No restaurant in the hotel
Location perfect, bed and leenen verry confortable.
Old, moisture in the bath, carpet every where
The hotel is accessible to most everything and conveniently located.
The bathroom needed a place to rest your bathroom utilities. The sink didn't have any counter space.
Great value, very convenient location to Times Square
Very small rooms
Carpets were very old and did not look very clean...many stains on them. Bathroom was very small but nice.
The lobby, bar and front office staff were wonderful.
The rooms are micro-dorm sized and the bathrooms are dingy and outdated. The room gets so hot! Small price to pay for the location.
Only redeeming quality - HAMILTON playing across the street, plus HAM gift shop right next door.
Too stuffy and hot inside hotel lobby and rooms, even during heatwave! Thermostat didn't help, and it made our stay uncomfortable. Plus they accidentally charged me an extra night! Room too small, esp. for expensive price.
Room was somewhat small but if you are just using it to sleep, it's fine. Superlative location for the theatre district.
I cannot recommend this hotel at all. The room was way smaller than expected - not very clean either. The bed hat the wrong size. We booked a king size bed and got a queen size bed instead. The carpet was filthy, the AC and the safe were both broken and the heat regulation in the shower came off. The AC started in the late evening on its own cooling down the room to 60°F. Therefore, we called the front desk. The person working there was simply rude. We had to fight for an additional blanket. Storing the luggage in the baggage room was charged additionally. I never experienced such poorly service in a hotel.
I like the proximity to Times Square.
It was very small.
The location is great
Awful from start to finish. After 3 room changes because of the continued wrong bed size we finally said fine. Room wasn't very clean, old worn carpeting, phone didn't work, one plug for charging. One night charged 65 for car next night charged 75. We have a Nissan rouge..not an oversized vehicle abs same car both nights. Desk said it's up to the garage. It also took nearly 45 min to get car both times. Would never stay or suggest this hotel again.
The perfect location for a first-time visit!
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our first-ever visit to New York City. The hotel is located just half a block from Times Square, which made it easy for us to visit both yuppie tourist locations as well as hop on public transit to quickly get to more "authentic" neighborhoods. The lobby, bar, and rooms are nicely appointed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
Real estate in New York is incredibly expensive, and hotel rooms (especially bathrooms) are substantially smaller compared to those in other cities like Chicago. We knew about this in advance, but it might surprise visitors who are used to the acres of space that are common in suburban hotel rooms.
With a stay at Paramount Times Square, you'll be centrally located in New York, just a 3-minute walk from Broadway and 6 minutes by foot from Times Square. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
