no issues, everyone was happy to help, customer service was great.
Nice staff, Pay for WiFi, no USB charging ports, ice machine broken on my floor and no refrigerator, I had to push the elevator door to get it to close,
Too crowded.. Not enough staff to help monitor the NYE madness. There were people everywhere in the lobby outside in the hallway... I paid Over &200 for a couple to stay ONE night there! And there was no continental breakfast... They charged me $6 for a bagel and cream cheese in the morning....On my floor there was a crowd of people just outside chillin in the hallway with a giant dog all night! The elevators were so crammed after New Years it was pure chaos and there was no staff anywhere!! to monitor the situation and the stair were impossible to find no signs anywhere to locate finally a random man came and helped... He wakes ahead of us as if we were mutants and didn't say much... For working in the hospitality business it justifiably seem right. Later that evening my boyfriend went to get some ice and stumbled upon A crowd of people and a man seriously Ou of control. He saw him beat the shot out of a guy right there in the hotel. There were crazy people runnin around with NO staff support!!!!! I was afraid to leave my room!!. My friends saw him freak out on two people on two occasions through out that night and there was no staff to call the police on him which needed to be done. It was stupid loud and chaotic and yes it wasNYE but this place looked classy and professional on the outside but they had no care to have the staff they needed for such a crazy night.. And not feeding us anything not even juice or Coffee!!!! in the morning for the amount we paid is just stupid. I will never return.
checking out and checking into the marriott down the street stayed 4 nights; service provided in the room on 1 day; had to repeatedly call front desk for fresh towels; clean cups; it's a party hotel for CU football games; if you're a family, stay away from this hotel.
This place is pretty run down.
Outdated and dingy. Elevator did not work. Staff called the place a "piss-hole".
I woke up and saw a bedbug in the folds of the sheets. I was able to kill it and positively identify it as a bedbug before bringing it to the front desk. They switched my room for the last night of my stay, but travelers should be aware of bedbugs in the sporting wing of the hotel.
Nice, clean, comfy hotel with friendly & helpful staff!!! Absolutely zero complaints!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Flatiron Renaissance hotel from 12/21-12/27. It was conveniently located near my daughters home and with the Kayak deal it was a great value. My room had a spectacular view of the Front Range. The room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!! The chef makes the best omelettes and is so pleasant. Our waiter was like an old friend by the end of the week. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint is the cost of internet access is really high. I chose to use my computer at my daughters home but I was fortunate to have an alternative.
comfortable beds/pillows room very comfortable and roomy clean quiet excellent location "for us" affordable no continental breakfast
Aloft is very clean, modern with a friendly staff. The location and amenities were perfect for our trip, including the concert at the nearby venue!
Very trendy and modern Construction was occurring during my stay, causing loud banging. When advising the staff, I received an apology but the construction continued. At check out, I advised the front desk and was disregarded.
Everythingg The service counter looked cheap. & the side exits didn't not work.
The location is perfect if you are going to an event at the 1stbank center, otherwise I would not recommend this hotel. Staff is nice. Bed is comfy. Free parking lot is nice. The walls are paper thin, very noisy even though I was on the top floor. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom - you can do the math there. There is no food/room service of any sort.
The hotel could not be better located. The restaurant was reasonably priced, though we just ate there for breakfast. It had the modern amenities with the feel of a historic hotel. The have a small fitness room, but you can work out for free at ONE Fitness which is a two block walk.
The view of the flat irons was great. Location was awesome. The hotel was both modern and charming. The furnishings were nice. Second vanity and sink outside the bathroom. We did not drive (because we knew parking would be limited and expensive). Although I would have expected a pool given the price, there was a lot to do in the area. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. We like room service. However, the one breakfast we ordered did not come with any condiments (salt, pepper, butter, jelly). The woman who delivered the food did not make any eye contact (although she was perfectly polite). We did not order room service after that. Also, there is no table on which to share a meal in the king room we had. One person had to sit at the desk on the other side of the TV console, so we could not even see each other while we talked and ate. A little TV tray for the other wing-back chair would have been nice.
The bed was wonderful. We also like the decor and location. Room service was good. Wall paper
Hotel is wonderful, with great character (it's on the National Register of Historic Places). Staff are very friendly and appropriately attentive without being intrusive. They addressed me by name after 2 days. The hotel had a water leak in another room and the room in which I stayed had a musty, damp smell to it as a result.
Loved the turn-of-the-century decor - stained glass ceiling in the lobby, original 1900's caged, operated-by-a-person elevator, fireplace in lobby, original safe behind the front desk etc. Loved the location right in the middle of downtown Boulder with access to shopping, restaurants and the beautiful trail beside Boulder creek. Staff were delightful - as the hotel wasn't full, they upgraded us to a suite, so the 3 of us had both a living room and a bedroom in the historic side of the hotel. Perfect. Enjoyed a perfect dinner in the hotel restaurant. Had to eat breakfast at the airport. There was a coffee pot in the room, but not really a convenient place to grab a quick breakfast. It would be great if there were a coffee shop either in the hotel or next door. Some of the antique furniture in the room really needed to be re-upholstered. But the feeling was very turn-of-the-20th-century.
I enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. The accents in the room were very nice and make staying at this historic hotel very enjoyable.
I can still remember my last stay. Staff was not friendly.
Kind and attentive staff
Awesome old building, with good food and drinks. Lotta stuff to see and do with in walking distance. Super nice and helpful staff as well. Little spendy, but a cool place none the less.
Loved the elevator! Loved the old music playing! The staff was friendly and attentive. Great valet service. Restaurant was yummy. And the Corner Bar had a nice selection of good beer. Didn't find any fault.
Location was excellent; staff was very courteous and professional, surrounding were very historic. Nothing
This place is awesome - Closest lodging to the Boulder Downtown and more than accommodating. Would recommend for Business or Pleasure stays.
It did have a lot of amenities and included a hot breakfast. Staff at the front desk was nice. It is aging a little and wasn't super clean.,It was aging a little and wasn't super clean.
We had wonderful service from front counter service to calling and asking for extra towels which (Ryan) was so pleased to help! Staff was very friendly and helpful
Friendly staff. Good location in central Boulder. Walls were a little thin.
Friendly staff, very clean rooms, loved the layout of the rooms and how big they were, had a beautiful view of the mountains, comfortable bed, overall very pleased! There really wasn't anything we didn't like, even the parking was reasonable
Newly built, very well designed room Sectional sofa, have guests without making them sit on a bed. Lots of shared space on the ground floor Proper DirectTV with Program Guide & 10 free premium channels Whole Foods 1/4 mi away Empty mini-fridge Twinings Tea in-room $10/day parking. A couple of quick train passes overnight (earplugs on the nightstand, but I didn't need them).
The location and the value of this hotel were good. It was very quiet. Everyone could find what they wanted to eat at the morning breakfasts. Also, the staff promptly attended to an issue we had with another guest (they were smoking [weed] in this non-smoking hotel). For me personally, the beds were too soft. After a week, my back gave out. Luckily, there was a massage and acupuncture place across the street.
You get a great room for the great rates. We had the King Suite so I was hoping for a better view, but it wasn't that bad. Just a covered pool and fallen leaves.
Everyone was very nice, and took good care of me. Nothing
Location to where we wanted to go. Room cleaning service was spotty and only half of the front desk people we spoke with were very good.
People were very nice and helpful. Great to have complementary water bottles available!
This property has recently been redone & we loved the clean modern Zen look. All the amenities for travelors are there from email to printing out one's boarding ticket & more. We extended our stay so we didn't need to move.
A little ways from Pearl St but a solid overall choice for staying in Boulder. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Hotel was convenient to all our activities. Room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. A rental car is essential if you do not have your own transportation. A bit further out from downtown and Pearl Street area, but still very easy access to everything. Would definately stay again.
Everything was excellent, healthy breakfast and very well served.
When I saw the Pearl Street address online, I had mistakenly thought that the property was CLOSE to downtown - IT'S NOT. It's out on the very outskirts ..did I say out? You are not within walking distance of anything....\nI had some Marriott giftcards that I planned to use to pay for my trip - $800 worth. When I checked in, the hotel did not know how to process the giftcards, and didn't know who to call. They told me that I would have to put the room on my credit card, until they figured it out...which pretty much ruined our stay as I didn't have an 'extra' grand on my credit card - since I also had a car rental on it!!! To me, there was no excuse - they should know how to process their own gift cards, and not have left me 'high and dry' for 7 days. They did comp me breakfast (whoopee...$10...) for 2 of the 7 days.....
I recently stayed here for a local film festival and was very pleased. It is located right off of Foothills Pkwy (Highway 157), so it was easy and convenient to find. It is also only five minutes from lovely downtwon Boulder and maybe seven minutes from the University of Colorado campus. The staff were very friendly and even remembered my name the next morning! The rooms are spacious with very large TVs. The lobby looks recently rennovated and is decorated in a very chic modern style, and the food at the little cafe is pretty good. I stopped by the pool and the hottub, but did not get in. We also used the laundry facilities, which are convenient and reasonable. Overall, a great place to stay. Next time I'm in Boulder this will be my first choice.
This hotel worked out so well on our first trip, we stayed there again. Really enjoyed their cafe for breakfast (something as simple as oatmeal became a little special with assorted dried fruits and nuts to mix in). The hotel is nicely appointed, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Free newspapers, coffee and computers in the lobby 'business center.'
I've stayed at several different hotels in Boulder and this is by far the best. Not quite the best location for the University but very clean, comfortable beds and nice staff. My first choice when visiting Boulder. Draw back is it is a little removed from main area but within 5 min. drive to many places to eat, shop and movies.
Very comfortable. Easy in and out for one night stay. Clean. Staff was accommodating. Good value for price. Located near shopping, Target, restaurants.
Hotel was very comfortable. Enjoyed the indoor pool and it was very clean. Room was good size and beds were comfy. The room had a balcony which is hard to find these days. Enjoyed having morning coffee, evening glass of wine and just the pleasure of letting fresh air in, loved the balcony!!!! The breakfast area was nicely decorated, spacious and created unique spaces for all different situations. Food was excellent, health conscious and affordable. Staff was accommodating.
I have no complaints about the hotel except that it was a bit farther from Pearl Street and campus that I was lead to believe in the description. However, since we did take a taxi to and from the areas, it could have seemed longer because of the horrible construction traffic. The hotel, although, not fancy had everything I needed for a short or extended stay. I would stay there again if the price was right (and it was!)
I liked the premises Even knowing my sister was going to be on the same room later on the same day, staff removed my belongings from the room and evidently they lost my beloved cap. When coming back from work I found out my luggage and things were on a room behind the lobby. I was on a hurry to catch my flight and didn't even bother to mention it to the attendant. Now I'm telling you
Cleaning lady was always able to get my room clean even if I left the hotel late in the morning. Breakfast was quite good. Key always worked. Minimal need for help from staff makes for a good stay. Excessive noise in halls after midnight in halls on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Sounded like a frat party was going on. Did not figure out there were several movie channels in the 500 channel range until a couple of days went by. It would help a lot to get some sort of guide sheet. Mattress felt a bit hard and made it hard to sleep.
A clean room with a comfortable bed in a good location.
My wife and I slept very well the first night. Easy access to the toll road and to Lafayette. The options for breakfast were very poor, even though you're being charged separate from the room. Being disappointed we walked out at first, but then returned for the most minimal breakfast: bagel plus coffee/tea, with the idea that we'd follow that with a proper breakfast later and elsewhere.
Rooms were comfortable and clean; common areas were very nice; good restaurants and shopping nearby; only 10 minutes to CU Boulder Bistro seemed very slow and understaffed, especially in evening; popular items on breakfast menu were only available until they ran out of what they had prepared ahead, so get there early; mattresses were too hard and pillows too soft
Desk too small for working
Morning buffet was excellent. Housekeeping very good. Evening managers special very nice.
Great location, easy access to other areas of Colorado. Hiking and biking trails near by. Shopping, eating all within the same area. N/A
Location Price Quality free breakfast
The Hotel Employee at the front desk was great. Good location.
No hot tub and extra charge for parking.

The location is right in the heart of Boulder. Close to the university, shopping, restaurants, etc. none.
Location, service, accommodations were all excellent. Staff at Marrott were friendly and helpful, even the garage parking was convenient. We would have no reservation to recommend this Marriott to anyone visiting Bolder. All good to excellent
Great Room. Extremely clean. Staff was very helpful. Great happy hour! Enjoyed the fitness center. Great location.
We came to Boulder to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff member who checked us into the hotel sent a bottle of wine to our room to help us celebrate. What a wonderful treat!! All of the staff we encountered went above and beyond to help us.
Great location, great staff
Proximity to shopping center and restaurants within walking distance. Close to Pearl street and street performers. Staff was helpful. Water offered on arrival. Newspapers in the morning complimentary. Spa attached, did not get to try. No views. Overlook parking lot. Extra parking charges of $16.00 a day. Construction all around.
Plenty within walking distance. Room was very comfortable. Charged for wi-fi use and parking. Left a pub at halftime of a game we were watching to finish watching in our room. The TV showed BBC instead of Fox on the channel listed as Fox. Folks at the front desk just acknowledged others had also complained.
A bit pricey
Location. The rooms are old, the toilets don't flush very well and are old, the carpet in my room was torn here and there as well as the carpet was filthy. The front desk staff did not know very much about questions I asked about local things/didn't care? And on.
The room was pretty clean. There were a few areas missed. The first day I returned at 5pm to find the staff just cleaning my room. The next day I returned at 4:30p to find my room was not cleaned at all. Maybe they were short staff? They have a small indoor pool and a small work out room, but both were empty when I was there. I feel the hotel is over priced for what the offer.
the sitting chair the sauna seemed dirty and was switched off
The location was convenient to my son's apt. The hot tub is big although the jets were erratic.... The breakfast was awful--carbs & cardboard. Terrible lighting in the vanity area.
I like how clean and moderniZed it all was, however I wanted a room with a view and they gave us a room with a view of the construction site next door. The breakfast was amazing and hot!
I liked where it was and the room was comfortable Price and inconvenience
it was a bad choice, woundn't choose again. the shower didnt' work and the clerk acted as though it was something I did. The faucet never worked and I didn't have time to call for repair as I had a scheduled business meeting to attend and had to take a sponge bath. see above
Good location. Price good. Mildew smell in carpet detracted. Spa area dirty and needs upgrade.
The location is a little out if the way.
Modern We were first on the wait list for an additional day when someone called in requesting three days ---so they put this person in ahead of us. We of course moved to a more user-friendly hotel. Hampton Inn had the nerve to call us the following day to invite us back! We thought this policy was certainly a poor choice and especially since we could have requested any amount of time and then cancelled what we didn't want to use! Also, our room was very small and a bit overpriced.

The grounds were beautiful and the staff very pleasant. It was nice and quite setting - tucked back from the main roads.
Great atmosphere, courteous Staff and well designed campus.
The room was very clean and comfortable. I liked the back patio area the room had as well. It was not close to anything in particular, so the location was a bit inconvenient.
Large Room Adjacent to highway and train tracks (lots of noise)

Location, quality of staff and breakfast.
Clean, friendly staff, right off foothills hwy Nice breakfast spread Grounds nicely maintained Loud a/c in the room
More than a hotel room in an area convenient to our business in Boulder. Could not connect to internet on IOS devices. Called tech support, no go. Was awakened more than once each night by train whistle. Was not advised about train crossing disturbances.
The modern look and open studio set up as well as the private entrance. Not that I can think of.
The breakfast was excellent My room backed up to a highway and the traffic noise was very loud. The room smelled of smoke from a previous occupant.
