Great Hotel, great staff
Opulent hotel, nice respite Pricey
Very curteous concierge staff and personnel in general. Very clean.
- Luxury. - The Value.
A great true five star hotel. Excellent and knowledgeable concierge. Location is outside of the Montepoleone shopping district so a nice oasis to come home to at pIazza Republica. Great part was frequent Benz stretch limo pickup and drop off from the hotel to La Scala/ Duomo and Montepoleone area -- that was extreme helpful with kids. Had an upgrade which was appreciated and not asked for. Breakfast were absolutely excellent and included in our price. Champagne, full hot foods and fresh fruits and pastries. Will definitely be back!! My only minor tif was pool was closed for renos. Minor and everything was to our or beyond our expectations.
Very upscale with an attentive and helpful staff. The facilities and decor are kept in impeccable shape. The hotel is near the train station and there is a limo service to Piazza Duomo. Room service, mini-bar, and restaurant seemed excessively expensive, as is the charge for internet service.
Room decor Breakfast prices were ridiculously high and quality was horrible. They also rip you off. We dined a la carte for breakfast the first day but were charged for the super high priced buffet. The good itself was horrible. Second morning all we had was juice , crossaint and coffee and were once again ripped off. This hotel is a rip off. Only good for business people billing their companies. Hotel was not even able to correct our charges during check out leaving us a bet other taste of being ripped off.
for us not much was positive about this hotel unfortunately, we would definitely not go to this hotel ever again overpriced for five star hotel, poor hygiene in jacuzzi (growing mold on the side), tv did not work at first, nothing included in the initial room rate, exorbitant extra costs like 120 euros per night for pets (!!!), 22 euros or more per day for simple internet use, reception then also tried to charge us 20 euros extra per day for the already included buffet breakfast (the excuse was that american breakfast costs more than the continental breakfast, which was not advertised on the internet), taxi and concierge staff at the hotel entrance making fun and jokes about hotel clients in italian (unfortunately we understand italian very well...), tiny rooms, car key is taken away with or without the hotel client's permission and car is far away.
Everything about the hotel and the stay. Nothing I didn't like
Amazing service, incredibly thoughtful staff, and beautiful surroundings are expected at this hotel. 5 star service, 5 star price. Make sure you work out a way to include breakfast, as it is expensive, but divine. Be wary about the high valet prices. Overall, you pay for what you get and this property does not disappoint. High valet prices.
all was excellent
Shuttle service to shopping area (very convenient when carrying a lot of bags) close to train station, delicious breakfast Spa at hotel is overpriced and has mediocre spa service, otherwise hotel is fantastic!
The location and the lake-facing balcony room. In November, the town is mostly shut down.
Everything! Brilliant staff, brilliant location, brilliant weather! The breakfast was unbelievable.
The hote is situated only 200 meters from Milan's main train station, there's free internet connection, the breakfast buffe is good. It is completely nonsmoking hotel. I would like more open t.v. channels.
Great location just outside the central station and metro at the end of the street. Complimentary tea/coffe/water/snacks in the lounge. Great breakfast. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. nothing.
location the room as per the booking was superior double but was not up to the mark.
I Liked The Mini Bar In The Room With Free Soft Drinks And Water, Also The Breakfast Was Excellent With a Great Selection Of Hot And Cold Food, The Staff Were Very Friendly And Helpfull.
The hotel well located. A good value for money hotel. My rating 9.5/10 No almond crossants anymore.....oh well.
Friendly staff, good location, value for money
for milano good price adn for italy not bad breakfast the room was very small and old furnished...
the rabishest hotel i use it so far.
he wortste hotel ever been..... should be rated as one star even less i was shocked of the place its petty to be called Le Meridian very old very dirty very awful
Convenient location right by central train station.
Friendly, Comfortable + Fantastic Breakfast Location, Very close to Central Station. Not good area
easy access to central milan
We had a great time Hotel was beautiful. Our room was lovely and big with a nice balcony. Room service was excellent too. Will definitely return.
The lovely fruit and sweets when we returned to our room. The location was not near the sites we were interested in seeing.
nice room, very good restaurant
location, and room size old equipement (TV, and phone not functioning), AC not functioning as well.
Good location Concierge not very helpful/knowledgable for a 5star hotel
Staff is excellent and take care about details. They also noticed that it was my birthday and they sent to my room a cake and a bottle of excellent Spumante
Concierge and staff keen to help. The breakfast room is well serviced and table clothes changed for each guest. There is a large range of fruits cereals and cappuccino. Cooked food is provided Hot water was cold, having to be run off for several minutes before it wamed up enough to use. Its not inconvenient but you can imagine the waste.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful. The fact that it's very close to Milan Central Station is definetly a plus.
convenient location (right next to the station). Beautiful rooms and decor. Very helpful staff. Great price.
Room was a bit old and front desk staff was not very friendly. However the buffet breakfast spread is good, hotel is very close to the main train station (you can see it once you get off the airport express bus, on the left of the station) and the greatest plus point is their wonderful bed and pillows! You can actually select the type of pillows you want...only learnt of this on checking out :p The room we stayed in was old (room 608) and was odd shaped. The bathroom is very small and the shower 'cubicle' has no proper stall with only a shower curtain to kee the water from wetting everything else.
Hot drink making facilities, comfortable clean bed, bath as well as shower. no English speaking facilities on TV also pay films for UK travellers are old. CNN was not working nor Bloomburg which is free not able to be viewed could not get latest news.
Location- just right. The stay was very pleasent. Price is worth the value. The breakfast staff was very freindly. The hotel is more like a 3 star - The room was a little old wide but with an odd shape.
Location right next to Central train station, and not far from city centre. Modern, clean, comfortable. Great staff. great value.
Comfortable and equipped room, perfect location for travellers, great breakfast. 100 meters from a shuttle to Malpensa, safe surroundings despite the reputation of the area. The default check out time is late
the people were nice, the "coffee/tea bar" was great. it was so close to the station
Excellent location, helpful staff, Quiet and comfortable. Great breakfast!
Good location just a walking distance to the airport bus stop, central train station, metro, bus station and tram. The drain in the shower room didn't work properly.
the staff only i have stayed at the westins in america and this one was the worst the food was awful breakfast and dinner i would never stay at that hotel again not worth the money i paid for 1 night an absolute disgrace
the location is good because it is near the center of the city the room was not comfortable and I complained about the noise that disturbed me
The room was excellent Poor service with ridiculous prices
The Westin was the 3rd hotel we stayed at in Milan after the first hotel (a boutique) being a massive disappointment and the second hotel trying to double the price on the second day. Arriving at the Westin you are greeted with old world luxury and modern amenities. Staff were superb, bed lovely, location impeccable. As a soiled gal from Manhattan- this met and exceed expectations!
the location and the staff are really friendly the health club should be better in such nice hotel
room service dıd not replace empty bottles.
Lage, Ausstattung, Service! Needs refreshing, carpet shows spots! Garage billing for one night € 57,-- (your indication € 50,--) appears to be excessive!
I highly value hotel staff and they willingness to help us with things such as restaurant selection/rreservation. There is currently large problem in getting to the hotel from North of Milan due to major construction in surroundings
staff very helpful and friendly. good spa treatments
it was nice hotel and clean the parking fee too expencive (40eruo)
great stay . my favorite hotel in milan
The quality of the hotel doesnt match the price
Lcation is near the central station and very convenience.Hotel staff is very efficient and room is useful.
Location, room, breakfast spread - everything was perfect. Dinner served at the hotel restaurant is also very good. Wifi - it did not work at all. In today's world it is mandatory to have this facility, in an easily accessible way.
Great location, great breakfast, wifi works well. Pretty good experience Didn't know there was city tax to pay for every night at the check out other than the reservation charges online. Just some unexpected expense.
As far as I am comcerned, this is the best hotel, in Milan, to stay at if you are taking a train or plane in a day or two. The train station is across the street from the hotel and you can easily walk to and from. It has local and long distance trains. You can catch a bus to the airport at the train station too. If you have several pieces of luggage, a bellman will assist you in taking the luggage to the bus. They have a nice restaurant and the people are very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and have stayed there many times.
The hotel was a few steps from the Milan Central Station. The area around the hotel was fine and the staff were very professional, courteous and friendly. Everything in the room was nice and updated. The bathroom was spacious and included a Whirlpool tub. The window curtains could be electrically opened and closed to the touch of a button. The mini bar included complimentary sodas, water and snacks. The full breakfast was very nice and even included fresh squeezed orange juice. I highly recommended this hotel. When I return to Milan I'll be happy to stay here again. Nothing to dislike.
The bathroom is very good In the room not tea servises
the staff where wonderful and particularly the bell desk boys..!
It seems that the reservation did not indicate "non-smoking_. I was thus given a smoking room which was not acceptable and promptly changed. My profile indicates no smoking and the getaroom site did not ask.
Steps away from Milano Centrale Station! The staff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable. We left too early to try the breakfast. The decor could be upgraded as it looks very dated. It was probably a luxury hotel with top notch technology in the early 90's/80's. It was kind of fun to check out the vintage tech. Overall though we were very comfortable.
The location is excellent, just a few foot steps from the Metro. The room was big enough and very clean. The staff was very helpful and nice. The controls of the heating system didn't really work and it was a bit too hot in the room.
We like the jacuzzi in the bathroom which we find very relaxing and comfortable after one day of shopping. Also the early check-in time which is 10am and not the usual 12pm for most hotels, this is very convenient for us as we arrive by train in Milan at around 9am and can check in early to rest for a while. Also the location is excellent, very near the train station and its very easy to find. Breakfast spread is excellent.
It was clean elegant and centrally located
This is a gem of a hotel. The location across the street from the main train station in Milan (and across from where the Malpensa Express buses drop off arriving international travellers) is very helpful. The staff was efficient, friendly, and informative. The hotel is superbly furnished and is extremely quiet with an understated luxury that is very appealing. The bed was ultra comfortable, with luxurious linens, the towls in the bathroom were also plush and luxurious in their feel. A full range of amenities of every sort desirable is available. I have stayed in numerous 5 star hotels across the world, and I must say that this hotel compares quite nicely with them as long as you don't miss being oceanfront or having a pool.
convenience, clean if they charge the night that I did not stay. ie I book 3 nights and I need to leave early so that I stayed 2 nights instead but IF they charged me 3 night coz I booked 3. Initially that's what one of the front office staff told me. But when I checked out they did not which is much more fair. Otherwise, I won't go back for sure and must warn all other travelers.
Very polite & willing to help personel average breakfast
The location is very good and the breakfast was wonderful. Staff were quite helpful. The room was very hot and the air-cond didnt work.
Convenient location. Breakfast room is very small for the size of hotel.
Good location for all types of transport to airport and city
Very nice furnished rooms The location was not quiet
The staff, the comfort and the location. The double room is clean, spacious, the bed's are comfortable and the peaceful vibe!
nice location near central station, nice room
Great rooms, good breakfast, close to central train station and bus shuttle. Excellent all around.
spacious, clean room
step's kindness, comfortable, very nice place nothing
The hotel staff were extremely helpful, spoke good english and gave us excellent local resturant advice. The room was very clean, we stayed in Milan after visiting several hotels around the region and this was the best for value and service. My mum thought the breakfast was top notch! Only a minor point, it was slighly difficult to locate. We had to call the hotel to try to find its location as it was situated behind a gated entrance behind another building not visible from the road. A good map would have been helpful, along with good written instuctions for driving to the hotel.
it was very spacious. that the sheets had little hairs on them , even after they where changed
Very convenient location, nice large, comfortable room, good rate. high speed internet access in the room would be nice, although it is in the lobby.
The breakfast abundant in various food. Room was spaacious. If I were a businessman or so, I could enjoy a exercise machine for sure but actually I am a normal aged woman. Because of this, the huge exercise machine equipped in the room gave the feeling somewhat out of place.
room, service, price
Beautifully decorated room. Well located near the train station though the sign board outside by the side of the road could be bigger. Will stay at UNA hotel on my next trip to Itay Please replace the roadside sgn board to something bigger and prominent.
Location is perfect. Very good breakfast. Rooms are clean, but need to be renovated.
Junior suite was great. Breakfast was varied. Very nice staff.
We were forced to book an additional room because we had a 3 year old baby with us while the booking site did not have the kids option. The additional room is even more expensive onsite while the hotel had low occupancy rate due to the season. Many restaurants nearby were closed as well due to the low season. No accommodation whatsoever for family travel. Don't recommend anyone this hotel if you might have any accommodation required. Or maybe their priority is just money, not the reputation or repeating business. So one and done for me.
the localization was good. room was tidy. small room, no wiew from window, a lot of noises from everywhere - doors, walls. we heard people next door. no internet - there was one but verry expensive - 3Euro per hour!!
Nice hotel with grand lobby, the room looks new with marble bathroom. Very good breakfast to start off your day, quite easy to find and there are a supermarket and many restaurants nearby. Our room is facing the street, a bit too noisy from the traffic below especially when the trams pass by. There was also a small renovation at the hotel at the time of our stay but did not disturb us at all.
Breakfast and location No free internet
Location This was in no way a 4-star hotel it claims. No coffee machine in room. Small old-style TV with poor picture. Poor bed.
Recepsionists at the desk were friendly and very professional. Rooms were very clean and easily accessible to station and downtown. The room was very warm and it was 75 degrees outside.
Rsponsive staff (awesome Ahmed!) came through in the clutch, included decent breakfast with killer cappucino. Bargain hotel has simple physical offering (not even disposable cups in the room).
location was near the train station which was good because the airport bus dropped me off there Lots of building work going on at the hotel. The courtyard is a mass of rubble when i visited.
Vicinity to the Train Station
breakfast was good, the connection with the downtown very good, the staff was very helpful and kind no german Tv channel, the quality of TV picture was not good
The special admirable milanese "artistic" style. Anything is fine if one has read the reviews of other people before arriving at the hotel: this makes proper interpretations easier as there is no guide in the room.
Location at Como lake, staff was very kind Poor breakfast
Big rooms. Surprisingly good breakfast. Good beds if you like your matress on the hard side, which I do. The weather...
Good Breakfast Hated the location. Room was dirty and very hot.
Elevators need to be more efficiant
friendliness of staff and location
The hotel staff The toilet facilities was not ok. In one of the rooms there keept on stinking from the bathroom and there was apparently nothing the Hotel could do about it
The room was very clean and the hotel was very near central train station.
Convenient location for Centrale station Seemed a little tired.
Good Clean, Pleasent staff,Good location ,Faultless
Very nice clean room with parket-floor, no wall-to-wall carpet. The room had everything we ecpect of a good hotel Yes. Only remark: there is no nice view.
the staff is very kind, the location is perfect hotel needs a huge renovation, from the top to the bottom, floors, elevators windows, beds, the buffet in the morning it is quite poor, too expensive for that quality.
Good location, nice staff, ok breakfast Nothing
Decent location given the price. WiFi access speed was extremely slow. Walls were paper thin, with noise from other guests in the hall way and adjacent rooms throughout the night making for poor sleep.
Proximity to Central Train station and Metro Small room...expensive.
Staff were very helpful, good beds, room rather small but nicely furnished, very good buffet breakfast. The hotel is not situated in a very nice part of town.
Good location, very central, yet quiet. Breakfast ok for Italian standards. Bathrooms very small, especially the showercabin (but equipment ok).
Cozy and neat room, great location. Not far from the center. Excellent breakfast, and nice staff. They offered free bikes to us. The wall is a bit thin. You can hear the street and your neighbors.
Location, very clean room and hotel, friendly and helpful staff
It was comfortable and convenient. The room was clean. Breakfast buffet has good selection too.
the position, the cleaness in the room the food, the rooms , the services are not for a 4 star hotel !
The breakfast is better and there are 2 free internet points in the lobby. The surroundings is quiet and it is a short walk to Buenos Aires. There is a small supermarket across the street. The room and bathroom are both very small and there is hardly space for movement. They could have provided the wireless internet access free in the room and this will be very well appreciated for business travellers.
Very friendly and helpful concierge. It does not qualify as a four star hotel. Room decor sad, side small, and worse of all the room had a very unpleasant smell.
Hotel is very neat and clean overall. Location is close to subway station and tram way. 8-10mins walk. breakfast: eggs are always overcook and refill slowly.
great location extra cost for wireless whose reception isn't that great
Our stay was excellent. Staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
Clean and confortable rooms and toilettes The surroundings are not the best, and the staff could be more polite
This hotel is located at the most convenient place for transportation between the airport and Milano city.
The desk staff were professional and helpful Quite pricey for what and where it is
Location, convenience. My bed, I kept rolling off.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good location
The location is walking distance from the Stazione Centrale and Metro for easy access to the rest of the City Single bed and room is very small, but comfortable. Bathrooms were perfect.
The breaksfast buffet was wonderful! So many unique dishes, we didn't need lunch. The staff were always available and very helpful.
location, friendly staff, beautiful room and bathroom, WiFi in the whole building WiFi should be free in this level of hotels
Very good Hotel, close to the Central Station. Better than the most Hotels I've stayed in Italy.
the location, quite location nothing specail
Location Parking is expensive and the rule not implemented as it is mentioned.
The hotel is beautiful, and quiet, but expensive and price online how to use it failed and also fast.
location is very close to Milan st. and Room is very clean .confortable. Internet is very expensive 27euro/24h.
The rooms were small. The restaurant is small. I got two double beds for me and my wife. And that's with me having status. The hotel is dated.
I liked the service and the facilities this hotel has to offer. I liked the comfort of my room. Please note this hotel is in the business area. City centre (Duomo) is only a few stops with the metro but do not expect to find a nice restaurant nearby. A small detail for the hotel is that my room had no safe, which I find odd for a 4star hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull.
The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety. The hotel was in the heart of the city and very close to the train station. The shops and restaurants were nearby. The gym facilities were also good. It would have been nice to have a swimming pool as the weather outside was in the mid-30s.
the friendly and professional staff and the location to centrale station queen size bed wasnt as big as queen size in other hotels
my experiance was so nice i will visit hilton milan in the future
The staff were fantastic, very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Lovely clean and comfortable hotel, delicious breakfast, couldn't ask for anything more!!
