Pros:
The staff was very professional and engaging.The car was new and clean and the price was right. They called me the day before my reservation to confirm my trip and the car was ready and waiting when I arrived. I rented the car for two days. Once I showed up, the staffer said that the rental would have to be for three days, since the car rental place was closed on Monday. He also mentioned it when going over all the other terms of the rental; if I wasn't paying attention I wouldn't have noticed it. When I protested and said that we had agreed for two days, the staffer shrugged and said it wasn't their problem. The staffer wasn't rude or unprofessional, he just didn't care.2.0 Poor

The car was in good condition and operated well throughout the rental period.Cons:
The rental company had no record of the rental; we ultimately initiated a new rental agreement, which resulted in our paying an extra $50 over what was advertised on Kayak.10.0 Wonderful

I called 2 hours before arriving to confirm they had the vehicle. When I arrived they couldn't find the key and after an hour of making me wait said they didn't have a vehicle and blamed Kayak!!!2.0 Poor

I didn't use the rental because they didn't have anymore cars available. I called next car customer service 5 times to get refunded and no one ever picked up . I am infuriated! Will never use again! Absolute bad company and worthless customer service!!!!!2 locations in North Bethesda

Cons:
Despite our reservation, they had no car. Manager told us she couldn't help, so we should call customer service. They offered us more expensive reservation at location 6 miles away, but at a branch that closed in 8 minutes. And they didn't catch the impossibility of traveling 6 miles across suburban DC in 8 minutes, I did!2.0 Poor

They don't pick you up even if close proximity as only one person. They probably many customers to across the street at enterprise. The insurance purchased online is dreamed upon as it's in expensive but has worked some not for others. so cancelled Alliance insurance and purchase one with budget. Would have been easiest to go with enterprise...less frustration and head. I agree with someone else I was quickly ushered out but if given more to understand the important features of the car such as headlights and gas tank would be helpful.2 locations in North Bethesda

The rental car I was given was an absolute disgrace. It was not cleaned, much less sanitized. It was a cheap tin can Kia that shook on the highway if you drove over 60mph. I did not feel safe at all. When I booked on Kayak, I saw I could get an SUV for just $1 more, but when I asked at the Avis counter they told me it would be an additional $20. I will not rent from Avis again with the condition of the unsanitary and unsafe car I was given. Very disappointed.5.6 Fair
