1) The curtains could not be drawn completely closed to blockout the sunlight early in the morning. 2) One pair of elevators was out of commission so every elevator ride was dreadfully packed with guests 3) The ironing board was a nightmare to setup. It was probably broken
Able to take us at the last minute when another reservation fell through. Great location, stunning views from restaurant.
A small thing, but the inside of the toilet bowl looked like it was poorly patched, and the overall result made it look as if someone had thrown up in it. It was a little off-putting every time we raised the lid.
It was quiet, and the bed was comfortable.
The self check-in system failed, but the front desk staff were very helpful.
It was quiet, clean, and close to a couple of train stations. The wi-fi was necessary and worked very well.
My room had no view or seating area (so I suspect that I did not get the room I reserved) Cell phone reception was very terrible. It was raining but they did not have a spare umbrella to offer me.
Great place to stay
Great place to stay while in NYC for business. Very nice and professional staff
There is nothing not to like about CQ
loved location, cleanliness, business center
My stay wasn't long enough!
Location and value were superb!
Showing a little wear, but still the best view of
Ice cold filtered water and plastic bottles to fill, free of charge, on every floor - a lovely amenity in NYC in July. Room was luxe and comfortable, affordable by NYC standards, but there are signs that maintenance is being deferred - poorly patched ceilings and window seals, sluggish drains, housekeeping giving the once-over instead of a real cleaning. This was our second stay, but it was nicer last year. I hope it will be back on the upswing again next year!
Better housekeeping and maintenance required - it's far from filthy and broken-down, but as an experienced traveler, I can see signs that things are being given a lick and a promise instead of the required cleaning and maintenance. My son's white socks were BLACK on the soles from walking around the carpeted room.
great location great room
clean well appointed room with great view and great price
Great price and good view from the 17th floor
Great view of the World Trade Center. Restaurant food was good.
Breakfast options were limited and exactly the same everyday
Great location, Spectacular View from Rooftop
The convenient location next to 911 Memorial Museum and great view from rootop.
Old and outdated, worn out pillows, sheets, and ammenitis.
Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in room no 825. staff are very friendly it is right next door to the world trade centre and a lot of building work is being done, I do not understand why people complain about the noise on previous postings, as when you are in the hotel you can hardly here it [yes everyone knows there is a lot of building work so why complain ] breakfast is good value , free internet use and free coffee in the louge I would highly recommend this hotel, michael & louise westcliff-on-sea essex england
We where not told that the room was a "pull out sofa bed" so I was forced to upgrade, I was also told by booking.com the breakfast was $8.00 for the continental buffet and it was 16.00
The Price, you can stay at the Milleniium for the same amount of money and its much friendlier and luxurious
The location is unquestionably the real interest for this hotel
may be we were unlucky but we had neighbouring very noisy and boring late in the night, noise again very early in the morning and the hotel just forgot our room cleaning while it was totally free all the day
The hotel was beautiful
I disliked the way I was treated by some staff
Great location, clean and modern rooms, free wireless & wired internet connection.
Staff not overly friendly
Beautiful, confortable and very very clean !!!
quite new.....very cleanly....comfortable bed.......
The Room are new and with good furniture. They are big compared to the New York Standard. The bathroom as well is enough big and everithing is very clean. No noise even if near to the constructions of the wtc. 3 different metro near to the hotel in 200m. Good free WiFi. Public pc with printer available. Free fresh water on every floor.
Complimentary breakfast is fair, but few choices and not refilled. Time for breakfast is short (07:00 to 09:00 am). Breakfast room is small and not equipped with tables: they are still finishing the hotel (Dec 09/Jan 10) and then there are only armchairs with small tables on the side. Staff not very professional. The price is already full even if something need to be finished.
the location was conducive to trips to various sites in the city, the staff was pleasant and the continental breakfast was nice.
