Cons: Its a shame there was no bacon at breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There aren't enough words to say just how impressed we were with No2 The Rocklands. We were a party of 6 friends, staying for a wedding. The most fantastic accommodation ever, the attention to detail is second to none. The luxury of a small sitting room included in one of the bookings, was shared by the 6 of us. The tea and coffee selection, fresh milk, bottled water, those yummy biscuits, toiletries, fluffy towels, the most comfortable beds, smooth fresh linen...shall I go on??? Or the fact that we went out for an evening and our dirty cups and glasses had been washed up by a magic fairy. Simon and Susan invite you into their home, with the privilege of having your breakfast in their own personal dining room. We were thoroughly spoilt with endless choices, and superior quality products. They are the most wonderful hosts, and we have all agreed we will have to return to spend more time in the area-Personally I could sit in the peacefulness and read some of Simon's bookcase items! If you are looking for somewhere in the Wirral area, don't waste your time searching, because you will never find anywhere better. We left very reluctantly, and even asked of we could negotiate a permanent stay! Thank you Simon, Susan and of course Fergus, we hope our laughter didn't disturb your sleep. See you all again very soon.
Cons: Having to leave!!!

Pros: Everything - could not fault this hotel and the staff were all friendly and helpful !
Cons: Couldn’t fault it .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Come every year for our Anniversary love the place.
Cons: There’s nothing i don't like.
6.8 Good
Pros: Lovely big rooms, bed Is comfortable
Cons: Location - can’t really walk anywhere easily. No bus routes go there yet, taxi all the time Everything is so dark. Dark hallways, dark reception Even in your bathroom you don’t have sufficient light to put make up on
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quality and the whole ambience was really nice.
Cons: They didn't top up the towels, shampoo and soap. Which was a bit disappointing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and room was spotlessly clean. Good choice of breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Location is a little remote but quite close to the city.
Cons: Paying for parking. This should be free as you are staying at the hotel.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Cool rennovated warehouse with appropriate light industrial finishings. Nice blend of retro with very modern upgrades. Less than two miles to Anfield ( we walked back from match - all downhill).
Cons: Service (front desk, bar, and concierge) did not match otherwise outstanding facility. Distance from downtown perhaps made ready cab or Uber service a little longer than normal. Staff appeared newly hired and perhaps less experiences in how things were supposed to work. Tried hard but had to seek directions from others. Given time on the job, expect service will improve. Would give another try.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel building is fantastic in a great location and a 15 minute walk to the Albert Docks. I had dinner in the hotel and the food was faultless as were the staff including the reception team.
Cons: I found long hairs in my shower, bed and on the bedding. Part of the furniture was damaged and marks on the wall that could been re painted or wiped clean. The bathroom basin plug didn’t work and because maintenance had gone home they couldn’t repair the plug. The welcome message on the television welcomed ‘Danielle Maclennan’ than my name.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A quirky place which made a nice change. Very spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great choice of food for breakfast and very tasty. A few miles away from the docks.
Cons: Bathroom only had a shower which was very high so hard to keep hair dry.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom was massive, and clean. Bed was comfy. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty, but could do with being seated quicker. The massage was great, but did pay for 55 minutes and only actually recieved 45 minutes after the talk and being called in late
Cons: The spa facilities were pricey. We paid £20 each both Saturday and Monday. I think once you’ve paid it once you should be able to use it a second time during your stay for free or even half price. The steam room was way to hot, it burnt my feet - no one went in for more than 10 seconds on the first visit, we mentioned it on the way out. The buttons around the pool were broke/not working, so the back drop waterfall wasn’t working, some of the jets around the pool weren’t working, one of the foot spas weren’t working, so no one really used the other one that was working because you don’t want to sit there on your own. I think with all the above in mind, £20 is a little steep after already paying £400+ for your stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed. Room quiet. Food very good, real ale excellent. All staff helpful and pleasant.
Cons: No complaints at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was luxurious with everything you could want. It had a double and a single bed, ideal for a couple with one child. Breakfast was cooked to order and the menu was good. Location great for a wedding at Thornton Manor. We had 5 rooms (9 adults) The staff were so friendly, check in was so fast and efficient, we requested to book in early as the wedding was at 2pm (check in is normally 2pm) and they let us check in at 12.15pm, this is so hard to do in hotels of a bigger chain. Would stay here again and would recommend it .
Cons: As the breakfast is cook to order the service could have been faster, maybe another pair of hands in the kitchen. We aren't complaining as the food was spot on and the waitress was friendly and efficient, just could have been a tad faster.

7.0 Good
Pros: it was clean and central - well equipped

Cons: The blinds in the room were broken so it was very bright.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views and the decoration

5.5 Okay
Pros: Beds comfy, very good central location
Cons: Room windows opened onto smoking area which made room smell had to keep them closed so very hot. Room lay out poor. Key fob for front door did not work
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect if you're looking to be very close and have easy access to the city centre and its surroundings. The room itself was very clean and modern with good kitchen facilities making it incredible value for money.
Cons: The only problems we encountered with the apartment was the noise in the corridors of the property, it was very noisy which did make for a slightly uncomfortable sleep however it is to be noted that we were on the first floor with a room right next to reception so it was bound to get noisy at times. We had an inward facing view, not of the street, which meant there was not air flowing in and out the apartment, the room does not have air conditioning so it was incredibly warm especially with it being warm weather outside. The hotel staff were nice enough to help with his problem by unlatching the window to open further and allow more air in.
8.8 Excellent

Cons: Room cleaning/ service can be improved .

Pros: The superior garden room was lovely, had a door opening to the grounds, great for a coffee in the morning, spa facilities were amazing, could not fault our stay at all. Will be back
Cons: We ask to up grade from the standard room due to the car park being outside, but the room was lovely
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel. Spa facilities were good. Evening meal was excellent. Staff were helpful friendly and knowledgeable. The stay was for my birthday celebration and they made it a special and memorable experience. Thank you
Cons: Service between course in the Lawns was a little slow it took over an hour to get our starter but the main course and selection of cheeses made it all worth the wait. We had the shared steak dish which was excellent and above expectations. we are real foodies so were really impressed. Really enjoyed all of the little extras in between courses. A lovely meal and stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: me and my partner came to thornton hall for 3 nights, on the first day before checking in we went to cheshire oaks shopping centre which is only 20 mins away, check in was really easy and the concierge was helpful with carrying our bags to the room! the room was overall really nice & had everything we needed. we went to the spa and it was nice weather so we sat outside in the hydro pools which are so relaxing. (PSA: don’t bring your towel from the room as you can get ones to borrow at the spa). the pool area was never over crowded and everyone was chilling out so it made it enjoyable. there is also a facility to order drinks to the outside hot tubs, so i could relax with a glass of wine. the next day we went to chester zoo which is also only about 20 mins away. and the final day we went to new brighton beach which is also only 20 mins, there is a lot of things to do when the weather is good in the surrounding areas (it’s literally just in between chester and liverpool). the room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels, which was great. we didn’t eat breakfast or dinner whilst staying, but we did have cocktails one night in the lawn restaurant bar which was lovely. - nearby is a restaurant called pesto that do italian tapas which was great.i would recommend it overall and would definitely return :)
Cons: not much to say here but when we got into the room we did notice the tea pot had leftover tea in it (not been cleaned out). and there were 2 sheets in the wardrobe with stains on them? not sure why. also: we did stay weds-saturday, however if you are staying over on the weekend then there will be a wedding going on which will probably cause disturbance and if you are looking for a relaxing trip it may not be ideal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thornton Hall never fails to impress me, having stayed 5 times in the last 12 months its a firm favourite. The hotel is lovely, very cozy and well kept. The staff are very welcoming and will cater to your needs upon request, making your stay extra special. 9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was superb
Cons: One lift for the whole hotel is not ideal. Had to wait several times when going out and coming in
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Apart from the water issue, it's a very good hotel, clean, comfortable and good value for money! The location is also superb! We enjoyed the free cheese and wine before heading out to dinner.
Cons: 2nd night of our stay we were woken very early with a loud dripping noise only to find that there was water coming in our room from the roof!! It was leaking through the light fixture and vent in the shower area and also there was a damp patch in the ceiling which eventually turned into a hole and ended up dripping in the bedroom, we checked out early due to this and when reported to staff, we were greeted with "yes we know it happens".
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, specially arriving in time for complimentary wine and cheese which was a lovely surprise!
Cons: Nothing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had everything we needed for our 3 day stay and was in a GREAT location for us to explore, see the soccer stadium and eat at great restaurants.
Cons: We liked the hotel for the rating it was and it was great but the room did have a scent of stale cigarettes, even though it was a non-smoking room. Nevertheless, the room was large, clean and the shower was hot - so it was all good!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The price (£80 for 2 nights) and the discounted parking. The free wine and cheese was a nice idea but I didn't try any myself.
Cons: I am not a complainer at all (if I was I wouldn't have gone for a budget hotel), but the bed in room 816 was so firm my shoulder was aching all of the next day, and I have a firm mattress at home as it supports my back well so it's not as though I'm used to a soft one. There was a terrible electrical buzzing noise in my room (even with the key card out and all devices turned off (I think it was coming from the shower but not sure), that even my trusty ear plus couldn't block out. I've never realised how much I value a window in a room - this didn't have one and I felt very claustrophobic but that isn't the hotel's fault as I knew this before I booked. To be honest, I should have asked to move rooms but I was shattered from travelling and working so didn't bother. If you want a cheap and cheerful stopover this is adequate, but I won't be returning unfortunately and I wouldn't recommend more than one night in a room without a window (cabin fever is a real thing!).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Property was lovely
Cons: The fact a cleaner stole my grandads money off the bedside cabinet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Complimentary drink & snacks. This was my 2nd stay & will definitely be booking again
Cons: There was nothing to dislike!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff clean comfortable rooms. This hotel is a hidden gem. Definitely recommend and would stay again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean --- right in the city center --- great staff --- very safe --- perfect for a single traveler or a short stay.
Cons: Beds are really, really hard. Obviously not a deal-breaker, but if you are someone who needs to see an imprint of your own body in the bed in the morning to get a good night's sleep, you probably won't be comfortable here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good value for money! Everything we needed for a stay in the city
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect. Staff were attentive and helpful. Loved the complimentary chees and drink a lovely touch.
Cons: The bed being positioned next to the wall
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location excellent.
Cons: More like a hostel than a hotel. Rooms very small but well laid out. Toilet and bathroom in glass cube in the corner. Bed very small and right up against window. Had to pay extra for a room with a window!!!

Pros: Very accommodating staff and very comfortable rooms. Really enjoyed the ambiance and comfortable beds. Everything was clean and in it's proper place. Hardwood floors in our room was a nice plus. Quite close to attractions, but isolated enough for a restful night. Highly recommend.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location to my office
Cons: I booked a double room, got up to the 5th floor (at 11pm) and had twin room......I hate single beds and always sleep badly in them, so went back down to reception to ask for what I booked. They checked one room....not clean so couldn't have that, offered a room that had been abused by a smoker and still smelt of smoke, no thanks! And then was told housekeeping had failed to zip the beds together and make up the room properly. Tough, hotel was full and I was struck with a single bed, a bad nights sleep and no apology. Rubbish service and no offer from desk staff to sort the room. I spoke to Sam in the morning after being awake from 02:15, she was mortified that the staff treated me that way and promised to make it up when I return (should I bother?).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is superb for exploring Liverpool and the staff are very helpful. Our room was clean and my daughter loved it. There was a problem with my booking but they arranged alternative accommodation at the Crowne Plaza only a few doors down for the first night at no cost to us.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable, very good location, walking distance to the centre
Cons: We had problems with the air con which left the room too hot & clammy with no windows to open but the staff were amazing and sorted it as soon as possible
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is nothing that disappoints at Indigo. The staff are on point. The restaurant has great food and a good wine list. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. This is a great little find in Liverpool. As it's my second time visiting since it opened, I will definitely be back!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Clean, efficient, outside space. A small footprint hotel with a large service to customer ethos.
Cons: Smallish room, not much of a view from the hotel bedroom and I do think a shower cap would be great.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff.Clean rooms. Good location.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We arrived before check in time but the hotel were happy to hold our bags so we could go out. Very comfortable bed for me (my hubby says I'm like the princess and the pea), and I slept through with no back pain. Air con worked well... it was very warm outside, so having a cool bedroom was lovely

Pros: The upgraded apartment we had was excellent, however we had to pay extra.
Cons: Building in the midst of renovations resulting from the Grenfell fire. Huge noise on second floor, apartments shouldn't have been being rented. Lifts and entry filled with building debris. Reception on the move so chaotic. Forced to pay more to move up to an excellent and quiet 2 bedroom apartment on 10th floor. Entry from street difficult to find and if required impossible to get to by taxi.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal for shopping and the Gay Quarter. The fan was a godsend but the apartment was still very hot despite the terrible wet weather
Cons: The bed wasnt very supportive and the pillows were lumpy. keys to the apartment were a little bulky / swipe cards would have been better for my tiny handbag.
