It was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. no
excellent helpful staff lack of bar / restaurant service and opening times
Nice and big room.
Excellent value and extremely well placed for the historical quarter of the city.
Good location, great breakfast Parking expensive
Convenience of being able to walk everywhere easily. The breakfast in the room service was a bit confusing! Sat morning none arrived due to nobody picking up our 'order sheet' from our door! Had to say at reception - much better Sun A.M.! Plus, no food served in cafe/bar until 8.30pm - we know Spain eats late! But on this occassion, going to a van morrisson concert for 9pm meant we would have welcomed a decent full service. The reception guy was very good and arranged some basic food - unfortunately, the Pork Baguette eaten by my wife made her very ill during the concert!! It was definitely that as I was ok and had not eaten one! We did say at check out and received 7e off bill!
quality and comfort very helpful at front of desk
Excellent location and great value, clean and comfortable room and helpful English speaking staff. Lack of facilities for a 4 star hotel-no gym
I felt comfortable N/A
Fox was the only english news. Cnn, bbc, EuroNews would all be better
the room was cosy and clean there was no basic service like a tothbrush, toothpaste, lotions or anything, which you can usually find in 4 star hotels.
Comfortable, clean, quiet room. We were allowed to leave our car in the car park for 4 hours after check out. Parking charge is double that charged by the Murcia Hotel Nelva
Modern clean room with ample toileteries, towels etc. The flat screen tv lent to the modern theme of the room. It was great to have a real double bed not two single beds together.
Restaurant meal and staff were wonderful. Reception staff were friendly and most helpful. Parking costs were very expensive.
The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with suggestions and directions. I would have like to have a coffee pot in the room and to be able to use the 30 minutes WiFi in the room, rather than in the lobby.
Location Room smelt of cigarrette smoke and bathroom was small, not easy to use the toilet paper due to where situtated.
We have stayed at this hotel many times. On this occasion we noticed a big change. Staff have lost their smile and gave the impression that the bosses have lost interest & ignore feedback. Also charging €10.50 for a slow 256Kbps ADSL line is a rip off. Next time we will stay at the Nelva - not quite so "centrico" but better rooms, better beds, better bathrooms, better service, same price, free WiFi, cheaper parking.
Visiting the sights of the city of Murcia Nothing really.
close to shops Hard to park outside the hotel on first arrival. The hotel could do with redecoration.
good location parking difficult
pleasant hotel clean, friendly staff very difficult to find, extremely difficult parking, also very difficult to find entrance to parking
We arrived on a public holiday and the hotel was very quiet. Reception staff were most helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The location of the hotel is such that it is only minutes walk from the historic centre of Murcia and from a wide selection of places to eat. As with many city centre hotels in Spain, the car park is a nightmare with limited space and many obstructions. A public car park is nearby and would have been a better option. Our room on the first floor overlooked the square at the rear of the hotel and it was not possible to obscure the windows to stop being overlooked. The curtains were heavy and almost blacked out the room.
nice building, very central and good breakfast slightly tired paintwork
Central, good restaurants very close, very efficient desk and parking service room small, but no problem for short stay
the service, the cost the bathroom was a bit tight, the elevators quite ugly and I don´t think it deserves to be a 4 star (although the deal I got was great)
The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging Although touted as being a 4*, this was probably awarded some years ago - the rooms could do with a 'refresh'.
Location and staff friendliness. Pillows were rather flat and uncomfortable.
Bottled water should be made available at all times.
Comfortable, clean, close to the city center and central bus station. The breakfast was poor - just few pieces of cheese and ham, dried off and shrunk...
Good locaton in the middle of the city.
It was clean and central The room was on the small side and the breakfast was prettyu limited (shortage of fresh fruit and lacked variety)
Ok space might be little small in the room but I really prefer this hotel than many other 4* hotels. Even if "on the street" hotel is quiet for the location. Staff was execellent and i'm sorry for not finding the same guy on reception when leaving as I wanted to thank him for the room he gave us; the window was on the street and gave us the opportunity on 1st of may to have a priviledged view over a local celebration in the church in front of the hotel. Room is very clean and well designed/furbished considering infrastructural limits. Breakfast was very good and also a good choice we'd recommend. We were in a city trip but the hotel is also best for business. Well, yes the big problem is parking and being by car we've lost more than 1+1/2 hour to be lucky enough to find a parking place (in a forbidden area anyway). A towel hang was unsticked but this is suck a minor item compared to the rest that I still keep on suggesting the hotel (unless you're nervous on parking)
Morning meal was good but felt rushed by staff to leave at 10:00 AM Lack of parking a problem even at check in. Surrounded by old buildings and neighborhood.
This hotel was central to where I needed to be. Everything in the room was smart, clean and worked! Despite being in a busy location, it was not noisy. Staff were always accomodating and friendly. My previous experiences of single rooms left a lot to be desired, but not this one. I thought it was excellent. The only thing (and this is very minor indeed) is that my room only had a window looking out into the central shaft, so it was pretty dark all the time and I could never tell what the weather was like.
The hotel is fully renewed, the room was very nice and confortable, nice TV set, complete (and expensive as everywhere else) minibar. Fairly good shower too. The cleaning service is quite noisy, forget about sleeping until 9. Breakfast is rather poor and absolutely not worth the 8 euros it costs.
We were very pleased with this hotel. The position is very central and the price was reasonable. We shall use again when visiting Murcia.
Internet access and free parking. The first room we were given smelt of cigarette smoke but we were able to change to another room.
The hotel restaurant offered excellent regional cuisine, served by attentive wait staff. Hotel concierge services provided excellent recommendations for city sights and arranged for taxi services. The local is convenient to historical landmarks, as well as the university.
Nice room, pleasant staff, good coffee in cafe. Not in the best area of the city. Too much smoking by guests. No matter where you went it smelled of smoke. Not good directions to get to the hotel. We were lost but got a police escort to find it!
Close to all the cities amenities. Good underground car parking facilities.
The location for seeing the old town. The food and service in the cafe and the restaurant were excellent The noise of the traffic. It is not mentioned in the literature that the hotel is on a busy road.
Very pleasant, welcoming and comfortable. Double glazing kept traffic noise to a minimum. Highly recommended. A small point but as a regrettably poor Spanish speaker I would wwelcome a review of English language printed material. Directions were not easily understood and this and other hotel information did not reflect the obvious professionalism of the staff.
Friendly and helpful staff; good facilities, expecially wireless and internet in lobby; good position and very reasonably priced
The staff were excellent all very polite and helpfull A very noisy hotel at night, we were located too near the restauant and we couldnt sleep. This is not a hotel for children.
reception and lounge area staff all very helpful, esp Maria for breakfast who remembered my first order and made it every day without me even asking, and the blonde waitress at night. Food and drink very reasonably priced. Lovely location, park across the road and train station 10 mins walk away, bus 15 mins. Excellent supermarkets 5 mins away (turn right at the front door).
Friendly staff. Modern. Clean. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
I would use it again Reception staff were very good
Lovely hotel with a good location. You couldn't get better for the price.
Vey friendly staff, who speaks good English and was very helpful with advising interesting places to visit. Very close to the city centre of Murcia (5 min walk) and all the city attractions.
Kindness of administrators (people at front desk); internet connection; room - tiny, but with taste; the view - (Floridablanca) park.
Staff were very helpful, spacious clean room and location in relation to city centre very good. Parking is in a secure garage a couple of streets away and you can come and go as you please during your stay. Our hotel faced the gardens - lovely view.
Very polite staff, value for money, nice location opposite park and near the river. Asked to changed rooms 3 times before finding satisfactory room - due to broken air conditioning, broken tap, window locks faulty, curtain rail fell off wall etc. Hotel seems run down.
It was central and easy to access. We were only staying one night so it was a flying visit. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was, paided for, parking but its a tight squeeze! The room smelt of smoke and as the room was at the front of the hotel the traffic was audible, although not enough to keep us awake. Breakfast was small and was the only time the staff were not overly helpful
The staff were fantastic - we´d had a really difficult journey and they were super accommodating. The price - for all that and 35 euros, couldn´t go wrong. Carpark. States it has private parking which it does, but there´s not way as hard as I tried that we could get the X5 in there. That said the staff reimbursed us the cost of the space and eventually we managed to find a space directly outside the hotel.
Location of Hotel to main areas of interest Lack of bar facilities, although coffee bar was open on our last day.
Ideal location for exploring the old town and cathedral . Helpful and friendly staff, bedroom clean and bright Bathroom very small with only a half bath. Walls are very thin, you can hear people next door quite easily
very central staff very poor at english.first room given was very poor,I was moved
Close to shopping we did leave after 1 night as was not in walking distance to the arena as we had been told. Were remoldeling so a bit askew. The person in the room next door took a shower at 4am and I thought I was in a raging waterfall as the wall was very thin apparently.
city trip the hotel need to be renovated, it is quite outdated style, but nice price & services
Hotel very nice but very hard to find!!
In the middle of town, especially useful during fiesta parking available, but access a bit difficult
location convenient for site seeing and shopping. Staff very helpful and courteous .Although we arrived two hours before check in it was no bother to them and we were allocated a room immediately
The location was good near the centre of the city and the hotel staff was friendly. Many of the hotel staff did not speak english, but the were though eager to serve in spite of the common language.
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location was just perfect in the center of the city, while it was cozy and quite.
Nice and cleam room, friendly staff, location. It was not really easy to find.
The Staff made every effort to accommodation our lask of Spanish speaking to us in English where possible. A Taxi was called for our very early start which was very much appriceiated. All in all a very nice stay.
Convenience for the city The restaurant belonging to the sister hotel across the road had an award for quality. We found it poor and quite expensive for the current climate.
Reception staff were very helpful at all times, the twin room was cleaned daily & was comfortable.
Excellent position to explore Murcia city We felt the reception staff were not very friendly
Adequate for a short stay. Good value for money. Claen and compact Easy and inexpensive car parking at hotel, without it parking would have been a nightmare
Good location, clean and comfortable. Room had mini fridge which was great.
Good location, clean and quiet Charges for car parking
We love Murcia. Very clean very beautiful city to visit people nice and overall. 10 Nothing. Like. All
The Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and spoke both English and Spanish. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Whilst the Hotel is not central, it is only a few minute's walk into the heart of this cultural city. An excellent location made for a good night's sleep. Whilst the underground carpark is adequate, some of the spaces could do with a little more room, and exiting is tight with a larger car. As far as the room goes, the only thing I would add is tea/ coffee making facilities.
Hotel is close to city center. You can easily visit historical monuments by walking. Conditions were also good. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful. The only bad thing was the internet connection. It's not working in the rooms.
Clean, chip, close to the station.
Althought beeing very cheap the price becomes a waste because of the bad-mannered personnel and the uncomfortable and stinking rooms. A pesar del precio economico, la relación calidad-precio es baja, porque el personal de recepción es el peor que he tratado en mis mas de 15 años de viajes por Europa. A pesar de estar en una planta de no fumadores las habitaciones apestaban a tabaco negro. Althought beeing very cheap the price becomes a waste because of the bad-mannered personnel and the uncomfortable and stinking rooms.
