The only good thing about this hotel was that it was clean in the rooms and the bathrooms The Hotel itself. We thought it was a 4 star hotel, and it was like a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was really bad. The hotel looked like a hospital, and we felt like we were in a hospital. The swimmingpool, that was the reason why we chose the hotel, was a really bad one as well. We will never ever go there again.
Good Breakfast, Clean Room Rather inpersonal service at front desk
Perfect place to stay for visit Oristano, easy to walk to centre. Nice convenient pool. Room is bit sober, but convenient, and we slept fantastic.
tranquility, relationship with hotel staff
It was very nice to have a swimming pool after a hot day's travelling. Room was quiet and comfortable Underground parking at the hotel was a little bit chaotic, but there was ample free on-street parking in the adjoining streets.
Location When I left my luggageto the reception, receptionist put it where anyone could easily take it, therefore I asked her to keep it somewhere safe and she said ' yeah yeah, off course'. but the luggage was still at the same point when I came back. Also breakfast wasn't ready when it should be. There was no one in the room and I had to ask the recepionist and was told wait for 5mins.
Excellent location; just 5-10 min walk from city center and turist attractions. Free parking garage. Very good breakfast. None.
The swimming pool was nice, the room was big, the hotel was very close to the center of Oristano, fluent English speaker staff very kind and helpful, very functional underground free parking, WI-FI functional even by the pool. Rather poor breakfast, pretty business-like hotel, not a 4 star furniture in the room and too minimalistic.
The staff and food were first class and the menu was a reasonable price. The room was a little austere for a week's stay
near to the city center, near to many other cities the staff at the reception
Views from the room and swimming pool were fantastic. Room was spacious, bright and tastefully decorated and furnished. Service in the restaurant was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced minibar and bar. None.
The staff were extremely helpful The lack of Tea / coffee facilities in room
Both the room and the pool had excellent views of sea/beach.
Good pool, beautiful setting Poor food choice on daily menu - two choice only, but food good. Poor selection of drink at bar - no wine available, nor in minibar
beatiful location staff exceptional half board evening meal well presented but felt like low budget menu There is a problem with bird droppings in the pool, surround and furniture due to their nesting around the hotel all year round
Nice hotel with splendid surroundings, well maintained, big parking lot. Average breakfast.
Location easy to find, close to City Center Restaurant is rather "hidden" at the back, by that it's not inviting guest from outside.
The room we were given was clean and spacious. The hotel looked pretty The room overlooked a small square and the traffic made it impossible to sleep well. The air conditioning didn't work very well and the breakfast was really poor. No fresh cakes/cornetti, no fresh fruit and you would have to be desperate to eat the 'ham', which was cheap rubbish. For the price we paid, we didn't get value for money
The very helpful and friendly staff, the ambience of the hotel, the central location. Breakfast could be improved. Too many sweet things. Fresh bread would be nice.
Our room smelled like if someone had been smoking right before we got in (we had requested a non-smoking room).
comfort of rooms hotel staff, more suitable for business than for holiday
Nice italian style rooms, good location for a walk to the centre of Oristano. Breakfast good for italian hotels. Parking in the small hotel garage was free but is very limited.
A perfect situation for ease of access to transport and the city restaurants. A fine quality room and good value for such standards. The hotel itself had a good quality restaurant with attractive menu at good prices. Breakfast was more modest than anticipated but adequate in local style.
It was in the middle of town, and there is where the good points end. The hotelroom was not very clean, the toilet seat was broken, the shower leaked, the beds were uncomfortable...etc. and that for a 4 star hotel. I was very disappointed.
The hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast. It is only a short walk to the centre of the town and the bus station. The train station is also quite near. The restaurant beside the hotel was very nice.
Hotel has a large excellent swimming pool and the rooms and public areas are very tastefully decorated Bumpy access road and rough car park
Staff, large rooms, very good food, close to the beach, only 11 rooms - no crowds, free internet, large and clean pool, free parking wi-fi is a bit slow
Very nice hotel, very good breakfast, nice and clean rooms, great bathroom. Recommend.
The central location and the nice rooms.
Breakfast is good the reception staff could be more attentive and nice...they seemed very stressed and serious :S
Hotel is very convenient for exploring the town centre and is close to routes in all directions - car park is a definite bonus
The 4 course evening meal wuold take a lot of beating, Excellent flavours and choice and great value at 16 euros. The breakfast was adequate but very limited and considering the evening meal it was minimal and uninviting.
helpful staff.ideal for travelers
Within walking distance of historic center Difficult to find; not nice area; very basic hotel
Very friendly English-speaking staff. Good location close to town and with private parking.
Great central location with parking, above average sized rooms.
beds were ok to sleep on i left my expensive sun glasses in the room after check out, rang the hotel from our next location around 5pm to inform them of this... even knew exactly in the room where i had left them. I was told they wouldnt be able to check until the following day due to lack of staff and to ring back next morning. Rang back, was told they didnt find them... not impressed at all as 100% sure they were there.
near to the centre a bit run down
Cabras is in a good location for touring western Sardinia, not far from main routes but a quiet town. We were surprised that they do not make more of the lagoon on which the town is situated. The Hotel does not look that inviting from the outside but once inside it is very pleasant. The courtyard and terraces are lovely places to sit in the sun. Room was a good size, bed comfortable, enough storage, only negative was that it was poorly lit. Breakfast OK, and staff very helpful. I had read a review that they did not speak English, but that was not the case when we were there. We were not very impressed by the restaurant I Caminetto that is linked to the hotel, which though not bad, we found to be a touch pretentious, and much prefered L'Oliveto.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Very clean rooms and relaxing surroundings. Good location in Cabras, a short drive to many lovely beaches.
A quiet and restful hotel with excellent food and very helpful/friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean and lacked nothing. Better directions to get there would have been useful, especially when travelling in the dark - the village in the address is a long way from the hotel. The hotel would benefit from a larger lounge area.
Friendly staff, clean hotel. Good service. Buffet breakfast very unimaginative, compared with other European hotels. Food generally poor - particularly the main course at dinner. Cuts of meat used were obviously of inferior quality; many guests sent their food back for the chef to have another attempt, which was seldom improved! Buffet 1st course frequently ran out, and you needed to be prompt to guarantee a helping, despite the fact that the meal was advertised from 7.30pm - 9pm. Disappointing, as one of the features of any hotel booking should be the quality of the food.
The restaurant is 5 star - It's very seldom that you find this standard of gourmet food in a hotel. The lodge is very charmy and lovely - built in hazienta stile - and if you need rest and piece then you will find it here in Is Benas. The staff is very helpful and friendly.Remember your racket, the lodge has a prof. tenniscourt. We missed some kind of light alternative menu to the 5 cources dinner - it could just be 3 or 4 differnt small cources - i.e. a pasta cource or a beef etc. - It's not always that you can eat a lot in the afternoon. More different egg cources for breakfest. They also need to have an PC with Internet (Wii FII) so guest can hold there life on track :-) or book - rebook the flights. The price for drinks from the roombar is to high - (Same price as in the hotel bar) the hotel would probably sell much more if the price is lower - otherwise people will only use the roombar for there own bought drinks and water. We also missed a coffe- tee maker in the room. Some silent music in the afternoon on the poolarea and the sitting area at the frontdoor.
Very comfortable interesting house with attractive courtyard garden. Very friendly helpful staff. Lack of outlook from room
Very attentive staff, gorgeous room. Very relaxed and special. It is tricky to find (map or gps necessary) and the beaches are a 15 min. drive away but it's worth it because it's a little oasis worth finding.
this was one of the best countryside hotel that we ever stayed. The staff was very helpful and certainly we would highly recommend it.
wonderful atmosphere, very nice and old facilities, lovely service NO
Excellent hotel, very comfortable, wonderful friendly staff
Lovely small hotel with helpful and friendly staff. If anything then only the slight lack in english skills with some of the staff.
staff are wonderful, rooms are spatious and stylish with antique furniture nothing
The ambience is perfect. The bedroom was terrific. The staff are very friendly. Disappointed it did not have facilities for evening meal, because the setting would have been perfect.
Very unusual hotel, so usual criteria of huge modern bathrooms etc etc. do not apply. The welcome from the staff, the pride in the conversion of the old house and the help they gave in planning your holiday was exceptional. The charm of the old building is evident. The best hotel we've stayed in in our 4 visits to Sardinia -we'll come back again and again I hop It takes a bit of searching to find it -bigger signs off the main roads if possible. You need a guide book to really make the most of the local area, although the hotel staff take time to help you also.
One of the most enjoyable hotels I've ever stayed in. The service was phenomenal and the room was great! NO.
The residence is set in lovely gardens with lots of parking space at the back. Lots of space for kids to run around. There's a great little pizzeria (the only place in town where we could find to eat) where you can sit outside. Very quiet. The accommodation is clean, adequate, although the decor looks a bit tired. The hotel is a bit difficult to find.
The staff was very helpful in solving all the small problems
A very pleasant, sprawling hotel with some lovely details. I loved the rock walls, the flowers, the green space the rambling building passageways. The hotel had two restaurants - a fancier one, and a pizzeria. The fancy hotel had great service, great atmosphere and the food was good - but not as exotic tasting as the descriptions in the menu. It was good food but not out of the ordinary. One thing that surprised us (and this is more about the pizza than the actual hotel) was one of the pizzas. Mine was excellent but my 9 year old ordered a potato pizza, fully expecting thinly sliced potatoes and rosemary but she got french fries on her pizza (and the fries were undercooked and oily) yuk. So that was a real surprise and disappointment. Just outside the door they were growing wonderfully fragrant rosemary but it didn't make its way onto the pizza
Good location for touring and beach activities.
