Cons: Parking 16$ extra per night! (Hidden cost) pool not heated and small. Did not like outlet mall being attached to hotel.
Pros: Comfortable room. Nice bathroom.
Cons: Price was too much.
Pros: Very comfortable. Nice stay. Staff were friendly.
Cons: Iron didn't work. Vanity mirror didn't work. One request from staff wasn't filled. No microwave.
Pros: Super clean and nice. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. Beautiful pool deck on the roof where you can eat and relax. The shower was amazing. Super large.
Pros: And prRoom was nice. But the staff was very helpful
Pros: Clean. Upscale. Comfortable
Cons: Cost per night
Pros: J'aime boucoup le location.
Cons: J'aime pas de petit roms et parking.
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: No shuttle service
Pros: Good location. Near shopping and the beach.
Cons: Construction made accessing/finding front of hotel difficult. Hotel had no signs indicating where entrance was located and no street level signage visible. Confirmation emails did not indicate hotel was under construction. Room service would not take our breakfast order, weird.
Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach is a boutique hotel combining understated elegance with the enthusiasm of locally inspired designs. Ideally located in the heart of downtown Long Beach, Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach is steps away from 100+ restaurants, activities and shops, including the Pike Outlets.
Pros: Great Location to the Queen Mary and restaurants.
Cons: Issues with wifi.
Pros: one of the most amazing experience to stay at the host hotel for the long beach marathon. the hotel made sure that the guests who stayed at the hotel who participated in the events will receive a mini brown bag w/ goodies for the race.
Cons: room did not come w/ a mini refrig nor any mini bar
Cons: $26 parking for hotel guests. Receptionist just said "yeah, this is Long Beach"
Pros: Everything was nice, nice staff and very convenient to everything.
Cons: The bathrooms were dirty and the shower absolutely was the worst one I've ever encountered.
Pros: The view from the room was great & staff was great!
Pros: The "Check In" staff was wonderful, helpful, and made me feel welcome. The rooms were comfortable and I will mostly likely stay here again when I visit Long Beach, CA. The hotel is in a great location prior to cruising and/or enjoying the beach.
Cons: Even though my parking fee was waived, I hope free parking becomes a standard practice.
Pros: Very convenient stay while attending the ISSE at the convention center.
Cons: Very professional & attentive staff throughout my stay.
No doubt under great management!
Pros: Got a great last minute deal on this hotel, worked out great. Perfect location near restaurants and shopping on the shore.
Pros: The view
Cons: Rooms were to small
Pros: Location was perfect. Room was nice.
Cons: Room i was confir.ed with kayak was not available. Required a double and she kept insisting i take a king. Showed her my email.. the she found a room on the underground floor.. that had double veds.. after much hassle. Then after we checked out.. we went bac 2 hrs later to retreive a forgotton jacket and it was missing. Cleaning staff didnt find it.. it was specifically lEft in the clost. Only way it could have dissappeares was if someone took it .
Pros: The staff was fantastic and the room was very clean
Cons: Our only complaint was the poor quality mattress and the thin walls.
Pros: Being local to the beach and many restraraunts.
Cons: The room smelled horrible and the view I paid for was blocked by a tree.
The Hyatt Regency Long Beach sits proudly at the edge of Long Beach's beautiful Rainbow Harbor. With breathtaking water views from all guest rooms, the Hyatt provides the ultimate hotel experience for travelers of all types. Steps away from the Hyatt you will find the best Long Beach has to offer-shops,restaurants,theaters, the Aquarium of the Pacific and the beach. You will have an exceptional experience at the Hyatt.
Pros: Room was crisp and clean. Property and view was pretty.
Cons: Special event affected the noise during our stay. Circular courtyard provided lots of noise from other guests.
Pros: We (either spouse and/or kid) have stayed here at least once a year and have watched it undergo many improvements, it is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to the Queen Mary but would like to avoid the noise or prefer a larger room and a pool. Since it is set up like a motel, you have to walk over between buildings and to the pool. The Sunday brunch is fantastic, there is a cute sand area for the kids, decor is cute and the facility always appears clean. I have not used any of the service options (in room or pool side) due to some really bad experiences prior to the change of ownership.
Cons: During the last stay there was a music festival at the Queen Mary which is to say that it was difficult to get to the hotel and once there, parking was difficult and people were pre-partying around the hotel. We had dinner reservations on the QM and the woman at the front desk offered a golf cart shuttle to the ship. On our way to the room we watched concert goers jockey for a space on the golf cart and then proceed to sit on one another's lap to fit. When we later approached the golf cart pick up area we were relieved to find it empty. A person identifying himself as a manager informed me "this cart isn't working, the battery is out" and then he clarified that it was the only one they had. Lame. In the end we were able to get to dinner in 10 minutes via sturdy Louboutins and the walk path but I would have liked a more professional handling of the situation.
Pros: The atmosphere, view and vibe was relaxing and incredible !! the guy at the front desk was really respectfull and helpfull and even gave us free fresh baked choclate cookies at check in and compt our parking for our visit , think his name was Noor ... Highly recomend and will definitley be coming back soon ! Thumbs upppp
Pros: The staff was very courteous from the moment we arrived and very helpful the entire time. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Long Beach area in the future.
Pros: Easy access to bus line ( bus line is Clean an convenient) takes you to downtown long beach.
Free shuttle to cruise ship terminal.
Great pool and pool bar staff.
Cool/funky mayan theme throughout.
Pros: Nice waterfront location
Cons: Hard to fine by drivers
Pros: We especially liked the location and the service by the front desk. Fuego is a great place to dine.
Cons: Unfortunately, we were placed next to a family that were loud and disrespectful until late night. The hotel staff tried to quiet them; however, it took many attempts. It was not the real fault of the hotel; but it did make our stay unpleasant.
Pros: I would recommend a water view. It was a great!
Pros: The views, particularly at night.
Cons: It was undergoing renovation of one of the towers. Some noise etc. associated with that although it stopped by 5 pm.
The staff at the restaurant was really terrible when I had a late lunch. I have stayed there before and enjoyed good service, but it was quite bad on this trip.
I waited for at least ten minutes while waiters walked by me and waited on tables seated after I was. There were only 6 or so tables total as it was late afternoon. At one point my waiter talked to the table next to me about personal matters for about ten minutes and then walked off without coming by my table or refilling my water.
My experience with all other staff was excellent. The restaurant staff is entirely responsible for the Okay rating.
Pros: Beautiful view and location, and very nice room. The staff was very nice to deal with.
Cons: The price was a little high, and the rug in the room should be replaced.

Cons: The price was high for what you get at the hotel. I have stayed in very nice hotels that offer a more luxurious feel. Also, there were protesters there outside the main entrance almost every morning around 0700. You could easily hear them and it was quite obnoxious.
Pros: The hotel itself was beautiful, and edgy.
Cons: Everything was an additional charge and expensive. I've stayed in NY and never thought i'd see pancakes sold at $15. I also would expect a hotel to include wi-fi. Water for $5???
Pros: Elevator music vapid & hilariously loud
Wi Fi not free @ these prices?
Told suite would have welcome basket w champagne--got nothing
No newspaper weekends @ these prices?
Pros: Booked online for a room with a double bed. Reservation confirmation after booking the reservation snuck in "double or king." When we arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms with double beds and not even any rollaway beds. So I canceled the reservation. Kayak may not be the responsible provider, but when the website option selected is room with double beds and that's the primary reason for my selection of the particular hotel, they better have that kind of room available to backstop my booking. Otherwise, it's false advertising. I will think twice before using Kayak again to book a hotel room.
Pros: Breakfast was very expensive, but also very good.
Cons: No fridge, no ice machine on my floor, very dirty bath tub, uncomfortable bed, no outlets by mirror, outlets by bed did not work,

Pros: Pool was open even with rain and had warm enough water to swim outdoors in 60 degrees weather.
Pros: Nice rooms.
Cons: The web site for the hotel under amenities said free breakfast. We did not get ffree breakfest. Even when I pointed out to the staff and showed Them. They said it was because I booked through a different web site. But under amenities listed is pool workout room and I was allowed to use those amenities. Free breakfast is always a consideration when I book hotels. So I was bummed. Started my day off bad.
Pros: Good food close by
Cons: A little far from beaches
Pros: Centrally located, friendly staff, knowledgeable people, and rooms were spacious.
Pros: If you are in Monterey park for Chinese food, you can't beat staying here.
Cons: Renovation starts at 9am

Pros: It was so close to shoreline and pine avenue
Cons: You could hear through the rooms
Pros: Location was great. 15 minute walk to the Pike and waterfront location. Close to restaurants, and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and plenty of parking.
Cons: The pool was a little small.
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly AM staff
Cons: No room service
Pros: In the middle of Long Beach downtown. You could walk to local restaurant. Free breakfast was good.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like
Pros: The hotel is clean and the rooms look modern and up to date. The location in downtown Long Beach is pretty central if you want to be in Long Beach.
Cons: Two double beds instead of two queens, lots of sound traveling between rooms, not a very good shower, room was on the smaller side, check-in issues were an annoyance and were due to staff's actions. Price quite high for what we got.
Pros: Staff friendly
Cons: Parking could have been better, no big deal, we arrived late!
Pros: It was clean and comfortable . I liked that it had things you might forget like a razor , sewing kit, toothbrush , ect.
Cons: Not enough seating area at breakfast.
Pros: Convenient drive from there to the funeral I was attending the next morning. Easy check out
Cons: Parking fee and got the very last parking spot at night
Pros: Location if hotel And cleanliness.
Cons: the pool looked deceptivly large on the website. It was basically a giant hot tub. The staff was not accommodating. I wanted an earlier check in @ 2:15, I had three small children and apparently no rooms were clean. The breakfast was shady at best and not much room. I had to take the food into my room. This is the last Best Weatern I stay in.
Pros: Great Location for the Convention Center, lots of restaurant's in the area, and the comp. breakfast was good
Cons: The comp. breakfast should be extended to 10:30AM , Refrigerator in rooms would be good improvement. The coffee pot and ice bucket should not be kept in the bathroom, its unsanitary
Pros: clean & great location
Cons: THe undisclosed fee to park at hotel. $10 a night which was never disclosed on either website, NOT RIGHT!!!!
Pros: The rooms were spacious and very clean.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Friendly staff, great rooms, clean hotel, nice decor.
Pros: Very clean, spacious rooms with small balcony overlooking pool and evening city lights. Close walk to numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Connected to wonderful bar/restaurant. Huge beautiful lobby and awesome staff. Very pleased with this stay.
Cons: When I went to check into my hotel they told me that they are full and don't have my room. I have already paid for the hotel yet they told me they don't have a room with two beds anymore and they only have one king bed room left. This left me speechless because how is it possible to sleep on a king bed with three guests. When I asked the front desk person to let me speak to the manager she tells me, i have to wait 30 minutes and she said that instead i could just take the king bed and be fine with it. Also, another thing she suggested was to get a refund if i don't wanna take the king size bedroom.
It was HORRIBLE experience because they over book the revenue of the hotel and people like us gets left with no room.
Pros: The on site restaurant was very good.
Cons: The wooden floors were not desirable because we could hear footsteps above us. One sliding glass door really didn't let in enough daylight.
Pros: I had a roof over my head
Cons: "Harbor view" was probably 20% of viewable area from room window. Other 80% was a corporate building about 40 feet away from the Courtyard hotel. Construction noise on the floor above mine sounded like a drumset above my room. Parking is $19. Only one room key worked. No room pictures on the website (as of 10/18/2015), so it's a roll of the dice on what you're getting since they are "renovating" rooms. Expensive, even for the basic room. Entire hotel smelled like they had experienced flooding/water damage. Very strong musty aroma.

Pros: Staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast and coffee were good. Convenient location. The grounds and rooms were clean.
Cons: Parking lot was small and very tight to park in. I had to wait about 10 minutes when checking in as the lone rep at the front desk sorted out some staffing issue. There was daylight coming through the door to the room that let every sound from the parking lot come in. Both nights we stayed there, there was some sort or argument happening in the parking lot or adjacent rooms.
Pros: Very clean, all staff helpful and nice. Will stay again and recommend to others.

Cons: I had a queen suite. For a suite it was small. Definitely not worth the money. I will look for other hotels next time I need to stay over in that area.
Pros: Room was cozy w fireplace. Breakfast large variety/ choices
Pros: Location, amenities, perfectly equipped rooms and very spacious.
Cons: Nothing I was not happy about!!
There were several places to sit and visit inside as well as outside and there was even a BBQ! I've never seen that at a hotel before! We will be looking at this hotel again for our future trips to SoCal
Pros: The spacious room and hot breakfast
Would not stay here again
Cons: The area had homeless people walking around all day and night. The staff was not professional. Our room had ants and the staff only said sorry. They did not solve the problem. For being apart of the marriott I thought is was unexceptable.
This hotel is an excellent facility for the price. The 'studio' is large, and well furnished. THe queen sized bed was very comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. The shower head was adjustable for e spray to satisfy everyone.
Pros: Excellent hot breakfast
Cons: Jacuzzi wasn't available

Cons: Gift shop prices were crazy - bottle of sofa was $3.49
Pros: Went through Kayak to purchase this room. Kayak seemed to think it was a 4 star. It is it not a four star, 2.5 to 3. Took 25 minutes to check in with only one person in line ahead of me, mold in the shower, shower was over all dirty and old, room was stuffy the whole time I was there, parking was 26.00, which is NOT advertised, found out when I got there, Internet was 14.95, which I was advised of that when I arrived although my receipt showed a king size room - Internet. My fault for assuming that if was included. won't stay here again, especially for the rate that I was charged.
Cons: Hmmmm... Large bath towels
Pros: Friendly And efficient staff
Quick and accommodating check in
Cons: Small pool with no bar also the sun is blocked by the hotel itself.
Pros: comfort, location, and view
Cons: the people
Pros: Friendly staff from top to bottom. Clean rooms and prompt service.
Cons: Parking structure was a little confusing with elevator locations and signage directing to main lobby from parking structure.
Pros: clean rooms, luxury, close to restaurants, beach and boutiques.
Pros: Liked the service of the staff;
Liked the comfortable bed;
Liked the cleanliness of the bathroom
Cons: overnight parking was too expensive!
Pros: very clean, spacious room, great bet and pillows.
Cons: Dated in its amenities. For example, checking in late evening, only limited room service is available, and no wine or beer offered. Internet service is not free. Exercise room was limiter. Least favorite thing was the view of the office building next door.
Pros: The room was spacious, clean and had a nice view.
Cons: The pool was small and needed an update
Pros: The location is nice. The view was good. Fast service.
Cons: They need to be green. The doors made a lot of noise when they closed. No low flow toilets. The shower handle was lose. They should have chargers for Mac products.
Pros: I loved the location and the architecture...The staff and food were excellent..
Cons: That I had to pay for wi-fi

Cons: Even though the is no smoking the room had a slight smoke smell. Don't know if the rooms need to be more aired out or something?
Pros: Wifi did not work in my room and hotel had no explanation or help to fix problem other than to give me free wifi. Useless.
Room had mildew smell.
Front area of suite is not functional.
Pros: I absolutely loved the atmosphere!
Pros: Nice breakfast
Cons: Charge too much for room where the ceiling is saggy looking and looks water damaged.
Pros: Room was clean, roomy and comfortable
Cons: Hotel is under big construction project. Lots of dust and construction noise during day. Bar and restaurant amenities not available for now due to construction. I'm sure once it's all done it will all be great again
Pros: Restaurant, good food and drink, very friendly staff in bar section and the breakfast the next morning was good as well.
Cons: where do I start, my room faced west , which is the front of building and the glaring light that lights the outside of building also lit my room all night long...Upon arrival I was greeted with a note on my pillow that read something to the effect, that because I had the do not disturb sign out they did not clean my room, HUH? I just checked in, Needless to say I didn't feel comfortable that my room was cleaned. When I brought this to the attention to management the next morning, she seemed to think no big deal they probably just left the wrong card, I asked her "Would you feel comfortable?", little to no response.
The other problem was that the air conditioner could not cool the entire room, especially the bedroom (its all the way in the back), which left me hot all night, where a sheet was almost too much, Overall I would not stay here again except it is so close to where I need to be once a month. For the price I would expect better.
Cons: The room 221 is the worst, is next to the washing machines and they work 24h.

Pros: Comfortable rooms, oversized, modern day TVs and available electrical outlets
Cons: Dusty lamps - every one them. House keeping cut corners, this one day, and hopefully, this one room only.
Pros: Great staff and room
Cons: you have to pay for wifi, business center, copies etc. I also expect a free breakfast for a room that costs that much.
Cons: My room reeked of smoke. I was not able to change rooms. A very poor experience.

Cons: Shower was only thing that was a little too tight of a squeeze.
Pros: Central to downtown long beach and the convention center. This staff here were all so nice and helpful. Orlando and Tracy (I think that's her name, smaller woman with a cute accent) were especially helpful while checking in. Rooms are cozy and AC was cold! They have a cute little lounge area where they offer wine certain hours of the day! I drank an entire bottle my first night. Great experience, my boyfriend and I will most definitely be staying here next time we come for a convention.
Cons: Shower heads are a little intense. maybe too high?
Pros: I have never had better service from any hotel even as a Platinum or Diamond Member of the big chains. The staff made my stay at the Varden nothing less than a pleasure.
Pros: the staff at the Varden is absolutely incredible. The owner is almost always present, and the staff clearly follows his approach to making guests feel welcome - friendly, full service, helpful. They generally work hard to exceed every expectations. Whether offering a bottle of water, asking how things are going, or helping with printing boarding passes and finding a good restaurant, they make you feel welcome, and ensure that your trip goes smoothly - great service, great renovation of an old hotel, unique property, and close to everything you need (wonderful and diverse cuisine, convention center, big box stores, if needed, etc.)
Cons: There is nothing to not like!!!
Situated near the airport, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of City Place Shopping Center, Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, and Aquarium of the Pacific. RMS Queen Mary is 1.8 mi (2.9 km) away.
Pros: The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location! Family friendly. Location is excellent because it's right across the street from Montebello mall and it has the movie theatre right up the street.
Pros: Just the bed. View was the roof!
Cons: All.. It eas in construction, a mess, i dident smoke and gor cjarged for smoking 200!

Our attentive, caring staff looks forward to welcoming you soon with our special, signature warm chocolate chip cookie.
Cons: Low quality casino. Smokers near every entrance. Management was very by their own "rules" and unwilling to make any type of exceptions to make our stay more comfortable. Ended up cutting our stay short and booking a room with Hilton instead.
Pros: I liked the low price on bar drinks and hospitality
Pros: Great rate, room service was good, good value, convenient location. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: It was next to outlets which was nice, right off highway and had everything you need. Its not your LA hotel but its a good option. We found movies near, shopping, on site eating. It was about 40 minutes from West Hollywood so we could get into the city and it was good to stay out of all the traffic.
Welcome to the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Los Angeles- Commerce Casino within minutes of the local business and industrial communities as well as 10 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. The Crowne Plaza Los Angeles is attached to
Cons: Short-tempered, abrasive, and frankly disengaged staff. Shame they set the environment poorly.
Pros: I loved the historical value of staying on the ship.
Cons: The housekeeper had not made up my room by 3pm. I called guest services to ask if the housekeeper was going to clean my room. She came right away. However, she was rude when I opened the door stating "did you want me to clean your room or not?" I told her I wouldn't have called had I not wanted my room cleaned. She was just nasty so I did not leave her a tip.
Cons: Gift so not open early enough. Princess Diana enemy closed on a Friday until 3pm.
Why not babe it open all day especially on a Friday
Pros: Staying on a piece of history, traveling back in time, something new around every corner.
Cons: Ran out of hot water taking a quick shower.
Pros: Such a cool experience! We were upgraded from a standard (no window) room to one with a porthole, which was fabulous. Our room was no frills, but clean, and was quiet even though we were very near the renovation area. We ate and had a drink in the observation bar, which was very cool, and were able to explore many parts of the ship, even though we got in late, probably around 8 pm. Would definitely go back!
Cons: The tours and museum type areas do close pretty early, so we were unable to access these as we got in later and had to take off in the morning. No breakfast, but we did eat at the expensive Starbucks on board.
Pros: I absolutely loved exploring! After being out Kate and freezing, it was so nice to come back to a warm and toasty room.
Cons: Wished I was able to stay longer. My suitcase was super heavy and I got a small blister from carrying it; I kept Hopi g that there would be someone with a cart around to help. It's ok though. A tour guide going through the hallway woke us up in the morning.
Pros: I loved the feel of the golden age of ocean liners onboard. My girlfriend and I decided to stay the night before our cruise on Carnival the next day, which is conveniently located next to the ship.
Cons: I wish more areas were open to guests such as the 1st class pool and grand ballroom.
Pros: I love the concept of The Old Ship and the stateroomsecond as well as it being right on the water.
Cons: The front desk staff was really rude. He just had an attitude the whole time and didn't want to accommodate us. We thought that we booked a room with two queens but it only had two twins and he was just very snobby about it. The rooms were very hot the air conditioner barely worked. I feel for the price it is not worth it. If they are charging over $200 a night, that's including tax, there needs to be a lot more luxury to the hotel. The toilet did not flush very well in the bathtub was uneven. It really needs a facelift.
Pros: The ship was a grand experience! Love the history lots of things to explore. The beds were comfortable! I liked the original fixtures in the room. I can only image the people long ago entering the rooms and using the ship! Food was good! We ate in The Chelsea Chowder House and Bar. Slightly priced but the food was excellent and service was outstanding!!!
Cons: Paying for the use of the WIFI And parking that seems odd to me because back east those items are free?!
Other thing drove nuts--the walls seemed to be paper thin the 3-women in the cabin next to us were so loud!! It was a joy when they left the room or went to sleep!!!!
However I understand that would not be an issue when the engines would be humming at sea!!
Pros: What I like is the history about the Ship and the Location. I understand that there is an investment proyevt to improve the condition of the ship, incluían Public Areas and Rooms. Great view from the Decks.
A lot of Potential to be a nice lace that was before. Get the Ship back in good shape and not just take advantage of the name! (This is for the Operators)
My room was M216
Cons: I did not like the conditions of the room. It was not clean! No mentioned in the reservation that will be inside room! Big difference! Items were really old and rusty mainly in the Bathroom! Shawrr door, one light bulb missing, the chain of the lock at entrance door broken, I went to get ice and the bucket had brown water with a plastic bag!! And the door of the Air Conditioning, which was above the bed was showing further prints All over in a white door!
The hotel should not rent this rooms anymore!
Pros: Unique and different. Good food although pricey as well. Lot's of things to do and see. Lot's of channels in room.
Cons: Bed a bit small... We went during a special event and spent extra for the winter "chill" event. avoid at all costs. totally overpriced for what you get. Most disappointing part of our trip.
Pros: Cool old ship.
Cons: It's old ship, so the rooms are a bit old and not exactly sparkling clean. But the real issue is the Dark Harbor, haunted house event that goes on in October. We were not informed till arriving that are room would be adjacent to this raucous event. From 7pm until 1 am in the morning, extremely loud music, screaming, grass breaking and roaring gas flame would shoot off. It's criminal that the Queen Mary would rent rooms next to this mess. Oh but the front desk gives out cheap ear plugs, so that makes it all better.... not. We were on our one year anniversary and needless to say, were extremely disappointed and frustrated,
The Queen Mary, once an ocean liner and now a hotel permanently docked in Long Beach Harbor, features a calendar of events that includes car shows, music festivals, and Halloween haunts each year.
Pros: The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. The carpet in my room was filthy. I made sure to always wear my socks but just from taking few steps my white socks were very dirty. Breakfast is ok. It's nice to have some food available. I'm not a big breakfast eater so, some eggs and toast and coffee was perfect for me.
Pros: Not too far from the highway. Ladies who worked there were kind enough to chase after me when I forgot my shoes. They also lent me a phone charger (which I forgot to give back), so which is why I am obligated to write a review. Not like I needed the reason.
The rooms are nicer in person than in photos. The showerhead though was very very old and needed replacing. I mean its only like 20 bucks. The hotel should replace those rather than look slightly cheap.
The workers were mostly nice. A couple ladies couldn't speak english, which is inconvenient, but its ok they did their jobs mostly well. Front desk is works fast and quick to respond to any needs.
Lots of parking spaces. Free wifi. What is there not to like.
Cons: Continental Breakfast was a little dirty, but acceptable. I don't expect 5 star treatment from La Quinta, but I think more than 1 person should be managing it.
This is a nit picky, but the lights inr our room were LED lights and were of different colors. Not a huge issue.
Pros: Hotel is in good order, comfortable beds, modern. Basic but good option if you are just looking for a comfortable night sleep in LA. Free parking was a bonus.
Cons: Hot breakfast options are terrible, skip the free breakfast unless you go for continental (cereal, fruit etc.)
Pros: SUPER SUPER CLEAN HOTEL AND GREAT STAFF.
Pros: The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. It was well located near our son.
Cons: The back stairwell was filthy and our dresser drawers would't stay closed.
Pros: Very clean and friendly staff, would stay here again!
Pros: Very clean and very nice front desk associates
Cons: Around 8am the cleaning crew was so loud slamming doors and talking very loudly. It woke my husband and I up abruptly several times and we were looking forward to sleeping in after a very late night of working.
Pros: Quiet, comfortable beds, pleasant staff
Cons: the front desk staff was very rude and the room, especially the bathroom was dirty. I asked to be provided a clean room and my request and the front desk clerk smiled and declined. Breakfast was terrible. ...
Pros: AC was cold.
Cons: Breakfast was worse than microwaveable food. Sausage pucks, and tons of white bread. Don't let the breakfast make you think about staying here.
Area is in the hood. like don't walk around near the hotel after dark.

Pros: Comfortable and attractive room. store with snacks and drinks. Private underground parking garage.
Cons: Pay for parking ($10/night) and expensive deposit ($100). Neighborhood is kinda ghetto but you don't feel that way once you're inside the hotel.
Pros: Shuttle service
Pros: Location...so glad I chose to stay downtown instead of an airport hotel. Close to water, great restaurants, nightlife etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Comfy bed. Keurig in room.
Pros: The staff was nice to move myself and my family from room to another, due to neighbors smoking weed on a nonsmoking floor.
Cons: Both floors I stayed on happened to smell tank of weed despite being on a non smoking floor
Pros: Staff was friendly and attentive.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. No continental breakfast. No fridge.
Cons: out dated beds
Pros: Every thing was Great..Nice Rooms..Comfortable Beds..Staff were Amazing
Cons: Resturant at the Hotel closed Early@10:00 Pm that sucks.
Need More help in the Resturant area..Only 1 Person working all Bar for them.... I wanted to Jump in and Help LoL...
Pros: Stayed in a double for New Year's Eve. Upon check in the woman at the front desk was very friendly and quick with the check in as well as helpful by letting us know about the free shuttle that would take us to Pine Ave for NYE! Loved that the hotel provided this!! The room was clean and had plenty of mirrors and outlets which was good when there are 3 girls trying to get NYE ready. Very happy parking was also provided. Though we didn't use it, room had a microwave which was unexpected but a pleasant surprise.

Cons: The stay was the worst experience I have ever had. The hot tub was very dirty. It had sand in it. Who knows when the last time it was cleaned. The pool was dirty as well. There was bottle caps in the room which tells me the room was not clean properly.
My husband has been a Hilton honors member since 2012. Which means we travel a lot and expect more from any Hilton hotel.
We arrived and we had to wait, we have never had to wait before. Customer service was horrible until my husband called and let you know that he was a member.
I know I will never stay at this location again. I feel like I paid a lot of money for a 1-star hotel service. I am very disappointed Hilton.
Pros: Nice hotel near downtown Whittier with restaurants close by. Comfortable beds, clean room, nice and pleasant staff, good room service (breakfast in morning and it was on time!), and nice view. We've stayed here before and would stay again!
Pros: Clean and good Sunday brunch
Cons: Customer service was very poor we stayed her our wedding night and had our out of town family members stay her also wish we would have stayed some where else my mom worked really hard on gift bags that the radisson said they would give out to our family members at check in and never did plus there was a mix up with out room and we didn't get the king bed we were looking forward to
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Martha, who cleaned our room, took the time, to line up my grandson's stuff animals on the bed. This was so thoughtful of her. This small touch really meant a lot to us.
Cons: I did not see a boutique, of course I did not ask where it was located either.
Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was so comfortable.
Cons: The housekeepers liked to Hoover the corridors at 8:30am

Pros: For a quick trip this hotel was perfect, the rooms, staff in general everything.
Cons: The food at the hotel wasn't that good.
Cons: Loud doors slamming all through the night. It was just liyd period. Had to buy ear plugs just to sleep.
Pros: Great value. Clean hotel. Better price than the Westin or the Hilton and you get the same thing. Plus more.
Cons: Couldn't check in until 4pm.
Pros: Staff was helpful and nice, room was clean, and plenty of parking.
Cons: The bathtub was peeling, the towel rack was about to fall off, and bad sound insulation, you can hear everything outside your room and overhead.
Pros: Location, comfort, breakfast quality and value for money
Cons: Front desk was not too accommodating to change king bed to 2 beds
Pros: Hotel had a great breakfast and comfortable beds
Cons: There was ants in the bathroom being on the second floor
Pros: Walking out the door for the last time and greatly relieved that I would never be going back.
Cons: The place stinks-icky-sicky carpet deodorizer smell. The room was unclean, the bathtub wouldn't drain, the air conditioner didn't work well and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. The staff moved us to another room that was better, but had clean issues as well. Definitely never again on this hotel!
Pros: just other hotel, room was clean, bath was ok
Pros: We stayed at second floor. But we were annoyed most of the time by the squeaky floor above us when someone was walking up there. Plus the next room's toilet was leaking which constantly made noises the night we were there. Another unfortunate thing was the AC system in our was broken. The receptionist told us to unplug the cord and reset the unit. However, we were never able to fix it. After all it was not that bad. At least, the breakfast got our thumbs up.
Pros: The cleanliness of the room, the friendly staff / front desk, maids, kitchen helpers. The location and the price rate. Breakfast schedule is pretty good and so is the check out time.
Cons: Breakfast. If served more varieties of hot breakfast, it would be good. The bed is not firm enough (bouncy). No jacuzzi / pool.
