Cons. Non blackout curtains on a large window facing a commercial building w lights on all night! Incredibly difficult to sleep in such circumstances. Very poor sound insulation as well. Could hear perfectly clear conversations from down the hall.

Pros. The staff are so friendly and go out their way to help when required. The central location is a dream and the breakfast is gorgeous.
Pros. Very intimate feel. Stepping off the streets is stepping into a calm and elegant world. Love the attached ba, Wheeltapper,r that has outdoor seating, which is covered and heated in the winter. I only saw it in the winter but it a great little spot. Central but hidden courtyard. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
Cons. Would've been nice to have coffee in the lobby and more lobby seating. That area was nicely done but hard to linger.

Pros. The location was excellent, and the room was very comfortable, well appointed and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the girl from Nicaragua tending the bar.

Pros. The staff was very nice and most accomodating when I arrived and my room wasn't ready due to a late departing flight crew. They put me in another room that was larger than the one I had booked. The hotel was in a great location and convenient to many attractions. There is a great sandwich shop just around the corner as well. I will definitely stay with them again when I go back to NYC.
