Room size. I requested a room with a single bed and was “upgraded” to a room with double beds and half the space
One night stay
Great location. Friendly staff
Bed was uncomfortable. Needs new mattress. In the middle of the night the AC stopped working and the temp of the room reached 83. Nothing to be done about it. TV service was terrible. No cable??
Really nice stay!
I just returned from 3 nights there. What a nice stay! All of the staff was very helpful and friendly, good location, great rooms, and very comfortable bed. There's free coffee in the morning and you can workout at the New York Sports Club down the street for $15. There's a rooftop and lounge that I wish I accessed more with great views.
The doors are really heavy so you can hear your neighbor coming and going but this is true of most hotels. I think a large hanging, "Do Not Disturb," sign would help, they have these magnets when you want to let guests and housekeeping know that you're sleeping that say beauty rest, they're easy to miss!
No free wifi
Hotel was pretty nice, beds were comfortable and view was good.
No free wifi! That's totally unacceptable
Super friendly staff & great location made our sta
Helpful, friendly staff & great East Side location made our stay. Sunny, spacious guest lounge on tenth floor. Decent price; extra for breakfast with limited options, but the Orion Diner around the corner delivers.
Teeny-tiny room and no on-site room service, though you can get local delivery. Pluses outweigh minuses; we would stay here again and hope for a slightly bigger room!
Got a really good deal. Standard hotel with nice amenities.
Water in the room cost $7 plus no vending machines.
The staff was so nice and helpful.
Paying for Internet is crazy, we travel all over the world rarely is the Internet a extra fee.
Wonderful because of ONE staff member
The entrance is kind of hidden but the lobby was luxurious and sharp. I really loved the semi-circle lounge area and the colors scheme.
I didn't like the original room that was assigned to me. I was extremely excited for this booking as it was a birthday surprise for my partner. However, the original room was so tiny it was difficult to move in. As soon as we entered, there was a unpleasant scent. I wasn't sure if it was coming from the ac vent as it looked pretty dingy or if the room wasn't cleaned properly. I took a chance and went downstairs to request a different room. The first front desk associate I asked quickly prompted me that all rooms were booked. When MILTA who overheard as she was getting off a call, generously helped us out. I am forever grateful to MILTA for accommodating my partner and I and for Marcel for providing a room that felt like our own and not a hotel room. Thank you Marcel!
I forgot to leave a tip for housekeeping the first day I arrived. When I returned in the evening, I found that although the room was properly cleaned, the bathroom supplies (hand towel, shampoo) were not replenished. Everything was back to normal the following days when I did a tip each day.
The staff is very friendly. Rooms nice and clean.
Decided to go to the 10th floor for the $12.95 breakfast. Very disappointed with the value. No different than what you would have free at Days Inn. Do not recommend it at all. second day ordered a pot of coffee, tasted like colored water.
Good Value, Friendly Staff
The staff was very friendly which made my stay very enjoyable. The room was spacious for NYC standards. They were quick with bag storage, check in, etc. I ordered delivery food for dinner, and the front desk called the room and sent it right up. I was very happy with the customer service.
Wi-Fi is not included in the rooms, they did not refill the shampoo, conditioner, body wash every day, the breakfast on the 10th floor could definitely use more variety. They should definitely offer a non-diary milk option. They only had skim or half + half. Not that many TV Channels,
I paid 2 different fees which mean I was double charged.
