All the individuals who work there we're fantastic! From the valet to front desk to the steakhouse restaurant! I was able to get a really good deal on one of the hotel.com websites, otherwise I would not have been able to stay at the Ritz! My friends and I were treated like royality...a huge shout out especially to Steven!!!! He is at the steakhouse restaurant and was PERFECT!!!! Thank you. Everything was perfect!
The staff was outstandingly gracious. The spa was wonderfull,n and the staff excellent. Ww would rate the food as mediocre. In particular, our $500 bill for 4 at The Edge Steakhouse was out of line for the quality of the dinner. The service matched. Upon returning to our room at 3 PM it has not been made up. Disappointing.
Love the resort itself and the staff Didn't like the bed, too aoft
The hotel has an excellent staff. Cindy, our cabana attendant was awesome. She would check on us regularly, brought us multiple buckets of ice (without us asking), and was very sweet to the kids. I think every staff interaction I had was wonderful. The hotel is really geared towards families and they have a ton of activities for kids in addition to Splashtopia. The restaurant on site, Blu Ember, is wonderful. They had deals going on during our stay where the kids would eat free and there were a lot of options for the kids both at breakfast and dinner. The walls are thin and we could hear everything that was being said next to us. The families next to us were not being particularly loud, it's just that the walls are paper thin. Our bathroom had ants, which is not that big of a deal, but made me feel like maybe things weren't that clean. There are no elevators to reach the second floor. This is not a problem. We prefer to take the stairs. However, the building we stayed in (#24) had uneven stairs. So the first step was huge and then all the rest of the stairs would be the same size and then the last stair would be larger again. Both my sons fell the first time because they were not expecting such a large step. If you have little ones I would recommend getting a first floor room, however, with the walls being so thin = noise issue, I don't know if you want someone above you.
My favorite resort and retreat.
The customer service was top notch!
Bathrooms are finished with cheap fixtures, AC very loud, walls are thin and e could hear kids next door crying till 12:30.
Very clean Bathroom doors-- check in time till 4:00
Fun pool! Great family hotel.
Loved our room and bedding. The view was of the golf course. Room was quiet and very pleasant. The water park was unbelievably packed ... just too many people in the area but all in all it was well managed ...
Splashtopia There were several entrances to access the pool area although you could not get towels at most of the entrances and had to walk a good distance to get towels. That was not convenient.
Room was very quiet and comfortable. Room service was great and fast. Very large room with wonderfull bathroom. Since I got a good deal on my room they stuck me in one with a wall as my view. I asked to change and they said no. I don't think they were that busy. Not very friendly when I was asking. I was very disappointed and it seemed like they were upset that I got a good deal on the room.
The room was large with a nice view on the 12th floor. The bathroom had a large bathtub My wife enjoyed. The food was excellent But a little high price. The food was expensive.
great hotel, very satisfied, great prices on food and drink , little bit less expensive than most 4 star hotels
This place was amazing! We just wanted to get away for a night for my boyfriends birthday. We layed by the pool and had drinks, had dinner, gambled, and had a great time. We can't wait to go back!! By the way, our room was AMAZING! We got a balcony room which was great, plus the king bed was a Cal King. Luxury!
Location and facilities were a value for price paid.
Great welcome, complimentary upgrade, spacious, comfortable and quiet suite.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin Mission Hills Resort. Staff was friendly and attentive from check-in to check-out. Accomodating and helpful for whatever I inquired. Had a lovely golf course view which was spacious and comfy, and most importantly quiet! Plently of fun for my 8 yr old, but quiet enough at bedtime where we felt like we were the only ones there. Utilized the pools and restaurants the entire time, receiving friendly service from all. Breakfast buffet was delicious and great service each day.
This place has potential but needs massive work. Dirty, a moth hanging out in between the drapes, flies galore, dirty rooms, non functional outlets & lamps. We had a total of 4 rooms. Yucky & icky. Turn down service means close the shades and empty out waste baskets. What happened to prep the bed, leave two little chocolates, slippers and then closing the drapes. Westin has let me down on this trip. untrained staff in customer service & cleanliness of facilities.
Room smelled really bad, carpets are old looking and drapes are old and were dirty looking
Book a couple massage which was great, spa location noisy, jackhammering outside my room for two straight days, went there to escape LA noise pollution but it was worse I will give it another try, maybe
The grounds and facilities are top notch and the staff is impeccable. We were taken care of and treated well at every venue and by every employee there. The views of the mountains and Pete Dye golf course are breathtaking and about as scenic as it comes. A couple shout outs for Ron and Pedro (Bellmen), Stephanie (restaurant wait staff), Karen (front desk), Crystal (sighting rooms for our wedding), and Cindy (Wedding Sales Manager) as they were particularly helpful.
I received a room right by the parking lot, which was noisy and took away from the relaxing atmosphere. I won't be staying at this hotel again for this reason
The resort is great Rooms could be upgraded. I didn't feel the room to be as clean or comfortable as other resorts we have stayed at.
Probably the best bang for my buck ever at a hotel. Spacious room with a great golf course view. There was an adult only pool just around the corner from our room and a larger more family friendly pool towards the main plaza which means the hotel can accommodate any life stage. The main take away though is the customer service, every employee we passed in the hall said hello and asked how our day was. This on the outside seems like a small and simple thing but it made the experience so much more enjoyable.
Rooms are large. Beautiful public buildings and golf courses. Beds are very comfortable. Excellent Fitness Center. Checkin was difficult for one friend who came in late and the Front Desk made be wake up at Midnight and come to Front Desk and turn in a voucher which was not required for the other 3 rooms I had reserved for our group. That should not have happened. Everyone else had no problem checking in with ID and Credit Card but the late night clerk on Friday Night June 10th was really being silly in his demands for our late arrival. He needs to use some common sense next time and see that I had 6 rooms total in my name and added her (my friend) to one reservation.....ridiculous.
We liked the entire property, the spacious room and bathroom, and there was always parking in front of our building. We can't say there was anything we disliked.
Restaurant and staff was excellent, Javier our Server at Pinzimini made our dinner that much more enjoyable and was very accommodating of my wife's food allergies Room was downgraded and not what we paid for. Also we were sent to a nearby golf course instead because we were told they didn't have a 9 hole option which we found out later that they did :(
the help were wonderful we are seniors & had to walk miles to our room i think it was 1523
The staff was very helpful, friendly, always there to help. Had to go too far to self park. Weekend hard to find a spot to park . Several parking rows in the parking garage no access to another isle. Had to turn in same isle to go to next isle.
Great pool scene, probably the best in California.
The hotel has amazing grounds and public areas. The atrium lobby and gondola service are special, and the overall grounds are the best in the Palm Springs area. The rooms are not clean. There's no other way to say it. I found much evidence of previous guests in the room, from trash on the floor around the beds to dirty showers. The staff is also pretty unpleasant and not helpful.
Good location for what we were there for. The room needed updating. It was clean but it was loud. We were in the main building and it was too noisy. Also, beds were very uncomfortable.
The grounds, pool area, hallways and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. There was also plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel.
Our reserved room with two queen beds was unavailable upon arrival. The other room offered had one huge bed, but the other person was on a couch made into a queen. The suite was very posh, the Presidential Suite, with two rooms and a shower ten feet square!
Nightly parking fee on top of room rate, excessive charge
Staff was great and extremely helpful. Pool was relaxing. Food was okay but breakfast was better than lunch and dinner. The bar at the pool was good, but the drinks weren't strong or worth 9$. The alcoholic beverages at the pool bar were the biggest let down.
This hotel is really in need of a major rehab. The pool had scum floating in it.
Everything was awesome, from check-in to check -out! The hotel was built in early 50's, but was updated while still maintaining the mad men classy feel. Everyone in our party loved the hotel. The views were spectacular at day and at night. Cannot express enough how wonderful this place is!
Service was fast and attentive, even at the restaurant and even on a sold out weekend. And they didn't nickel-and-dime us for every little thing, such as the toothbrushes we forgot and the room towels we accidentally left at the pool. Not sure why people complain about the expensive parking because there is a free self-park lot only 100 feet away with plenty of spots.
This place was so clean! I am so picky about my rooms and pools and Hilton didn't disappoint. We traveled with kids and the pool had a lot of them during the week (not sure about weekend), and they all had such a fun time. Also, so conveniently located by all of the shops and food. Great and accommodating staff. No complaints here! Nothing ;)
The room was clean and the furniture was updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was terrible, plus they charge a daily fee of $18 which I was not aware of. The pool area was great and it was clean but the pool itself had tons of dead bugs and the water was so dirty and cloudy which was a really a shame because it was almost 110 degrees outside!
Close walking to shoppimg and restaurant's.
The service in the hotel restaurants was horrible. But it is a clean hotel. Not really worth the price.
The staff was nice that's about it This resort was dirty and not what we expected
The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the rooms were clean and nice. The staff dropped the ball pretty much every time we asked for assistance or needed an issue resolved. The only good experience we had with staff was a server in the restaurant, the bartender at the pool and a maintenance worker by the pool. The front desk staff were extremely rude, many staff members have no idea where anything is on the property, and no one apologized for making mistakes. 4th of July is obviously a busy weekend for the hotel, but we were also there for a wedding and the staff made many mistakes in accommodating the event and basic needs of a wedding group.
Pool area has dj good for young people, staff very friendly Rooms are out dated and lobby was under construction
Nice pool area They could not get the heat to work and had no room available to move is to that had working heat. We were told the hotel would waive the $35 per day resort fee - we were then charged the fee upon check out. There should be some habitability law that requires basic deliverables from a hotel in California - if there is it is not being enforced.
price blow up penis's in the pool, while kids where present
History of hotel and accessibility of a cocktail was nice. Room was nicely decorated and clean with exception of windows. Pay full price and you will get center room to main pool. Book in advance at discounted rates and you will get the garden villas aka lawn parking lot views. External windows haven't been cleaned in probably 2 years but I think it was a lawn view, difficult to see out. Good luck finding an umbrella by the pool. You can pay $500 for private cabana or burn in the sun for free.
The staff was friendly, the pool, the music First room smelled weird, the second room had a cockroach on the wall.
Nice staff! Big rooms Water main broke so that was a bummer but they moved us and compensated us a little. The first room had a big tub that I was looking forward to soaking in but never got the chance and the second room unfortunately didn't have one. Also we asked for non feather bedding because of allergies but at 2am we realized they weren't so our first night was pretty miserable
location was great. staff was warm and friendly. room was clean and bed was comfortable. ac heating did not work. called front desk and was told they would send someone but that did not happen.
Amazing weekend. Our anniversary was celebrated in style. We will definately go back. Loved it. Nothing.
buildings run down elevators smell and don't work well towels dirty bathroom with fixtures chipped two lamps without light bulbs
The one thing we enjoyed was the pool table and rental of the bikes. I didn't like the fact I had to wait four hours to change my room and the house keeper and front desk go at back n fourth about changing my room that was filled with dead ants and live ones including bugs. Smelled badly .
Nice open patio. Hummingbirds everywhere. If I knew my room was at the foot of the staircase I would have said no way. Now I know to ask.
I liked the look of the place all the bright colors While I was asleep my husband woke up to find bugs in our bed! We told the front desk and they offered us new sheets we left and when we called the manager Anna she was dismissive and rude!
The bar closing at 11 PM was rather frustrating when we were trying to get together as a group and catch up with people
Still got that retro funky sense of style. Great pool (DJ was really good). Still more affordable than other hip spots around. Spacious, simple rooms. Hotel staff was super helpful. Almost never any towels available at the pool. Drink service at the pool was dodgy at best. The hotel bar closed at 11:00pm on a Saturday night (had to do a Ralphs run for beer). Construction going on. Kids running around.
Nothing stands out The pool is murky. They absolutely should not allow pool goers that are not staying at the hotel. Drain the pool & start over! The rooms are NOT "suites". Also, what defines boutique? The colors are cool, the concept was executed but the staff & locals that frequent the pool are not keeping it classy.
cool vibe. Seems like a great place to party. colorful. el jefe was el overpriced. we live in LA so we shouldn't have been surprised by the prices, and were still shocked by the lack of value.
The Saguaro personifies Palm Springs- the colors, atmosphere, overall vibe. 2 of my girlfriends and I used it as a home base for the weekend, during which we had several parties to attend. It's location makes it prime, the deal we got on Kayak was uncomparable with the other 4 stars in the area. Clean, spacious, love the fridge in the room! Pool of course, is top 3 in the city. Also, EL JEFE has some of the most delish and forward thinking cuisine in town. At a reasonable price! I would eat there even without the convenience of staying there....goat cheese wrapped in eggplant? YES PLEASE Elevator was down in our tower during our stay, which was the only downside to our stay- lugging our bags to the 3rd floor during the hottest day of the week sucked, but luckily we are able-bodied and unbothered, may not have been as easily overlooked by older clients or clients with kids. We were told it was being fixed, hopefully soon!
Great simple easy looks fantastic!
The concierge, Lynne, made our stay special! She is super friendly, accommodating and thoughtful. The hotel has everything you need! Pool and oustside activities were very resort-like, and the bar/restaurant on site was perfect for a happy hour start to our night out! Our next stay we plan on using their gym and cruisers to explore PS. Also loved the Buz Bus stop right outside front door. Had a great stay and will be back!
Great facial and good pool scene. The room service was yummy and super fast. The elevator broke the day we got there. Things in certain areas looked run down.
Very trendy place. I enjoyed the ambiance and the pool party. It's a great place for a younger crowd.
HUGE rooms. HUUUUGE. I was amazed at the size. Didn't really matter that we were on the street side with no view, rooms were comfortable, beds were nice, and the AC (most important) was functional. Nice and helpful front desk staff. And the colorful decor is truly adorable and very picturesque. Pool area was much more Vegas-y than I had anticipated. (If I had read the other reviews, I probably would've been less surprised.) Was hoping for a more chill, read by the pool, sip a cocktail kind of weekend, but it was a legit party and pool was kinda cloudy/yucky from so many people.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, very nice pool
Tennis courts and golf course were nice. Some of the staff members were great; others not so much. I was told the place was about to undergo a complete remodel; I hope so! The whole interior is in desperate need of a makeover. The room was fairly clean on the surface, but it was dusty, the carpet and upholstery were stained, towels were thin and scratchy... the little touches were completely absent -- they provided one bar of soap we had to use for both the sink and shower, cups were flimsy plastic and not restocked every day, the pool area was barren and hot. The restaurants were depressing -- empty, with little natural light and no reason to want to go in. Some staff members were unhelpful, disinterested and didn't seem to care. All in all, worth about half of what we paid.
Rooms were clean, pool and golf course looked nice. The hotel was large. Lots of parking. Starbucks across the street. For being such a huge hotel it was oddly unoccupied on a holiday weekend. There's huge ballrooms throughout the hotel and no events. No open cafes or pool bar. The gym is a hotel room turned into a gym. We barely saw anyone at the hotel. The hotel is huge and I think we saw maybe 3 hotel staff people of whom were quiet and melancholy. It seems like a scene out of a horror movie.
The bed The entrance of the hotel was nice, maybe it was because it was beside a golf course. They don't have anybody to help us with our things and they keep telling information to the customers that was misinforming. There was no pressure in the shower When we first got in our room, the fridge was located in the bathroom, and the plug keeps falling off, the phone was not working, so i had to call in for the operator through my phone and our tv was dated and its buttons was pushed in. They gave us another room, it was the same but the fridge was working and tv was okay. They only have maybe 13 channels and the rest is ppv.
Location was ok, about a $13 Uber ride from downtown Palm Springs and did have lots of parking. Booked this hotel last min for a getaway and figured how bad could it be since it was a resort and all the places I would choice typically were booked up for the holiday weekend. That was not the case, the hotel claims it's a resort just because it's connected to a golf resort and community. It's a super old room with worn out furniture, gross carpet and cheap decor. Randomly the bed was comfortable. Pool looked ok but was packed with families with kids. Nothing about the hotel made it resort like.
They let us do late check out to 1pm. The resort few was included in the the kayak charge. No hidden fees. At request upon check in they gave us a room with pool view. Would for sure stay there again when coming back to Palm Springs. No music at the pool most days. Large clump of hair in shower not cleaned. When they made our beds they took the earphones that were laying in the bed. Maybe they blended in. Phone didn't work in the room.
The hotel and surrounding golf course was beautiful! My boyfriend loves golf and he played as soon as we arrived.. While I watched & drive the cart. The people he played with were both out of towners and local... Both very friendly and nice. Hotel is in a convenient location... Starbucks & grocery store right across the street for morning coffee and snacks/food for the day. Room has a refrigerator... However, no microwave.. so don't bring back left overs unless you eat it cold. The first night, we were woken up by a STRONG smell of cigarettes. We thought it was coming from outside but we never opened our patio door for our whole stay. It was strong in the bathroom too... So it had to have been coming from the vents. I have really bad instant allergies to the smell of cigarettes smoke... So, that coming thru the vents had a bad effect on the rest of my day.
The location was perfect. We were close to everything. We got there at night, so we didn't see anything till morning. It was a beautiful area, well kept, and the staff was very nice. Down side was it was outdated. The mini fridge in our room was on it's last leg, the tv was an old box, the decor was very Outdated. Over all the place needs a good renovation, but I felt like it was well worth what we paid for the room.
Great view! Lots of potential. People at the front desk were great. Dirty! Had a smell due to a leak in the ceiling on our floor. Pool bottom was dirty. I realize it is the desert but here was dust everywhere inside. Paint was old and dingy. Looked as though at one point was very nice and just not kept up.
Was given a room key when I checked in, when I got to the room it was already occupied. When I told frint desk she seemed shocked and asked if I inew who they were. then wanted to put me on first floor. When I said no decided then to move someone that hadn't checked in yet. That should have been first option.
The staff was very friendly. Great recommendation of where to eat.
We appreciated that we were able to check-in early and staff was very friendly. The room had more than anyone would need. A full furnished kitchen with space to sit down. The parking is a bit tight. We arrived late one evening and we had to leave our car parked near the office (not an official parking space).
Comfortable beds Very small pool and horrible parking.
We LOVED staying at 7 Springs! This Inn was exactly what we wanted for a stay in Palm Springs. Something small, cozy, mid-century modern, with a relaxing pool and a view of the surrounding mountains. This had it all. Plus, they had TWO spas, and they are walking distance to Palm Springs Dr! The bed was comfortable, and the value was incredible. Our room was spacious, and even had a kitchenette complete with a dinette table, plates/utensils/cooking supplies, etc. Service was friendly and efficient. While taking a shower on the second day, the faucet popped off of the wall and a gush of water started spewing out. Plumbing issues don't scare me so I just pushed the faucet back on and thankfully it stayed put... but it was a potentially dangerous situation as the faucet came off the pipe pretty quickly. Glad it didn't land on my foot! Also, when we checked in to the Inn we asked about extended check out. They said that they can do it, but it's up to the discretion of their housekeeping manager. The host, however, said that it should be fine - just call the morning of. When we called, however, we were only extended 30 minutes. It was quite a rush to get out in that amount of time when we were expecting 1-3 hours of extension! That said, it's a smaller Inn and we are aware that rooms need to be cleaned for other guests. We did notice, however, that the lone housekeeper was still 2 rooms down as we were leaving, so we probably could have gotten at least another 30 minutes...
Clean and comfortable rooms, convenient location, quiet and a great place to stay for your $$ Showers lacked pressure
conveniently located near downtown Palm Springs Old building, cluttered space. Some air conditioning machines are too noisy.Toilet drain blocked, switching to another room seemed not to be an emergency although a serious necessity! Staff not efficient to satisfy guests and their need!
wifi didnt work, every hotel we have gone had free bottle water, hair in ice bucket, dust above wood inside closet,
Excellent value for money and the first flat screen TV I encountered in a 28 day trip to USA - Arizona, NM and Ca
Good location ... Studio king for one is good ...
i loved the bed. I was in town for the weekend visiting my marine and we stayed there and the beds were super comfy and the ambiance of the room was all around nice. Wish the tub was a little bigger but other the. That everything was amazing. The pool and hot tub were nice to
Very nice hotel, in a beautiful city, very nice rooms and very comfortable.
great location. nicely renovated. newer rooms by the main spa look great and will stay in one of them next time. a little noisy by the main street but not a major problem
It was spacious, clean, well put together, private. Room service was delicious and came in a timely manner. Staff was polite, modest and extremely kind. I loved everything. Definitely going back.
For the price you get way more room for way less cost then other resorts it was nice having essentially a suite for the cost of a regular room kitchen and fridge a huge plus. Was nice and quiet at night. Doesn't have some of the other amenities like a mini bar etc but who really needs it with a fully stocked kitchen and fridge
The rooms were huge, the staff was friendly and helpful. Private, assigned, covered parking space. I would definitely stay here again. We have no complaints/problems with the resort, wish I had booked another night.
The suite was huge... Bigger than my apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and bbq grill on the patio. Pool was very clean and the huge balcony had a lot of privacy. The shower in the master bath doubled as a steam room! Room had kind of a weird smell but I got used to it. The tv's were a tad small for the room size.
The room was better then the pictures. There was a perfect amount of space in the suite. They were clean and the pools were well maintained.
we liked the location; we loved the mountain view from the pool area; and we really enjoyed the quiet, private and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. Our maid was a sweet girl who was very helpful. We will definitely return to Desert Isle. nothing
Great location and it's a large 1 bedroom condo unit with a full size kitchen. It's dated and simply not a 4 star property. Amenities are virtually non-existent in the bathrooms, the bed is ROCK hard, the pillows are cheap and everything feels just out of date. The pools are small and the area around them outdated as well.
Location, large room size, covered parking front desk staff was not accommodating and somewhat rude. Poor customer service. Would not store bags (so they sat in my car in 90 degree heat). Check in was for 3pm, but room wasn't ready until 4:30pm
It was an amazing experience
Another guest took one of my pool towels and that upset me. I guess there should be extra towels by the pool and that would avoid other guest from taking towels that they did not bring to the pool.
Friendly staff and quiet room. Dirty carpets and a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor.
Clean, and comfy beds. Breakfast provided
Cooks cooking hot breakfast, larger than normal eating area No Microwave in room. Clock did not work, but no big deal
Full breakfast Given a room that was "not to be rented out" because of known issues. EG: no heat, TV remote not working. ETC 2nd room had a 1 hr. power failure, next morning again no heat in freezing weather. Sent up first "technician" did not have a clue & eventually sent 2nd "technician who repaired the problem but caused another. The heat never turned off as he broke the thermostat. Front desk personnel less than helpful during our stay!
Free, made to order breakfast. Friendly staff. Cable tv was not working very well for nights when watching before bed.
Clean Friendly Staff Noisy location Small rooms Need updates
God breakfast. Friendly staff. good parking. ground floor room with patio. nice and quiet. Room was just a bit small. But nice and cozy.
Delicious hot breakfast to order! No extra fees or local taxes. Beautiful location. Nearby restaurants...Ruth Chris across from hotel. Clean and comfy bed. Enjoyed our stay here. Will come back. Pool closed at 10
Only Pool Room is really dirty and has smoking smell
Peaceful, clean and relaxing Staff weren't too knowledgeable about their resort
Very quite. Staff very helpful. Close to El Paseo which was great for me. Needs major remodel.
People on staff and the room Yes, the pool was cold. And the workout room was poorly set up and some of the equipment was not working. When we asked about a plug, we were told it would be attended to, but it never was.
The studio where I stayed (292) was amazing, very comfortable and large, huge tv, great bed, nice kitchen and bathroom, loved it. Nothing

The room had most all amenities as if you were at home. Clean facility and friendly staff. Very reasonable rates The air conditioner in the room was weak and had a hard time keeping the room cool. The bed sagged in the middle.

I enjoyed the little river that ran in the patio area. the lighting in the bathroom mirror area was not as bright.
Staff room and pool. Location of room. Too loud above. Tile floor above was loud.
This hotel had 15 tennis courts that were very active. This is an older resort which had been modernized.
