Overview

The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is one of the more upscale and modern casinos in Reno. It tends to draw gamblers and couples looking for a weekend getaway or spa vacation, though its location near the Reno-Sparks Convention Center also draws many convention-goers.

The upscale Atlantis Casino Resort is located at the quieter southern end of Virginia Street and is connected to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Plenty of shops like Meadowood Mall, and restaurants are within a short distance. Downtown Reno, Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum, and the Nevada Museum of Art are all nearby as well.

The modem casino resort boasts of a modern style and the 824 rooms are spacious and contemporary, many with mountain views. Accommodations come in many categories and range from modern and high-end to traditional. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the city and/or Sierra Nevada mountains. All rooms feature convenient necessities such as coffeemakers, free Wi-Fi, iHome clock radios with iPod docks, and 42-inch flat-screen TVs. The more upgraded the room, the more luxurious features that are added.

The hotel includes a huge casino, one of Nevada’s best premium spas, two pools, and several restaurants and bars, including the popular Atlantis Steakhouse. The casino features popular items such as a poker room, blackjack, pai gow, baccarat, craps, roulette, high-limit room, slot machines, keno, and race and sports book. The resort also offers men's and women's tea lounges, men’s and women’s locker rooms with herbal steam and cedarwood saunas, and an excellent fitness center

Atlantis has been awarded Best Resort for its exceptional and friendly service. It creates an oasis for relaxation, celebration, and rejuvenation and is always a favorite destination for travelers near and far.

Room wasn't ready for 5 hours after I checked in. Was told I would get a text when it was ready, which I did not. Are check in was fast and people in the front desk are very friendly. Room was clean, but for some reason the temperature in the room was hot, specially at night. To the point that it was hard to sleep. Employees from the Parrot restaurant were rude. We spend there a couple days and sadly it was disappointed that all the time that we eat there it was the same attitude from the waitress.
