Pros: It was cute and fully stocked. Very clean also.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable.
Pros: Beach view was wonderful as was access for early morning beach walks.
Cons: Room was on second floor with no elevator and it was a real nuisance to have to take suitcases up two flights of stairs. Could never find a switch to turn off lights on balcony so despite shades, there was an unwelcome light shining all night.
Pros: Very clean and close to the beach. Great view from room.
Cons: Quiet and friendly staff!
Pros: We love our stays at The Moonstone Beach Motel!!!! We've been coming for about 30 years.
Cons: Upper level, dog friendly suites available
Pros: The location is excellent for a quiet drop-out spot. No shops, no traffic, no zombies walking around looking at their phones and running into people. Close to the beach and beautiful views. The room had everything we needed and more. And they love your furry friends!
Cons: The pillows were a bit hard.
Pros: Great view with easy beach access, Ev charging stations where one of the main reasons we picked this hotel and did not disappoint as they had several Tesla destination chargers available.
Cons: Pile of sand on coffee table when we arrived. The walk in shower looked nice but no door allowed water to spray all over room and the nice looking rocks are hard to stand on.
Pros: The location is beautiful, with a breathtaking view of the ocean.

Pros: Brilliant location overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Lovely room (tiny bit dated but in a really lovely way), fantastic views, excellent amenities, and really really friendly reception staff. Breakfast overlooking ocean was a treat too and the waitress really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Not one thing - it was a treat.
Pros: The location is amazing. The pool/hot tub sauna area was great.
Cons: The building we were In on a cliff side was leaning much more than I would've liked for the amount of money spent. A little uncomfortable
Pros: The restaurant had great food!
Pros: Staff was friendly and great location with good views
Cons: Hotel is old and outdated needs some updates
Pros: good location, friendly staff
Pros: Great location, very nice staff.
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly, not to mention the adorable orange cat we were greeted by! Pool/spa area was very nice and relaxing. Quiet and remote. Drive on beach was down the road and neat to experience.
Cons: Hotel room was very outdated and old. Had a smell to it. Kinda gave it a creepy vibe. Could hear a lot of noise from the road and nearby people.
Pros: Amazingly nice area.
Cons: Not really.
Pros: Great staff and loved the retro look to the rooms. Had to switch rooms due to occupancy and pay more but worth the upgrade for the view and fireplace in the room
Cons: Unexpected room change and price increase but it couldn''t be avoided
Pros: Location on the ocean
Cons: Property needs updating upgrading for full potential
Pros: Great location. Wooden stairs through fern/conifer garden leads to the beach. There's an indoor pool and jacuzzi with a dry sauna and spa facilities and exercise equipment.
Cons: The facilities were constructed in mid 50's. Our room reflects the wear.
Cons: The carpet was damp. Room smelled like mold. Beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Gross, huge stains all over the carpet.

Shops and cafes of Pacific Beach are within 5 minutes’ walk of Sandpiper Beach Resort. Museum of the North Beach is 2 km away.
Pros: The resort's location is breathtaking. The facility itself is unique and interesting. Amazingly quiet despite its location next to the highway. This resort delivers on providing a rustic, largely off-the-grid and back-to-nature experience.
Cons: The furnishings do not align with the cost -- old appliances, cutlery, and rooms that have not been substantially updated in decades. That being said, everything is very clean and practical.
Pros: Location, atmosphere and very relaxing.
Pros: The best views in the Pac NW from the deck...at least in the 25+ years since our first visit they haven't changed!
Cons: First stayed here in 1993....revisited in 2004 when the place was already looking in need of some tlc...it hasn't received any! Threadbare carpets, mouldy bathrooms, ancient bedding (pillows smelt of dogs)....due to stay 2 nights, we left after 1 and wouldn't have bothered with the 1st had it not been so late in the day. Looks the place is up for sale...if someone spends the $6.2m and then spends another $2m remodelling the place we may return, but in it's current, sad state, it is truly best avoided!
Pros: Great location, beautiful view of sunset over the ocean. Friendly staff at front desk. Though it’s becoming pretty rundown, we appreciate having a large room available for our big group of 10-14 to gather in.
Cons: Been coming with a big group for many(25-30?) years, the place is getting very shabby, in desperate need of some upgrade. New policy of no cancelations whatsoever, no refunds whatsoever, and an added 20.00 “cleaning fee” May make us consider looking elsewhere.
Pros: We have stayed here many times. As long as you know ahead of time what you're getting isn't fancy, but clean and close to the beach then you'll be fine. The property hasn't had upgrades in many years but it's fine for what we need. We have learned to bring out own water, some utensils that aren't provided and a few other items. The bed is hard but again, we knew it going in and can deal with it for a few nights. We go here for the quiet, the view, the access to the beach...Not to be surrounded by a lot of people. It suits our needs.
Cons: The place could use some upgrades. Our bathroom light didn't always work, the stove has no markings on the knobs so you're always guessing how hot things will be. The deck & rocking chairs are GREAT! We tend to spend most of our time, if the weather is good out on the deck reading and enjoying the view. The beds are hard and the blanket is terrible. Not sure where it disappears to at night but we always end up with just the bedspread over us because the sheet & blanket seems to get sucked to the bottom of the bed. It's a mystery!
Cons: The drinking water was not good
