Well appointed and spacious (for Manhattan) room, and uniformly friendly, helpful and professional team members.
Staff were great. Location is wonderful. The view from our room to the west from 16th floor was terrific. We initially booked a studio and it was too small for our needs. We paid for an upgrade to the suite which was basically twice as big and perfect for our needs. Great to have a kitchen but the stove is old fashioned and we were not inclined to use it. The suite had full size fridge which was handy. Perfect for traveling with kids.
The gentleman who checked us in was simply amazing! He gave us gobs of information about where to eat, the best ice cream, and even the best subway route for our next day's adventures. I don't recall ever having such great service. (All the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly). The room itself was also very terrific - clean, sunny, nice views, comfortable, and incredible water pressure in the shower.
Extremely clean and comfortable. A bit expensive
Pros. Location, amenities, staff
Pros. Upper West Side on Broadway can’t be beat for location, accessibility. Grocery store right across street, and kitchenette facilities much appreciated. On site fitness center good for NYC hotel. Rooms are adequate and clean. Many restaurant, shops, and the subway are steps away. The cleaning staff was very sweeet and helpful.
Cons. Foremost, the internet service was incredibly slow. I actually left and went to Starbucks to retrieve things from the internet. Second, the lobby doors open right to the outside, and with the weather so cold while I was there, it was freezing in the lobby. Third, the front desk and door staff seemed more or less indifferent to guests.
Cons. The heater and fridge were extremely loud, especially at night
Pros. Great location on upper West Side; easy access to subway, Central Park. Staff is helpful, room is clean and nicely appointed.
Pros. Felt like a home away from home. Great neighborhood , everything close at hand, Cafes, Markets, subway all on your doorstep. Highly recommended, wouldn't stay anywhere else!
Pros. Great location in great uws neighborhood Good value
Cons. Parking No valet
