Beautiful lobby and nice elevators - zero amenities
Nice vibe and atmosphere in the lobby. Room had high ceilings and a strong fan over the bed.
Rooms are sparse, not that well cleaned. The products were Aveda but that meant we got two mini sized conditioners and 1 shampoo. No body lotion. No room service. No mini bar, tiny fridge. No ice. Basically it was not the luxury experience we paid a lot for. Very nice staff though. Just don’t come expecting an amazing value
Great staff, amazing decor and cool vibe with a sexy swanky lobby bar!
Requested early check in at 10:30 am housekeeping was supposedly already cleaning room but I didn't get the call or text as promised when room would be ready until 4:30 pm. Was not happy with that but they gave me a complimentary drink at bar which was very nice. No restaurant in the hotel was a mother negative. They need to market their lobby bar to get a bigger crowd in theirs because hotel is begging for it with their lobby bar and lobby decor! Sexy and cool vibe!
Excellent location. The bar is nice and the cocktails are great. This was my first time and I liked it.
The International House was centrally located to everything. The concierge was helpful upon arrival in giving information about what we were interested in visiting. The room was clean and we were even offered an upgrade.
Loved our stay
From the front desk to valet to bartenders to bellhops, every staff member was delightful! It's an old building but has been updated and is very modern. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and shower is huge. I will stay there on future trips and I highly recommend to others!
Limited number of wall plugs
Good if traveling alone and like strong deodorizer
The bar and the lobby where very nicely set up. They have happy hour and the drinks were great! The drive from the airport was about 20 mins, but the location is great. Almost everything is walking distance.
Third time in Nola and this has been the worst. There was a strong deodorizer smell as soon as you opened the hotel doors. We tried to check in early but they didn't have any rooms available yet. They let us check in our bags so no big deal. The front desk said we would get a text once our room was ready. Never received a text. Called around 2pm and didn't get an answer. We were trying to be patient and went and grabbed a drink called back at 3:30pm (after normal check in time) and they said they didnt have anything available yet. I informed them we had to be somewhere at 5:30pm and were hoping to have access to our room. They put me on hold and finally were able to get us a room. Check in was pretty normal. Went up to our floor and the deodorizer smell was even worse on our floor. We got to our room and it was TINY. Can't even say small. Not bad if you're traveling alone but we literally kept bumping into each other. We will not be staying here again. There are too many other great hotels in the area for a better price.
Very nice hotel, very stylish, centrally located
Elevator takes forever and gym is really small no vending machine
The staff was great
Stylish boutique hotel close to several neighborho
Beautiful lobby and bar. Guests were a mix of music industry types, couples but didn't look like tacky tourists found at many mid level chain hotels
Room only had double beds; some Light food and dessert offerings in the lobby would have been nice
Rooms are not large, but they are cozy and the beds are quite comfortable. Complimentary coffee and fruit in the lobby each morning.
There was no restaurant or room service available during our stay (they were "between kitchens").
Loved the bar and atmosphere of the hotel
Parking was a mess, waited in lobby for 20 minutes then was told to walk down two and half blocks with bags and then was told to wait at a corner for my car to arrive. 20 minutes later the car came
