Pros: The decorations of the room @ hotel and the patio, fireplace, jetted tub, restaurant.
Daniels Summit Lodge is a great choice for a stay in Heber City. You can indulge in deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or aromatherapy, and grab a bite to eat at Lodge Pole Grill, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's an indoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms get the details right with fireplaces and designer toiletries.
Cons: The couples spa was broken. Our shower head in the room was cheap! The food was very boring and tasteless.
Pros: people were very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend it to friends and family
Pros: Overall our stay was just okay. When we arrived at the hotel we were told our room wouldn't be ready for a minute and that we would be contacted once it was made sure that it had been cleaned. Check in is at 4 pm and it was 4:15. 30 minutes later I went back to the front desk and it was clear he has forgotten us. Some other unsatisfactory marks for an uncomfortable king bed and low water pressure in the shower made me feel like I could have stayed at a days inn for this service and level of comfort. Would not return for the price paid.
Cons: See above.
Cons: Did not like to discover at check out that they charge
$15.00 a day for resort fees. This should be covered
up front and let you know. When I asked the front desk
manager about this, he seemed a little miffed, and stated
that I could stay at the Homestead next year when I come
back with the large group. This would be the hotel across
the street. Not a very pleasant way to handle a very logical
Their front desk staff and reservation department I would
not rank above a C. They are very slow in returning their
calls when you have a concern. I am used to reservation
departments that answer your question quickly.
Pros: Love the amenities.
Cons: Surprise resort fees not included in the room rate.
Pros: The shuttle was nice, even if it was crowded trying to get back to the hotel. Convenient to get to and great customer service. (Besides the crib)
Cons: No service at all in our room on our phones. It took asking three times to get a portable crib sent to our room. (Before we checked in, at check in, and then several hours later when we needed it, we had to call to get it)
Pros: This was never explained and charged at the end. Had no idea any of the things it even provided.
Cons: Should have been more up front with that. Otherwise all else was fine.
Pros: Very nice
Cons: Too many kids running around on valentines weekend
Pros: Heber is a beautiful valley and if you're looking for a quaint long term place to stay, the resort is it. It is a historic, charming place and there are several recreational activities like swimming, tennis, and playground equipment, plus a rec room with a pool table and ping pong. The hot tub is huge enough to swim in and the sauna is just right. However i was a little disappointed because I read about the crater and golf being included in the price and it wasnt. Also the recreational side is casual but it's integrated in with the formal areas. So you may be in your swimsuit and then baam there's a wedding around the corner. Same with the sports, you may be playing tennis in a little outfit and sweating and want a drink and/or ice cream but the restaurant is more formal and expensive. You have to leave the resort for quick cheap food. And toiletries if you forgot them. Overall nice stay if you are an active person who never dresses down and wants to pay $10 for a breakfast omelet.
Pros: Loved the water aerobics class. The room was clean and beautifully decorated and comfortable.
Cons: Rooms could use microwaves. Our particular room, the door was hard to close. Also they were chipping the paint off the railings and the deck attached to our room, would have been nice if they would have swept up all the pieces as they stuck to our shoes and luggage.
Staff was not nearly as friendly this trip as last visit, was disappointing to feel like we were an annoyance when asking questions about the resort.
Pros: Food and view
Cons: Beds were extremely firm. Tossed and turned all night. Some segments were out on clock so I couldn't tell how much longer I had to suffer till daylight. Toilet seat so loose I nearly got thrown on the floor. Shower handle came off in my wife's hand.
Pros: The grounds with fresh snow and holiday lighting made it sort of magical. The fireside reasonably priced dinner was very romantic. The pond-view breakfast was refreshing.
Cons: When we checked in the desk person didn't let us know that we needed to make reservations for the crater springs swim. We had to ask about it specifically before this information was offered. I'm glad we asked since it was the main reason we chose this location.
Pros: Staff were great. Overall atmosphere is very homey, inviting and relaxing. Buildings/rooms need some updating.
Cons: The inside pool was really dingy looking - didn't want to swim again after looking really closely at it. Building we were in could definitely use some updating or a remodel.
Pros: It was my second time at the hotel. Very pleasant and beautiful. Rooms are very clean and smell fresh. Staff is very friendly and area is gorgeous. Definitely going back.
Cons: Location is beautiful, as are the grounds, but the resort needs to be updated.
Pros: The beds were comfortable and it was convenient for what we had to do in Heber City. The parking lot was awful because of the snow. It was the only place to stay in Heber. The breakfast was good with a variety of items.
Cons: The location is really awkward to get into. It is at a very busy intersection and hard to get on and off the main road. We reported the toilet seat broken our room upon check out.
Pros: Staff was great. Rooms clean and modern.
Cons: WiFi was very slow. It wasn't a big deal for us but to advertise free WiFi is silly when it's almost unusable.
Cons: Rude employees. Hung up the phone when we called after our stay about a question with our bill.

A spa tub and a sauna are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: no staff on premises had to call the staff on the phone for them to come and get checked in, then staff left premises right away after check in, hot water was not turned off in the tub and was running a steady stream, I turned it off, there was weeds growing through a vent under the sink, the staff was not there at time of check out either oh and whoever cleaned the room left a partial used bottle of shampoo from the hotel on the counter next to a new bottle of shampoo (impression was they wanted the next guest to use that shampoo)
Pros: Small and quiet town
