Bathroom was great! Staff is nice, there was breakfast included. Close to tram station.
Even for this price, the room was too small. Not cruical but still. Pillow was very bad, I had to fold it twice to be decent. There were many pigeions at the window making noise.
The hotel is about 15 mins walk from Praha Vrosvice railway station. The staff were efficient and helpful. I have stayed about 4 times and always get room 225. Must be there best single room. The room is small but clean and tidy with a tv. Wifi was ok but kept dropping out. Breakfast was ok and started at 7.30 though by 8.15 the small room was full and standing. So couldn't get to the food table. I was told i needed a voucher from reception for breakfast but several people didn't. Also allow 10 mins at check out as they have to check your room in case you have taken anything.
This is a budget hotel, so what you pay for is what you get. My daughter and I had a room with twin beds and a private bathroom. It was very basic but clean and served its purpose for nights: desk to prepare for a test in Prague, a single bed each, a wardrobe, and a bathroom with shower. Just a 4-min walk to tram stops to get a tram to the city centre and Wenceslas Square. The internet speed wasn't the fastest but was good enough for my daughter to practise online for her exam in Prague.
The check-in/check-out process was very slow, as the receptionists are very slow and not very 'with it' (if it's not too politically incorrect to say that, but just have to be honest). The hotel is in desperate need of modernisation. The threadbare carpets in the hallways and landings are very old and stained, and the lift 'bounces' in a slightly disconcerting way. The single beds are 2ft wide, not 3ft 6", and they creak loudly on every movement. The tram to the city centre takes about 20 mins. The bathroom has nowhere to hang clothing or anywhere to put toiletries, even though there's space for a shelf or table in the corner. Shower gel/shampoo and mini soap bars are awful (the cheapest), so bring your own minis or pop around the corner to DM (large drug store, which is a 2-min walk. We used Uber to get from the main bus station (Florenc) to the hotel, which was about 4 Euros. The lounge area is very 'low budget-style' and hasn't;t been touched since 1974 by the looks of it. It's not somewhere to relax, as there's a TV above the bar that's constantly blasting out tracks from the 80s on a music channel. The worst thing of all was the breakfast buffet. Not much choice (certainly no bacon and eggs if that's what you like), a weird-tasting 'juice' that tasted like vinegar, very poor service (people were constantly looking for someone to ask things), and what was on offer was awful - a complete waste of money. There's a café around the corner (1-min walk) and a bakery with seating a further 2 mins away. I cancelled our breakfast for the second day, as I travel a lot and have to say this was the worst breakfast buffet ever.
The room was very comfortable with separated bathroom and toilet. Nice breakfast, welcoming staff.
The decoration of the staircase reminds the art from 5 year olds.
The room was very clean. All the staff members speak English and Russian and were very nice and helpful. They responded all our requests immediately. They gave us additional blankets on our request, allowed us to use the fridge in the lobby. The hotel is very near to the tram station and you can easily get to the city center. There are supermarkets and quite cheap restaurants nearby that offer traditional food.
