Very quaint and, since we have good senses of humor, we actually kind of enjoyed the experience. The poor owner/managers appeared to be just barely scraping by and were trying, but just did not have the resources to make it work The biggest thing was that it was more than 20 miles from Lone Pine (where we searched) and this was not made clear in the presentation. Other than that, it was EXTREMELY 'rustic'.
Deffinetly a 'rustic' feel about it. Run down, old, but clean. Very basic. It's so basic that it may come as a shock! New managers are a bit overwhelmed.
Friendly staff, very accommodating. Confused when I booked a double room but ended up with one bed.
Large crack under door. NO TV. Manager turned central Air Conditioner off very early in evening. The room was very warm until very early in the morning
room was spotless and had a kitchen. Totally opposite then the outside and surroundings the outside is so run down. The sign is hard to read and makes the place look run down. The office space looks run down and messy. This place needs a LOT of work
The exterior of the motel/rooms belies the neatness and extra care and quality of the rooms. was everything perfect...of course no...but it's well maintained, the wi-fi is good, the cable is OK, the room/kitchenette for a king was neat, clean, & firm bed the instructions for the wi/fi should have been more precise...you know us men don't read everything. The satellite/tv could have had more choices for the $99 room fee.
Room, surroundings, staff. The satellite TV and internet were not in good working order, but that's what books are for.
The staff was very helpful. We arrived almost at 1am yet there was someone who woke up to give us the keys. The room and bed were okay, a bit small for two adults with baby , but we just book for two adults. oh maybe we were just too tired :) the toilet water was running, had to open the tank and fix it... c'mon it is supposed to be desert and drought in California!
