Nice, clean hotel with great location. The staff was friendly.
Hotel breakfast at the restaurant Nice Matin next to hotel was really filling and delicious, but also really expensive. We found many other nice places near the hotel with half the price (e.g. Bagels&Co). Beds were comfortable but a bit short for a 183 cm (6 foot) tall person. Ancles were hanging outside of the bed when lying on your back. But it was not a major problem just a bit funny because I do not see myself as a tall person here in Scandinavia.
Location is great, near to Central Park, near to subway station (on weekend days is closed). Enough of pubs, you can choose from many places to eat your breakfast. Staff very kind. The price is corresponding to upper west side. Beds comfortable, but IMHO a little bit narrow for two people. Room was clean, every day it was cleaned.
For someone - in the room is not a fridge. But I don´t care. Noisy airconditioning. I prefer opened window, with the noise of city.
Quaint, quiet and away from Time Square
Residential district - close to Museums and Central and Riverside parks. Good location if you like the film 'You've got mail'. Very good Nice Matin restaurant attached.
No separate lounge. Building clothed in scaffolding.
Good & safe location, close to a subway station, good cafes and restaurants around, helpful stuff.
An unbearable noise from the avenue at night for the rooms facing the front. Consider advising the guests or provide with ear plugs.
