Pros: The place is by far the best in Tofo! Excellent location, the rooms are beautiful and the attention to detail is superb! That’s really what sets them apart from Tofo, the service is excellent and the quality is very high. You get what you pay for! The breakfast is incredible -all homemade foods that taste fresh and rich!
Cons: Nothing at all! Only thing might be the staff that comes to sweep the floor in your room’s terrace when you are in the room. Sometimes you want a bit of privacy! But minor thing
Pros: The setup and staff. View from the balcony spectacular. Nice Garden. Overall feel of facility acceptable. John and Stefanie were great hosts.
Cons: Overpriced and breakfast at the rate charged poor. Kitchen and Fridge Dirty. Toilet has no door that could close.
Cons: Great location, great breakfast. Staff and owners super friendly and helpful. Great Design. Very well thought through. The only thing, I don't understand is bathrooms in the 2 rooms we had seen, only had a curtain or small saloon door. No clue, who came up with that low privacy idea.
Pros: The setting of Baia Sonambula is beautiful. We had a delux double room with a sea view and we spent a couple of hours each evening on our private decking overlooking the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the upstairs decking, again with a stunning view, and is delicious. There is a continental buffet and hot food is made to order. It is quite expensive, more than we anticipated spending, but it was worth it and we wished we could have stayed longer!
Pros: the managers are extremely accommodating and they have the friendliest staff! The guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous and clean, will definitely be back next time I am in Tofo :)
Pros: Perfect location, everything so comfortable. Great lounge. Best all-inclusive breakfast I have ever seen, definitely raised my standards now. Gianluca and Stefanie were very welcoming and gave us great advice.
Cons: It should have lasted forever. Feel depressed now that is over.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, good location close to beach (but bungalows do not have direct acces to the beach), nice bathroom & bed
Cons: Due to circonstances (construction works in the buiding nextdoors) there was no peace & quite on Saturday 25th of May when you were sitting on the deck of your bungalow! Limited number of activities on site and during the evenings in Tofo Beach in general, especially in low season.
Pros: The room was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. Cannot think of a single way to improve. Great value for money.
Pros: Bungalow 4 is an amazing room, highly recommend it.
Pros: One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at. This guesthouse goes above and beyond to give guests a dreamy experience, from the ridiculously beautiful rooms, hospitality and delicious breakfast! I felt like I'd truly escaped into a picture perfect sanctuary. This is an honest review and no other words can describe the beauty and comfort of this place. The pictures are beautiful but wait until you see how glorious this guesthouse is in reality. Book it now!! My partner and I will definitely be making this place our yearly self-care gift. Treat yourself to this, you will not regret it!
When you stay at Sentidos Beach Retreat - Design Hotels in Inhambane, you'll be on the beach and steps from Barra Beach. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Pros: The room was great, superb bedding and the few steps to the beach made it an awesome way to enjoy the beach and relaxing around the villa. The food was very good and the staff were extremely friendly.
Cons: For the price of the rooms I would expect more amenities. There was no razor, earbuds or slippers which at this price should be a minimum standard in the rooms. The house keeping staff need to be more attentive and replace the beach towels each day without having to be asked each day.
Pros: Ohhh. Sentidos. The real question is « how can we say goodbye to Sentidos? ». Mozambique is amazing. And Sentidos is its best flagship. Family owned and family run, it’s a proper boutique hotel. Everything is personal, human, made with love, unique. The staff is outstanding, caring, always going the extra mile. From reception who will always make you feel wonderful upon a simple smile to the reception that serves KILLER food. Everything is fished right in the ocean. The chefs are mozambicans trained locally and abroad. And then, the managers who you can only fall in love with. Oh and yeah, the design, villas, facilities, locations, nearby villages. Everything is outstanding. Based on a 12-night-stay that I could have extended to a lifetime
Cons: How can you not like something at Sentidos?!
Pros: Amazing paradise in Mozambique! The staff are super friendly and the whole place looks amazing!
Cons: The food needs improvement
Pros: Beautiful place with lovely views, great customer service, delicious food, variety of activities.
Pros: Restraunt staff was amazing and the food was as well
Cons: We had a batt in our room (saw droppings in bath tub. Dropping were there for 2 whole days room service did not clean) only after we complained at front desk did someone come in and check. Said they didn't have time to fumigate and offered to change our room. We asked for a drive to Tofo which the hotel provided, though they neglected to notify us it is extra charge(1800 metical). Had we known we would have looked for other ways of transport.
Pros: The location of the place, the service and the way in which the workers goes out to assist is amazing. i enjoyed local food - matapa. The fresh baked breads and juice, healthy staff. thank you.
Cons: Their shop does not have something to take away as part of the memory. i wanted mozambican shirt, even if they can have SENTIDOS CAPS.
Pros: The staff at the property is Execellent*****
Pros: The sympathy of the staff, the mini palmiers at breakfast, the lunch and dinner menu, the reasonable wifi all over.
Cons: The efficiency of the staff, can be ameliorated, although, in comparison with other places where I have been in Mozambique, they rate high.
Pros: What an amazing place!! The setting and accommodation is exceptional. It is whale season, so we got to watch them every time we looked out to sea, breaching, lobtailing, spyhopping.....such a treat. But what really made this place so special was the staff, they cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. Oh and the prawns are delicious. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!!!
Cons: We could not stay longer
Pros: Beautiful villa, beautiful location Joe, the activities organizer, was so sincere and friendly
Cons: Food was not catered for my diet even though I had confirmed with them months before that they could accommodate me. This was an absolute disaster and made me miserable for the whole trip Beach was full of plastic junk absolutely everywhere in front of the resort and this was during the off season
When you stay at Casa Do Mar in Tofo, you'll be steps from Tofo Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful view of the beach. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of storage. Close to town. Great place.
Pros: Location, wonderful staff, food
Pros: Fantastic location by the beach in Tofu. The rooms are modern, generous and very comfortable. The hosts Daphne and Jakki are just wonderful people who made us feel a part of their family. Nothing was too much trouble. Located next to Peri Peri divers, watersports like diving and ocean safaris are easy without long travel. The staff Yto, Gonzalez and Sergio are incredibly accommodating. For example, I don't like to eat much before going diving, so they would make me some toast before I left at 7am and then make me a full breakfast when I got back at 1pm! It was so thoughtful, considerate and heartwarming. There is always something snacky on the counter with free teas and coffees. The dining room is lovely, with tables overlooking the ocean. Our return flight from Inhambane got cancelled, so Daphne quickly organised a taxi to take us to Maputo and saved our return flight to London! I would not hesitate to go back to this beautiful guesthouse, run by a charming, wonderful, hospitable couple on this wonderful beach.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff; fast check-in with welcoming drink (nice!); good breakfast and very taste dinner; room, bathroom and terrace were are spacious and almost exactly the same you see in the pictures; wi-fi was excellent and it's coverage reaches even to the beach; view to the sea was just superb and most likely the one of the best one can have in Tofo!
Cons: - We were in Tofo for only 3 days and for the whole time swimming pool was under maintenance. This was a disappointment, since own swimming pool was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. Day before our departure we asked if the staff could talk to the owners if we could get a small compensation for this, like first night's dinner for free etc. (so we were not asking for anything unreasonable), but they were very unwilling to do this and we did not get any compensation for not being able to use the swimming pool fir the whole time. So, check before your trip that swimming pool can be used, if that's you're planning to do. - There was no fridge in the room, which is naturally very understandable from the hotel's point of view, but would have made our lives a bit easier with having cold water in the room all the time. - Claiming up the stairs or sandy "street" from the beach to the hotel might be heavy if you're very unfit or suffer from any kind of, let's say, knee problems.
Pros: This place is truly fantastic. Jakkie and his team were perfect hosts: warm, kind and we found it hard to leave. Our whole stay was wonderful, but a could of specifics: the picture perfect view from the restaurant (whales and dolphins!), excellent honesty bar and a top food menu with imported meat from RSA. Dankie Jakkie!
When you stay at Pariango Beach Motel in Tofo, you'll be on the beach and 13 minutes by foot from Tofo Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We loved the beach hut energy and how close it is to the beach. The staff were always ready to help and the boss Volker is a legend in my book. He really looks out for his guests. Tours and activities are available at a discount to guests, free tea and coffee, café and surf shop right next door. Excellent spot and we would have no second thoughts about returning.
Pros: the owners are very kind and will try their best to fulfill any wish you might have. directly at the beach, close to the market, restaurants, diving schools. will definitely stay here when I come back again.
Pros: The manager was accommodating and helpful. The venue is situated in the perfect location. Was happy that the venue provided charging ports where the wifi was active.
Cons: The bar / kitchen area could be more alive. Between the rand exchange rate to the dollar to the metical, we paid a little more then what we had anticipated. would prefer it if Bookings.com took the full amount before arrival so that accommodation expenses are finalised before arriving at the venue. Overall, happy stay :)
Cons: Poor service in the restaurant
Pros: Position, price quality ratio.
Cons: Kitchen wasn’t that clean.
Pros: One of the best value for money in tofo Great location, literally on the beach Good discounts for snorkelling and diving and surfing Good breakfast and lunch options Owners and staff are very nice Great backpacker vibes
Cons: Not much at all really It’s a backpackers place so go in expecting that and it’ll be fine!
Pros: It is right next to the beach, there is a great restaurant just next to it and it is 2 blocks from the central market. Has a beach style and a few discounts on other shops an activities.
Cons: It needs a few touches on the communal areas and maybe a more welcoming staff.
Pros: Location. Walking distance from the beach and the market.
Cons: Only two showers shared between male dorms.
Pros: Perfect location, close to the center and directly to the beach. Kindly owners. Enough comfortable. Discount in several tourist operators if you stay in Pariango
Cons: Rates little bit overpriced
Pros: Close to beach
Cons: Very very Dirty and smelly. No roof that separates dorms from the toilet and shower, you can hear people take a dump and you can also smell it. I will never ever in my life again, would not recommend it to any one unless you want to get sick
With a stay at Casa na Praia in Tofo, you'll be 0.1 mi (0.1 km) from Tofo Beach and 8.3 mi (13.3 km) from Barra Beach. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Pros: Really well located, nice staff, beautiful beaches! I would love to stay there again!
Pros: Staff was super friendly, good food and drinks, room was cleaned everyday, good breakfast, property is directly at the beach, top location, if we come back to tofo we definitely gonna stay there again
Pros: The location is very good. The staff is friendly. Beach facilities are included
Cons: The room is very cosy. They ask you to pay 5% commission if you pay by card. This price is very high for the quality of the accomodation
Pros: Amazing Hotel, Staff were fantastic and an unbelievable experience!
Pros: Many thanks to Lucia who was very attentive to everyone’s need. It was so good to see her with a big smile every morning, making sure that everyone was feeling good, and helping to organise any activity. The breakfast was very good as well as the cocktails and the food. Nothing is better than waking up right in front of the sea.
Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Casa na Praia. The place is right on the beach. I think the only place in Tofo that is so well siutated for the beach lover. All the staff are very friendly and accomodating. Food is good. Rooms are great. Lucia the manageress is particularly nice and will provide you all the inforamtion you need to enjoy your time there whatever your tastes. Jose the barman will greet you with a smile and enjoys undulging in a good bit of chit chat to while your time away. I'll be back...
Cons: There wasn't anything not to like.
Pros: Beatiful terrace in fornt of our room overlooking the beach and ocean view.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. Lucia went the extra mile for us. Resort is right on beach, beautiful view.
Cons: The resort needs a bit of tlc. Woodwork around doors of units need attention as does sewerage system which tends to get blocked. Upholstery of furniture in resort also old and a bit tacky. When lying on the beach in front of our unit we were constantly pestered by hawkers, very intrusive and irritating!Worst of all was the terrible noise from partying at the resort next door (Casa Barry) that went on until after midnight on every night we were there preventing us from sleeping. We complained to the manager who summoned the police but to no avail. We left after 3 sleepless nights forfeiting 3 days at the resort.
Pros: Right on the beach
Cons: Our room was too close to the bar and foot traffic
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great - very close to a great dive school and right on the beach where you can swim. Our room was very cute and clean. Luckily our aircon and bar fridge in our room both worked well. It is a short walk into the village and market where there are some great little restaurants and bars.
Cons: Tofo has a water problem so you are not supposed to flush toilet paper down the toilets, but instead put it in the dustbin which wasn't great. On 3 of our nights we were completely without water in our room and we never had warm water for our shower in the week were there. The breakfasts were not great, only the fruit was nice. Their bar fridge didn't seem to work so all the drinks were always warm. Also, because the restaurant is right on the beach you are constantly harassed by local sales people trying to sell you things while you are trying to relax or have a meal.
With a stay at Pura Vida Lodge in Morrumbene, you'll be on the beach and within the region of Barra Beach. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and laundry facilities. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a ferry terminal shuttle.
Pros: Pura Vida is on the beach, it is quiet and serene! The chalets are well equipped and absolutely lovely! Daniel is very friendly and so so helpful! We had a wonderful time and would definitely return! Such good value for money
Cons: There is nothing not to like
Pros: Magnificent beach and location. Nice food. Daniel was a great host.
Pros: The host was very friendly and accomodating. Amazing view.
Cons: Running water was sometimes a problem
Pros: loved the personal touch by our very attentive host ( Daniel) and his staff. Went the extra mile to assist us in any excursions. His enthusiasm about the lodge was infectious
Cons: The bed was a bit small, a queen size would have been more comfortable.
With a stay at Casa Barry Beach Lodge in Tofo, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Tofo Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Tofo? This lodge has facilities measuring 215 square feet (20 square meters), including a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Restaurant and beach
Cons: Interior design of casitas, too basic
Pros: Superb location at the end of the beach in Praia de Tofo. Secluded but easily accessible, though not immune to the very loud music that some "hotels" seem to think an excellent idea on a Friday night. Staff were really good and the service provided by everyone here was tops. Bar area terrific view over the beach and to watch the sun go down whilst enjoying a cold beer. Food was of a high quality and the catering staff were terrific. Rooms basic but good - shower and hot water better than most I have experienced in Africa. It's not a 5 star Le Meridien - but that's not what it is supposed to be - it'a a great fusion of local and western. Rooms basic but 100% for what I want on a trip like this. Excellent value for money and a great place to stay to enjoy Tofo.
Cons: This should be viewed as constructive feedback - as the overall standard of the stay was so good. As with everywhere in Africa - in need of a little maintenance. EG, toilet stayed in free flow throughout the time, even though it was "fixed" 2 or 3 times - I had to resort to using a wire coat hanger to lift the ball valve arm to stop the constant water flow disturbing my sleep on a couple of nights. I used to have a contracting company so I know exactly what the problem was - the syphon in the cistern needed replacement or, at the very least, completely removing and a thorough cleaning. Getting a guy in to "fiddle" with it and do an "African fix" to try to circumvent that fact will never work. Breakfast was good but; where somewhere is marketed as "Breakfast Included" I really don't expect this to refer to a very limited selection from the breakfast menu. As it was, with a gluten intolerance and strictly veggie partner who doesn't eat eggs, there was little on the "permitted" breakfast menu that was suitable. Ordering just a bowl of rice with some cooked veg, from the breakfast "extras" menu was the only answer, for which we would have been charged if we hadn't challenged this. The included breakfast included Nescafe instant "coffee", decent coffee was extra. Such limitations must be made clear at the marketing stage as , say, "includes a limited breakfast" because "includes breakfast" (having stayed at getting on towards a four figure number of hotels, guest houses, inns etc on 6 continents/sub-continents over nearly 40 years of extensive professional and leisure travelling) does not normally have such restrictions attached.
Pros: The staff are super friendly and helpful. I've had dinner at Casa Barry many times and have always loved the location and the view from the terrace. That's also the only good thing about this place.
Cons: This place is terribly overpriced for what you get and I would advice any sane person to stay away! For $89/night you get a dark and hot hut with "garden view" (ie. view of a sandy patch). You're much better off paying $30/night for any of the hostels in the village, where you get much better accommodation. The hotel also don't have any spare keys for the rooms so when I realised that I had forgotten my room key in the dive centre (that was closed) I had to wait an hour for someone to come and break in the door. Which hotel does not keep spare keys!!!??? Luckily they could move me to another hot, which was even hotter and where the water in the shower was scolding hot and I burnt myself badly. And of course, the hot water comes out of the blue tap and the cold water out of the red.... I have staid in most hotels and hostels in Tofo and have always been curious about Casa Barry. Well, now I know, and I'm definitely not trying it again.
Pros: We loved the proximity to the beach and to different restaurants of the area. Our room was not in front of the beach but it had everything we needed and the bed was really comfy. We also had breakfast included which was amazing and we could have it with exceptional views of the sea.
Cons: The only thing we missed was the wifi in the room and in the rest of the establishment, as it was meant to work in the common areas but during the time we were there it was not working properly.
Pros: Beautiful view, excellent position on the beach, very close to town and other restaurants, big patio with comfortable chairs and hammock,
Cons: Small mattress in a main bedroom. Kitchen stove in a poor shape
Pros: Great location right on the beach near the market and restaurants. We had the much needed help of Willemyna during our stay who cleaned and helped us during our stay which was a great, including bargaining at the market!
Cons: For tall people, the low beams in the property will drive you crazy! Doors and beams are 180cm high!
Pros: Only the beaxh
Cons: The hospitality
Pros: The Casa Barry Beach Lodge is as the name indicates right on the beach with an impressive view and sound of thew waves. The houses are simple, but if one would stay longer, and we only stayed one night, one can use the kitchen and each house has a 'braai' in the front garden. We ate in the restaurant, and when I made a remark about the filet mignon I had ordered that issue was gracefully resolved.
Cons: Because of the traditional construction and bedrooms without ceiling the privacy is less, which mat be an issue depending on the composition of the travel group. The wi-fi does not really work on the restaurant terrace. The cool in the restaurant could improve, just keep the size and quality of steaks as served in South Africa in mind,
Pros: Amazing view from the restaurant - I could see multiple whales jumping while having breakfast (I think the whale season is June - October).
Cons: The bungalows in the back (i.e. the ones that don't have sea view) are not very charming, and are built around something like a parking lot. I would stay again in this hotel if I had a sea view bungalow, not in the other ones.
Pros: the location and the facilities inside our hut were just amazing. staff is helpful and they come clean every day. perfect spot on tofo beach
Cons: the breakfast was poor and the general ambience at the bar very cheap. no options for vegeterians and the service slow. it just doesnt fit the place.
Located in Morrumbene, Castelo do Mar is by the sea and within the region of Barra Beach and Inhambane Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a library, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Located in Inhambane, Blue Moon Beach Holiday Resort is by the ocean, within a 15-minute drive of Paindane Beach and Coconut Bay Beach. For a surcharge, guests may use a shuttle from the airport to the hotel (available on request) and a train station pick-up service.
Cons: had toilet issues, been sorted by closing the one and opening up the 2nd bathroom/toilet. no glasses on arrival. mosquito's coming in at the one corner of roof. Cold water first night
Pros: It's an amazing resort with beautiful views and very quiet and peaceful. Don't expect state of the art facilities and accommodations, but the chalets have all you need and more and the beds are super comfortable. The manager might come across as not friendly but that is not the case. Edgars is an amazing host and neither English or Portuguese are his native languages and he will accommodate all your needs. He is also an amazing chef ;-) the breakfast and dinner (upon request and at an extra fee) are amazing. Shout out to Egas who is an AWESOME do it all second in command ;-) He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I definitely recommend this property and will go back as soon as possible. Ideally have a 4x4 to get to the property, but we didn't and Edgars (the owner) would pick us up and drop off when needed as we left our car at the gas station close by. (the trip from there to the property needs to be made with 4x4).
Pros: The owner should not be running a self catering service. We did not have a toaster, egg lifter or steak knives. The bedding and towels were old. The 2 plate stove that they expected us to use was very old and rusted, and even shocked you when you touch the pots handle. The braai is far away from the units and there arent even chairs to sit on while braaiing. When asked for a braai at our unit, we got a old rusted thing with tools that looked home made. There is one fridge in the kitchen that is supposed to be big enough for 4 rooms (8 people). And only ceiling fans in the rooms, then the power goes off between 3 and around 6 every morning. We asked the manager/ owner (Edgars) to please come to the unit to discuss the issues we had and he just refused. We were very dissappointed as we paid R33 000,00 for the accomodation!!
Pros: The owner, Edgars, was friendly, and helpful, as were the rest of the staff; large, clean room with a good sized shower; a short walk over the dunes to the beach (had it to myself as I came during low season); not far from two bars/restaurants located on the beach; meals were very good with good sized portions; no complaints about anything
Pros: Wonderful location Very kind and thoughtful service
Pros: The property has all the basics that you need. I real break away from the ‘other’ world! The manager was friendly and helpful. He took us to the local supermarket and to town when we needed to go. The other staff are also very helpful. The catch is you need to ask. Nothing is too much!
Offering a BBQ and views of the lagoon, Lagoon Sunset Tofo is located in Praia do Tofo, 200 metres from Peri-Peri Divers. Free private parking is available on site. Diversity SCUBA is 300 metres from Lagoon Sunset Tofo, while Tofo Beach Area is 300 metres away.
Pros: Very romantic place to stay next to the lagoon. It is quite central and only 5~10min from the beach, restaurants, market
Cons: No wifi (but it is good to completely disconnect from the reality)
Cons: A lot of mosquitos room quite small for 3 people
Pros: Great location, amazing views and very friendly staff. Was spacious and comfortable
Pros: Paradise! We loved the bungalow and tranquility it provided. Beach and restaurants only few minutes walk. Accommodation is removed from the busy little township which was perfect for us.
Cons: Didn't like leaving!
Pros: Views were stunning and the room was set up perfectly for self catering (although I didn't actually use this option) it's a short walk (5 mins) to all the local restaurants, bars and beach which is also well lit at night. The bus to Maputo was happy to pick us up from the apartment which was also handy. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: No Wi-Fi unless you walked to the sister hotel which was about a 15 min walk along the beach. We noticed a few animal droppings in our room (not in the bed) but we assumed they were gecko droppings and as they eat all the bugs it didn't put us off our stay.
Pros: 1 The property is very well located; 2 Calm and very safe; 3 It has minimum conditions for self catering but it can be improved with new cutlery.
Cons: 1 water from the tap was smelling chemicals; 2 the bathroom drain was constantly clogged; 3 The toilet flashing was damaged; 4 Poor hospitality from Mrs. Cecilia and her daughters, always claiming even when paid to wash and ironing. 5 I was expecting to see a Lagoon Sunset instead of Bush Sunset.
Pros: The hotel was so peaceful and quiet. It was perfect.
Pros: The room was really nice and the view on the lagoon beautiful on the sunset. The place is not on the beach as written but perhaps is its unique characteristic in Tofo. In 2min walking you reach the center of the village and the beach it self so position is very good.
Cons: I may just add the wi-fi here as well (is it available at casa na praia), other then this is very very recommended.
Pros: The room is absolutely gorgeous! It was fantastic coming back to that room every night for a whole week. It is fully equipped and very spacious. The restaurant at the beach offers delicious food for very fair prices and the atmosphere there is a treat. Very friendly staff. Laura, the owner is very helpful and cares about her guests. She has done a wonderful job in that place. Wifi at the restaurant was impeccable through the week.

Pros: Its quiet.
Cons: Rooms are right next to each other, like a hostel, space is extremely small, not enough ventilation in the room. Communnual kitchen
Pros: The indoor/outdoor common spaces are lovely! The room was comfortable, WiFi functional, and location is great. There are 3 dogs, a cat, and a parrot at the property. All really sweet animals.
When you stay at Farol da Barra in Inhambane, you'll be near the beach and 5 minutes by foot from Barra Beach. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location is absolute beachfront - amazing. Restaurant on site is great, with excellent staff.
Cons: Noone to greet us on arrival, no key or instructions left with other staff, when we booked near 2 months previous, travelling all day to get there. Restaurant staff had to call the Manager to return to check us in. Internet charged in addition to an expensive room rate.
Pros: Perfect quiet spot at the beach! Lovely house with a great view. Very friendly staff.
Cons: We got stuck with our car in the sand. No shops or surf shop near the beach. We went to tofo. The sellers at the beach.

Guests can enjoy a full English breakfast at the property every morning and the property has a shared lounge area. Complimentary WiFi is available in public areas. Restaurants, the Tofo beach area and diving centres are within walking distance.
Pros: Stuff who were surfing breakfast were good , Receptionist was good but he was not very pleasant
Cons: It was hot day there was no AC and they did not put any vans in the room we were sweating but they put one fan in the morning when we left the room already , Breakfast should be complimentary
Pros: Well positioned place, nice view, welcoming staff and great breakfast.
Cons: The rooms and bathroom are a bit small and basic.
Pros: Friendly and with a nice view
Pros: Very nice staff! Thanx a lot Maria and Maxwell!
Pros: The property is located very nicely on top of the dune. 5 minutest to the beach, town and the main activity provider (peri peri divers). Two minutes to the closest restaurant. The room is big and bright and it was clean all the time because the staff cleaned everyday. The staff, Maria and Maxwell, are amazingly friendly and very helpful. The owner, Rolf, is also very caring and even called from Germany to ask if everything is fine. The top floor is one huge room which includes a sunny tarrace with an amazing view on the ocean as well as the kitchen, which is very well equipped and a comfortable sitting area. DSTV is also available. It’s a very safe area and we never felt uncomfortable walking home in the dark.
