Hotel is just ok- lobby is scary but rooms are pretty decent actually.
Loved the bakery coupons, the luggage room so we could visit the Museum of Natural History after checkout and before heading home. The positivity of all the staff.
Pros. Staff is excellent. Valet parking made it easy in the city.
Pros. Hotel staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Awesome location.
Cons. Very tight. Looked bigger in the photos online. Wasn’t much dresser space for clothing. No fan in the bathroom, and the shower temperature control was very difficult.
Pros. Great location near Central Park Professional and friendly staff Close to transportation Good coffee and hot chocolate
Cons. Extremely small rooms, small bathrooms Bed size - standard No free coffee
Pros. Location is perfect, hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable.
Cons. Desk staff was consistently rude over 4 days. Not so much to me but anytime I walked through the lobby I overheard snippy sarcastic remarks being made in response to questions.
Pros. It was in Manhattan, and had a bit of character- though not original to the time period so that's a bit unfortunate. There's decent coffee for sale in the lobby. Appeared to not overcharge me, and no sign of bed bugs!
Cons. Room was 13' by 9' -that is being generous with the arms pan - that didn't really matter since we didn't hang out there, but it was laughable. Also had a shirt fall of a hanger just to retrieve it covered in dust bunnies. Key cards stopped working halfway through, not a big issue except it's a stair run up/down as the elevators are a bit wonky. Was hoping for old charm, didn't have much of it. Not really worth spending extra, overall. Seems like over $300 will get something special, otherwise might as well just book a Holiday Inn or something basic.
Pros. three windows in my room. Three urns of cold drinks in the lobby every afternoon.
Cons. only one small elevator working for the entire week
Pros. Flight was delayed a full day, so we headed over to the hotel and was pleasantly surprised at the how much we got for our money's worth! The staff was extremely accommodating as well.
Pros. Location Price Cleanliness
