Pros:The return was fine.
Cons:Rude, difficult person at desk who tried to make us take a smaller suv than website promised. They website stated a Ford Explorer or similar. They had one but would not give it to us. They said it was a larger suv than we reserved. I was standing there with five people with luggage, they wanted us to take a smaller suv that had no space behind the back row for luggage. Finally we were forced to take a minivan that barely fit all if us. The car had very dirty windshield that I had to stop and clean the filth off the inside.

Cons:The cars are not inspected and do not appear to be well maintained.

Cons:Hidden fees . They charged me $18 in extra fees. They said everyone has to pay it . But fees were optional on the form . How can optional fees be required ? Payless is dishonest I will be fighting them thru my credit card

Pros:I felt that the man that rented me the vehicle was rude. Also I paid for a premium and got a Toyota Camry. Not what I consider premium.

Pros:Even the guy behind the counter agreed that the attorney generals office would balk at this practice.
Cons:Advertised rate was $15.74 a day plus the usual taxes." All in" was advertised as $56 for 2 days. At the counter I refused ALL the add-ons ..insurance, gas etc. They would not rent without me taking the "OPTIONAL SERVICES" as listed on bill "RSP" for roadside protection. I told them I had it through my insurance. They said my car didn't have a spare tire so i had to have it. i told them no. The guy then said"if you don't take it i have to remove the tire". He just said there was no tire??. The RSP was $5.99/day. Fox and Payless Car Rentals are the only ones who do this. I got it back from FOX...will do same to Payless.
