Pros: very good service, friendly staff, decorated beautifully for the holiday season. great location, close to everything.
Cons: we did not find an in-room coffee maker, which we would expect for our junior suite.
Pros: Beautiful grounds and pool, Princess rooms, and very friendly attentive staff. Jack in hospitality greeted us, gave us great recommendations, and went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and made us feel at home. Can't speak highly enough for the amaxing and genuine staff. Truely a luxury hotel with first class amenities.
Cons: Only positive things to say.

Pros: The staff was really friendly and helpful. Although our receipt said we couldn't book until 3PM, they let us get a room around 9AM because we got their so early and were super tired.
Cons: Some of the sheets smelled a little bit like bleach.

Pros: we liked the location of the hotel and once we got a room things began to improve.
Cons: when we checked in they assigned us a room that was occupied. our keys failed to work and it was not a good experience.
Pros: Good location, friendly staff.
Cons: Limited parking in front
Pros: The rooms were spacious, clean, well designed and comfortable. Loved everything about the rooms. I would stay in the facility over and over again because of the rooms & facilities.
Cons: The check-in process took me a half hour even though I had already booked online. The staff was disorganized and poorly trained with the check in procedure. They were dressed like they were part of the cleaning crew. Granted I checked in after 10pm.
The breakfast is chaotic. The space where food is served is very small. Dishes were at the wrong end of the service area and so people were going every which way. Food was good. Flow is poorly planned.
Four story U shaped building that surrounds a year around outdoor heated pool, hot tub and BBQ area. The main floor offers a lobby with commanding mountain views, private meeting rooms and prefunction space as well as breakfast, HBAR and fitness room. The hotel is conveniently located 20 minutes from SLC airport and downtown SLC. Utah's best skiing is a short 20 minute drive up the mountain
Pros: The hotel and its staff were very nice and welcoming, even accommodated a late checkout request, so I was pleased.
Cons: I was surprised this location didn't have a shuttle to the airport and yet airline crews were staying there - maybe special arrangements are made for them. Other hotels in the area do offer shuttles.
Pros: The location of the hotel was outstanding. Literally across the street from the sports arena and just a block away from the Salt Palace convention center. In addition, the staff was always very attentive to whatever we needed and whatever questions we had. So while it was a business trip and I had zero say as to where we were staying, I was very impressed and would absolutely stay there again next time I'm in SLC.
Cons: It was a new hotel (I think 5 weeks old) when we stayed so they were still working out the kinks. The room phone wouldn't work except for when on speaker phone, the thermostat unit wouldn't drop past 70 for the A/C setting and the position of the shower head to the shower door created inevitable run off onto the bathroom floor (nothing a towel couldn't soak up but, you know, still a curious choice). But those are very nit-picky things and will easily be overlooked the next time I'm in SLC because I will be staying there.
Exclusively located in downtown Salt Lake City, the Hyatt House is just steps away from the Vivint Smart Home Arena, the Salt Palace Convention Center, and Gateway Shopping Mall. Our location also offers a convenient location to the City Creek Mall, Temple Square, LDS Conference Center, and the Family Research Genealogy Library. The Hyatt House is located within 30 minutes to major ski resorts in Park City, Deer Valley and Cottonwood Canyons, which feature the “best snow on earth”.
Pros: The staff on hand went overboard to take care of us. Our room requested was not available. I was recovering from surgery so they upgraded our room and we had a most comfortable stay. We really appreciated their kindness and quick assistance. Thank you.

Cons: Head desk lady seemed annoyed with any family at the hotel she didn't hide it well she didn't like families there. The pool only stays open until 10:00. The rooms lighting is annoying the bathroom lights wouldn't work for some reason, the glass sliding door into the bathroom was horrible once it was shut it would take me a grown man to open it for the kids and my wife. Breakfast was so so, there is much better breakfasts out there I have stayed at the Hyatt House just 20 minutes away from the hotel and it has better amenities and breakfast. Also two of my children forgot toothbrushes so they went down to get one and they charged them for a toothbrush I mean for $160 a night that is ridiculous. Also we pulled out the hide a bed and there was a huge hairball from the wash or something it was pretty gross.
Pros: Everything was nearby and that you could order from the kitchen 24/7 super easy.
Cons: Pay to park, I am already paying for a room and taxes and then you charge me to park at your hotel.
Pros: The room is spacious, and the furniture is arranged well. The bed is comfortable, the study desk conducive to getting work done. The breakfast is excellent. The location, near the Convention Center, the light rail, and restaurants and shops is great.
Cons: The fitness room has old equipment that does not work well. These are heavily used, so it would be a good idea to replace them.
Pros: Nice look, new
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The staff was outstanding! Stella and Aple were terrific!
Pros: Everything was excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind and accommodating. The facilities were very clean, modern, and sleek. And the location is incredibly convenient.
Cons: The parking situation was confusing since I've never been in the area and arrived in the dead of the night. There weren't clear instructions pasted anywhere explaining what to do.
Pros: Room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was great!
Cons: Extra 10 bucks to park
Pros: Coffee and hot chocolate bar!!
Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel.
Rooms were amazing - huge couch and new furniture!
Cons: Available parking was limited in the paid lot behind the hotel.
Pros: It was very clean, friendly, and quite and breakfast was great
Pros: Staff was friendly and efficient. Nice rooms. Excellent central location for doing business.
Pros: The Room was massive. It have a great living room area with couches dry bar and fridge. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfy. The hot breakfast was tasty and had a great verity. The hotel was close to the Gateway and downtown. I was very pleased with this purchase.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was you couldn't get beer or drinks after 11 P.M.
The hotel is a 6 story building with rooms that are well equipped for business and leisure travelers seeking a true downtown location in the heart of retail shops. Complimentary Gallery Kitchen Breakfast, featuring build your own breakfast bowls, waffles, French toast, pancakes and steel cut oatmeal, available daily.
Cons: Girl that checked us in put us in the wrong room and when told did it again. I went to remedy and was told that hotels.com could not reserve the room I requested and that I would need to request refund from them. I went back to wrong room, called hotels.com and miraculously the correct room opened up!
Yeah for hotels.com
Pros: It was clean and centrally located.
Cons: TL;DR We were overcharged for the room. The room was dark and tiny. We were "upgraded" to a smaller, darker room. Don't stay here.
Paying via priceline was $40 more than the hotel website advertised. On a night when the hotel was nearly empty, we were given an awkward corner room that was poorly lit and the size of a closet. Front desk was nice enough to "upgrade" us.... to a smaller and darker yet equally uncomfortable corner room. The robes were threadbare, faded leopard print, and gross. It was so terrible that we questioned whether we were on Candid Camera.
I've been a lifelong Kimpton devotee but never again. There are so many great hotel options in SLC. Don't waste your time or money here.
Pros: My husband and I enjoy staying here because it's always modern, clean, sophisticated and welcoming. They are so friendly and the rooms have these fun and creative amenities, like yoga mats & animal print bathrobes. We often have overnight lay-overs and roadtrip pit-stops in Salt Lake City and the Kimpton Monaco never disappoints.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Location, friendly staff, decor
Cons: Room 708 must be very close to ventsbof some sort because there is a hum going on the whole day and night, which could affect quality or sleep.
Pros: Well decorated, nice overall.
Cons: Other people's showers so loud it kept me up, knocking on my door when I have do not disturb tag hanging, if you arrive late at night your reservation may disappear, parking is stupid expensive considering cost of room, no parking for large vehicles.
Pros: Restaurant was very good - except for the dogs.
Staff was helpful and friendly
Pros: Loved it here! Great place to stay! The staff is so friendly, definitely has a high end feel. Furnishings are very nice and unique layout. Very clean. Bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend getting room service. The restaurant in the hotel is to die for. They accept pets and welcome them with open arms. Valet service for $24 per night is very worth it! Lovely hotel!
Pros: I would definitely recommend it . I am going to stay more over there
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: The staff was so nice and very accommodating! Their Bambora resturant was amazing! The best food I've ever had! It was so good that we ate there for dinner and breakfast. Wine/social hour was very relaxing. It was a fabulous get away!!!

Pros: Fabulous staff. Great pool. Comfy beds and spotless room. By far the best complimentary breakfast i have ever had..
Pros: Beds were comfortable..clean room..nice staff will definitely be back..
Cons: They posted rules about no kids under 5 in the hot tub..yet there were toddlers in diapers in the tub..should've had someone checking...dangerous
Pros: My fridge didn't work, but the staff was prompt and exchanged fridge immediately.

Pros: Comfortable facilities. Includes breakfast and light dinner daily. Very good for the price
Cons: The sinks outside the bathroom, in the room, was an irritation with small children sleeping. Obviously nothing to be done about it, but wish that we could have had a closed door and lights for using the sink after kids in bed.
Pros: Clean rooms, good sized pool and spa, good meals.
Cons: One single small cramped elevator, wicked hot inside the elevator.
Pros: I had to find a hotel quickly due to repairs going at home. This location was close, room was clean, the staff was great. They provide a light dinner as well as breakfast. Both meals were good.
Pros: Excellent location, very close to shopping, several restaurants (though the facility serves a wonderful breakfast and dinner), and the medical facility we were there to visit. Easy access to freeway. Definitely would stay again.
Cons: Elevator is centrally located but far from the rooms on either end, which was a bit of a problem for my elderly mother.
Pros: When I called with questions about my reservation the staff member was so nice! He made me even more excited to stay with you guys. Our room was a lot bigger than we thought it would be and we wished we could have stayed longer than just one night! The free breakfast was a HUGE plus for us and it tasted wonderful! The gentleman helping serve breakfast was also very nice to my spouse and I.
Cons: Some of the decor or the carpet in our room seemed a little dated and had some issues but overall it was fine!
Pros: I loved the breakfast, light dinner, coffee machine in lobby, good Wi-Fi, local shuttle. Great value.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Didn't get to visit pool or fitness center, but I'm sure they're nice as well.
Cons: Housekeeping was non existent. Stayed 3 nights and never had the trash emptied or linens exchanged.
Pros: Clean, spacious, quiet, good food, great value, friendly staff, comfortable beds
Cons: Nothing; perfect hotel stay.
Pros: Easily accessible and convenient to airport, shopping and ski areas (especially if you have a car). Friendly and helpful staff. Large rooms with WiFi included. Good breakfast.
Cons: Immediate neighborhood a bit dreary.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, comfortable rooms. Ample complimentary breakfast.

Cons: Dinner at on-site restaurant was just okay.
Pros: Great location and the view from my window was amazing. Very friendly staff. Clean comfortable bed.
Cons: For the price the room was small, No spa, No coffee in the room. Not a hot tub, jacuzzi to be found. Room was hot. I was a very sad girl.
Pros: The hotel itself is nice. It's comfortable, clean. Seems best for business or couples. The indoor pool was fun with a city view.
Cons: We had a few problems with our room upon arrival. Online we had booked a room with a sofa bed, and the microwave/fridge. The room they gave us had no sofa bed for our kids, so they switched us to a room with no fridge/microwave.
The staff weren't very friendly. When asking questions about breakfast, facilities, getting extra blankets and pillows etc. they were rude and treated us as if we were being incovenient with all these "silly" questions.
The pillows were miserable! Down and feather pillows provide no support so it made sleeping on a nice mattress difficult.
Pros: the staff was great , the bed comfortable , room was nice
Cons: parking was difficult , room service was a little slow
Pros: The rooms were all updated beautifully with modern bathrooms and very comfortable bedding. Would definitely stay again !!

Bad location and a room that smelled worse than a dirty sock is the nicest way I can describe our stay here. We left after one night thereby sacrificing our budget to stay somewhere else. Of course all of the disclaimers say you are not allowed a refund for any reason so I guess I'm SOL. I do not plan on booking with priceline again.
Pros: That we left it in the rear view window after a miserable night
Cons: Location and room.
Booked a non-smoking room. Hotel put us in a nonsmoking room, claiming that priceline didn't provide them any data that I require a non-smoking room. Hotel provided us their last available non-smoking room, so it was ok. In the future, I am unlikely to use priceline as the savings are not worth the potential of this requirement not being honored.
Cons: Hotel is a bit run down for a Hampton Inn

Pros: I've stayed here before and was greatly surprised how nice it is now.
Pros: Super nice. Friendly staff. Flight was cancelled and they were really helpful.
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and very clean.
Cons: The elevators were broken and we were not informed about it after waiting for a long while with all of our luggage we decided to use the stairs. I understand things happen but a common courtesy would have had front desk tell us and offerd any help with our luggage.
My neighbors were very loud and obnoxious how ever I did not call lobby which is my fault but possibly having security do a walk through through the halls at night would be a good idea for this hotel.
Pros: Easy to park. The staff was excellent. Our room was very nice. Well kept and clean place. Would recommend to anyone.
Pros: We enjoyed the room, the view was great of the city, and we could walk around to where we wanted to go.
Cons: The bath tub didn't drain and so we showered in a tub full of water.
Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean
Cons: Front Desk staff where not very knowledgable
Pros: Safe and clean
Cons: Needs to be updated
Cons: No continental breakfast
Pros: Clean rooms, absolutely immaculate grounds. All trees, bushes, and flowers were trimmed to perfection.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable room was very spacious
Cons: Lots of noise from the parking lot area at 11pm sounded like a street sweeper going through the parking lot
Pros: My family really liked the pool and fitness area. We even ordered poolside meal service which was delicious.
Cons: There was a snotty lady working in the fine gift shop who gave my 3 year old and myself the stink eye as my daughter hugged the bulldog sitting at the gift shop entrance

Pros: Solid all the way around. Close to airport but not an airport hotel
Cons: Nothing to report
Pros: Location is very good. Near the light rail and easy to get around. The room was pleasant.
Cons: Room could be quieter. Noise from the street & kids running in the halls.

Pros: Even though they were under construction the rooms were gorgeous the beds comfortable in the staff very polite
Cons: That the building was under construction
Pros: A bit dated, but very comfortable. Clean and nicely equipped.
Cons: No signage on building made it difficult to locate. Apparently new signs have been ordered and will be up soon.
Pros: The staff in the evening were wonderfully helpful and accommodating. They think of anything skiers need and have it there. Even if you don't ski, this is a great place to stay. And, they're cookies are awesome!
We didn't want to rent a car or drive to the mountains. They have a shuttle that will take you anywhere in a 5 mile range and the morning driver is awesome. We were skiing Big and Little Cottonwoods, so the 960 and 962 buses stop at Sandy Civic Center which is about 3 miles away. Each day we took the shuttle to and from the Bus depot, the ride is @ 45 minutes to the resorts.
If you want to head into SLC, you can take the hi-speed train from the same station. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping around the area. We walked to many places. It's safe, clean, well located, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The hotel was not ready. It's in the middle of a renovation and you can tell they are trying to hold on to the 3 star rating; which it is not right now. I rarely provide reviews but i can tell you they are trying to be a nicer hotel but they just aren't there. For example, one of the party forgot a toothbrush and almost all other hotels i stay in offer a complimentary one. This hotel told us it's $3 at the little store in the lobby. Ridiculous. IMO they are simply riding their name 'Coutyard by Marriott' and just aren't cutting the mustard.
Cons: No air conditioning - only the fan was working. It was doable so I didn't complain until I checked out. They were very appologetic and seemed anxious to get it fixed.
Pros: The pool was great and the outdoor fire pit was nice
Pros: This hotel was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and the location was awsome. I will definitely be staying there again.

Pros: My room was very comfortable, upscale even. The fireplace was nice, the shower was phenomenal.
Cons: After I had been in my room for a few hours, there was a knock on my door. It was someone else who had been checked into my room. He went on his way and about fifteen minutes later, I got a call from the front desk who were clearly confused about who I was and why I was in the room they had checked me in to. After that had been resolved, I called down to front desk to reserve a spot on the airport shuttle. After a slightly awkward conversation, she took down my name and room number and told me I was good to go. When I went down the next morning for my shuttle reservation, I was told the shuttle had left without me because I wasn't on the list.
Cons: floor directly above the kitchen all I could smell every night was dinner being cooked downstairs

Cons: The bathroom was small, I have stayed at cheaper places with bigger bathrooms. Breakfast was over priced. It was cheaper for my family to go else where for food.
Cons: Bed was awful. Lobby was stark and uninviting.
