Pros (+) Staff wasn't overly friendly but was helpful when asked. We had to get our room switched because the carpet was soaked when we got there, which was kind of weird. But the room was cozy enough and the hotel was in the right price range and location for us. It was decent and clean enough, but I wouldn't go in to it expecting luxury.
Cons (-) I was hoping to be able to walk to the shops nearby. They're close enough, but there's no path or shortcut so you have to drive or walk right on 17. There's also no elevator, so we were staying in a second room floor at one point and had to lug up a lot of luggage up the stairs.
Pros (+) The proximity to our event and food, gas, etc was fantastic. The staff were amazing, as was breakfast. It was fantastic to have four pillows on a double bed! Not every hotel does that. Clean and comfy linens. Mattresses were on the north side of firm, but I'm a side sleeper and prefer a softer bed, so that's just me.
Cons (-) The floors are not level, both first and second floors. The bathroom sloped down so you felt like you were falling when using the facilities.

You can hear everything in the next room. The A/C conked out for a bit and there are no screens in the windows so opening them was not an option.
