Pros: The house is very beautiful, The master is really nice, Breakfast is so delicious. Our rooms are comfortable and clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful home and grounds with pool. Literally steps from downtown Brockville. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. Breakfast was awesome! Loved the dining room set-up and having an opportunity to sit with other guests.
Cons: I did not know there were different sizes of rooms to choose from. Although ours was very nice with a tv and shower, we had no idea it was on the third floor. This is was clearly a renovated attic space. The set of stairs to reach our room were narrow, steep, curved around and without hand rails. The room was very cute and confortable but not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Pros: Gorgeous property. Beautiful and classic finishes. Generously sized room. Thoughtful hosts. Excellent breakfast.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B Downtown Brockville! The hosts, Maciej and Siobhan, were lovely. They were both very friendly and accommodating. They made us a wonderful gourmet breakfast both mornings with tons of food! The B&B was super close to the water and main street - only a short walk. We stayed in the King Room with Spa Bath and it was very spacious and had a beautiful private bathroom! If you stay in the summer they have an amazing backyard with a large pool and seating areas. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Brockville!

Pros: The house is beautiful. I loved the mix of old yet modern. Original artwork is on display throughout the house. My husband and I stayed in a king suite with large bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous, and everything is immaculately clean. Breakfast each morning was a real treat. I am gluten free, and I appreciated that this was not an issue at all. The pool is large, and the patio deck was a great place to chill after exploring historic Brockville. The owners are so hospitable! Great people! Wonderful find!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really sweet b&b lovely host & super comfy suite for our family of 4 & pooch. Fab breakfast!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Colonel’s Inn is simply stunning, being one of the prettiest and most imposing of the classic stone-built houses so common in Prescott. All but one of the inn’s bedrooms on the second floor of the main house are particularly charming, each having an old world appeal with lovely antiques on display. It is true that most of these good-sized and very attractive bedrooms share just one common bathroom at the end of a long hall, and this could be a consideration for older guests who know they will be getting up a time or two during the night. I admit to some dismay when, after walking past the open doors of these aforementioned spacious and handsomely furnished bedrooms, my husband and I were then shown into Sarah's Suite, called the Comfort Double Room With Balcony on the booking.com website. What happened?! It was as if we had left one house and entered an entirely different one. Sarah's Suite, accessed by a lockable door from the main hall, consists of a very short, bare hallway with three doors opening from it into the three areas that are considered part of the suite. One door leads to a small, private powder room; one, kept closed at this time of year, to an enclosed, unheated porch which is, no doubt, very nice in warm months (but this was January); and the third to a closet-like bedroom, the tiny size of which propelled my claustrophobic self into immediate anxiety mode. Four empty picture hooks on the west wall contributed to my initial dismay. As soon as I could I stopped at the thrift store in Brockville to find and purchase four little pictures to hide those empty hooks. That done, I felt a little better. Sarah’s queen sized bed, the head of which was against the room’s south wall during our visit, is squeezed into a space that leaves not quite a yard on one side, a little over a foot on the other (I measured), and just enough space at the foot to allow the door to be opened. On the plus side: I found...
Cons: ...this bed to be very comfortable, firm, like I like a bed to be. However, if this room is to be let to guests, I would suggest that it be available only to singles, not couples. A twin bed would reasonably fit in the space available, with enough room remaining to allow for a table or dresser or, at the very least, a folding suitcase rack. At present an irregular alcove allows for placement of a tiny chifferobe, on top of which, by necessity, is set the tv. There is no place in the bedroom to put purse or suitcases, so we set ours on the floor in the hallway. In order for me to sleep (I’m just claustrophobic enough to make such a tight space a potential nightmare) we had to leave the door into the hallway open at night. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend the Colonel's Inn in general, if not Sarah’s Suite in particular. The inn is so pretty, and in its Christmas finery, which was still on display during our stay, the parlor and dining room were absolutely lovely. The breakfast is tasty and the coffee unlimited. Mike is an attentive host (his wife was away for the winter holidays while we were there, so we did not meet her), and just by coincidence one of our co-guests was the Brampton Batman, which was fun. (You have not lived until, quite without advance warning, Batman steps into the dining room in full regalia and calmly says good morning.) I would be delighted to stay at the Colonel’s Inn again, but I think next time I’d book the room called the Colonel’s Suite (referred to as the Executive King Suite on booking.com). The colonel’s quarters’ en suite bathroom would make middle-of-the-night trips down the main hall unnecessary, and (I know because I sneaked a peak at the suite of course; in my defense, at the time the it was un-let and unoccupied!) I think it’s safe to say that, in the colonel's roomy bedroom, claustrophobia would definitely NOT be an issue!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff went to such an effort to make this a special stay. And it was. Great breakfast, charming property with beautifully preserved character and a great swimming pool to enjoy on a lazy afternoon.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellant.
Cons: The bed side lighting was insufficient for comfortable reading, The TV was not connected to the service, so no TV. The grounds need major work, they are presently a work in progress. 9.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the welcoming staff and the attention given by manager included tips to visit and about the city. I would like to emphasize the very tasty breakfast. Great option!!!
Cons: Nothing significant to report.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Romantic rooms that made you feel special; having our own private closed in balcony; the clean, warm swimming pool and the welcoming host that made us feel like we were at home and not intruding.
Cons: I have been places with shared bathrooms and it is usually just 2 or 3 rooms for that facility but it seemed ours was shared with 4 rooms. Unfortunately one couple treated it like it was their own private one and monopolized it for over half an hour in the morning when we were trying to get ready to go for breakfast. Perhaps a note to suggest limiting time, particularly first thing in the morning when there is a lot of demand would be helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts were great. Linens and towels were very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old home. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the “Colonels room”. Gerhardt, the host, was very friendly and informative and made us a wonderful breakfast. Prescott is a quaint small town on the St. Lawrence river with some very scenic views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Josie welcomed us with a big smile, tailored breakfast around me being pregnant to make sure it was healthy, and she just had a way of making you feel like you were part of her family.
Cons: The shared bathroom, but it wasnt a huge deal
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host was friendly, and helpful but not intrusive. The room was beautiful and we had the use of most of the house which gave us lots of comfortable space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely stunning from the moment one pulls into the driveway and sees the stately house facing the river. The house is set upon a small rise with enhances the elegance and the front gardens are exquisite. I could see why they are hired for many weddings, on appearance alone--- BUT after staying I understand why they are hired by repeat clients. The rooms are appointed beautifully, elegant, yet relaxing. The features of this house (gorgeous lighting, woodwork) have been retained while renovations ensure that necessaries (bathrooms/kitchen) are up to 2018 expectations. But the best part of a B & B are often the hosts...and Josie and Seth are very gracious, informative, and relaxing. They truly live up to the visual expectations of this lovely house. It was a fortuitous impulse that led me to stop in the area and it is a beautiful, fascinating are of historical significance. I will return. (oh, yes, breakfast was yummy and the dining room was a taste of elegance/recharge on a long road trip.)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: it is a beautiful old historic home with lots of space and lots of character. Beautiful surroundings with view to the St-Laurence. Maitland is a sleepy (but restful) community by the water.
Cons: We had to travel to Brockville to find a restaurant ...but that is a small issue.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: waiting on statement to finalize so I can complete expense report.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Easy location to get to. Large spacious yard. Out in the quiet outskirts of the city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent home. We will be returning next time we are in the area. Hostess was amazing and informative.

Cons: The air conditioner was rather noisy.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The man Rob was very friendly. Let me pay up in the morning rather than on the spot because he was behind in cleaning the rooms. Rob brought out the debit machine to me when I paid. He gave me a few dollars off because I brought the dogs cage for my dog. Rob told us about the area, eg. Where the convenience store was, and the nearest restaurant with great food although we didn't eat there.
Cons: Floor had the previous people's kids clothes and shoes under the bed so room wasn't quite ready when we arrived. No garbage in our room except in the bathroom. Beds were hard and no soap or Shampoo in the bathroom.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Customer service provided by the owner was excellent. Don't let the outside appearance of the motel scare you off the inside is very nice. Room was updated and modern. Pros: The pool and exercise room were nice
Cons: The bathroom had been renovated but the tub was worn and some renovation to the bathroom was done half ass. It didn't look like the other renovated Comfort Inns' that I have stayed at recently. All in all, it was a nice stay and would recommend this site.

7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms/bathrooms, clean, good bed, good wifi, pool, price is fair

7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel looks fresh and clean inside. Good personal. Not far from highway.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reliable comfort
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Heated swimming pool!! Also a decent gym. The staff was great. Close to shops.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything about this hotel chain. The beds are super comfortable It's always clean Breakfast is hot and plentiful The staff are always friendly and kind.
Cons: The pool has absolutely no adult time. I am a mom myself, but there should be adult time between 8:30 and 10 PM so adults can actually swim. I tried for 7 hours to take a swim but the pool was full of screaming children and their water toys. Children jumping and not looking, adult reading a book rather than supervising. I tried at 8:30 PM, full of children, 9 PM still full. Some guests have no respect, and this is why I am suggesting an adult time. I never did get to swim and it was a big reason why I chose this hotel. I understand it's a kid friendly hotel but do kids under 7 really need to be in the pool at 9 PM? Guests can forget about "swimming" in the pool because it was mayhem the one time I did go in, kids jumping all over, slamming you with their water toys, and no room to do anything but leave.

It was quite expensive to pay parking for the 2nd vehicle that included overnight parking! A better arrangement should be available for 2 nd car to park!

4.5 Okay
Pros: no breakfast offered. they told us of a marina down the road
Cons: old tired premises. sink drain disconnected. some work is being done. would be an ok overnight place for $60-70.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very friendly and very accommodating; they made me feel welcome. The grounds were beautiful and the area is peaceful.
Cons: The motel is older and maybe one day it could benefit with updates.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. Room was very clean.
Cons: The a/c was loud and couldn't keep up ..but we were there during a heat wave didn't help..
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just a nice place with great owners
Cons: Oh for a high old folks toilet but then most places need these
5.0 Okay

10.0 Excellent

Cons: Clean, quiet, well looked after!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very freindly and devoted hosts!
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Beds very uncomfortable, no extra pillows in room, took forever for hot water, shower heads need cleaning, bugs on floor and no iron in rooms. Toilet was maybe a couple inches from tub edge very tight washroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a cute place to stay with great scenery
Cons: It was perfect. No complaints.
6.3 Good
Pros: Spacious grounds to the water with a great view of the river. Picnic tables, gazebo, and BBQs available. Bed was comfortable and clean.
Cons: The bathroom needs an overhaul and the room needs to be updated. The grounds were in a state of disrepair - pool not functional, although to be fair, the ad did not mention a pool. Ditto for the mini-putt being torn up. The dock couldn't be used to access the river for swimming and there was a pile of demolished cabin and furniture yet to be hauled away.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host and hostess were very friendly, informative and A pleasure to meet and spend time in their home, very welcoming hosts, Sunita even went to the store and picked up the tea that I like to drink. The beauty of the home, the rich history and design of the building was not to be out-done by the personal touches and warmth of our host/hostess; the perfect gift of a bottle of wine to start our anniversary or the green tea facial mask in the bathroom and of course I have to make mention of the awesome omelets and homemade waffles with maple syrup, yum, yum! Warm and inviting with a beautiful outdoor patio, lots of on site parking and a secure building. We both loved our stay and would strongly recommend this Green Door B&B as A place to stay.
Cons: Missed the daily news because no cable TV but Netflicks was A great substitute.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It was clean and staff were fine .... but ... Overpriced and crowded with young sports teams. Parents were letting kids run wild. It would be fine for $C100 a night but at more than double that when taxes (federal, provincial AND municipal) are added it was over $C400 for two nights. Not a huge sum for a hotel room but way too much for this place. A lack of competition and a short season are the likely reason for the pricing.
Cons: See above
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Pool was very cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel was awesome!
Cons: Nothing I would stay again in a heartbeat!
5.5 Okay
Cons: Pretty basic Problem with air Only one tv in a suite
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and new..very nice.
Cons: Some traffic noise maybe a room on other side of the building would have less. Hot tub was under repair.
7.5 Good
Pros: The customer service was great and I loved the bathroom layout.
Cons: The breakfast did not cater for Vegans.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very good Buffet breakfast included. Spacious room and bed. Good black out curtains. Very efficient air con.
Cons: It’s right beside the 401 so not a pretty or quiet location but it was what I was expecting. It would be nice if the window opened.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We requested a handicapped room with 2 queens but when we got there they said only King’s were handicapped! Said it was booking. Com’s fault because you don’t know their rooms. They were completely booked. It was distressing for us.
Cons: No where did it say only king were handicapped! There were 3 of us so we couldn’t do king but they didn’t have any & didn’t notify us. My hycannot climb over the tub!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel with large room and friendly staff
Cons: The breakfast was way, way below Holiday Inn Express standards. You don't expect to be eating off paper plates and using cheap plastic cutlery when you are staying at a Holiday Inn. This spoilt the whole experience I'm afraid.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Very noisy because of location right on 401. Pool hand rail was not secure at main steps Pool was very cold. Back (West side) parking lot street light not working. Smoking area (West parking lot) had no street light also
7.5 Good
Pros: Cleanliness and staff
Cons: Noisy on hwy
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellent although we couldn't fit in the first morning the room doesn't accommodate enough people
Cons: The TV in our room was broken and although the guy came up he couldn't get it to work the first night he promised it would be fixed the 2nd night it wasn't. Not fun with 4 girls wanting to watch a movie. The beds were not very comfortable either .

8.0 Excellent
Pros: If you do stay you have to expect that you will be staying in a dorm room. Having said that the rooms are clean, and the check in desk staff member was very friendly. Overall great value for ~$70/night especially when compared to the other places competing at that price point
Cons: It was somewhat challenging to find when I first arrived, it would have helped if there was some signage out front to direct me to the hall where the inn was located.
5.7 Okay
Pros: the place and the staff.
Cons: the beds (but they responded in an excellent way to our complain).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place to stay with faimly. Rooms are big, clean and whole place quite pleasing.
Cons: Some facilities are missing like iron etc
7.3 Good
Pros: The address could not be registered on our GPS. We got there by entering another civic number for that street. Once there, we had to ask people where was the reception, as it was not well indicated. Finally, every time we turn around in bed, the mattresses were very noisy!
Cons: It was quiet since it is not located in the centre of the City. Although there was no luxury, the room was clean.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, good enough breakfast, comfy beds, fridge and microwave, pet friendly, nice area.

5.3 Okay
Pros: Lovely neighbourhood. Appreciate continental breakfast.
Cons: Coffee & juice were nasty.
7.6 Good
Pros: We were really surprised that the room was as large as it was . It was actully more like two rooms as it was a family suite. The amenities were great. The bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi tub would have been coming home with me could I have fit it in my suitcase :-). It's not that it was a super high class place, it's just that it was more than we expected. I would definitely recommend staying there. The ladies at the desk were really nice too.
Cons: As the hotel was way more than we expected, we can't say anything negative at this time at all.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: The shower and sink wasn’t clean, the walls were all Scuffed up and they charged an extra $20 for having a pet which wasn’t the same price from their email
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Inexistant Wifi, strong odour of old bedding, everything is old.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Bathroom, shower stall in particular was filthy, and the fan was loud enough to wake the dead! The AC was too noisy to run if trying to sleep. Quality of food and beverage was poor for breakfast.
7.0 Good
Pros: It's not fancy but met all our needs. The ice machine in the hallway is a big plus to fill up my water bottle with on a hot summer day. The pillows are very fluffy and comfortable. There is a microwave and a fridge in the room and breakfast is included.
Cons: Nothing.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Staff were very nice.
Cons: For money it wasnt good value. Breakfast was skipped because they ran out of food at 930am and couldnt get the pancake maker working. The room was ok but the bed was very uncomfortable.
6.5 Good
Pros: It was clean and next to some restaurants grocery and highway
Cons: No lights beside bed you have to stumble in dark to get to light. Air conditioners (neighbouring room) way too loud, bathrooms need an update, the coffee maker in the room is a waste of time and just skip the breakfast completely. Even the coffee was terrible.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean room. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to food and shopping outlets. Galaxy cinema close by. Automatic Pancake Maker.
Cons: Free breakfast needed to be restocked more often. Between 6AM to 10AM If possible.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable. And it was right off the highway.
Cons: Though the bed was comfortable, there were little tiny ants crawling around. We found them in the bed, on the bedside table and all over the floor. In our shoes. Crawling on my electronics. Unfortunate for us, we found them in the morning after we had already slept in said bed. Front desk person asked if we had “sweets” in the room. Nice way to throw blame (which we didn’t by the way). Didn’t offer any discount or anything. Won’t go back and we go every year for a large picnic.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was decent (continental) and the pool was clean.
Cons: The room was dark. The air conditioner was so noisy we had to turn it off, so then we roasted while listening to everyone else's noisy AC. It would work ok for a bit, and then start making a loud knocking/rattling sound.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: The floors were very dirty, like it hasn’t been swept and mopped in months. My feet were literally covered in dust just a few minutes of walking. The bed sheets didn’t fit the bed, and it was awful on my back, dipping in the middle of the bed.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was convenient. Pricing was fair for the market
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast didnt have enough choice
7.0 Good
Pros: very dirty outside and in hallways, unorganized furniture at rooms
Cons: Not very cleaned outside rooms
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We were in what seemed to be a newer area of hotel and loved that the room had wood/laminate flooring and not carpet. Room was very updated and clean. Breakfast was not amazing but was adequate and attendant in breakfast area was very friendly.
Cons: There is no elevator so you have to plan to walk up stairs with your suitcases.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to the highway
Cons: The whole property
6.3 Good
Pros: Liked that it was included. It was a step up from Continental, because of the hot eggs and sausages.
Cons: More variety in the hot items, like ham and bacon. Croissants and large muffins would have been nice too.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were great.
Cons: It's a pretty old hotel. They have tried to upgrade, but it needs some more work. For a non smoking place you can still smell smoke from years ago.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Eggs were gross
Cons: Very noisy place. Floor boards creaked all night no Sleep. Trailer like
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Got refunded.
Cons: We got a non renovated room with a big stench, asked to move to a more recent one and that was fine. Until we go in the shower and realise the towels had been used, one was yellow, one had red on it, 3/4 of them were humid/wet. The toilet wasn't flushed when we got in, and my bed had yellow spots on the sheets.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff. Pool.
Cons: . Needs refurbishing. Rooms not up to par.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Queen suite with jacuzzi tub is worth it! Really nice to stay in and the location is central. We got 15% off the sushi place attached to the hotel as well which was great too!
Cons: Staff were not the most friendly.
