It was nice and new and a had a lot of room with a couch in my room. Nothing. It was a great place to stay.
The staff was very friendly and always there for any questions or to request anything. The location was nice and quite. The 12 hour drive to the hotel. Next time I will fly as well. :)
That it was comfortable ad's spacious with lots of pillows That my confirmation or reservation was not sent to the hotel so they was not aware of me showing up
We found the room to be good enough quality. You could tell they've been updating, and there was a few things that still needed TLC however the room was clean, the beds were cozy, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast in the AM is also a perk. Location was okay, however at night it you could definitely hear traffic, and it really didn't apprear to be the best neighborhood.
Nice looking facility, reasonable rates. I didn't appreciate waiting for 5 minutes in an otherwise empty lobby to be noticed at the front desk (with Nicklodeons Good Burger on the lobby big screen - not very professional) when the 20 something year old guy did show up he wasn't very attentive to his job. Some of the time the guy was watching the show on the tv behind me instead of completing my check in (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.) I was the only one checking in, but that shouldn't matter. Fast, courteous service is the simple expectation. I didn't experience any of those traits. The shower in my ground floor room took 10+ minutes to get warm and the drain was so slow the tub was over half full of cold water by that point. There were about 8 cars in the lot.....not that many people taking showers all at once, in the early evening, to explain the cold water issue. Once the water was warm, the tub still wouldn't drain fast enough to avoid eventually overflowing, so I had to turn the water off and wait for it to completely drain before I could fully rinse off. The shower and tub spigot weren't totally secure to the wall either it's like the construction in the remodel wasn't great quality because after those discoveries I was noticing details I usually wouldn't bother to pay attention to. The rooms decor was nice, and the price was okay, but I was hoping for a pleasant, surprise new favorite, but got the cold hand of disappointment instead. I'm not even interested in giving it a second try....which makes me sad because the pictures showed so much promise.
Fridge and Micro., chair & ottoman, large armoire with safe. Updated Bathroom & furniture. Comfy bed. Clean. Convenient office area. Room was nicer than expected. Breakfast was very bad - few choices & everything gone before end of BF time period. Hot coffee/tea not available in lobby after 9AM. No table in room. There is a desk though, and some space on top of the large TV unit.
Location good, rooms good; inexpensive and clean Hot tub and juice dispensing machine (at breakfast) broken for days and staff totally helpless and ineffective at addressing -- my suggestion that they go and buy juice in bottles for breakfast was met with nervous smiles... Probably not their fault (i.e. management source of problems...) but they are the representatives of the business and were not impressive.
Our room was clean, and most things met my expectations. The water temperature in the shower was TERRIBLE. After adjusting the temperature to a comfortable level, it would fluctuate to very hot, then back to where it had been, then to very cold, etc. About 25% of the time it was almost scalding hot, and about 25% of the time it was freezing cold. I talked to the front desk about it three times. They said they had been having issues with the boiler, new plumbing, etc. Showering took about 50% longer than it should have because I couldn't stand under the water about 50% of the time.
Close to restaurants and stores Dirty bed covers Had to unscrew bulb on lamp to turn it off Bed VERY uncomfortable TV kept losing signal Train right outside our window Hallway noise at all hours (seemed to be a "by the hour" type establishment as well as a nightly one) Above us sounded like elephant herd migrating Breakfast was terrible (powdered eggs, waxy mini donuts, fake juice, white bread and Styrofoam plates/glasses) We asked to change rooms after night 1. We were told ok, after breakfast. After breakfast, we were told we would have to wait until after 3. We never got to change rooms. Not the quality we thought we were getting. I think the property recently came under new ownership...
We were happy with the hot breakfast. The manager reception In the evenings was a welcome surprise. The space in the room, a king suite, was nice but would have been nice to have more than one chair at the table. The pool seemed to have too much chlorine.
Location was great!!
Location was great! Bathroom very run down, stove didn't work needs to be updated!
Very helpful staff, including the GM, who did his best to resolve our problem - booking.com sent a reservation for a wrong room to the hotel. Great breakfast and after-ski snacks, pool and hot tub, good accommodations. 30 mins to Alta.
Super nice. Friendly staff. Flight was cancelled and they were really helpful.
Easy to park. The staff was excellent. Our room was very nice. Well kept and clean place. Would recommend to anyone.
We enjoyed the room, the view was great of the city, and we could walk around to where we wanted to go. The bath tub didn't drain and so we showered in a tub full of water.
Bed was very comfortable room was very spacious Lots of noise from the parking lot area at 11pm sounded like a street sweeper going through the parking lot
Rooms are spacious and clean Front Desk staff where not very knowledgable
My family really liked the pool and fitness area. We even ordered poolside meal service which was delicious. There was a snotty lady working in the fine gift shop who gave my 3 year old and myself the stink eye as my daughter hugged the bulldog sitting at the gift shop entrance
Very clean Not enough parking
No continental breakfast
Safe and clean Needs to be updated
The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The elevators were broken and we were not informed about it after waiting for a long while with all of our luggage we decided to use the stairs. I understand things happen but a common courtesy would have had front desk tell us and offerd any help with our luggage. My neighbors were very loud and obnoxious how ever I did not call lobby which is my fault but possibly having security do a walk through through the halls at night would be a good idea for this hotel.
Clean rooms, absolutely immaculate grounds. All trees, bushes, and flowers were trimmed to perfection. Nothing
Great hotel with a great staff. One of the best values in the country.
It was an absolutely beautiful and amazing hotel. It's right in the city within walking distance of great places to have dinner and drinks.
very good service, friendly staff, decorated beautifully for the holiday season. great location, close to everything. we did not find an in-room coffee maker, which we would expect for our junior suite.
The hotel was immaculate. The rooms were superb in size and furnishings. It was a very good value for such luxury. The grounds were also beautiful.
It was awesome. The staff went waaay above and beyond what was expected. Are you kidding me??? How about this....We couldn't stay forever???
Beautiful grounds and pool, Princess rooms, and very friendly attentive staff. Jack in hospitality greeted us, gave us great recommendations, and went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and made us feel at home. Can't speak highly enough for the amaxing and genuine staff. Truely a luxury hotel with first class amenities. Only positive things to say.
We loved the elegant atmosphere and the professional staff. The spa area was especially nice. We thought the parking was hard to follow.
The staff was amazing! They were all so polite and just wonderful. The room was fantastic as well! Nothing!
Clean, modern interior. Great price. Spacious room and friendly staff. Room 508 had a little bit of deferred maintenance. Can't complain for the price I paid, but expect more from a Sheraton property.
Beds were horribly soft.
The room was clean and neat, had everything we needed. If you're a young couple I'd advise you to try a different place. My fiancé and I are 20 and 21 so we're very young and there was no one there around our age in the slightest. Which for me usually would not have been a problem except for how the lobby was so beautiful yet smelled like an retirement home, and to the point it was so overwhelming I got a headache because of it. And anyone who knows me personally knows I love old people but the hotel is more so fitted to an older age group. Also the rooms were very small for what I paid for. On top of that I originally booked a room with a King bed I was told my room was not cleaned yet mind you it was almost 5pm. So the lady at the front Desk said she'd "upgrade" me to a two queen room with a balcony and a "view". WRONG our room was facing the back of a building, no view whatsoever. Overall if your in your 20s I don't recommend this hotel unfortunately.
Great experience overall! Nice rooms, comfy beds, great location close to everything downtown. The property was clean and the lobby smells amazing! Service at the bar was great! The bathtub in our room was not flat bottomed but curved and very difficult to stand in. Seems quite dangerous in fact. The door to our room was right next to another rooms door and all morning heard the bellman knock, then heard people go in and out all motioning long.
Great view to watch the fireworks. Nothing.
The spacious room. The long walk to our room.
She ratings are on e of my favorite hotel chains. When we got there, we got an upgrade and got a spectacular view of the city. Loved it
The room was clean and updated, needs an updated tub though. The bed was comfy and tv was big. The tub and shower were not as clean as the rest of the room; would have liked a more updated and bigger tub. There was a dog that kept barking, I understand the hotel is pet friendly but it was annoying because it barked for a long time at night and again early morning. Maybe get thicker walls or something to muffle the sound? Also heard room cleaning and vacuum very early above us.
Accommodations were comfortable, inviting, and very convenient to Salt Palace convention center. Staff was wonderful. Service at restaurant was slow and sometimes absent. Disappointing, because the food was excellent.
Clean but with a definite 'run down' feeling, operated on a shoe string and it shows..convenient to convention center if there is no other choice.Personel is friendly and helpful, doing the best they can .. Noisy air conditioning and fan blowing in your face at the desk...sleep number bed a disappointment..TV set far from its prime...dinner quality worth forgetting at best..
Love the location, very close to Salt Palace. The pool area was also nice. Not worth the price for anything other than location. Bathroom was pretty dirty, the room was nothing special. Our mini fridge was leaking when we checked in and the floor was wet. They sent a new one right up which was great. I wish the floor elevators went straight to the parking garage. It was mediocre for my expectation of a 4 star hotel.
Rooms were clean and neat Was told that there was a airport shuttle....not Check in was @ late! Got into room @ 5. Had to put luggage into closet by front desk while we walked around downtown, waiting for a phone call from them stating that our room was ready. We were not the only ones either. Was told that our stay included the breakfast, found out after we had already had eaten....
Breakfast buffet was quick and very good for this kind of meal. Waitperson was very polite and helpful. Clerks at reception desk also were great.
Excelent facilities, particularly the gym. Good restaurant as well. Very helpful staff. Great city centre location The outside looks little sad, but once inside is fine
The hotel met my needs and the location was perfect. The hotel staff was great and the parking was excellent. I would expect the Radisson to be a very nice hotel. The SLC Radisson was not a very nice hotel. The room was just an average room with sub standard furniture requiring replacement. I had a better room at a two star hotel. I don’t think the hotel should have charged to park at the hotel ($24.00 for two days was excessive).
Very good central location, the motorized bed system to get a better confort was astonishing.
Clean place with friendly staff. They even threw in a free breakfast with our stay. It was also an easy walk to the mall. The room had cool art but, the heater was very loud. Something wrong with the fan. Also no bathroom fan oddly enough.
So close to the Salt Palace convention center. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were smaller than expected, with no microwave.
great downtown location, close to it all would have liked a fridge in the room, other then that wonderful
Friendly staff convenient location clean facilities I paid for a king spa suite. They did not have the room I PAID for when I got there. They charged my card twice!. They put me in a 'spa room' that had been taken off the 'list' because it was being maintained for someone smoking in the room. Leaving my clothes smelling like smoke and aggravating my sinus. There was no chair becaise the previous guestswho smoked in the room, had broken the chair also. This room should not have been given to me. Overall the communication between this site and the hotel obviously was not clear. Leaving the room I paid for, booked to someone else. This has been more of a pain than it was worth. Also my card was charged for more than my agreed ammount of $127. They charged 140.... TWICE! Overall highly unlikely I'll use this site again for my hotel booking. Very unsatisfied.
Breakfast included. Decent selection. Room smelled like a smoker. Bed could have used some padding. No couch for kid to sleep on.
Lobby, sundry shop, room, pool & hot tub, sauna. Close parking. Made use of all of it. Hot tub is indoors, but has great vantage point into the world outside. Room was great: just nothing in particular I need to say about it. :) Nothing about the place made me unhappy.
The room was very comfortable, especially the beds . It was was clean. There was plenty of room to spread out. The breakfast food was not good. Most of it tasted and looked like it sat around for a long time. The table area is tight, especially with many families with small kids. Fortunately there are restaurants close by!
The pool was the perfect temperature and all sidewalks were crystal clean after the snowfall.
Great breakfast every morning
Price and service
Everbody was friendly and accammodating.
Nice enough place. Good pool. Rooms clean. Overpriced in the summer. Staff lied to me about room availability. Had booked the rooms for a week and then received an invoice the second morning. Was told nothing was available and they were sorry. Then I booked a room online and the staff proceeded to give me attitude. Breakfast setup in a way that it can't accommodate the number of guests. Parking lot is a hangout for homeless folks. Stayed there many times in the last few months but will never go back.
Just a great place to stay, and good location. No complaints at all.
I felt that the room was very clean and spacious, with a simple but stylish decor. The price was also much more reasonable than other hotels in the downtown area, as there was no major fluctuation between the weekend and daily rates. The continental breakfast was subpar, despite being hyped upon check-in as one of the hotel's best features. I also had issues connecting to the internet, and had to cycle through several different networks before finally staying connected.
There breakfast is too notch!!!!
From water with some fruits at the lobby to housekeeping job, we could tell this place really care about their customers. Breakfast was wonderful, and they have indoor pool and sauna which were nice. Most staff were very friendly. Walking distance to the train station which you can take to the center of town free!
Nice place, great location, has been recently updated with décor, bed was very comfortable, room was clean, free internet with good service Staff was knowledgeable but a little slow, price was a high versus other locations of similar quality, not a modern or chic building but very serviceable.
I liked the location and friendly staff The old rooms and broken heater, loud refrigerator. Not the cleanest bedding.
It was in the heart of Salt Lake City across of Temple Square, across of Abravanel Hall, and City Creek Shopping Center. The free fare zone helped to get around using the train in front of the hotel and several buses nearby. Nice view of the city from the hotel. I found a few stains on the upper part of the shower curtain, lack of space to put luggage down, and a cold draft coming from the balcony door even though it was closed. This was mainly due to the snow storm though.
Everything we came to Salt Lake City for is within walking distance of the Salt Lake Plaza & at a very reasonable price. This was my second visit & would stay again when I return to town. It would be nice if parking were included in the rate, but the $5.00 fee is reasonable & parking is secure.
Within walking distance to city creek Room was very small. Run down. Needs up dated. Not worth the money. Water hot then cold in shower. Staff was ok.
VERRY CONVENENT FOR MY STAY AS I WAS IN THE DAYS OF 47 PARADE AND I LIVE IN CACHE VALLY. I BOOKED AT THE RIGHT TIME. GOOD RATES .
Unplanned overnight in Salt Lake due to flight cancellation. Hotel is ideally located (really is adjacent to Temple Square and City Creek). Squeaky clean. Deco lifted from a set of "The Americans," or maybe something five or ten years earlier. Not old, just old.
Great location! The water in the morning would be hot and then cold- not very comfortable!
Nice place, great location and walking distance to shopping mall. Hotel room clean and spacious.
Conveniently located next to Temple Square, within walking distance of the convention center. Easy access to lots of local restaurants/shops/bars. The staff was always very nice, and the light rail from the airport stops directly in front of the hotel. My room also had a great view of the Temple Square area and the mountains in the background. Not a very big room, although I didn't need a lot of space as a solo business traveler. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in, but it could have been much worse. They offered the option to not wash the sheets every day if desired (in order to save water and resources), which I appreciated, but did not offer to do the same for the towels.
The location is great. Light rail stop right out front. Half a block to the convention center. Only feet from the Salt Lake Temple if you are interested in sightseeing
It was clean. The staff was courteous, friendly, helpful and well informed. It was close to Temple Square and Shopping! Great atmosphere! No microwave or refrigerator in room. Also I don't like that they charge you for bottled water, $3.00 seems very high!
I always stay at the Hilton, it's great location and pretty luxury althought there's many more luxury hotels, Hilton is great in price and location, close to bars and City Creek Mall The extra charge for parking should be included with the stay
The view Bathroom Filthy carpets Dated rooms
When I was working I stayed at this hotel year after year, and appreciated the little extras they had. This room was very basic, no extras or frills - but it was close to the political convention I was attending.
The daily parking seemed a little steep given both the parking garage and surrounding streets were basically empty.
The firepits and lounge area No outside pool or hot tub. Room wasn't as nice as I was expecting for the money.
Rooms are clean and comfortable Room was not ready when I arrived
I didn't like that you had to pay for parking each day and you had to pay for WiFi.
The location was excellent and the facilities were very nice. The young man who first met us as we drove up was very, very friendly and helpful. We had trouble getting connected to the Wi-Fi. When we did (with the help of their out-sourced IT) it was a very weak signal. Also, when we got to the hotel, the place seemed a bit chaotic with wedding guests, wedding parties and tons of people clogging the entry way.
Restaurant was very good - except for the dogs. Staff was helpful and friendly Dogs
Room, location, bed, view Girl that checked us in put us in the wrong room and when told did it again. I went to remedy and was told that hotels.com could not reserve the room I requested and that I would need to request refund from them. I went back to wrong room, called hotels.com and miraculously the correct room opened up! Yeah for hotels.com
The staff was so nice and very accommodating! Their Bambora resturant was amazing! The best food I've ever had! It was so good that we ate there for dinner and breakfast. Wine/social hour was very relaxing. It was a fabulous get away!!!
Location, friendly staff, decor Room 708 must be very close to ventsbof some sort because there is a hum going on the whole day and night, which could affect quality or sleep.
Loved it here! Great place to stay! The staff is so friendly, definitely has a high end feel. Furnishings are very nice and unique layout. Very clean. Bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend getting room service. The restaurant in the hotel is to die for. They accept pets and welcome them with open arms. Valet service for $24 per night is very worth it! Lovely hotel!
Well decorated, nice overall. Other people's showers so loud it kept me up, knocking on my door when I have do not disturb tag hanging, if you arrive late at night your reservation may disappear, parking is stupid expensive considering cost of room, no parking for large vehicles.
It was clean and centrally located. TL;DR We were overcharged for the room. The room was dark and tiny. We were "upgraded" to a smaller, darker room. Don't stay here. Paying via priceline was $40 more than the hotel website advertised. On a night when the hotel was nearly empty, we were given an awkward corner room that was poorly lit and the size of a closet. Front desk was nice enough to "upgrade" us.... to a smaller and darker yet equally uncomfortable corner room. The robes were threadbare, faded leopard print, and gross. It was so terrible that we questioned whether we were on Candid Camera. I've been a lifelong Kimpton devotee but never again. There are so many great hotel options in SLC. Don't waste your time or money here.
My husband and I enjoy staying here because it's always modern, clean, sophisticated and welcoming. They are so friendly and the rooms have these fun and creative amenities, like yoga mats & animal print bathrobes. We often have overnight lay-overs and roadtrip pit-stops in Salt Lake City and the Kimpton Monaco never disappoints. No complaints
I would definitely recommend it . I am going to stay more over there Everything was great.
close to airport, comfortable beds, good Chinese restaurant. Nice place to stay during my transit.
The hotel was very accommodating. Upon are arrival in Salt Lake City we called the hotel for pick up and they were there within 7 minutes. Our reservation was made over the internet so checkin was harmless. We were given two keys to the room and also two vouchers for the included breakfast the next morning. The breakfast is eaten at a sit down restaurant attached to the hotel. Their food and service was excellent. Great place to stay while in SLC.
Checking in and out was smooth. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Hallways felt like they might fall through. A little uncomfortable.
convenient location and great price, free upgrade to suite on arrival for a six night stay.
Comfortable beds, close to the airport and complimentary breakfast. One of our two rooms smelled as if the floor was moped with dirty soap water. Difficult to tolerate the odor. Also, not enough towels in the rooms which were very worn and rough.
Our King suite room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle service was prompt and only a 15 minute ride from the hotel to the airport. The hot breakfast included in the room price was very good.
Clean & quiet A little run down
Most of the staff was friendly. Room was clean although a little on the old side. Needs an update. Small but comfortable. Reasonably priced. Almost no parking for the guests. I think they rent their "unused spaces" as long term parking for the airport. Had to park on the street, but no problem. Parking, tv remote did not work.
Price was great, shuttle from the airport was really convenient. I wish I would have gotten the young man's name who drove the shuttle and worked the front desk that evening (December 13th) because he was terrific at his job and was an asset to this hotel. He was a true hospitality professional. Beds were comfortable, and the room was clean.
I had just had surgery and was on crutches. luckily there were some nice people staying there as well because the staff didn't seem to have time to assist me. even though it appeared they were doing absolutely nothing but watching me try to hobble out to the shuttle with my luggage.
The personal was nice but The place need to clean more all the facilites The pool, you don't have nice lobby to relax, the hallways smell bad, was dust in all the furniture in the lobby
The paint was new, but that was about it. Everything was out of the mid 1990s, including an old bubble tube TV and, seemingly, mattress. Worst night of sleep I've had in ages.
Bed was comfy...perfect for two. City view at night was amazing. Originally paid for the high rise but they tried to put me on the third floor. Desk worker Sage was very kind and helpful in getting us into a more appropriate room on the 14th floor. Small bathroom....small bathtub. Very few options for "gift store." 7 dollars for a bowl of cereal!!
Bed was awful. Lobby was stark and uninviting.
Bed was very comfy and big for me, my wife and out 7 month old little boy. Staff was nice and helpful. Had a great view from the 9th floor. Location was awesome. For a last minute trip, this place a gold to stay at. The bathroom was small, I have stayed at cheaper places with bigger bathrooms. Breakfast was over priced. It was cheaper for my family to go else where for food.
The location was great. $15.00 for parking and no free wifi.
Clean, great location You are required to pay a $15 parking fee per day to use the only parking structure available on the premises.
this is one of the best hotels in SLC, the location, amenities and friendliness of staff is outstanding
The rooms were all updated beautifully with modern bathrooms and very comfortable bedding. Would definitely stay again !!
the staff was great , the bed comfortable , room was nice parking was difficult , room service was a little slow
Great location and the view from my window was amazing. Very friendly staff. Clean comfortable bed. For the price the room was small, No spa, No coffee in the room. Not a hot tub, jacuzzi to be found. Room was hot. I was a very sad girl.
Convenient to all the downtown sights. Back patio is right on Gallivan Center plaza. Great views of the mountains. Cheerful service from everyone, from valet to housekeeping to front desk. Dinner at on-site restaurant was just okay.
The hotel itself is nice. It's comfortable, clean. Seems best for business or couples. The indoor pool was fun with a city view. We had a few problems with our room upon arrival. Online we had booked a room with a sofa bed, and the microwave/fridge. The room they gave us had no sofa bed for our kids, so they switched us to a room with no fridge/microwave. The staff weren't very friendly. When asking questions about breakfast, facilities, getting extra blankets and pillows etc. they were rude and treated us as if we were being incovenient with all these "silly" questions. The pillows were miserable! Down and feather pillows provide no support so it made sleeping on a nice mattress difficult.
close to family we were viviting
Beds were super comfy. Continental breakfast was really good. The customer service was great, very friendly front desk. The poll was open until 11, which our kids loved! The shower was filthy and there was blood on the blanket of our bed. The main hallway carpet was disgusting.
friendly helpful staff decent breakfast with fresh fruit hot-tub worked well nice shower in room new paint on inside walls no flat screen TV no bed spreads sauna did not get hot enough outside steps were cracked motel looked and felt old and shabby
We'd stay there again.
That a clean hotel with internet was right across the street. The door handles, toilet handle and mirrors had dirty fingerprints, bed linens extremely wrinkled, no comforter or bedspread, two of the three lamps in the room didn't work, homeless and others loitering around in the parking lot, no one could get me onto the internet. Even the tech support phone numbers were worthless as their voice mailboxes were full! The next day, I went across the street to LaQuinta.
It was ok. I like the breakfast that was provided by the hotel. II was not happy with the cleaness, because the towels had other people hairs. The blankets were dirty with dirty spots. The carpet was really dirty too. I think the carpet need to be clean or change.
Not much. Wish I'd spent extra $20 for more comfortable stay Location. Didn't feel safe. Transients walking in freely. No soap. Felt like everything was dirty
Good, clean, large rooms. Convenient location. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff.
I can't think of anything that I did like It was not clean the night table lamps lightbulb was painted pink The bed was miserable the fact that the whole hotel is pretty run down and the fact that the doors locks are broken makes there no visitors after 10pm rule pointless
Cost was good Air filter was dusty and so was carpet.
Do not stay here smells like urine! Also I was told this is where the working girls bring their johns! Everything!!!!
Nothing i didnt like a thing! There were homeless people everywhere and could very inside at any time. Our room was right in front of the door We could hear everything all night long. The neighborhood was terrible i had to check in my car constantly. The bed was rock hard and the view out the window was a brick wall. Everything in the room was completely out dated. Overall the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel.
It was a such a great room for the price, most rooms that size in any other hotel in Salt Lake would have been twice the cost.
Location close to ski areas and price Limited TV selection and internet was very slow
Rooms were clean. Microwave, fridge, hairdryer, and coffee maker all worked without a problem. Bed very comfortable. The room smelled clean. The Light Rail Station next door is surprising quiet and very convenient for getting to downtown. Lots of "street people" wandering through the hotel parking lot which is separated from the light rail station next door by a chain link fence, so definitely lock your vehicles. The street people loitering in the area are sketchy at best and sometimes very noisy and annoying in the evening, but they usually leave the area by 10 pm, so sleeping is not a problem.
I'm at a loss. I guess the staff was helpful. To start, you can't find the place. It is grungy, dirty and sketchy. Fridge so gross I didn't want put my food in it. Extremely outdated. Breakfast was mouldy. Just imagine the theme song from American Horror Story playing as you walk in.
It was mentioned on the signup page there is a complimentary fitness access. Upon arrival I had learned that the membership was no longer offered. This information could have been updated in the website and may be reflected on the pricing as well
King beds were sold out, so they upgraded is to a suite. Very clean big room. So nice that I booked again on kayak for a 2nd night for the same low price while standing at the lobby desk. Employee said it was no problem to keep us in our current suite. Very satisfied with our stay. Minor observations: bed was too firm, but plenty of pillows to help. Other guests smoked and pulled chairs under front check-in area until after midnight. Just a weird scene as the first impression for the hotel. They were nice though.
Rooms were clean and recently remodeled. Decent breakfast. Room was not ready when we arrived. A very frustrating experience as it took us over an hour to switch to not once but TWICE. We booked a king whiich apparently they did not have ready when we arrived (or any king room at all for that matter). An ill-prepared staff who didn't know how things ran. The hallway still smelled of cigarettes.
