9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nit and Nissa are amazing hosts, Nit in particular went over and above to assist us with booking taxis, massages etc. and the breakfast provided is delicuous!! Nit organised a scooter for us from another guest house (as theirs was rented) and drove us there to collect/drop off (to avoid walking in heat). Lots of birds can be seen in the garden and there were lots of lovely sounds if them singing :)
Cons: There were some barking dogs across the road- not constant and it wouldn't put us off staying here again, but it didn't add to the tranquility ;). If you are walking at night in Phetchaburi- just be wary of Dogs around temple areas.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and spacious and provided everything we needed in including a great fruit breakfast.
Cons: A few too many outside lights on at night

Pros: Amazing staff! The girl who runs the place is super helpful, she is genuinely trying to make guests life easier:) Hostel is clean and friendly, I felt there like at my friend's. We were staying on top floor so we had amazing view and terrace with monkeys around! :) (but everything is secured, they can't get inside or even too close). Breakfast is GOOD. Highly recommended place! Couldn't expect that much in this price.
Cons: Everything was good, even laundry service is good and extremely fast:)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Jane was very friendly, good breakfast, good coffee and brownies. Lockers in the room and curtain on the bed. Hammock on the roof
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It felt like a home away from home. Jane is a very friendly owner who created a beautiful spot for travelers. Had great conversations due to her excellent English. Very helpful with planning and organizing to explore Phetchaburi. Highly recommended! Great coffee indeed!
Cons: The city is kinda invaded by monkeys. Just be aware to not carry anything they would want -especially plastic bags. Jane helps out with telling how to behave. But it’s also good to know beforehand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed my time at the hostel and Jane was just super helpful and friendly. It is a really nice town and it is good to relax. The hostel was clean and had everything you could ask for, especially really good coffee. Looking forward to stay here again!
4.5 Okay
Pros: The hostel has a central location next to the Core Khiri Historical Park - 800 m from the train station. Many street food stalls in the area. The owner seems a nice person ....
Cons: - very noisy location, at the crossroads of two streets with heavy traffic even during the night - the windows actually don't close (even if you have AC in the room), so you basically sleep with the noise traffic of the street - lots of monkeys around, they climb the nets in front of the hostel's windows - over-priced for Thailand - in Thailand, for 17 euro /room you get a double room with private bathroom and a generous breakfast - breakfast is very basic (2 scrambled eggs, toast, some jam, coffes/tea)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very nice stay at Janes place. She is a very cool and inspiring person you can always have a good conversation with. The day we arrived she spontaneously took us to a beautiful spot at a temple to watch the sunset over the far away hillside. Also if you want to get an impression of very delicious Thai food, go to her place, as she is an excellent cook. You should know that around the area are a lot of cheeky monkeys. Keep an eye on your stuff but do not freak out too much as they will most likely leave you alone. Also a friend of Jane gave us some good advice on how to deal with them. The place is located directly next to the big temple on the hill and Jane will also provide bikes for you for free to take a 10 minute ride to the beautiful cave. Go to her place have the best coffee around and explore the beautiful quiet little city. We can definitely recommend this place and will come back in future.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Jane is an excellent host, feels more like a homestay than a hostel. Good to see the real Thailand so close to Bangkok
Cons: Monkeys are annoying
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is really good , it's by far the best hostel I found in the Thailand at this price. Although Jane the owner was not present she arranged my transport to Kanchanaburi. The staff is very polite as well. Roof is accessible which has got a hammock and apart from that you got common area to chill in all the floors (3 floors).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jane is awesome and special person that I could met. She treeted us like her best friends. Hostel was clean with comfortable beds, clean towels and in shower you can find bio olive shampoo. She is a great tour guide and she will tell you everything about Phetchaburi. It was really special place for us. She has a scooter, cool one in pinky color. Totally recommended!

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse where I felt at home right away! The owners are friendly, speak very good English, and are very helpful! The room is spatious, very clean and cosy. It feels like attention is given to every detail. It was quiet so I had a good sleep. From the first floor I had views on the palace hill and green scenery. Clean towels on request and shampoo and shower gel are refilled, so environment friendly. The location is on biking distance of the city center, the cave and palace hill and other interesting places (the guesthouse has bikes for use for free!). 7.0 Good
Pros: Staffs so friendly and helpful ,facility clean
Cons: Room and balcony not as clean as expect cabinets looked old
7.0 Good
Pros: Veranda is a nicely laid out hotel, very pretty to look at and directly accesses the beach. The pool is a good size and well maintained, as are the rooms. Ours at least was tastefully decorated and had a nice natural beach hotel theme, as opposed to being simply a brass and marble affair. There are also a few nice photo locations and a good number of guests were observed photographing their significant others, especially on the glass sided observation deck above the bar/restaurant. As for facilities outside the hotel, if you drive, or are willing to take a taxi, there are plenty of good restaurant options within 10 to 20 minutes. We didn't have the breakfast or eat at the restaurant, but the drink selection was pretty good and the buy-1-get-1-free "happy hour" between 3pm and 5pm was good value.
Cons: The restaurant that overlooks the beach next to the bar has a very small menu, consisting mostly of tapas-style nibbles and pizza, which was a shame as we would have probably dined in at a beach-front table if it had a more comprehensive selection of less-touristy offerings. The room service menu seemed quite extensive (we didn't try it) so we were a bit surprised by the lightweight menu at the restaurant. If it was possible to order something more substantial, the staff didn't say. Not a big problem, though, as we found a fantastic (and low cost) seafood restaurant just 10 minutes away. The only real quibble would be the decision to run the mosquito fumigation machine (a petrol-powered portable affair) at after 11pm on a Wednesday night...that machine was incredibly loud.
5.8 Okay
Pros: location and services
Cons: 1. the kettle had some dirt in it when I first used. 2. when i pushed the jacuzzi ‘s pump, a lot of dirt come off. 3. not too many trash bin in the villa. 4. the refrigerator was too small for the villa. 5. a lot of mosquito in the villa even though we didn’t leave the door opened. my baby was bitten by the mosquito, a lot of dot on his face.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean room and big beds, 6 pillows on each bed. Staff are so helpful when you called them, they immidiately come.
Cons: The building I stayed separate with hotel and a bit far from beach.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The beach was beautiful. Facilities were ok but some were too old. The bed was very comfortable that i slept well all night.
Cons: Breakfast time was quite crowded that only outdoor tables were available. The food was good but there was no soy milk available.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice design and facilities. Friendly and very helpful staffs. Private beach with lovely swimming pool. Very good breakfast.
Cons: The deluxe with bath tab room is in separate building from the main area. Very disappointed that we need to pay more than the normal room with less access to facilities.

The host was so kind that apart from letting us leave our luggage for longer than the check out time, she also gave us a lift to the train station with her own car. I can definitely recommend the place and I would have definitely used it again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, beautiful location situated directly on the beach. The bungalows are positioned in natural gardens that are carefully cared for, the pool is maintained to a high standard. The restaurant serves excellent Thai and European breakfast, lunch and dinner. First class service with a warm friendly smile.
Cons: Not suitable for people looking for lively night life. Ideal for a quiet vacation with a selection of beachside restaurants.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel in a very quiet location on the beach with almost nobody around. Lots of nice restaurant around and a local maerket on Tuesday and Thusday. Great wi-fi connection
Cons: Not everyone from the staff speaks good English. But the more you stay, the better you cope around with it. all the rest was good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location next to the beach and very close to fantastic birdwatching sites. The buffet breakfast was also very good - much better than many places I've stayed in Thailand. We stayed in a room, not bungalow, but it was roomy and bright, and the bed very comfortable.
Cons: Both the food and beer at the restaurant were somewhat overpriced, though the food tasted great. The water pressure in the shower was great, and while it was not needed, there really was no 'hot' water - luke warm at best. Would definitely stay again, though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staffs are very helpful and they always offer their service with their smile. Bed set is very comfortable and the most surprise is drinkng water. This hotel provide 4 bottles of drinking water for 2 ppl/1 night stay while normally the other hotels provide only 2 bottles. 6.8 Good
Pros: Clean, modern and comfortable hotel room with a nice garden, and kinda beach outlook were all things we liked. Breakfast (which was included in our room rate) and dinner in the hotels oceanfront restaurant was also fine.
Cons: Tried to arrange a massage through reception but the Spa staff had gone home (mid-afternoon Sunday). And they could not arrange a massage for two people simultaneously for the following morning before we departed - which was disappointing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I can say that it's a pleasure staying here in the hotel zone (building). The room is well functioned with very comfortable bed. The atmosphere is very nice both in private room, the green lawn and at the pool nearby the beach especially good for family and kids. Breakfast is good. Staff is always nice and willing to help.
Cons: 1. No electrical plug near the bed for double bedroom. (plug might be at the center of the wall so the bed covers it.) 2. The beach can be cleaner. I'm saying it's nice and not a dirty beach but it has room for improvement.

7.5 Good
Pros: Service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a Boutique Hotel, run and managed by the owner. Room very comfortable with a really nice view of the city park. We stayed there for 2 nights as we were unable to get to Hua Hin due to the ferry being closed from Pattaya the previous day. The food for both breakfast, full English and dinner, Italian, was excellent. Phetchaburi is a rural city with not a lot of tourists, this is a very nice change from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The smiling, friendly Thai people allow you to become part the real Thailand. Easy access to the Phra Nakhon Khri sitting on top of the mountain and accessed by a funicular railway. This is a "must see" and this vast and beautiful site was a real joy to visit. The hotel is situated 2km from the Khao Luang Cave that house many Buddhist Shrines, although a bit run down a worthwhile visit. If you want to visit a bit of old Thailand and stay at a really good hotel who will make you feel right at home.
Cons: There was nothing not to like, I would have liked more time to visit more of the area. If you are looking for the Bangkok scene, this is not it. You can stroll around and just be relaxed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff, Breakfast, Comfy Bed
Cons: Parking, Stairs
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, Convenient, comfortable, good BF, staff friendly.
7.5 Good
Pros: hotel is close to all Phetchaburi sights, friendly staff, she offered to drive us to bus station (free!)
Cons: we saw the hotel owned a restaurant, but that was closed during our stay (which was very inconvenient, because we found only 1 suitable place at the corner); acclimation is very basic!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Within easy walking distance of the railway station and the Historical Park. Several interesting Wats are also close.
Cons: The only problem is the very steep stairs to the rooms. As a result the hotel may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host. She was exceptional.
Cons: Nothing

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Clean room
Cons: The manager has treated use very poorly! After we have checked in the day before. And clearly showed before we check-in and accepted our dog bye the mother off the manager. The 2de day off our stay, she demanded more money, because we had our dog with us!? And she claimed, she going find other things for charging us if we did not pay R immediately left the property without refund. Not to forget, in the morning we have noticed 2 other big dogs on the resort from their police friend... Then it allowed? :) We have never met a dysfunctional manager like this. Not a way off how to treat customers. We have left de resort, with payment for 2 nights. while we only have received 1 night off stay. They have a connection with the police officer. I'm guessing its family. She did this before, you can tell on the way she handles!
7.0 Good
Pros: This place is great for the money I paid which is only 600 baht on the weekend. It's a house with individual parking garage. The place has everything: good bed, air-con, soap, shampoo, towels, hot-water, TV, Wifi.
Cons: The problems was only 1 socket behind TV, not any others around bed and inside bathroom for hairdryer.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable and extremely friendly staff. Value for money!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room and bathroom.
Cons: Not possible to dine there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room! Very big, comfy bed. The girl at check in was super friendly and helpful. I liked that I could park my bike right at my door under cover.
Cons: I would say they should stop pigeons from nesting along the back of some of the rooms, they are noisy and a health threat because they leave their droppings all over.

4.5 Okay
Cons: Near temple. During festival at temple have sound until 2.00am
7.5 Good
Pros: The room is quite big for my family (4 person) and have separated living room. The environment is good.
Cons: However, in our room the shed is broken and its in the bathroom. The glass window is very clear and the trees outside are not big enough to cover the window. They provided us breakfast and coffee. The test is good but small portion and you can't ask more. They provided only 4 towels but no small towel and some toilet kits no shower cap or cotton bud. There is some shampoo and shower cream in the box attached at the bathroom wall but no shampoo inside.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Recommend for country side lovers!Realy feel home resort!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: - Natural - Valuable price - Cute cats
Cons: - Breakfast is small dish, only two choices but good taste. - Loud sound and noisy from another resort at night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Did everything I asked.
Cons: Landscaping needs to be worked on more often.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We love the fact that this resort was animal friendly. We were looking for a place where we could take our German shepherd, and we found this nice little gem.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast, we asked for western style breakfast and the host and chef can make it for us such as changing to sausages, beacon and instant noodles. They do not have menu and you can try their Thai style dishes. My mate cannot take spicy food so we also asked for grill fish, shrimp, satay, mussels, lemon sauce squids, pineapple fried rice for our dinner and they are delighted to make them for us and so yummy too. They also offered us the Thai style desserts and butterfly pea tea for free and we loved the taste. The host and staff are full of hospitality so you really feel great and enjoy the relaxing and nature environment.
Cons: I really think they can improve to offer brewed coffee rather than instant coffee and I would not have expected the swimming pool was not opened during our stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very welcoming owner. Lovely setting and natural swimming pool (you can swim with the fish and plants). Very nice room (family room for 2 adults and 2 small children). A quick drive to a choice of restaurants at the beach.
Cons: We stayed 3 nights. The Friday and Sunday were really quiet. The Saturday night was extremely noisy due to a very loud party until 1am at a hotel next door. We liked this property but would not stay there again if a big group was booked in.

Pros: Good location, helpful staff, free water and available fridge.
Cons: 1 of the showers was broken. No big deal
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Music in the chill area was really nice (funk/Soul) Very nice Hosts We Had a nice stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Seemed like a real travellers hangout. Nice owners and great staff.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Helpful and flexible staff. It most likely is a very enjoyable place to spend time drinking in the evening. I however am not interested in such.
Cons: Mold inside the living space, perhaps under the floorboards. Made me wake up to a coughing fit, and cycling became pretty hard in the morning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very kind and friendly hosts. They were very helply suggesting tourist attractions. The common room was lovely and the kids loved the dog Mocca.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owners and staff are warm, welcoming, generous and genuinely friendly, they treated every guest like family. The location is unbeatable! The common space is attractive, relaxing and well designed. The coffee and breakfast are good. The free drinking water is a very nice touch. This is definitely one of the best guesthouses in Thailand.
Cons: The second floor rooms are large but rather basic and too hot during the warm season. But for the great price I paid, I can't complain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good place with relaxing lounge.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It is easy to find.
Cons: Near a busy road so the vehicles woke us up during the night. Personally I think it should be cheaper for what it is and for where it is.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: For me the best part of staying at J.J. Home was interacting with the owners, Patrick & Ang. They are great people to know if you're in Phetchaburi. Patrick has lots of interesting and lucid things to say about politics, music and Buddhism. The music they play is immense: jazz, soul, gospel, funk, hip-hop, electronic, psychedelic rock; all dope vibes adding to J.J. Home's cool ambience. Situated on a crossroads, J.J. Home is an intersection between myriad cultures and customs, a container of unique and unrepeatable mixtures of people that will undoubtedly influence each of us when we return to our individual paths. Yes lawd!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Owners were super friendly and great to talk to. They let us store our stuff and use the shower before our night train which we really appreciated. It's a great place to hang out downstairs, and they play great music. Great location, night market and great restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed staying here, and phetchaburi is a great town.
Cons: WiFi wasn't great in the room.

Pros: The location is excellent if you want to explore the temples and the palace on the mountain.
Cons: The staff does not excel in English and the train schedule that they showed me was inaccurate.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Breakfast a little lite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel fine, owner really friendly. Room clean and OK.
Cons: Issue was Petchaburi. No bars, only small scale food courts, not restaurants. For the Thais, not foreigners.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean great family place
Cons: It was great
5.5 Okay
Pros: The positive thing is that the 'boutique' is close to main touristic attractions, including bus and train stations and shops.
Cons: We booked a deluxe room with balcony. What we got was quite a regular room with a big window, not a balcony with a view directly on a roof of a next building, dirty and fatigued. Bed was so hard that we slept on additional blankets yet still we woke up feeling that our bodies hurt. We resigned from sleeping a second night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location off of main street is quiet and very near 7-11, Tesco, KFC, and Pizza Hut. Within easy walking distance of many wats.
Cons: Have nothing to complain about.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great room, nice pool with a slide even.
Cons: The hotel is cca. 800m away from the main street, they offer free shuttle, but we prefer to walk.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff even though there was a language barrier they tried their best to accommodate. Very helpful when we asked to hire bicycles (would definitely recommend doing that.) Free coffees, teas and hot chocolates and toiletries. Very good value for money.
Cons: The beds were a bit too hard. The shower felt too powerful for the type of shower head they had. The balcony was small and couldn't fit any chairs on max two people stood at a time. Aircon was mediocre.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room, space to dry laundry, a small breakfast included
Cons: Very hard bed where you feel each single spring, loud TV in the lobby, staff speaks almost no english, a wall and trash in front of the balcony
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Location ...no mainland ...

Pros: Great location, love the food and room service and also nice car park ^^
Cons: -
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Large comfortable room with extra chairs (a bit dated) A/C good
Cons: No elevator - and we were on the 3rd floor - we had a "superior" room and that is where they were! But why did they put someone opposite us when the place was virtually empty!! No blackout curtain on the balcony door window - let in the searchlights outside! Wifi ok but has ridiculous limits on "length of use per day" - we had to keep getting different passwords (were issued without a problem) to overcome this across our 2 night stay
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great!
Cons: The rooms lack ANY character and we’re depressing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location near the Mandalay train station and the Palace. Kind staffs welcomed me and called a good taxi driver to the airport.
Cons: N/A
7.5 Good
Pros: Location. Right across the street from the entrance to Nakhon Khiri Historical Park. There is a restaurant and a massage parlor next door. Other restaurants were within walking distance. Breakfast was okay. Menu selection of different main breakfast options, and then a light buffet with fruit, toast, sausages, juice, water, coffee, and tea. WiFi was okay. AC worked fine. My room was on the Park side, so I didn't experience any noise issues, but there is a main highway on the back side of the hotel, so rooms on that side might have been noisier.
Cons: Bed was very firm; typical for Thai beds. Looks like the place could use an update.
