This is an incredible hotel in a fantastic location in Midtown. Everything was so easy to get to, and the accommodations are first rate. I wouldn't choose anyplace else to go!
Love the location. Rooms are terrific. Excellent team of staff. Only thing I don't like is unfortunately something they can't really do anything about which is there are about 180 units over 33 stories but only 2 small and fairly slow elevators. This is made worse by covid because you really shouldn't crowd a lot of people in the elevator and the staff have to use the same elevators because there is no service elevator. But that again not something they can do much about. Love this resort because to us it is so near everything that we need: Grand Central and Metro-North, subway lines, Times Square, my office on 3rd Ave, etc. We stay every time we have an evening event in the City.
All the staff are very friendly, thoughtful and genuinely care about their guests. The daily little treats are fun and puts a smile to our face. Makes our staycation so much more enjoyable!!
Pros. Lots of covid precautions which is a good thing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Maria at the front desk really went out of her way to make our stay great, starting with our room requests as we had 3 rooms reserved, checking in with us during our stay and even afterwards. And a lot of this was over the weekend when she wasn't even on duty! Lanasia is nice addition to the front desk team. Don't understand how anyone can complain about the rooms being too small or crowded. NYC does not compare to Florida. But compare these rooms to NYC hotel rooms and you will be blown away. Really great space for NYC and the location is excellent.
