Staff very friendly and accommodating. Bed very comfortable and clean. The room was clean and quiet. Continental breakfast with many choices of food to choose from, good coffee, and juices. Clean Decent dining room. Clean and comfortable accommodations and a friendly staff. Convenient location. Fourth stay in the last 5 years. Love that it avoids my driving thru Chicago, Close to several fast-food locations, and just off the interstate, yet quiet. Will stop again next year.
Bagged frozen food is unacceptable. The room smelled musty/moldy. No air conditioning in the hallways. Rooms small but met our need. Stairs were dirty, stained. NeEd deep cleaning. Getting hot water was tricky. Had to turn handles back a bit to get the hottest water. No elevator! Distance for Ada room from entrance. Damp smell and moldy shower tile, the room was old and the furniture was dirty! Room smelled moldy and very damp, bathroom on floor had hair on it and the carpeting was dirty. Dirty. Blood stained bed covers. Awful mattress. Old. Very humid. The gym was falling apart. Room was kind of dirty and had a bed smell like an aquarium. The exercise equipment not in good shape. Might as well not have one. Otherwise nice hotel. That the room didn't have a microwave or a fridge. We had to go buy ice for a cooler to keep everything we had cold all night. Thought the price could have been a touch lower but will still stay again. No gluten free option at breakfast which is common so I brought my own bread. Bathroom still had washcloth from previous guest and there were long hairs in tub from either cleaning crew or guest. Mattress was a bit firm. Room had an odor to it. Supposedly facility was smoke free. A little run down. The shower was basically unusable. Dirty dingy room, dirty floors and stinky hallways. Disappointed in the breakfast and in the room. One of my party’s rooms had a lot of mouse droppings in various places - bed, dresser, near coffee maker, desk, etc. - and was given another room after showing staff pictures. Another one of my party’s rooms discovered an insect in the bed. That guest did a thorough inspection and found no other insects in the room. This was disclosed to staff when leaving by showing pictures. Handicapped room was not compatible with description i.e. no handheld shower, no shelve to put sundries, hairdryer was installed near the ceiling (!). Rooms are old and have very little noise insulation. Room smells so intensely like hotel detergent that they use for the towels. Absolutely filthy room. some of the hall carpets were stained and the shower was old but functional. Very cramped. Caulk around tub was dirty. Funny smell. TV didnt work, shower was loud, lamps didnt work. Old and outdated. Expected better than that. TV and phone didn’t work. our TV didn't work it would go on and kept shutting off. The breakfast was a big disappointment. Only until 9 am had to rush and get cold food. Eggs were not good at all and very salty, the whole milk was actually starting to turn I dumped it and the 2% was empty. Juice machine wasn't working, coffee machine had coffee grounds in my cup. I had a waffle for breakfast, that was it. refrigerator was broken. Heater didn’t work right. hallways smelled of cannabis smoke. beds uncomfortable. nothing for diabetics at breakfast buffet. room had an odor like it was damp. The breakfast was a bit lacking. Coffee didn’t taste good to me. The carpet in the room was dirty. Walked on it and my white socks were filthy. Someone spilled syrup on the floor and was not cleaned up. Bed bugs, door to room wouldn't close all the way when you leave. Leaking ceiling in bathroom so couldn’t use toilet Heat smelled Carpet was sticky. I have no complains. Heater didn’t work, ac was too cold and wouldn’t turn off. Had to unplug it and open widow to get warmer air. Sausage still pink in the middle and the eggs were still runny.
