I was not able to cancel the second night, when I needed to leave due to a Snow Storm. Kayak told me I would have needed to change the reservation before the storm came to get a refund on the second night, which was impossible.

the hotel is very quaint...room was comfy and the 4 poster beds were luxurious! Easy to find...convenient to Hartford...Noella Spa is a hop across the parking lot...I had been to the Noella Spa in Avon (stayed at sister hotel Avon Old Farms) and was so satisfied with the services! Only 2 complaints...room smelled vaguely of cigarette smoke and the breakfast was a little to be desired-ran out of coffee at 8:15! I would stay here again... I like Noella Salon....very clean and professional...prices were reasonable for the area The hotel is well maintained and luxurious! I had no complaints.... Rooms are def old, but clean and cared for.
I liked that they communicated very wedding and were very helpful planning my wedding night st the hotel. What i didnt like were the very uncomfortable beds. First night i stayed the room was nice but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I asked for a better bed in my room. They switched me to another room. Room was very nice and there was champagne for me and my new wife but again the bed was terrible. Throwing a feather topper on a 30 yr old bed thats rock hard doesnt add comfort. Please invest in new beds. Also the continental breakfast was subpar. Ive had better breakfast at mcdonalds.

We had a room in the annex and not the main hotel. The main hotel was very nice the annex was more like a motel...traffic, noise etc. Location of my room. I would reccomend only if you stay in the main hotel.
The staff was great and helpful. We got a free upgrade which was a nice surprise. The restaurant on site is very nice, and the food was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly. We were in the area on business and got back late to the hotel so we stopped in the bar area to grab an appetizer and drink. Excellent service. Overall great experience.
Grand entrance, beautiful staircases, vaulted ceiling in 3rd floor rooms. Nighttime lighting on the landscaping, big outdoor chess area, wooded surroundings. Always looking forward to visiting again.
I loved the history and the finishes/decor. It needed some updating in some areas. A bit rough around the edges but I could tell it was once a grand hotel.
From the beginning, the customer service was great! Heather, who was working at the front desk was very friendly and took the time to explain a bit about Litchfield when I asked. The hotel is quiet, clean and quaint, so it was a perfect for me! I will be staying again in the future as I drive through that area for business.

Staff was outstanding Room was VERY comfortable CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN- room looked as if no one had ever stayed there before! Slept like ROCK! Restaurant on site had outstanding food!! TV in room was crystal clear and large! Got a call from the front desk approximately 15 minutes after I checked in to make sure everything was acceptable and check if I needed anything- felt like royalty! Restaurant service was ok, but not as great as the hotel. Bartender (at dinner) wasn't too outgoing and breakfast servers were busy chit-chatting with eachother, but were extremely nice. It was very slow during breakfast, so I completely understand. Dinner, however, is a different story. It certainly wasn't busy, but the way the bartender acted, it felt like either he was feeling rushed or he couldn't be bothered with questions. He was VERY efficient getting drinks- and that's what you're at the bar for, right?.
The staff was great! Handled everything thrown at them with professionalism and did a great job! Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here when in town. Iron had a rust mark on it, which pressed right into my white shirt. Staff got that mark out and "pressed" the shirt. However when it came back, there was a new yellowish stain( and this was literally a brand new shirt I just unpinned) on the very bottom and the shirt was far from pressed, leaving me scrambling to finish and get to the wedding on time. Staff was great, and immediately responded. Can't blame whomever for not knowing how to press a shirt with an inferior iron. Just wish it hadn't happened. Only blemish to a great stay!!

Every staff member was professional and nice. Excellent staff made the stay delightful. Food was cooked perfect, and as a chef that is important to me. Room was not clean. Pool & Whirlpool was also dirty. I was surprised that as many times as the maid knocked on my door before checkout to clean the room that the place wasn't spotless.
The hotel wash beautiful. It was spotless. The breakfast was great. The service was great. We had a great mattress. Ma huge room. Well priced. I needed a safety pin or a sewing kit and they had neither.
Pleasant staff. Clean accomodations. Good value. Welcoming atmosphere. I can think of nothing negative about our stay.

The hotel and rooms are clean. It is just a straight forward hotel when you just need a place to rest your head. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Noise level is always reasonable. Rooms are a great size. The pool is always nice for the kids. The complimentary breakfast is good. It is a great value and there are always rooms available.

Restaurant with an excellent reputation located on the first floor Didn't get to eat at the restaurant because one my one night's stay- it wasn't opened on Sunday. Plenty of other options nearby...so not really a problem
The Manager is an absolute delight and very helpful!!! The facility is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in the center of Simsbury. Some wear and tear is beginning to show (e.g. edges of the doors to the rooms and bathrooms).

The huge canopy bed in the suite was so comfy, we didn't want to wake up! The place was full of history & antiques; it was beautifully & tastefully decorated. We were warmly welcomed & esp found Julia to be an incredible hostess. We will definitely be back!! The handicapped entrance could've been better lit at nite & easier to access. Perhaps a chair could be set up along this entrance so someone using a cane/walker could sit for a moment before continuing...

Yes - overpriced for condition of room and overall condition of hotel. Room was very worn and needs serious updating - especially the bathroom. Verged on disgusting. Peeling wallpaper, yellow stain on floor around toilet, grout in shower tiles.
Charming character. Picturesque setting. No pay per view movies or DVD player in the room. Continental breakfast was pretty minimal.

The Inn is a lovely place to stay. we enjoyed the indoor pool and chose the Inn over the 1820 B&B because the pool was there.It was lively as there was a wedding Friday.If you like hiking,kayaking,sightseeing it is all nearby. the continental breakfast is very limited. All the cereals were sugar coated. The mattresses need replacement. We had a handicap room and the bar in the bath tub is below the soap dish!!!The bath chair they provided when we called was useless.
Location/historic feel/really nice front desk gentleman. Also-we found out you are dog friendly-good for you!!! Wish more hotels were. The walls are thin. You could hear everything from room to room and in the hallways. Also-just like in many, many hotels- when someone closes their door- it is very loud. Too bad someone hasn't come up with a way to silence doors when they close.

Covered parking under the "E" Wing; staff recognition as a returning Marriott Platinum Elite member. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools. While it is promoted as a full service Marriott Hotel, it does not meet that level of expectation. On weekends there are no Saturday or Sunday newspapers, even in the gift shop. Room air-conditioning in 3329 was not working below 72 degrees; the bed comforter was too heavy for summer usage. There are many places that need fixing up, such as repaving the outdoor parking areas, replacing broken treads on farewell stairs, and having the concierge lounge open and stocked on weekends.

Hotel was modern and clean.
Booked via Priceline, paid Priceline and then charged again for the room by the Residence Inn when they were holding our card for incidentals. We spoke to the hotel 2 days ago and I emailed Priceline customer service two days ago without resolution.
The front desk manager required that I pay again vs honoring the pre-paid reservation. She actually advised me to call priceline to cancel.
The best! Wheelchair accessible shower (which I did not need); ample grab bars, very large room, kitchen, clean, comfortable bed; cheerful decor. Ample parking. Best 'free' breakfast by far, with some hot items.\n\nExcellent service; we stay here often. Nothing not to like for the Simsbury/Avon visitor. Hard to find the first time though--ask for directions.

I love having a kitchen, the office chairs are really good for working. The chemicals that were sprayed in the room were very strong- Even with the window open I got a migraine and was sick for 2 days. It was quite noisy between the elevator and the sounds of coughing. There were not enough blankets for winter-

Very clean. Rooms in perfect condition. Slow internet, limited cable that lacked high definition signal.
It had everything I needed for work and a great staff. The breakfast is totally unhealthy. There was a very unpleasant smell when I entered the room.
Rooms are a nice size. A full kitchen with absolutely no utensils cups pans anything! Are you serious? You have to request anything you need, with the stupid excuse they 'want to customize it for you'. Just have a cup in there at least!
There is no way that an Extended Stay America is a 2 1/2 star hotel. There is no business center to print a boarding pass, there is no daily housekeeping, and the breakfast is awful.

the kitchen the noise of the air conditioner I do not like the breakfast. it taste bad.
It was cheap. It had a fridge and microwave. I found a dead bed bug on the mattress. I'm terrified my apartment will now become infested. The sheets were kind of scratchy. The bathroom ceiling had some mold and paint was falling off. The shower head was not very firmly attached to the wall. I got two shampoos and no conditioner.
Nice clean king bed, and a shower with in-ceiling heat lamp, decent shower water pressure, and hot enough to melt the flesh right off your bones, should you so desire. Fast wifi with strong signal, quiet (although I think that was because I was the only guest in the whole place - felt like a ghosttown). Walking distance to central west Hartford Old building, and not in the quaint historic way, but rather the never-once-remodeled-since-built, shoddy ceiling patches and old hall carpet, do-I-trust-that-elevator-for-one-more-ride kind of way.
Room was well cleaned and very neat. Decent breakfast. Overall the neighborhood is sketchy and the hotel is dingy and worn.
It was a good basic hotel. Being old is not a crime, but the lobby does not give a good impression. Price, comfortable bed and having free undercover secure car parking were most important. One minor problem was the poor continental breakfast. But I would stay there again.
