I received a voicemail in Paris the evening before we expected to pick up a car we had reserved for the next 8 days. I was informed that there was no car for us, sorry. Called back several times at the number for National at the Gare de Lyon and no one ever picked up. Obviously a terrible experience.Reviewed Jul 8 2024

They gave us only key and we took the car from Munich. When we reached Frankfurt there they told us the car is demage. We lost one hour there and they found that the car was already demage when we took it. The main staff was very un cooperative and bad, but there was a black guy a helper in frankfurt office he helped us to resolve the issue. National car wants to steal the money from costumer. My experience was outstanding! Excellent car, spotless and fun to drive. I left my phone in the car and went back to retrieve it. The customer service rep took my information and went looking for the car. Ten minutes later she came back with it in her hands. What a great relief 😅Reviewed Jul 2 2024

There was no line at the pickup counter, I was helped immediately and the woman was so kind. We walked to our van which was clean and ready to go. No issues throughout the week, and returning the rental was a breeze. I just pulled in, parked, and since there was a line of returning vehicles the man told me to leave the keys on the dash and I would get a text later. That was it! Smooth, quick, easy. Couldn’t like anything about this rental since they never respected my reservation. Went for pickup at designated time and gave them my reservation number they found the reservation and had confirmed it had been days since I made the reservation but they decided to rent out all their suvs and inform me they wouldn’t get me a car until that evening or the next day. Way to accept reservations and then back out of that commitment National Car Rental.Reviewed Jun 19 2024
