to refund. Rooms to go............after fighting and 3 attempts, several managers, they finally refunded. Do not book through this company.
Smell and mold. Dirty rooms, hair.
The location is great. Directly on North Beach and quiet. Very good restaurants around the corner. The ladies at the front counter are very rude and not helpful. We booked a room for 4 but only got 2 pillows and 2 bath towels. We were told, that there are no spare pillows in the whole hotel after asking 4 times ... Only one employee that overheard our conversation with the lady on the front counter helped us and found 4 additional pillows! Hotel itself is OK, but old and run down. Would never stay here again!!!!
The only thing good was location The rooms were very old and dirty. If you want a single room you will not see pictures of the rooms on the site. The are very old and musty and in a building next to the main building. The rooms seen on the site do not depict what you will have. We were there two nights without a working a/c in our room. Overall worst hotel experience I have ever had.
The location was the only good part The pictures of the room I booked online had two beds, but when I checked in the room only had one. Of course they were "fully booked" and couldn't give me another room, so they sent a cot (which had blood stains on it)
Great proximity to the ocean and restaurants The power cut off in the hotel half way through the night making the whole place extremely hot and uncomfortable. The hotel is much further from South Beach than expected.
Great location,great staff,great value
I booked a room and when I got there they told me they didn't have rooms available and besides that they don't want to refund me my money and I call them and they hang up on me
Nothing to like except walking distance to the beach You have to pay for parking. They show you a picture of the hotel and actually you'll be staying in the building right next to it which is basically falling apart. The restroom are horrible. The sheets have stains.
Nothing Everthing was bad
It's basic and was the cheapest I could find that wasn't too far from the rest of Miami Beach. Publix isn't far, not to mention local grocers, restaurants and cafes. Beaches are on part with Middle and South Beach. Fine for just walking across to the beach everyday or using as an affordable base camp if you don't want to be in a hostel. No breakfast, no coffee. Investing in a basic coffee machine for guests isn't that expensive. I personally don't care, but the rooms were pretty worn out and you can't (seemingly) open the windows. I hate air conditioning but had to use it to keep it fresh. These aren't really complaints. My only complaint is the price. For a third the price you can stay in a hostel in mid beach with good breakfast, bar, pool, etc. You are basically just paying for privacy to stay in a lot of the cheaper Art Deco hotels in Miami Beach. They are commonly just maintained to a basic level. The buildings next to this one are deteriorating and one has a notice of violation. OS maintains their neighboring building, but it's not too pretty. Again, I don't care, but you'd think someone would be investing more. Just an observation.
I can't think of a thing! Holes in the ceiling in the hallway outside my door. Carpet older than I am (50+) Dank odor Sink in the bathroom sprayed everywhere We left and found another hotel
The spacious room and bathroom, the comfortable beds, the decoration of the hotel, the swimming pool area and the access to the beach. Also the quality of the beach
The only thing I like that me went near the hotel to the beach The bath was dirty the hotel no entertainment, too much noise in corridors we Can't rest . you have to pay for park your car separated .I'm not recommend that's hotel.
Hotel very good other then the sun is gone by 1:00 PM blocked by the building next door. Hotel pool with no sun after lunch is not good.
For the price we paid, the rooms were way below standard. Consider it a motel. No hot water and you could hear the people in the other rooms.
proximity to the beach exterior look, window view, food at the hotel
Nice, large room with whirpool, which we didn't use because the hotel has a swimmingpool and is located directly on the beach. Laptop with free internet conection is available at the lobby at any time. Lots of good restaurants across the street. All busses S, H, K, L drive you for 2 dollars in 20 minutes to South beach. Don't expect a nice view from your room (it's a small hotel). You can't put off the airconditioning, so it can be cooler in the evening - bring some long sleev pijamas with you. At Memorial day (end of may) the hotel was extremly expensive, but I really mean expensive, so avoid booking a hotel if there is a national holiday during your stay.
Friendly & helpful staff, clean, nice rooms, good facilities nearby - takeaways, delis, pharmacy, liquor store etc. Nice pool area and its right on the beach - have just got back to work today after the trip and have already recommended it to a friend. a bit far north of south beach etc but it did have good bus links across the road (S route) to south beach & bayside areas.
nothing, it was a horrible nightmare the service was bad, they were so understaffed they didnt have time for us, bathroom was not clean, they messed up my room reservation and gave me a small and horrible room with separate beds, my boyfriend and i couldnt even sleep next to each other!! the tv was so small, the room was hot (weak AC which is controlled by reception not by the occupants!) and sweated all night.
the free parking next door. they gave us the wrong room at first and it was a very very noisy accomodation. the beach wasn't clean and the pool could use some renewal.
Beachfront! Terrible facilities in general, the carpets are old, stained and terribly worn down! The room had a good view, but the windows leaked, and it was not in good shape! It really needs an upgrade!
not much. expensive - have to pay on arrival for whole trip and even sunbeds outside. poor service. dated. Hated it.
Beautiful quiet hotel in nice neighbourhood, direct acces to the beach! Pitty there were renovation-works going on. When that is finished everything is perfect! no
Have stayed at hotel for past 20 years. Enjoy staff, location and character of the property. no
Balcony view was amazing. Friendly staff and great location right on the beach.
Cleanilness, staff , and no crowds. No.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Air Con was very noisy in both rooms. The pool bar only stayed open until 5 pm. I would have liked to sit outside to have a cocktail in the evening.
Aire acondicionado sin termostato. manual. faltan cajones para ropa.
It was a great experience ! Good service
I liked the convience of resturants and shops. the cost of parking $18.00
Nice place to stay, very clean, confortable, and friendly. Well you asked so here goes...I think it should be c/o for guest and the beach too, especially in all the heat we are having.
The rooms were large and clean; nice pool and beachfront access; walking/biking trail next to beach was great Room service and restaurant service do not begin until 7:30; would have liked coffee maker in the room for early risers
large and comfortable room, luxury bathroom, great service in every area: from the swimming pool here you get towel, drinks, and magazine, to the courtesy cocktails. Thay will make anything they can to make a pleasure of your stay. Intelligent luxury, great value for money. not easy to park in the area - it's almost compulsory to use the valet service
cooperation of staff and facilities
Everything Breakfast not icluded in the price.
This hotel is really good one. I liked it very much and I passed good time in it. However, my phone was stolen from my room but the responsible is interested in it. I had left it in the room but when I came back it was not there. This was a serious problem that must be solved.
The views were pretty nice. The room was comfortable, except for the constant racket of music, construction and traffic, not to mention the binging from the elevator Super noisy. Disorganized. Staff not very helpful Somewhat snobby clientele.
Rooms and great balconies Health club closed
Beautiful hotel. The staff was very accommodating Temporary fitness center
The location. The views the staff Area 31 bar night Service was not good
All greeted with asmile and the will help you any way the can No tea in rooms
Hotel staff addressed us by first and last names. Incredibly friendly and genuine. Restaurant was excellent..intimate and personal attention. The food was amazing as well. Pools relaxing and service prompt.
friendly staff, fast service, when i did not answer the door ring (i did not ask for anything), the service people opened the door, and this happened twice and once at 2AM!!! the door was locked, it was really a shock in such a hotel. why does someone open your room when in locked\privacy mode at 2 am and you have never asked for something?? i really felt unsafe in such a hotel.
Great location , nice rooms , great staff
The bell men and bar tenders were great for the most part. Only had on crabby out front guy.. The e-cart guys were wonderful and that was so nice...I would stay again just because of them! The drinks were outrageously priced! Our coffee was never replaced in the room and the fact it was only instant coffee and no complementary coffee in the lobby was sad...also no breakfast and not really a cheap place to get some nearby...that was not good
The facilitiy was good, although bedroom was too dark, beds good comfortable. Location Amazing, customer service intermediate. Some employees were tough. The downstairs pool was great, but needs a bar. Overall good
Excellent service. Great staff and good restaurants. Pool bar on roof is great. This is by far the best deal for a boutique in south beach. Not too noisy not too quiet. Valet is $35 everywhere in south beach. I that's too much, walk up 17 street 500m to the city parking garage and park for 20/night. There's nothing cheaper within a mile. Is what it is. I read all the reviews and was shocked a what some people were saying. Yes the rooms are small but the buildings are from the 30's. It is not the ritz, it's a well priced boutique hotel easy walking to everything south beach is. I came here for 2 days, have now stayed a week. If you want new run of the mill marriott or Sheraton, enjoy paying $350 a night. When I decided to extend my stay the staff actually worked with me to navigate some of the many online apps to find the best deal. This hotel is more for the going out crowd or solo traveller or under 40's couples. Some posters griped about the reception being a different building, really???? It's all of 15 steps door to door. I've had longer walks in some airport hotels to the elevator. Drive up and down south beach and price other places then come here, it's the best deal in south beach collins hands down. It's what I expected. The staff is limited on what rates they can give you, it's up to you to shop around and make sure you're getting the best price. I'm a mid 30's oil and gas engineer and don't have 500$ a night for south beach. Having said that this is perfect. The hallways aren't new and the cleaning staff can seem loud because the doors don't seal out noise all that great. Parking everywhere here is a challenge, welcome to south beach. If you don't pay, you'll be hiking.
Amazing. I loved the happy hour and the rooftop pool with the dj. The beds were amazing and comfortable. I did wake up with a couple bug bites on my leg which concerned me but that could have been anything. Also the bamboo area was nice :)
Almost everything! Pretty high resort fee, but this includes a happy hour from 7-8 where ALL drinks are free. And they don't mess around with the orders. Orders during happy hour are fulfilled quickly. Also there's a free airport shuttle, which takes kind of long (45 mins) so plan ahead! Pool looks okay, but we didn't use it. Just minutes away from the actual beach. Three nice buildings, clean rooms - just a little bit of smell probably due to the high humidity. AC had a control panel, but didn't change anything. Staff was really friendly. Resort fee was charged, even though our reservation already had them included. I sent an email about this, we'll see..
I liked that they keep you posted on the hottest clubs for the night and give you a great deal to attend. I didn't like that the beach package didn't not include an umbrella, had to pay for the umbrella separate which is a little costly just for an umbrella.
The hotel was in a good location and included beach chairs with the rooms. There was loud music playing at the restaurant next door 24 hours a day, the staff was disorganized and assigned us a room that already had people staying in it. The rooms keys NEVER worked, we had to get new keys at least 7 times during our stay. The rooms were tiny and the ac didn't seem to work. There wasn't a bathroom fan so it got muggy in the room after every shower. There is no easy way to get ice at all. It was just very disorganized and inconvenient.
Nice staff Only reason why I gave lower stars is due to being kept up all night from the music coming from the club next to the building. This alone ruined the stay for me. Could not relax. Slept about 2.5 hours.
I appreciated how they let me check in early and check out late. I also liked how they upgraded my room when I mentioned the room I was first put in was a little bit loud. Some rooms are louder then others
Watch out for hidden fees!
When I arrived at the hotel, I was advised my total had increased by about 100 because of $15 resort fees and taxes on top. I was not prepared to pay 15 because that is not what my reservation indicated. Vienna was nice enough to bring those fees down. So I got to take a dip in the pool and it was closed. I don't prefer beach water and I was really looking forward to the swim pool. On top of that, the carpeting in the room was the worst. I refused to even walk on the carpet barefoot. I mean awful.
Desk staff particularly friendly and helpful.
Our Front Desk Agent Jason was super friendly and very helpful when looking for places to eat. Even though we were staying for one night, he treated us like we were regulars. Valet boys were very kind from beginning to end. -There were stains on the bed sheets. -The sheets were torn. -The bar inside the shower, is falling apart. I tapped it while in the shower and it came out. -Outside on the balcony, the walls were disgustingly black. they need to be pressured washed.
The breakfast is good!! The parking is expensive!!
Staff was friendly and helpful
Everything including location from the Port of Miami, nice lobby, great restaraunt, and view from balcony! Pool was horrendous. When you go to FL the one thing you look forward to it the pool/jacuzzis. To put it in perspective, the pool water was warmer than the hot tub. Outside of the pool area needing some work, everything was great.
I loved the hotel grounds, great location but our room was tight. Shower/tub needs refinishing. We will return. Tub & size of the room
Nothing to write home about. The view was great but the rooms were standard! I expected a bit more comfort for the price.
I thoroughly enjoyed our room on the 21st floor. The view was amazing and the room was very plush and comfortable. Enjoyed the daily Happy Hour specials and the buffet styled breakfast thats readily available downstairs at the restaurant called the "Catch". The service the Marriott provided was Awesome! I would stay here again.... $10.00 or less ride to South Beach using Uber or Lyft. If you don't want to pay the daily parking charge, there is street parking that affordable adjacent to the hotel. There is no microwaves or refrigerators available in the rooms. However, you can requested these items if they are available.
Great pool area It would been nice if breakfast was included
The room was beautiful! Had an amazing view. The staff were amazing as well, very friendly and helpful. Would have liked to see some more shopping boutiques
All the employees were really attentive and helpful The wireless internet not being free was ber inconveniencing.
the water in our shower where not hot .. it was late and we stayed only one night to we didnt say any thing ..
I was pleased with the amenities and cleanliness. The location was also a major plus. Parking was not included in the service offering neither wqs internet.
clean very friendly convenient great view pay to park pay for internet
getting old.... hope it´s renewed in the future
I got a very good deal for how nice the hotel was. the food was good. the bed was super comfortable. very close by to everything. tv kept messing up
It was overall a fantastic hotel, would stay again The construction
Close to the bus stop & mover Beautiful scenery Far from the beach
Location, room, view was great! Expensive parking fee
Staff were friendly. You must take two hotels to get down from your room to the motor court if you take your car out of valet or take three elevators if you self parked...?
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. 1) Status was not recognized. Although we booked thru agent, other brands still recognize it. They are even stingy on the complementary bottles of water.. which is funny. I will not give Hilton into priority consideration in the future. 2) Some residents were definitely smoking pot inside the room. 3) We had 4 people checking in and were only given 3 towels.... which is very much ridiculous. 4) The bed was not set up in a tidy manner, and the trash can and empty bottles were not removed after the room cleaning.. that was a very bad experience.
everything was perfect none
Great location. Staff seemed busy but helpful both in person and when I called in advance about our visit. Beautiful view of the riverfront. Breakfast was not particularly well-received (e.g. they had powdered eggs instead of the real thing).
The location is close to the Port of Miami. I was able to walk to the water front to explore the day before I boarded for my cruise. It was a 10 minutes Uber ride from the hotel to the Port of Miami. There are 2 pharmacies within 10 minutes walking distance. The room and building are very dated. The elevator is very slow.
Nothing I would never stay at this hotel again, don't waste your money
The room was comfortable Staff is good but need to be a bit more friendly
Hotel was very close to Port, this was great for a person taking a cruise. Front desk was not personable and gave us the wrong room. THE second clerk was more personable and corrected the situation.
Extremely slow check in, big room but ancient furniture including a TV from the sixties. No breakfast, as promised, the following morning as the food delivery had not arrived! No credit offered for this omission.
No Parking, Breakfast is also very bad
The view was great, the room was clean. The guy that checked us in was super nice. Only staying one night
Staff was really rudded. They have problems with my reservation and they did not want to help me in solving the problem when the problem was theirs. The TV did not work.
Front desk representatives were friendly No room service, place needed better cleaning, no fridge in the room? Breakfast was cheap and horrible.
They need new the furnitures and open restaurant and bar and swimming pool.
Had amentities such as a nice pool, beach umbrellas and chairs were free to rent, and if you forgot something, they're quick to accommodate you.
I was at a conference and didn't check out on time. The concierge Claudio from the beginning spoke to me almost yelling in an absolutely disrespectful tone "como se me ocurria salir a esta hora 3pm"This essentially translates to "What are you thinking checking out at this time?"When I told him I did not know that checkout was at 11am he simply freaked out and answered"This information was in the paper you signed when you checked in Don't you know how to read? Because I always read what I sign I don't know if you do but I do read what I sign!"I was simply baffled with
