Pros: the location, the food and the young lady who served us on Saturday
Pros: I have stayed here several times and have always had a comfortable and quiet night. The rooms are set around a garden with independent access to each. I do normally stay here in autumn/winter, however, when there are no people sitting outside until late. The food is excellent and good value and the staff have always been helpful. It is a country pub and has a beautiful location not far from Winchester.
Pros: Chose this hotel as it had a reasonably priced room for 4. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast good and staff helpful.
Pros: Friendly welcome and comfortable rooms (which are much better inside that they might appear from the outside!). Food is excellent although this is reflected in the price.
Cons: Disappointing that no food available after 2pm until the evening session, so hotel guests arriving throughout the day aren't able to get even a sandwich.
Pros: The friendly staff were always on hand to help. The room was clean and relaxing.
